Architerra Inc in Indian Creek

I had the same experience as another reviewer did regarding higher bills than the estimates provided. For example, they would estimate a job as $800-$1000 and the final bill would be ~$1400. It also took them almost two months to send the invoice for some jobs, so I continued to do business with them before I knew (accruing additional higher-than-estimated bills) which was particularly frustrating. Partly my fault for not getting a signed contract, but that's not something I've ever had to do before or since with any landscape company for relatively small jobs (cleanups, planting, tree removal, etc). If you end up hiring them I suggest you get everything written down and signed before any work starts.

They seem like a good value low price option, but that is so they can bill you for extras. They dont communicate well, do minimal work and act like they never do anything wrong. I would not recommend them for any work. We are glad to part ways with them.

We had erosion problems on the side of our property. We were losing our yard in the ravine next to our property. Ron came up with a great solution. Rosindo and his crew came in and put up a beautiful wall of boulders. I was so pleased with the way they looked we added another wall of boulders on the inside of the yard so I can admire them. They are so beautiful! We have had so much work done by them and everything is perfect. They take great pride in their work and it shows!

We have used Architerra for years at our Libertyville office for snow removal and they have done such a great job repeatedly that we wouldn't even THINK about using anyone else!

Since I switched to the full service landscape company about three years ago I have had more time to enjoy my yard. First Architerra provided a landscape plan to freshen up my tired overgrown evergreen beds. My yard now sparkles with native plants: grasses, flowers, and more. The beds were resized to be more inviting to look at. Each Spring Architerra cleans up the plant beds and provides fresh mulch. Over the growing season they apply grass weed and feed applications up and spray my fruit trees both on a timely basis. When the trees need pruning Architerra does it. Switching to a full service landscape provider has been worth it. It has saved me time and given me a beautiful landscape to enjoy!
