I used them due to word of mouth from a friend. They did a great job of removing the dead Ash tree we had. We had them remove the stump and leave the mulch behind so i could use it in other flower beds. They were on time and got the whole job done, including cleanup in 4hrs. We would recommend them and use them again if needed.

I needed some tree trimming done. G and G was booked out for months but said they may be able to squeeze me in. They called me a few days later and arrived to do the trimming soon after the call. They were professional, thorough, and tidy. Great service!

They showed up at 8 am removed my tree, ground up the stump, filled up the hole, seeded, and we re gone before 3. Good job guys.

I have 4 huge Pin Oak trees. I needed them trimmed, dead wooded and raised off my roof and my backyard-neighbors roof. This included removing and re-installing a portion of my fence so they could get the man-lift where they needed it. It rained the day before, so the ground was still wet/muddy. They put down large mats for the man-lift to drive on so it didnt make ruts in the yard. Roy and his crew did all this for the price he originally quoted and on the day he scheduled. And they did a great job cleaning up afterwards.

Used G and G Tree Services for removing a large Maple tree. The company arrived shortly after 8:00 a.m. and they were finished before noon. They completed the stump removal by 1:30 p.m.. Outstanding job, they worked efficiently and quickly and cleaned up completely. Will use their services again, if I have the need.

Great service. I called at 9:30 am because a tree had fallen on my fence. Roy was at my house at 1pm and gave me a quote and they were back at 4pm to remove the tree. I would highly recommend them!

I contacted them back in May when I was purchasing a house, Roy came out and was very prompt about getting me a quote to remove some hazardous trees. They were a few weeks backed up, which is completely understandable and after the service they performed yesterday, I can see why. They were very clean and professional! They even blew off the front porch and driveway before leaving and no damage was done to the house or property where the tree was hanging over in several spots. They also proved they were fully insured and that was great peace of mind. I will gladly be using them in the future and would recommend them to anyone!

This company was awesome! Roy came out to give me the estimate the morning after I called and they removed the two elm trees the next morning. Fifth time we used G&G confirmed they are a great resource for lawn n tree services. They cut down a large pine tree n a bush that we re in a gravel area. When they were done, there was no evidence that the tree n bush had even been there. No wood chips in a gravel bed?!? Impressive! Roy won t waste your money either. I consulted w him to figure out how to minimize a water retention area which is a good breeding ground for mosquitoes. Roy offered an option G&G could do but also gave me an option to handle the problem on my own. Quality company!!

The only good thing that I can say about this company is that it only took them about 2 hours from the time that I initially called to the time that they were able to come to my house for an estimate. After that, it all went downhill. The initial contact was made with this company on May 1, 2019. Roy came over and right away I can tell that he was not interested in my business. He did not introduce himself nor did he offer to shake my hand, like a good business person should in my opinion. I only knew his name because he gave me his business card upon leaving. I have a 70-foot Oak tree that I wanted trimming because I hate that it hangs near the house. It is around electric lines and about 15 feet away from the house. Roy went on to tell me that as an Arborist, he did not feel comfortable trimming the tree and that he recommends that it to be totally removed vs trimming. Roy then went on to say that it would cost in the neighborhood of $9000-$9500 to remove the tree. Now Im no tree expert. Ive never done the work but that did seem ultra high for the work that I needed. Needless to say, Roy left without giving me a written estimate and simply told me to call the office if I wanted the work done. After deliberating on it, I decide to go with G and G simply based on reviews. When I called the office to get a quote on May 3rd, the women who answered the phone stated she did not have an estimate for me and that she was going to contact Roy to see why. I provided her with my name, address, email and phone number and I did not get a call back. Ive since called back 3 separate times on 5/7, 5/8, and 5/10 each time leaving a voicemail and each time getting no response from them. Ive since been in contact with other local tree services 3 others to be exact. The price varied from $2900-$3800 for full removal of the tree with stump grinding. Each company was licensed and carried full insurance. I also asked each company is there any reason why the tree would cost $9000 to take down. They all looked at me dumbfounded and could not believe someone would actually have the nerve to charge that much for the removal of 1 tree. What I m saying is G/G Lawn Care may actually do good work. I will never know. As someone who tried very hard to give them my business, they would not accept it for whatever reasons. (I have my beliefs on why that is.) They may not be use to dealing with African-Americans with the means to pay such as myself but I ll let you make your own conclusions on that. To G/G....Its such a same that people/businesses act like this in 2019. Although my complexion is not the same as yours, my money, just like the leaves on the Oak tree that I wanted work to be done on is green and spends just like yours!

They got the job done in half the time we expected and every member of the crew worked so very hard. The G&G Team was awesome. On March 24, 2018, they removed 3 trees in our yard, ground the stumps, removed 2, sliced the 3rd tree into logs to be split for our fireplace and stacked them for our wood rack. They then cut down and sliced 3 more huge trees in our wooded area. Finally, they trimmed the lower branches on half a dozen 75 trees. Im providing this level of detail to let folks know it was not a small job. The Team was professional, polite, informative and they were all local. When done, they removed all traces of the cut yard trees (save a small pile of sawdust from stump grinding) along with the trimmed branches. My yard was spotless. Although this was the 2nd time weve used G&G, we try to be wise consumers, so we obtained 3 bids to be sure we got the best price. G&G was the lowest and most complete bid. G&G provides a great service at an unbeatable price. I highly recommend them.

Contacted G&G for a quote to have two trees removed which I thought were dead. Roy (the owner) took time to explain to me how to tell if they were dead, and took time to explain and answer all my questions. I did the online request for a quote to get some trees cut behind our lot. Next day I got a call from them and couldn t answer because I was at work. I called and left a voicemail. Didn t get a call back, my husband called them few days later and left a voicemail as well. We never got a call back and it s been a few weeks since..

I have used Roy and his crew in the past to prune and trim trees in my yard. I recently asked for an estimate to remove two of the trees. Today they came as promised and removed those mature trees . I have found the estimates, for smaller jobs as well as this larger one, to be fair and were always honored. The crew is friendly, hard-working, and careful. The areas around the work sites are cleaned up very nicely. I would consider G&G for general landscaping work in the future.

We have used G & G for the removal of two very large trees near the house. They did an amazing job both times. We now have another tree that looks like it is dying, the owner came by the very next day to discuss. He could have easily said you need to take the tree out but said I think you can wait a couple years and enjoy the remaining life of the tree if you want to. They are not out to take advantage of you, just want to do what is right. Now that is great service!

Roy and his team took down a cedar tree on our property line that had grown into the neighbor s power lines to their house. The line was through the thickest part of the of the tree, against the trunk and tangled in the limbs. They got tree down without damaging the lines or our neighbor s property. Took them less than an hour to get the tree down and cleared out!

The little things a company does makes the biggest impact. I had a pile of sticks that I had been gathering up from the season. When they took down my trees, they also picked up that pile of sticks for me. It was such a small gesture but it meant a lot to me. Excellent Job - I received a proposal the same day I called. The bid was written out accompanied with a copy of the companys insurance certificate evidencing workers comp & liability coverage which I didnt have to ask for. They indicated they were scheduled out 7 to 10 days. However, after acceptance of the proposal, they were able to squeeze my small job in the very next morning due to bad weather forecast in the afternoon. They showed up on time and removed 2 - 40 pine trees removed and ground three stumps. The work was completed within 2 hours and every bit of debris was picked up and either run through the chipper or hauled away. They did an excellent job, and they were also somewhat lower than the other bid I received.

The did a great job removing a large tree in our back yard. When they left I did not have to pick up any debris or even leaves, they did a great job cleaning up. Would recommend them to anyone.
