Lawn Pride in Indianapolis

I m revising my original review, as the company did rectify the situation. I used their services for only a short period of time (the fall). Unfortunately, the individual did not complete the service when they came, and I only was aware due to recently installed security cameras. They still invoiced me without providing the service. I reached out to the company to cancel future services and Sandra rectified the situation swiftly, ensuring the service was completed the following week. While I feel the initial encounter was very dishonest and unethical, it was rectified and hopefully won t occur in the future.

Professional service every time never in hurry they Always get the job.

They have been taking care of my lawn for the last four years and it has always looked really good.

The final straws of the yard looking bad was the third party aeration missing the same spot twice and the technicians missing it over and over. The crabgrass and weeds that still popped up The overly rude customer service rep who hung up on me when trying to reschedule the missed fertilization appointment. It started off great last year. This year not so much. Charging exorbitant gas surcharges of $3 for each lawn is basically LP not paying for any gas. I m not mad. I m disappointed.

1. Showed up on the property twice without text message or email notice. They said theyve set it up but no, on those two services, I never got the messages. It makes it harder for me to plan my activities if I dont have a headsup of technicians arrival. I hope they rectify the issue permanently 2. Josh Humphrey (Sales) wasnt able to get my scheduling resolved, as he said he has limited information. Unfortunately, he really has an attitude in talking with customers and seems clueless in knowing how to handle the conflicts. He claimed that he had called me back on Monday as a follow-up but no he never did as I never saw a call back from Lawn Pride on that day. So he really needs to be truthful to himself. And he immediately got mad when I told him to be truthful so he started to raise his voice and yes unfortunately I had to raise my voice too and we both talked over each other and unfortunately he started to accuse me of being rude. The conversation suddenly became he educating me what to do and what not to do. I dont feel right about it. 3. To Josh - I highly recommend that you take some trainings in knowing how to handle a frustrating customer who didnt get a clear answer from you on the scheduling and who have not been notified of your technician arrival twice in a row. And do not hang up on customers who are still speaking. And recognize that you also talk over me from time to time. Yes, the conversation and feelings goes both way - never ever think one-sided that youre right etc, is what I want to tell you. Learn to at least say sorry and echoing with customers situation is very helpful and important. 4. I still want to give them a chance and decide if I want to continue on the service that they provide, or switch to Trugreen. I hope I never have to call Josh Humphrey again and the services will run as cruise-control without any hustle in the future.

I ve noticed broadleaf clumps in my lawn this year. Seems to be spreading. Does your program address this?

Been very happy with Lawn Pride. After receiving poor service from my prior lawn care company, Ive been with Lawn Pride for two years now and my lawn health has really improved. Update: 10.11.24, received a good aeration and overseed from Lawn Pride. Had one damaged pop up drain emitter and Lawn Pride immediately agreed to credit me for replacement.

Lawn pride shows up consistently and provides a great service. I only wish that we were notified earlier than the day prior that they were coming out. If they could email the schedule for our services at the beginning of the year that would make it a five star rating for me.

Lawn Pride has been taking care of my yard for one year. I like that they notify me in advance of each visit. They also send an email after each service stating exactly what was done, problems found, and suggestions. My lawn was in pretty bad shape when I hired them, but it looks better now. I expect it to continue to improve.

The technician always showed up on the day expected. He also paid special attention to some hard to get to spots by applying the application manually. I sure hope that the same technician is assigned to my property next year.

I have used their service for a few years now and had previously been very pleased. However, this year scheduled a core aeration and overseeding and they failed to show when scheduled or the following week? Ended up cancelling the service.

For as much as I pay, way too many weeds. Im manually spraying a lot to help but that s what I pay for. Also-personal frustration for companies that drive for service-don t charge me a fuel/travel/miles or whatever you call it fee. 100% of your company jobs requires driving.

Lawn Pride turned my lawn into something that I am proud of. They provide great service.

I have had LawnPride for a few years in my new home & about 5 years in my last one. I really used to love the level of service I received before but now not so much. For some reason, I have had way more weeds than Id like and theyre not as consistent with when they come. Before it was every 4-5 weeks depending on weather and now its just whenever they decide to come.

Had Lawn Pride for lawn maintenance last year. They did a pretty good job with the fertilization and weed control. However, the aeration and overseeding was not done appropriately with the sides of the home being ignored. Despite calling up the customer care, they down played it saying they always do a good job. Had a manager visit in May this year who agreed that they did a poor job on the sides and front yard. Agreed to aerate and overseed the front and sides as a manager service at no cost. They scheduled an aeration and overseeding in August and generated an invoice. I called up and informed that this was supposed to be a no cost one. They cancelled and then said they will aeration on Sept 20. After that I had to follow up since multiple times since they wont show up neither would the automatically reschedule if they had to cancel for any reason. Finally aeration happened on 1st October. Could have done it in the original appointment itself. Another appointment they missed after they ran of the materials but failed to reschedule until I called them. Not been a good experience this year. Ended up cancelled my service with them.

We were having weed problems in our lawn and the lawn was in need of fertilizing for the health of the lawn. Lawn Pride gave us a reasonable price and discount and our lawn is looking much better. They even came back and overseeded again for free when we didnt see the grass seed growing. Our lawn looks a lot healthier even with the lack of rain. We are more diligent in watering the lawn also.

Excellent service. After only 2 treatments we can see the difference in our lawn. The weeds and wild grass is nearly gone and the young man who treated our lawn even treated the wild grass that was growing on our steps , without our asking him to do so, Lawn Pride is a keeper!!!

Theyre awesome. Ive hired two other lawn care companies, TruGreen and Millers. Millers was ok but it didnt feel like they treated my lawn like their own; just that they were here to get a job done without really caring about the outcome. TruGreen was a terrible experience; suggesting and charging exorbitant prices for services that ended up not making any difference. Lawn Prides services have made a huge difference in my lawn in just one season. It seems like theyre treating my lawn like their own, analyzing it and providing service it needs instead of just getting the job done. They did push me out 3 weeks for aeration in the fall, rescheduling several times during those 3 weeks, but I called and told them that it needed to be done ASAP as at this point its almost too late for it to be beneficial. A manager called me back in 5 minutes and apologized, said theyd have someone out the next day, and that it would be free. To me that more than made up for the delay. On top of that, the aeration was performed slowly and purposefully, instead of the typical go as fast as I can and get it done experience Ive had with other aeration services.

DOG OWNERS BEWARE! We had service of our lawn done on July 26th. Our dogs were already inside so we thought nothing of it. We waited 3 hours to let them outside. Our German Shepherd ran outside and grabbed a toy and brought it to me. I didn t see where he got it from. I went ahead and called Lawn Pride and asked if the people putting down chemicals on our yard are supposed to pick up dog toys. She assured me they are supposed to. I thought nothing more of it. I figured our dog grabbed a toy from our deck/trampoline/3 seater swing. Unfortunately, our dog started to get sick and we had no idea why. He had issues with his GI tract before so they treated him for that. We had X-rays done, GI tract bloodwork done, special dog food. But he continued to deteriorate. On August 26th, we had Lawn Pride come out again. We got a text message the day before but that doesn t really help when you have dogs. They don t give you like an estimated time and they don t knock on the door. The dogs go in and out throughout the day and take their toys with them. So we heard the machine, and got the dogs inside. Before we even had a chance to go out and pick up dog toys, the lady was already spraying our backyard. I was looking out the window and saw she sprayed right over 3 dog toys. They were 100% visible because of how dead our grass is. I went out on the back deck and got her attention. I said, you just put chemicals all over the dog toys! Aren t you supposed to pick them up?! She said yes, she is supposed to but she was behind on her schedule so she decided not to. She told us that we should soak them and clean them. We just threw them away. Just in case cleaning them wasn t enough. But just think about that for a second. If I wouldn t have looked out the window then I wouldn t have known that she was spraying poison on our dog s toys! There is absolutely no reason for that to happen. Especially when I was assured that they would pick them up. I went ahead and called to complain about the matter and to cancel my service. I had a manager call and leave me a voicemail. Basically saying they would refund me for my last service and give them a call if I have any more questions. Unfortunately, our German Shepherd didn t make it. We had to have him put down two nights ago. The bloodwork we had done on him said he was going through liver failure. He had lost 30 pounds and he was just too far gone. He wasn t able to keep down food or even water. If you look up side effects of pesticides, liver failure is on the list. I did NOT see them NOT picking up dog toys in July, just in August. So I cannot say this is exactly what happened with our German Shepherd. But it does seem like it could be a possibility. So just be extra careful. I wouldn t use this company at all. We just wanted people to do their job. Care for your customers and their animals. I just wanted to put that warning out to other dog parents.

I ve had Lawn Pride for 9 years. Years 1-6 were awesome. The last few years have been terrible. I had to call and remind them I was due for an application, notes were entered and not reviewed by tech, called repeatedly for the same add on services, etc. They didn t even try to retain me when I cancelled.

After pictures posted. Services provided as advertised with a one day email notification. If you call; they will reschedule without offense. We have a HOA that theoretically provides these same services, but the results were dismal These folks corrected that with just a few applications. Give them a try; easy to cancel if you aren t satisfied.

When it started it was good. Now it s awful. There are weeds everywhere, patches of lawn are dying. What am I even paying for? We fired them today and I wouldn t pay for them if I were you. When we called to cancel the individual on the phone offered no solutions, tried to fix nothing, didn t mention this policy they have or nothing. The account is under my partners name so you won t find me. I m telling you. Lawn Pride has no Pride. Don t use them.

Ive used these guys for a few years and was satisfied with their service. However, lately I canceled their service and they ended up showing up and fertilizing my yard anyway. I reluctantly paid them. They also through the years have increased their prices substantially. And I have damage on my fence from them.

Pleased for the most part. Sidewalks, driveway and patio was not blown off. I had to blow the excessive fertilizer off.

Signed up for yearly lawn maintenance. They came out twice then quit coming out. Called to try and get on the schedule but no one ever returned my call. Ended up calling to cancel. They seemed to have got that message. Wouldn t recommend. They seem not to really care that they last a customer.

I have been using Lawn Pride for several years. I have used several other lawn care companies in the past but none of them come close to the quality of the product, service or price of Lawn Pride. I recently was able to observe my technician do his job. My property has flat, angled, hilly and hard to reach areas. This young man whos name is Caleb handled my property with ease and took time to apply weed control to an area that was always ignored by the other companies technicians because of the difficulty to reach the area. (Through a gate, down a hill and back up to fence) If you are looking for a lawn care company that will take care of your lawn like its their own, then choose Lawn Pride!

The biggest issue I have had with past lawn service providers is the inability to stay on a schedule, which resulted in less than desirable outcomes. Lawn Pride has been punctual and responsive. We live on a golf course and receive many compliments on our lawn by passers by.

Have always been a Do it Myself yard guy. Finally did the math and not only is it less $$$ to have Lawn Pride care for our yard, I now have that time back as well. The best part is that now our grass is beautiful and thick. Should have made this change years ago. I ll never handle another chemical or worry about what to put where and when. I tell everyone who will listen to just give them a year to make things better and they will.

Lawn looks green and nice. When weeds appear lawn Pride will come out to spray, but only when you wait 2 weeks to call them back after treatment, not 9 days after or you will need to call again.

I was hesitant to use a lawn treatment service but am glad I chose Lawn Pride. From the person I scheduled the appointment with over the phone to the serviceman Josh that applied the treatment; every step was professional and very positive. Josh explained in detail what he was doing and what results I should expect and a timeline for those results. It is obvious he enjoys his work and is very knowledgeable about it as well. Third lawn care I ve used Stayed with them for years they do a good job

New home new yard! When we first moved in to our newly built home there was sod in the front and seed in the back. The ground was so hard I didnt think anything was going to make our lawn look healthy. Its amazing that just 2/12 years having Lawn Pride service our lawn how beautiful are lawn looks! Looks like we have been here forever! Couldnt be happier!

I loved the young lady that did my yard but after a few weeks I was still seeing weeds. I requested someone to come back 3 times and no one has come back so I will be cancelling this service!

This company service nylon for several years. Unfortunately, the service became unreliable and product can you set my alarm is either inferior or cut back to the point where it was ineffective. Long story short it ruined my grass. I switched to Blue Duck and I couldnt be more pleased with how they brought my lawn back to life and better looking than ever. Added bonus, price was for less and their technicians are always professional.

Have used them for a long time. They treat my lawn as if it were their own. Very friendly applicators and office staff. Highly recommended!

Left some areas that still have dandilions

The application was administered very carefully and completely, even on the lawn edges. He even moved my trash/recycling bins to make sure that the grass underneath was fully covered. Please send same person every time!

Right after your last application quite a few large new weeds appeared in several places in the yard. I thought they would die out soon but they are still thriving. They are probably 8-10 in tall. Help.

I have been with Lawn Pride for maybe 8 years. I cannot get the same results as the service. The cost of seeding and fertilizer, etc and my time. It is worth it. Employee recommended an adjustment to my yearly lawn service. Long term wise it will make my grass green and lush. Looking forward to seeing it.

I have very please with my lawn service. However, our gate to the backyard was left wide open after our most recent service. Our dog could have easily gotten out and been hit my a car. We ask that you please leave the gate exactly how you found it after the service.

Have had Lawn Pride service for a few years now and it seems like the quality has dropped some. The techs used to use a hand wand to spray weeds against the house and around things in the yard. Now they barely cover the full yard with product. Would like to see them get back to the quality expected.

Lawn Pride did a good job for us on weed control & fertilizers. We just switched to them because of a cheaper price. I am pleasantly surprised that they did as good as our usual company. I may keep them for a long while.

I have used Lawn Pride with great success. At one point, we changed companies (we went with a service that my husband had used prior to our marriage) and I was not impressed. It appears the yard is back to its lush looks this year after Lawn Pride s 2023 efforts. Yay Lawn Pride!

Lawn Pride has done wonders for our yard! Living in a build-your- house community that is very popular these days, the ground we live on is not very conducive to green grass. Plus new kinds of weeds like to form all the time. Lawn Pride has our lawn looking better than ever and we have made a lot of progress with them. I recommend them highly!
