I do not recommend Naturalawn. I hired Naturalawn when the prior owner still owned it - I had no issues - service was good and consistent. This year I had to contact Naturalawn when it missed a fertilization. Unfortunately it also missed the last two fertilizations for this Fall, which I had to do myself. Service is too inconsistent or non existent. I also asked for an aeration quote and was offer a core aeration price of $512 for just the aeration (which included a 10% discount) and was told the seed would be "free". Most companies in the area charge far less than this for core aeration and overseeding. Not sure what happened with this business but we will not be using them for future services.
No one takes time to leave a good review only bad ones. But here's mine. I know companies switching owners can be hard to get used to because we are used to things being done a certain way. But I can say i have had no problems since the switch. Honestly this is the 1st time in a long time that I have had the same guy treating my lawn all season. Not only does he do a great job but if there is a problem with my lawn I am notified. I like the fact that if I have a issue with my lawn or any problem they send a gentleman out to assist, who is very respectful and knowledgeable. Calling the Call center can be a pain but most Call centers are. Great job! I will continue to use them .
I would AVOID this company at all costs and I'll explain why. I have been a customer of Natural Lawn of America for the last 4 years. I was VERY, VERY pleased with their services. The prior owner would call me, come to our house personally, etc. With the change in ownership during the last year, the company has fallen apart. We received two services (April and May) and have not been serviced since, after new management told us we had to have a card on file for auto-payment or pay in full. Boy, am I glad we did not pay in full. No one has serviced our address for June or July. When I call to ask about it, I get a call center somewhere in India I'm assuming, with the same message "all of our associates are busy at this time, may I take a message?" Last Thursday, July 18th, I received a call from who I assume was the owner that simply stated as soon as I picked up the phone "someone will be out there first thing Friday" and hung up the phone. Well, to no one's surprise, the service never happened. As soon as I can get a hold of someone at this scam of a company I will be cancelling my services. It's a real shame someone with this little regard to customer service took over what was once a great, reliable and affordable option. AVOID, DO NOT USE, RUN FOR THE HILLS!
I used this company since 2015 with great results and customer care. They sold in the fall of 2023 to a new owner. Since then my yard has never looked as bad as it does now. I don’t know if it’s because they don’t know what they are doing or cutting back on the products they use. Then last Friday (July 12, 2024) I noticed a charge on my credit card from Natural Lawn for treating my yard for grubs. I called and told the person that I had not received this treatment and that they had not been out to service my yard. After three attempts I finally received a call back. The person calling stated he was the owner. He checked his records and stated his guy treated my yard starting at 12:20 and left at 12:42 on July 12, 2024. I informed him that none of my security cameras showed that he was here plus he would have had to let me know he was here so I could unlock the gate to allow him into the back yard. I told him he was welcome to come review the videos for that day if he wanted to. I asked him to credit my account and cancel me as a customer. As of today nothing has been credited. I’ve have disputed the account with the credit card company so I’ll wait and see how this turns out.
We recently started using this service to treat our yard for weeds and to fertilize the grass, and all I can say is wow. I didn’t expect the yard to be so drastically different so quickly. The grass is thicker and grows quite a bit faster, and there are nearly no visible weeds left. Well worth the cost, which is far less than the competitors we looked at initially.
I struggled for years, using various lawn care companies but still always having problems with patches of dead grass and weed issues. I could tell the roots of the grass did not extend very deep into the surface and the edges of the lawn would actually lift up when I used a leaf blower. All the other companies had been able to achieve was getting rid of dandelions in the spring. Within the same year I started using NaturaLawn of America, I could tell my lawn was improving. And now my lawn is full, green with minimal weeds. The root system is solidly extended into the surface. And I loved the idea that NaturaLawn care was safe alternative for kids and pets. The staff at NaturaLawn care are GREAT to work with. Always timely response to any questions or requests. Staff lets you know 24 hrs in advance when they will be coming out for service. In addition to fertilizing services, I have a safe alternative perimeter spray and yearly lawn aeration. Also like that I can prepay for annual serivce each year and save some cash.
Natural lawn has done a very good job of taking care of our yard. We had a lot of moles and when they started the grub treatment I was dubious, but after two years we don't have any moles! The grass looks great and I'm happy to know that I am using eco-friendly products so I am not polluting the White River which is nearby.
I have used NaturaLawn for over 5 years. Their lawn service has been more than satisfactory. My lawn is weed-free and growing well. I also like the fact that NaturaLawn uses pet-friendly treatments. The technicians always leave a detailed report on the service performed during every visit. I appreciate the consistently good service have received over the years.
I just started with this company. They all seem very friendly and very responsive. I love the idea that it s natural organic and not a bunch of chemicals.
Prepaid for 6 lawn treatments for this season and so far as of August 15th I have only received 2 treatments and my lawn has never looked worse. Most lawn care companies have already applied the 4th treatment for the season and I know this because I am a property manager.
Refuse to answer their phone or provide any customer service of any kind.
Update 6/20 - I am changing from review from a 5 to a 3. I was divorced and my ex and his son continued to live in the house. I never received a notice about my service renewing despite getting all my other correspondence electronically. I relayed this information after receiving an invoice and am disappointed that we werent able to come to a better solution. I have not lived in the property since October 2021 and would have used them at my new house if they have been more accommodating. I get that you run a business, but if you have someone set up for electronic notifications, they most likely will not get a physical letter in the mail and particularly when their are other circumstances in play I was looking for a greener option for lawn care since we have kids and pets and Im really impressed with their work! We were a new build in late 2018 so our yard needed some help and after the first treatment, I could see a difference.
Signed up months ago....in February. Still havent seen them out despite calls...but they have lots of excuses as my weeds and dandelions pop up, and yes I do have an account under a different last name...see account 79102
An outstanding example of a quality service coupled with great customer service. Several of our neighbors also use our local Indy NaturaLawn service - we have some great looking lawns around here!
After an initial rocky start at the beginning of year we have seen better performance & a better looking lawn. Don has come out personally to discuss our observations. I appreciate his companies concern for our property.
I had used ExperiGreen for lawn care and when I paid them to over-seed I was very disappointed. In 2020, I had NaturaLawn of America over-seed and their results were EXCELLENT. I watered daily. It took about the 4th week until the fescue grass really started to break through, but when it did, it was great to see. Lawn looks significantly better. SUGGESTIONS: Cut your lawn before they over-seed. If hot summer and your lawn/dirt is hard, WATER your lawn the morning they over-seed. Schedule your over-seeding in mid-September for October 1st...because all the lawncare companies are busy in early October over-seeding. If you call then, you may have to wait up to 2 weeks and if frost comes early it will negatively impact your seed.
I ve had a wonderful experience the last 18 months with this group! It also feels good not to be adding harsh chemicals to the environment!

NaturaLawn of Indianapolis has provided our lawn care for nearly a decade. We are highly satisfied with their service. Donny, who does our lawn, is a very hard worker and consistently does great work. Our lawn looks great and we can feel good about not dumping harmful chemicals into the runoff/environment. Our kids (and pets) can run around in the grass without us worrying about exposure to harmful chemicals. I wish everyone who stop using the competitors and switch to NaturaLawn.

I have been using NaturaLawn since 2006. Before I started with them my lawn was green alright except it was mostly weeds. The serviced the lawn and each year i had them aerate and overseed the lawn. Now it is a plush GREEN lawn from grass NOT weeds. After having a terrible experience with Trugreen I am ecstatic. I would highly recommend them to anyone who cares to have a nice lawn. After i cut it, it is like a golf fairway.
NaturaLawn of America does a great job of keeping my yard weed free and the grass green. I would highly recommend them to anyone. In addition the benefit of them over a national chain is that you can speak to the local franchise owner directly if you need anything!

My lawn has never looked nicer. In two years my dandelion lawn has turned into a sea of grass. I also had them aerate and seed. I have not been disappointed. Nothing they can do about the dry weather though.
