Ray has taken great care of my lawn and today added snow removal. I had gotten my car stuck in the driveway. Ray and his team got me unstuck then finished the job.
Ray was absolutely amazing for us. He came, quoted us, and had the job done within 2 days. Our lawn was a mess and we were so discouraged. He truly changed everything for us and got us out of a rut. Great customer service between him and his wife and AMAZING work done by him and his guys. Our lawn looks unbelievable. We bought the house 3 months ago and had no idea what we were dealing with and it was much more than we could do ourselves. They cleaned up all the sticks and trash and stones. They also cut down weeds that were hip high all over the property. We will always call Ray for future help and 100% recommend to anyone looking for great service and work!
I recently moved into a house where the yard was more leaves than grass. I decided to call in a professional to get the yard back to a more manageable condition. When I called Ray and Suzanne were very professional and accommodate to my schedule. The work they did was outstanding and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality lawn services at a reasonable price.
One wouldn't expect to hear the words "I was blown away!" regarding lawn service, but I was blown away! Really happy with the service from Ray's. From my first call for an estimate to each subsequent mow, Ray and his team have treated my lawn professionally, promptly, and affordably. The team also takes care of the little extras such as weed eating mulch beds and anything that may have sprouted in a driveway crack. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Ray's Lawn Service to anyone.
My husband and I are looking for a reliable, responsive, PROFESSIONAL lawn company.. he’s contacted Ray’s located in Independence, which is where we are located. My husband tells me they might be coming by to look at the lawn. I was home all day, no one showed up. He contacts them again. The lady he spoke with, says they came by (which they did not). She says they are not able to mow our lawn without giving us a valid reason why they couldn’t. My husband asked why, she says they just couldn’t. Very unprofessional. I don’t recommend to anyone.
We have used Ray for years, and now Ray has helped my parents out when my dad had to have emergency heart surgery. They were great for weekly mowing and now leaf pick up. They did a great job, professional and on time! Thanks Ray and team for always doing a great job!
Update: We have used Ray's Lawn mowing multiple times for fall and spring cleans ups. Every time his team does and exceptional job. They are clear communicators and go above and beyond to ensure the job is done right! Ray and his team did an incredible job on our yard! Due to unforeseen circumstances we were unable to do our usual fall clean up this year, so we hired them to do a much needed spring clean up. They did an amazing job cleaning our fence line and took away our brush pile and leaves. I would highly recommend Ray and his team to anyone who is in need of yard maintenance.
I was so very happy to have found Ray and Crew last year! I have not one bad thing to say about the people or the service! They listen to you if you have a request and follow through. Ray and Crew do my lawn mowing/weeding and Spring and Fall cleanups for me. Wow...so lucky to have this nice, efficient, timely service... all for a fair price! I have had many a lawn crew over the years that I can not say the same about! Ray and Crew are keepers! Check them out!

Work was excellent. I got a text the day before saying they were coming. And very friendly.
Mowers lied and stated they came to the door about dog being outside. I ve been home, no one came to the door. I called and they stated we have a do not come to door note. Why? We surely didn t ask for that. They came and did a five minute job. Mind you, when they do come they do a poor job at weed eating. I guess they think nobody is home so it doesn t matter. But we are. Lady was rude on the phone, terminated our service so I surely returned the rudeness. There s plenty better options in the area. Pick someone else. The owner decided to call my husband very rudely and upset because I left a review on the business. Again, pick someone else.
Have had nothing but good experiences with Ray. A company you can really count on!
Ray and his crew have been taking care of our yard for several years now and they never disappoint. They are always here at the scheduled time and they communicate very well. I would recommend them to everyone!
These guys do a wonderful job. If theres a delay due to rain, theyll let you know when they can get to you. We have them do the fall/spring clean ups as well. Youll get a text when theyve completed service, and a link to pay them...its easy peasy....
Broke my leg last year and wasnt able to maintain my property. I set up a meeting time, explaining my demise. They were right there for me every time I needed help, they did their best to accommodate me and my husband during those difficult times of the pandemic! Thank you, Rays!
Ray and his crew have been mowing and maintaining my property since 2018. They are very reliable and professional, fast and efficient. The pricing is fair and I have been more than happy with their service.
Extremely responsive. I literally just texted the number I found on google and he responded right away. These guys got all of my leaves in my front and side yard. I hired a different company last year and they left a few leaves here and there. Not Ray s, every single leaf was picked up. Great work, great communication, and very honest people.

I called Ray to do some yard cleanup, mowing and sod installation. He and his crew did a great job. Im very particular about the way my yard looks, and Rays is the only lawn service that offered to push mow and bag the yard. I will definitely continue to use him.

Ray was at my house within 15 min. of when I called. I found him on Google and hired him on the spot. He was out 2 days later with his crew. He did hedge trimming, leaf blowing and vacuuming and brush pickup. Yard looks great and his pricing is fair. Thanks, Ray and crew!

My first experience was I called Ray last minute 2 weeks ago on a Thursday asking if he could come out the next day before the rain came because our lawn mower broke and he was out the next day. He also responds right away. I had him come out again this morning. Very happy with his service.

I called Ray in desperation as my business plot had become completely unkempt. It was a big job of mowing & weeding. They got right to it, working on the street view first, making their way to the remainder of the 7 acres. Ray is pleasant and easy to communicate with. They did a great job! Ray and his team did a fabulous job cleaning up a piece of property that I recently acquired. The yard looked like it hadnt been mowed in God knows how long with lots of overgrown weeds and shrubs, but he and his team were able to get in there and get the job done in a matter of only a few short hours. What a great team Ray has, they were quick, efficient personable and with a great sense of humor. They were able to get the job done of prunning shrubs and trees, raking up leaves and hauling off the debris within my price budget. I highly recommend them you will not be disappointed.
We love that wr found Ray! Its so nice coming home to a perfectly manicured lawn! They are in and out, plus very flexible on scheduling! He always gets right back to when i leave a message, and he goes out of his way to make sure we got one last mow before the end of the season!
Ray has been doing our yard for 6 years now. Never lets it get 2 tall bout every 2 weeks. Not counting rain. Affordable for sure. Seen one of the bigger crews mowing at a neighbor house one time. Just curious i asked for a quote and it was $20 more than Ray. Friendly and honest. If you ask for a service he dont do. He will recommend someone who has reasonable rates as well. Our yard needed seed when we moved in. We called around and priced checked from phone book. And called his recommendation. And he turned out to be best price as well. Offers Clean up leaves of leaves in the fall Has done our gutters a few times. This year he got a snow plow and came did our driveway. Both times it has snowed. And understands money is tight for lots of people. Offers what you need without breaking your pocket book. I think when he first mowed for us he was driving around looking for people who could use his service. Was a happy accident all the way around.
This was our first year with Ray and we simply could not do without him and his awesome crew! Always dependable, on time and really affordable! He always stays in contact and lets us know if any change in his schedule will affect us. You cant go wrong with Ray if you need someone to take care of your lawn. If he ever tries to leave us, we will hunt him down! :-) Ray Rocks!!!
Been using Rays service for a year and couldnt be more pleased. My lawn always looks great. He always returns my calls and didnt seem to mind if I had special request during gardening season. Reasonable pricing, friendly service and has taken the hassle out of having a large yard. I hadnt realized that they also do snow removal -- but the very first snow I got a call offering the service if I needed it -- which was such a relief to know. I would recommend Rays to anyone looking for a great lawn service.
