TruGreen Lawn Care in Indian Trail

So I just started service on 1/16 and I was told first payment was going to be 50 and there after 118 wow what a lie found they took 118 out if some one doesnt call me this will be canceld

Had a few problems to start. Lets see if the rest of the services are good enough for th 5th start Edit: always canceled on me, techs were terrible

GREAT serves by TruGreen. Shannon was amazing as well. He explained the process for his visit. He offered some tips to help maintain my lawn going forward.

Got a call from a representative Friday 11/22 saying that someone would be here on Friday 11/29. The technician showed up today. I always keep my gates locked until the appointment date. This has happened before. Luckily I was home today.

While the people providing the service is great. The company failed to put down army worm control so all the gain by using TruGreen was lost and I ended up starting over with heavy seeding, fertilizing and Aeration. I applied my own triazicide to control these pests after the damage was done. I would expect a service like TruGreen to be aware a pre treat for this. When I contacted the company I never got a response. With every post treatment the comments are noticed bare spots in lawn. Requires seeding, fertilization, and aeration in the fall to correct. Which is a bit of a jab to the gut after paying so much for this service.

Very disappointed in the service and lawn care after a year. After about the first year, the lawn still had weeds and had gotten better but then on the last service they killed practically all the grass. Manager was supposed to come out and never called or came out. So I canceled the service.

TruGreen does a wonderful job helping me with my yard!

Even though the gentleman had nothing to do with the delay. The day before no one called me,in regards to know show nor did I get a phone call. So I decided to call.It was passed the time they were suppose to be here. The man on the other end said he did not no what happened,they would be there. I told him how the hell are they going to work in the dark. I told him to have a nice evening and hung up.As of now no phone call to tell me why. ThatsTru Green for you, poor business.

I wouldn t recommend this company for anyone with a larger yard. Perhaps they do ok for small yards. My yard looks terrible after one year of service. The app does not ever work and it s nearly impossible to get in contact with a local manager. I ve been waiting for over a month to have a manager come out in person to see my yard after I ve complained time and time again about weeds and brown spots everywhere. My yard needs to be seeded asap and still no one has contacted me about that service. I will not be using them ever again and I would tell anyone who enjoys a green yard to use someone else. They are simply a big well advertised company but their services are useless at this point. Very disappointed. I ve been told 4 times in the past 2 weeks a manager would be calling me immediately and still no call. Complete waste of money.

Worst experience ever. I ve had them over a year, they were good at first. Recently I had army worms take over my yard. Called and they said treatment is included in my plan BUT I also needed to treat the trees and shrubs for an additional $275. I didn t want to pay extra but did it ONLY because they promised me if I paid for the upgrade, the could be out in 48 hours. This happened Tuesday the 20th. They promised me they would that treat the 21st or 22nd (I have this all in writing). I ve followed up tons of times since then and still no service. It s the 26th. The army worms have destroyed double the amount of expensive turf since the 22nd which was when the treatment was supposed to be applied (at the latest). I need to have my lawn repaired from the additional damage caused by the lie I was told. What type of company tells customer to pay for an additional upgrade in order to get a faster service?! Then never does the service causing additional damage?? See texts for proof.

After just having two girls walk through the neighborhood, upsetting several neighbors . They came to my door. They have ignored no soliciting signs at the entrance of the neighborhood, and also, at the front doors of neighbors. They refused to give me their names, but quickly called their manager, Dominic. I spoke with him, and he said he would talk to the girls, but they had a peddlers license to operate in Indian Trail.

This is the fifth year I have had a contract with TruGreen for lawn care, shrubs and trees, and mosquito control services. They do an excellent job and are willing to listen to my suggestions.

We have had repeated issues with this service. They promised to send a manager to walk our property and sent a tech who never even got out of the truck and then we got a message saying our free service was completed. We are on the phone with them multiple times between services and nothing gets done. We are waiting to see if they send out management today or we will be asking for a refund. Do yourself a favor and look for a small, personalized local business

Kajuawn is the best. He has our lawn looking amazing and is always professional and really nice. We actually had a small issue with another specialist and were going to cancel our services but stayed because of him and how he turned the situation around. We would recommend TruGreen and highly recommend Kajuawn.

Very disappointed. I had Trugreen several years ago and they were great. The Indian Trail NC location has been anything but great. Lawn looks worse right now than when we started, and when I called about a vole problem in my yard, they never sent anyone out despite saying someone would be out in 3 days.

TruScam. Signed up for 8 services of spraying my yard. My understanding was that it would be once a month over the next 8 months at $68 per month. Nope. Came out with in 3 days of each other and charged me $68 each time.

Covered the whole lawn front and back. Talked to me about what he found and that the spray would take care of the issue. Knew his stuff, and was kind and friendly.

Jeremiah M came and worked on our lawn and he did a wonderful job. He explained the organic treatment that we had asked for to be used on our lawn. He helped us understand what we need to do in order to get grass to grow in areas that we were having trouble. He was kind and respectful and very knowledgeable.

Service so far is fine , but not as good as I had hoped.

Matt was an outstanding technician. When it comes to my yard, I am overly picky. He has done an amazing job on the service recovery he performed, and for that I cannot thank him enough. Tru green is the worst company ever and it killed my lawn would not recommend it to nobody

I started using Trugreen at the beginning of this season and was expecting the grass to look green but not this brown. They have performed several treatments including lime, pre emergent, weed control and more. So far the lawn is just getting brown. Just test the soil to see what it needs! Additional services performed today October 2nd to control insects on plants and shrubs. Shannon did an excellent job. Just waiting now to see the effectiveness. Shannon performed fertilization of shrubs and trees. Great job by him

One word describe the experience is True Cheaters. Recently I enrolled for service. Representative said that it will be 8 service and then i enrolled for this year . When i logged to their portal it showed 7 services and then I called two representative for couple of days . Then representative said they will update by today but stills it in 7 service. TruGreen representative is not honest with their words . I wanted to give zero stars. Please stop cheating customers. I have customer service 2 times for cancellation and credit amount back . They said they have cancelled service and I will get get my money but my amount is not reimbursed . I want to my full money back.

Read all these reviews 1 *. They are spot on. You cant get a hold of your local company. I have had them for years. Every year I have had to have them come back to do the aeration. One year they hung a thank you on my door. I looked on my camera they only did 3 swipes. The management dont care at all! I have called asked for Brad to call me back he doesnt. This fall I had a lady come out to sell me there shrub and tree application. I was like why would I want to pay for something else when you guys cant get what I do pay for right. She tells me she will fix my yard. She noticed I had weeds and a lot of weeds considering how long I have had the service. I had a manager come out last year to make up excuses to why. She said I need extra preemergent. Wow, someone actually has an idea and a plan to fix my yard. This should of been done years ago. I dont recommend this company at all. They need new management that actually care. Then maybe might turn it around. However I think this goes all the way to corporate. I called complained the other day. Was promised a call from Brads district manager. Well, guess what two days later no return call. Got a call from Brad. He scheduled to come out yesterday 1pm. He never called or showed up. He only called after I left review. He doesn t care. Angelia on the other hand needs his job. She cares and I believe would turn the location around. UPDATE I HAVE CANCELLED MY SERVICE WITH THEM. THEY YET AGAIN COME THERE PEOPLE DONT DO THE JOB. MY SON CAUGHT THEM. IF HE HADNT I WOULD HAVE NOT GOT WHAT I PAID FOR. THIS IS HOW TRUEGREEN IS. THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE STINKS!! I SHOULD HAVE CANCELED YEARS AGO. GO ELSE WHERE. 1/25/2024 UPDATE: This is my yard with 8yrs of service. I will attach pictures. They wanted me to come back. Offered me $6.00 off. lol. I said no then they came back with a better price but raised the aeration price to off set. Saying it is a guarentee come back how every many times as needed. That is what they did before. They just moving the numbers around. GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE!

This service has been horrible. Technicians have been sent to my house for re service after re service and there are still weeds in my lawn. The local branch will never call you back to address your concerns and the customer support line gives excuses for everything. I did a yearly service and have had to call back 20+ times due to the service not working.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND SERVICE - Similar to the other reviews the service did not improve my lawn. Customer service basically ignores what you are saying and is very deceptive trying to keep you from cancelling. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY YOU WILL TOTALLY REGRET IT!

I wish I had the option of Did you choose not to use this business and they still treat your lawn? For the 3rd time in two years, Ive had this branchs team confuse my house/address with my neighbors. Ill give them that my address is 7223 and the neighbors is 7233, but the description on my neighbors account says fenced in yard. beware of dog, which they have. My house? no fenced in yard. No outside dog. On top of that, neighbors yard is full fescue. Mine is full Bermuda. How a lawn companys staff cannot recognize that the types of grass should be a warning. Ive reached out to them the two times before and NEVER got a response from the local office and finally resorted to contacting the national office of TruGreen, who apologizes profusely and says they will contact the local franchise, which apparently does nothing. This latest time? I came home to them treating my yard and had the tech argue with me this was the address on the account to which I pointed out that it wasnt (my service is with a different company entirely). So no, I dont want to use this business - they just keep violating my wishes and doing so!

The marketing folks from Trugreen who visit homes and ask for signing up to maintain lawns really fool people with false promise. They told me that they will apply Bermuda seeding in the patches on my lawn and got me signed. Later I came to know that they do not have any Bermuda seeing in their company. They themselves are giving knowledge on how they can improve the lawn which they couldnt do it in the last one year. Please dont get fooled.

Vincent C was my lawn care agent on my last visit and he took the time to help educate me on the importance of warm weather grass pre-emergent treatments. He assured me that Trugreen would make my lawn the best it could be! He was extremely helpful, patient and professional!

Mr Shane performed yard mosquito control and was very friendly, and professional. He covered front and back yard. Im very happy with the service.

If you enjoy being disrespected and mocked by a sales rep, this is the place for you! Assuming this isn t what you expect from a service provider, do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere! Sales rep basically tries to bully you into accepting their terms and acts like I m being ridiculous for having questions. Literally mocked me before ending the call. I d be embarrassed to have this person represent my business.

Beware that some technicians dont do their job properly and barely spray around the yard leaving big spots unattended. If you are not available during the day to supervise their work I would suggest you hire another company.

The tech today Michael S., was excellent. He knocked on the door to understand what the issue was, apologized for the previous inconvenience and took care of the service in the rain. All this, with a new hire in training with him. With this kind of customer service the new hire will definitely be off to a good start with the company.

The specialist never showed up for the service and I got an email saying service was completed. I was at home and I also have a security camera all around my property and I checked all and no one was there. I was tracking their arrival and I saw they were on their way late afternoon but the specialist claimed that he did the job early morning. Find a better excuse to steal money, most people have cameras these days, this old tactic wont work!

Checked the yard to make sure everything is ready for seeding.

I have been a Trugreen customer for 13 years in 2 states and 3 homes and I have always received great service. Shannon Pruitt came out today and applied an insecticide, miticide and fungicide to my trees and bushes. He explained why the application was important and answered the couple of questions I had. As long as I own a home Ill be a Trugreen customer.

Worse customer service. Talked to this guy even over the phone when he arrived while my wife was there to watch from home. This was an aeration and overseeding re-service. The last guy did a great job and I left him a 5 star review, it was just way to early in the year for fescue seed to take. I spoke to the rep today and specifically said to please aerate front side and back yards and to seed as the previous seed never took. Notes in account as well. From time of arrival to departure, 10 minutes. Evidence of aeration, one side of the home, 1/5 of lot. Evidence of seeding, 1/100 of lot (did your machine run out of gas? Did you run out of seed?). I hate wasting my time writing reviews but for 4k PIF up front and 1 good service out of many so far, I had to express something. My wife watched the pathetic treatment of the yard the entire ten minutes this Fredrick guy was here. I called him after he left to make sure he serviced the entire yard like I very specifically and clearly asked him to, left voicemail. Then his phone was off the rest of the day so I couldnt leave any follow up voicemails asking for his input before posting this review. Never called me back. Horrible service. Techs name was Frederick. Absolutely horrible. I live on a 1.1 acre lot too.

Don t even bother with the mosquito service, have to reapply and it still doesn t work. Lawn care was initially good but then became poor. I used them two years in a row.

Not a happy customer after 6 months. When I was able to take of my lawn I had it looking green and healthy . Trugreen is not the cheapest lawn service but the way my lawn looks sure is not Professional work.

Update: Due to MY efforts of being relentless in getting some kind of service... I called the CEO and finally got the local manager to call. He was very pleasant and did the service that was supposed to have been done himself. I hope this is the start of better service... jury is still out, but fingers crossed. Just a big disappointment that I had to go to the CEO to get what I paid for. We just started with Tru Green and we are thus far not satisfied at all with the horrific customer service. They dont call or text the day before so you can secure your dogs. They dont do the service that the 800 customer service people say they will. You cant get anyone live at the actual Indian Trail location. I am canceling if someone of authority doesnt reach out to us.

They dont finish the complete lawn which is in the agreement. They are in the property for 2 min. They spill all the fertilizer on the driveway. Customer service is a joke. They say a supervisor will call but you will never hear from them. Trying to get my money back

We have been customers for years, however, this year in particular, we have had poor service. Our first aeration and seeding that was completed was not the entire lawn and there was little to no seed. They ripped up parts of the lawn and did not do parts of the back and front. We called for a reseed and aeration, which they scheduled, however, left an email stating that they completed the job. The job was never completed!! My husband was home and no one came to the home. Called again to have another reseed and aeration scheduled and now it is rescheduled for next week. I cannot trust this company will even do what it says they are doing. We pay a lot of money, and expect for you at least be honest and do a thorough job.

Very professional and answered all the questions I had about keeping my yard up to speed. This is such a good value on the service and what they bring to the table.

Just started the service and they have only did fertilizer and weed kill. Hopefully they get the aeration and over seed done soon.

They did an excellent job. They took the time to get all areas on our lawn, listened to any concerns we had and addressed them. Then they explained how we should maintain the yard.

Have been a customer for a couple of years with no issues. A month ago they came out to aerate and reseed my lawn, and whoever did the work damaged my yard in a number of places. I figured a couple of phone calls would likely get it resolved, but no, were still going. It took me two weeks to get someone from the local branch to call me. When you contact TruGreen, you are routed to a helpdesk that has the ability to take messages and promise phone calls and nothing else. They cannot reach out themselves, they cant or wont escalate the issue when you are unhappy, and beyond promising youll get a call within 24-48 hours, they have no ability to help. Ive called so many times in the last month I can read their script back to them. When I had the manager out to my house, he agreed they did a poor job, that hed return and fix the damage and make sure I was taken care of. He furthermore promised that the local number he gave me was his personal line and hed respond to calls or texts. The repairs were shoddy, and when I called him to ask him to return, it appears he lied as texts go unanswered and the phone number routes me back to the help desk. Were at a week since the repairs were done, and all I can get is a promise someone will call me in 24-48 hours. Avoid this company. They just dont care.

Great service, when I had some clover pop up they sent a rep out to take care of it. He chatted with me about my concerns and then treated my yard to take care of it. Reminded me why I am still with TruGreen after 5 years.

These people are toxic

The worst company! For over a year I have given them every chance to make things right. With cameras all over my home, they say they come and do an application and just sit in their truck and then leave without performing any work, or other times they will do a 4ft section of just a side yard and then leave, I had a message just yesterday saying they were on their way, then at my residence and then performed and left my residence all with the exact same minute time stamp on them. No one even came past my house(remember I said I have cameras, which they have on all their invoices as well, so they know this too)and then got a bill. This company is not to be trusted! I feel very sorry for people who pay for their services and don t have the advantages of cameras to see that they are being charged for work not done. The worst part is, I have made this issue known to them over 10 times now. Each time they say they will give me another application and make it right. They don t. Please don t let this company take your money for work they don t do.

Great service always notifies us in advance of them coming to service the yard. Our associate Shannon is so friendly and helpful. If we have any questions or concerns, he is able to address them right away. Any phone call to TruGreen results in immediate response. We have used TruGreen for the past two years and our trees and shrubs look great!

Dont ever call these people and inquire about services. Because they wont stop harassing you by phone. They call you about 5 and 6 times a day and wont stop when you tell them you are not interested. Even if I ever would decide I need services like theirs I would NOT contact them just from the lack of professionalism due to spamming and continuous calls after I have told them SEVERAL TIMES to STOP!!!!!!!

My concern is regarding honesty and integrity. When you sign a contract and pay, you expect the company to perform the service, not lie. When I started with TruGreen they were partially treating my lawn. After several challenges with TruGreen and call backs their service got better. Their service started declining again in May of 2021 and continued through the Fall 2021. I learned that their techs were only treating my front and side yard. I asked why flags were not being left on the treated area or treatment receipts. I was told the technicians should have left them. First red flag. I am supposed to receive a call prior to service because my backyard is locked. I was away due to the illness and death of my brother May-July 2021. When I attempted to reschedule treatment with TruGreen for my backyard. They told me that my backyard was treated. I reminded them that my backyard was locked and couldnt be accessed. They continued to bill me and tell me that my backyard was treated. I canceled my contract in October 2021, the last month. Be informed that I told Truegreen that I have cameras and could prove that their techs did not service my backyard. By October my backyard was covered with weeds the front yard was perfect. The backyard looks as though it was never serviced now. It is March 2022 and front yard is still weed free. The backyard is another story. TruGreen continued to argue that they treated my backyard in June, July, August, September, and October of 2021. I received three quotes from lawn companies this week, March 2022. All three companies have confirmed that the backyard has not been treated for weeds in an extremely long time due to the overwhelming presence of weeds.

This company don t perform lawn services on time; extremely poor customer support and charges for unperformed services. My spring weed control still not completed and worst part is that still no action despite calling them several time and wasting multiple hours pleading for the service.

Twice this year I paid for a service than never happened. Once the tech showed up for 2 minutes, drove away, and the only service I received was a bill. Just yesterday, I had a seeding and aeration scheduled and you guys serviced my neighbors yard. I wish I could trust you guys but I keep having to call to get the original service completed. I hate having to check my cameras to verify services are actually complete. Edit: it happened again. Twice now, technician shows up, sits in vehicle for a few minutes, and left. Absolute THEFT!!! (3-28-22).

We had an issue with our camellias and we re promised a visit. No one responded and several weeks went by. Only after that someone called and then sent someone out. We were not aware the plants were not being fertilized. We assumed we were getting complete tree and shrub service. They were spraying for insects. Only. They should have noticed what we noticed about the plants and suggested fertilization.

We had a specialist named Martin Butler recently and he was great! Did a great job and really nice guy ! Sadly you don t get good customer service like him anymore!

Our yard has turned from brown and patchy to beautifully green! The cost of TruGreens services (aerate, seed, feed) is less than what we spent trying to do it ourselves and the results are better!

Far too many issues with customer service/billing to type. Use ChemLawn or do it yourself before using TrueGreen

Tree and shrub service performed

TERRIBLE! TruGreen service is the worst ever. Being a past customer at a previous residence their service was much better. Now their service SUCKS. I have so many weeds in my lawn its ridiculous. I made an appt with a manger at 11:30 am he didnt show up until 1:30 and act like he was doing me a favor by being here. They dont keep service appts and their system will somehow drop your service appt and wont notify you of the change. DO NOT USE TRUGREEN! TO say it is disappointing for the service I received and I pre-paid my services is an understatement! JUST TERRIBLE!

Aerated yard without contract or permission damaged two water hoses that I had running to my garden.it took four phone calls to customer service to get someone to call me back to try to figure out why they where on my property in the first place still dont have that answer but waiting on a check to replace my hoses will see if that happens

All I want to do is speak to my local branch delivering the service. The call center people will not help with that. They repeat info I already know like I don t understand. How do I speak to local branch? Very frustrated. Waiting for my first service which I am excited about, but on the verge of cancelling service due to rude call center experiences.

Watch for them when they say they are coming. They come and don t do the service yet hang something on the door that says they did. This has happened twice to us.

I inquired about their lawn service online. I got a call from a sales rep that sounded like he was having a bad or just woke up (call was at 2:15 in the afternoon on a Friday). Tried to sell me the package, when I asked questions about what I was seeing on line, what my lawn condition was and where I wanted to to be, he would say I just said that, I just told you that and he didnt. He was reading from a script and I could tell. When I told him I was just gathering information before making a decision he tried to get me to sign by lowering the first visit to $44. When I again stated I wanted to get more information before making my choice, he said with a humpf, Alright, well I just emailed everything to you, call us back if you want the service. I responded with Thank you, thanks for calling me today. and then crickets, just hung up without a youre welcome, have a nice day any sliver of customer service. He sounded annoyed that he had to be on the phone with me. Maybe most people will use them just because of their name but when a potential customer has questions and the sales rep sounds annoyed and cant even say youre welcome....Im not giving my money to a company that handles potential customers like theyre an annoying fly that is bothering them. I will never recommend this company to my anyone and Ill be sure to spread my experience to anyone who asks about them.

We just had a representative from trugreen come to our door to sell its service. We always have a provider and the representative was extremely rude and I needed to ask him to leave my property. We have a nice yard and he refused to stop critiquing and just leave my home (where he was not invited). Will never use TruGreen.

My technicians are friendly and do what is needed

Purchased our home a year ago. Had pretty green grass. Sought to keep it that way. Hired trugreen in September. Couple services in and over half of my yard died. They did an over seed in October with no results. Did another is November with zero results. I ve been trying for almost 3 weeks to get seed put down on my muddy mess of a yard. Had a technician tell me it was grubs and showed me a hand full of snail shells. Was promised a same day phone call from the general manager from his manager. Called the next day to inquire about my non-existent same day call. Took 3 days and several follow up calls on my part. He promised to come out himself to look at the yard. He sent someone else instead. This person did not know a thing about the problems but I was promised a rush on aeration and over seed in an attempt to fix things. 3 days later and no call, no notification of scheduling. Deal with an hour wait to talk to someone who says that the work order was placed but there was no telling when the job would be scheduled. She sends the work order and an expedite notice...TO THE SAME BRANCH WHO PUT THE ORDER IN!!! Now I m waiting patiently for a 24 hr call back window from the same manager who couldn t call back in a specified time frame or come out after saying he would. I honestly cannot believe how this has gone. I have tried to keep the trugreen sign in my yard just so people know who not to use. I would hate for someone else in my neighborhood to use them and end up with the same problems we have.

Set up an account. Needed to change the date for the 1st service. Was on hold 1hr 35min. Read some of the horrible reviews and decided to cancel my service before they stated. 2hrs 22min. On hold. No thanks. Plenty of other highly rated service providers in the area. Give your business to a small locally owned company.

They do not answer the phone and do not provide service on scheduled date. They tell you they are coming next day and just don t show - up. No phone call, no apology, just the absolute worse customer service you can imagine. The shame is their products actually work well but their service is horrendous and they don t care at all about the customer!

Its been over two weeks since requesting a quote via online. Local office has still never contacted me.

I have had nothing but trouble with this company. From leaving residue on my house and fence, to skipping services due to my dog being out, while we were home. Did not knock to let us know, could have been corrected in a matter of seconds. Yard isnt looking any better than when I was doing it myself...Will not be renewing next season, probably canceling this season. Worthless!!!!

Ive had seven treatments and still have as many weeds in my lawn as before they started treating it. It is greener than before. Im not very impressed. Especially considering how much it cost.

Been waiting six weeks for a refund for all I have paid TruGreen this year. Refund was promised me by a supervisor who came to my home and agreed with me that due to damages in my yard caused by their application I would be refunded money paid up to that point. Burned places were visible all over my yard.

Greetings - see images of my lawn. No urgency to come to my property to look at the lawn. Specialist didn t show up and didn t call. Supposed to come tomorrow. I raised these issues end of July (view your phone records). Browning grass and virginia buttonweed. My lawn is ruined. Currently serviced by trugreen. I had to bring another company in to tell me what s wrong Army worms. Showed me proof and moths all over. Regardless, I will be canceling my service with Trugreen and expect refund and lawn to be reseeded at no charge. Look at photo shows lawn with trugreen (brown) and lawn without (green). Thinking company should change name to TruBrown. Would definitely not recommend to anyone. Just look at photos. Amazingly bad.

I have been using TruGreen for the past 3 years and had to pull the plug today. I received a text from the technician at 11:41 indicating he had arrived to start application. I received a text at 11:42 indicating they had applied a dry spread fertilizer to the entire yard? I was home and there was no attempt to apply fertilizer. Additionally, when TruGreen applies fertilizer they get the fertilizer all over the driveway and sidewalks and there was zero indication of fertilizer pellets on the sidewalks, let alone the yard where it should be located. They even put a service description on the front door trying to sell the lie about the application service. This is the second time I caught them lying about the application and they were fired today! Highly do not recommend using TruGreen!

I agree with others who say great product, horrible company. Customer service is atrocious. Weve had TruGreen for almost a decade. Love the way our lawn looks, but we always have to hound them to not seed in August when its still close to 100 degrees. We are finally done after a billing mishap. They are supposed to charge my credit card automatically which they usually do. They somehow dont charge my card, and I get a collection notice. Customer service told me they never even tried to charge it and they never gave me any AR calls, so its their fault and a manager would contact me and forgive the debt (since their fault). I cannot get anyone to call me back, give me a manager name/info, etc. They just dont care about a good customer.

Used their services over a year. Our lawn didn t look any better. During Quarantine I receive notice of service has been performed. There was no signage left or nor did I see them. I question if I was getting any services during my 1 year with them.

On 4/30/20 I had an aeration service that was performed. After the service was performed there were quite a few spots in my yard with tire tracks, and there were several spots with the grass has been dug up and now it s just a pile of dirt. also there was a bunch of mud left on the sidewalk that was not cleaned up. It s been a week and one day with no solution.

Paid for a year in advance for the price break and never received my lawn seeding. I did not want auto renew and now I have a charge that hit my account and it has not yet been a year. After 9 months of service and discussing my lawn issues in great detail upfront my lawn is about 50% better. Could have received the same results myself for 1/3 of the cost.

I just signed up for my TRUGREEN Service 2 weeks ago. My first service was scheduled for yesterday while I was home. No technician showed that I noticed and my security doorbell camera never recorded a TRUGREEN Truck stop ore even pass my house. After my service window I received a text with my treatment details. No flag in my yard was left and my yard was not wet or did not smell like my grass had been treated. Dont be fooled, get proof this company is actually performing the service on your lawn. I called and cancelled when I saw the bill come through my bank account today. Ill go back to taking care of my own lawn, thanks. At least I know the work will get done. Absolutely Horrible. Oh and the gentleman who cancelled my account could have cared less of my situation. Guess it is normal for them to receive these cancellation calls.

For one year, they did great. Our yard was the best its ever been, then one frightful rainy day in May, they fertilized. Standing water. Our grass is brown. No local numbers available? 800 only? 3 day wait and STILL no call. This wont help sell our home this year...Bad on yall.

After 7 months of treatment my lawn actually looked worse than it did 7 months ago. They started out by treating for the wrong type of grass. They didnt do an initial walk through, they just started treating. had more weeds this year than last year. Theyre 100% satisfaction guarantee is bogus. I started complaining back in August and so they sent a manager out and he told me that they were treating for the wrong grass. They also told me the weeds I have needed to be treated sooner than when the service started and that still wouldnt have guaranteed that they would have been able to treat for it. If I knew that, I would not have paid for the service. I asked for them to either start over with the treatments or give me a full refund. The manager said he would have to talk to his boss to see what they could do. I talked to him once more after that and had to reiterate that what I wanted. I never heard back from them again. Oh but they kept sending people out to finish the treatments. Probably so they could say that they did what they were supposed to. Stay away from this company. It is not worth the $700+ you have to pay. Reply to owner: I already contacted customer service. Hence the complaints I wrote about in the review. This goes to show the lack of effort this company has. They have my full name, (last name not common) so they can find my information and reach out to me. Yet they respond with a statement about making it better. They had their chance, and blew it. Not once, not twice, but 3 times now. Update: I reached out to trugreen using the email from the cookie cutter reply to owner below and I received another cookie cutter auto response in my email. That was six years ago and they still haven t reached out to me. Update 2: here is a before and after picture of TruGreen and my DIY project. This should convince you that TruGreen is a Truly Garbage service.

My lawn looks worse now than it has in the past 5+ years. Ive been with TruGreen for 4 years and no problems until this year. Customer service and local branch manager have been worthless. I would definitely not recommend their service and would find someone that actually cares about their customers

do not use this service..they offer a guarantee for tree and shrub maintenance however they do not honor it. they can not schedule consistently as requested per original agreement /they repeatedly miss identification of infections and parasites... i have had service for years and struggled over and over with this indian trail trugreen. management . unreliable , uncooperative , unprofessional.. i have lost repeatedly shrubs and now in the past 2 months 6 trees dead and i had to remove .. now las of this month i have a new infection black mold so obvious the trees are black with the the fungal excrement and they did not notify me i notified them after they have been out here on an ongoing basis.. i can not get a supervisor of arborist to call me back to discuss if they can be saved or not.. i should have terminated them a year ago but believed i could work through it with their managers but the same issues keep occurring.. ABSOLUTELY WORST service to date .. i have used trugreen for over 35 years in other properties and never had any of these extreme problems.
