We had a fallen Leyland Cypress and another one leaning on our house after a wind and rain storm. The folks at Secure Turf & Tree were quick to respond to my request for a quote and very prompt to schedule removal of the trees to avoid further damage to our property. Ryan and the crew did a great job removing the trees and stumps, and cleaning up the site.

We had 5 trees taken down by Secureturf. All 5 were VERY close to our house. One was also right beside the power lines for the neighborhood. As you can see in the pictured attached, they took down each tree by sections and never came close to touching anything. When they left, all five trees were gone and totally cleaned up. Yes, I would recommend then and will use then again myself.

If I could give a 10 I would. Not only was the service excellent. it was worth more I think than they charged. On top of that the fellas were just really really cool guys. We enjoyed having them here and will certainly use them in the future and suggest them to our friends .

This was a great company 3 years ago. Not sure what has changed but the quality of the service has gone down dramatically and the responses to concerns raised were inadequate at best. Sadly had to part ways after all this time. Best of luck to others.

Had two large trees removed and tight spacing in my front yard. Made it look easy and did a third job cleaning up afterwards my lawn hasnt ever looked as good afterwards.

SecureTurf came out to help us remove a few trees and the crew couldnt have been nicer! Work was completed to our satisfaction and pricing was fair.

Rex and his team buried my downspouts to help with some drainage issues. They also put in sod, installed metal edging, planted some shrubs, installed and modified garden beds, and used rocks in an area that was perpetually muddy from my trash cans. I was very pleased with response times for questions, help with modifications to the original plan, the professionalism of the workers, and the value. I would use SecureTurf again.

If you are seeking a high-quality, professional staff to place your trust in, this company is not the one. They are never on time, they fail to meet the schedules they set for purposes of fungus control and fertilization. Made two attempts to voice my concerns with the owner, never received any responses. The company wants nothing but your hard-earned money, customer service is NOT in their vocabulary.

They removed a large tree limb after a storm sent it crashing into our home and car. They were extremely cautious to make sure the removal did not further damage our cars or home. We were extremely happy with their tree services.

Was recommended to them by a great local nursery. Unfortunately have to agree with several of the reviews here: they said they d come out and never did. This is becoming an all too common occurrence with contractors and I believe potential customers should know. If I say I m going to do something, I do it. That s just how I live my life. If a business doesn t do the same well then I m not going to follow up or hunt them down. They ll just get my negative review and none of my hard earned money. Too bad for them: my new home on 3 acres would have been a big new account for them. Just ask the nursery who recommended these guys! I m not shy when it comes to spending on my property. Oh well! On to the next. Consider yourself forewarned if considering these guys!

Let me brief and clear. I am very VERY picky about my yard. I hired Secure Turf several years back after having experienced some that were just not that good. They currently do my chemical applications and annual spring clean up. These guys? TOP SHELF! There is not a company in the Greater Charlotte Market that outperforms these guys. The field team is AWESOME, the office staff is AWESOME and the owner treats you like a friend and neighbor. It just does NOT get better than Secure Turf!! Period.

I love having SecureTurf take care of our yard! They handle everything so that I dont have to fuss at my husband to do it anymore. Since we are retired we can enjoy our beautiful lawn without the hassle of constant chores outside. It is great and the ladies always answer any questions I have when I call. My neighbor tells me they love how neat, clean, and thick our grass always is.

I ve been using SecureTurf for a couple years now and my lawn looks so much better. They told me it would be a process from the start because it looked so bad when they began. I love Secure Turf. Ive been using them a long time because I like doing business with local establishments and not chains who dont really care about their work.

We have had Secure Turf for several years now and are considering another service. We have had such poor response for them to give us more than 1 day lead way to come out to treat our lawn because we have a locked gate. Ive had to call them on many occasions asking them to please let us know way ahead of time so that we can ensure that we can plan around it. After initially kept saying that they could not accommodate in that manner, they said they would let us know in advance. They followed through with that promise twice and things went back to normal! It has been nothing but FRUSTRATION because they dont hesitate to take our monthly payment but we dont get the service we are paying for. PURE NEGLIGENCE! I would not recommend them to anyone who wants good service!

Always been great lawn Service for my 15+ years

I had a out of control crab grass issue. All I can say is the crab grass is dead and the real grass looks great.

Started my service a year ago. Ended it today. Grass looks 3x worse now than it did when we started. Over seeding was incomplete. Crabgrass is back. Weeds are back. Bare spots galore. Not worth your call!!!

I have had a really bad experience with them. My lawn had more weed and crabgrass six months after they started servicing than ever before! Please stay away from this company!!

Secureturf just completed our new outdoor living space, including building up our retaining wall and actually giving us a yard. The slope from our house to the back left corner of our yard was severe. There was a small retaining wall 5 Blocks high, that dropped down to just 1 block high in the back corner. Ryans attention to detail to make sure that he matched the existing blocks and make the addition look perfect. SecureTurf went and spoke with the neighbor to let them know, there would be some foot traffic as the wall was being built. Theycompletely owned any touch up that needed to occur on the neighbors yard, which wasnt much. (The neighbor is now a customer and just had a new fire pit built!) The new backyard is great! We can actually play out there with our kids. The back left corner was raised by more than 6 feet and loads of dirt were brought in, to make it a usable yard! We are so happy and excited. I never write reviews. But, I just couldnt let this opportunity pass to give SecureTurf a great big thank you! Youre the best at what you do!

As a customer by more than a year and my lawn in ruined condition I tried to reach customer service and then onto a supervisor. Had to wait for 3 days to get a call from Jonathan only to be told that he is travelling. Customer service tells me that she was not the person that I spoke to 3 days back and hence cant do anything. Such pathetic attitude. This is irrespective of the fact that I called secure turf office 5 weeks back and spoke Jonathan about the lawn condition. You are really at the mercy of these guys!

Have been with SecureTurf for a little over a year. We had them seed and aerate last year and had a fairly good result. by the end of summer there were significant bare spots. We called numerous times to schedule aeration this year and would simply be told we were on the schedule without being given any timeframe of when it would be done. We were finally on the schedule for October 23 which got delayed for rain. It was actually performed on October 30. It is now much cooler and leaves are constantly covering my yard. The aeration itself barely scratched the ground with very few plugs. Very disappointing since the chance of getting a good stand of grass has diminished greatly due to cold weather and leaves. I will not use again for aeration. We will see about other services.

Most unproffessional company i have come across. Been almost a year now, their guy came and we explained him what all landscape work we need in our yard. He said he will come back with estimates. Since then called 2-3 times and its been year now; no one came back. My advise to them, if you dont want to work then please close your business

Almost no proactive project management on their part that we didnt initiate; very slow returning calls/email. Our $6000 re-sod project issues were attributed to weather/disease issues and no one ever volunteered to meet us onsite and explain an action plan, other than suggest additional treatments at our expense. Emails copied to the General Manager were not replied to. Another company asked to look at the yard explained there was no disease problem they saw. The low sunlight situation as professionals ST should have advised about. When the contract was cancelled, no one at ST contacted us to see what they could do to improve, or re-gain our business. We feel much of our expense could have been better spent if ST linked with us as business professionals. Weve been asked about our yard by neighbors and tell the story.

Ive been with Secure Turf for a year and am researching other companies as I write this. I know yards take time but my service experience has been just as spotty as my lawn looks right now. Services purchased: monthly fertilizer treatments and fall seeding/aeration. Issues: 1) Sales vs. Service. They give a great sales pitch and seem to know their stuff about yards, it is like pulling teeth to get follow through on the maintenance plan. 2) Inconsistent. Street facing front yard (the big advertisement) looks decent; solid improvement. The side yard is obviously getting skipped because it is overgrown with weeds and monkey grass, which weve called and emailed about repeatedly. Back yard is slowly getting better, despite setbacks described in #4. 3) Missed Appointments. We inquired about side yard weeds in April and were told someone would stop by to resolve. That was 6 weeks ago. Weve emailed, called, and been stood up on THREE specific appointments, despite the fact we were told originally that we didnt have to be home. 4) They dont actually care about your lawn or educating you to make proper lawn care decisions. We paid for fall seeding and aeration with little to no progress in our back yard. Called to get a re-seed and learned (too late) that we have too much crabgrass for the seed in the back yard to take. We would have happily dealt with the crabgrass if someone had bothered to tell us, rather than wasting $200 and a years time. Note: we received one $50 statement credit for this. Summary: mediocre improvement, constantly have to call and keep on them. Big headache; not worth it.

SecureTurf recently completed an extensive drainage project at my house. I knew this would be a big undertaking, so I took several bids to evaluate my options. Throughout this process SecureTurf was very responsive, gave excellent advice, and had the best price. The work started exactly when they said it would and finished on time despite some bad weather. Kudos to Don, Ronaldo and the crew for a job well done. I would have no hesitation working with SecureTurf again, and recommend them for anyone considering landscape or drainage work.

I have called several landscaping companies to transform my yard with a vision of how & what i wanted, secure turf was the last to show up..i met with Don Franks who was knowledgeable to incorporate my ideas along with his experience to do a beautiful job. I could not be happy.if you want a great yard done right..call don, hes the man.

We have used them for almost two years now, it has been one disappointment after another. After several months I complained that our yard looked worse then when we started, I was informed that it would take at least a year of their scheduled visits before I would see a change. So I waited and waited and waited, maybe a slight difference but we also water our lawn and the old owners did not. We were paying for them to do the front yard and back, they would constantly forget the back, show up whenever they wanted and leave a bill and took forever to come back out. TWO YEARS in a row they forgot to seed and aerate our back yard, it took weeks for them to come back out the first time. The second time I happened to be home and had to call them after they left, they came back and still forgot to fertilize my lawn afterwards which was $50..had no problem charging me for it though. I have called and complained about weeds after plenty of weed treatments , only to be told they dont do those kind of weeds....maybe a note or something wouldve been nice considering my WHOLE front yard was mainly those weeds. They ended up coming out to spray after I complained and killed everything, including the regular grass. After being home a few times when they come out and witnessing them not doing what they are charging for, who knows how often and to who else they have been doing this. The ONLY good thing I have experienced was Dexter came out for a quote on top soil (which was outrageous) and he was very nice, and Donna who answers the phone is always quick to help.

I had one of my clients call SecureTurf for an estimate, they had recently purchased a home that had a tiny paver patio and backyard landscaping issues. SecureTurf gave them a great estimate and got the job done quickly. They are loving the new house and the beautiful landscaped backyard that SecureTurfs design team created for them. The renters I had in this house did not water or take care of the grass for 2 years. Jamie was able to advise us as to what we need to correct our Bermuda grass.
