A year ago, they did a fantastic job for the right price. This year, they overcharged (they had too many people doing the job who weren t really busy). and wouldn t guarantee a dry area that should have been fixed in the work that they did. A year later,I asked them to come and fix my sprinkler system but they only came to assess what needed to be done and charged me $225. Since I was without sprinkling ability and had to leave town in a couple of days, I found someone else to do it. For a half hour of work for 2 people which was unnecessary, I think that this was unreasonable. They got back to me and changed their bill to one person which was more reasonable.

These guys are the best in the business! I highly recommend this company. The work they have done for us is always great. They are always on the ball and always have great prices. Do business with them!

The Yard Butler accomplished a task Ive been putting off for years. They removed some overgrown lavender and many tree suckers from a front yard garden bed. They replaced a whole bed of rock with nice soft mulch so it isnt as hard to weed and plant. The workers were polite and efficient. The end result is beautiful. I couldnt be happier!

Had some issues with turning on my sprinkler system this year, Company owner Bradley called and we discussed options and he was more than accommodating to see what solutions could be explored. Bradley Rhoades has helped us for many years and multiple houses, has been very professional and has helped us pick exactly what we have needed. their pest control is amazing, havent seen spiders or bugs in trees since we started using them, and the lawn fertilizer and weed control has made our lawn extremely healthy! I will always recommend them to anyone who is looking for great care!

This company is a joke. Have used them in the past and they have done a horrible job. You do not take the money until you have done the job. These guys take your money before they complete the job. Payed them 80 bucks and then they blew me off for another 2 weeks from the time they were suppose to do their job.

They are very responsive. they call ahead of time to let you know when they are coming. Their customer site is easy to use. And when I call with an issue they are on top of it quickly.

Everyone at the yard butler is awesome! They take great care of our yard. I had an awesome experience with Paul a week or two ago. He was there to spray. He made a point to let me know that they were there for the service and gave me some information. It made me feel safe and comfortable with them around and the services they were performing. All over just a great place to work with.

I m not even a customer yet, but I had a couple questions about difficult spots I was having in my lawn, and the guys took time out of their day to check out my soil for moisture and grubs, and gave me some pointers on keeping my lawn healthy. They didn t have to go out of their way, but they did. All the while they were super friendly, courteous, and professional. I didn t even get their names, but they reflected very well on the company! The Yard Butler is awesome, I cant recommend them enough. Unfortunately, my system was installed by a different company who was very difficult to deal with and incompetent. After having my system for just over a year, it sprung a leak due to improper installation. By the time I realized there was an issue, it had flooded my yard and my surrounding neighborhoods. One of my neighbors had recommended The Yard Butler for weed & insect control so I reached out, hoping they could help even though they didnt install my system. The receptionist was kind and understanding of my panicked state and said that although they were scheduled out a few days, she would get someone out to my property as soon as possible. Within a few hours two gentlemen with can do attitudes showed up and went to work. The timing couldnt have been worse, for I was headed out of town for a few days. They assured me that they would take care of it which allowed me to enjoy my trip. Since I was not present when the repairs occurred, I called the office upon receiving the bill to see what had caused the issue. The manager called me back with a detailed explanation of what caused the problem along with a breakdown of charges. I was very impressed by their professionalism but most importantly their attitude.

Ive known of The Yard Butler for years and I have always heard positive things about the company and their services. The hardscape installations have been always been one of my favorite services because they take the time to construct them properly and beautifully. Plus their hardscape installations arent just limited to paver patios; they have done multiple tiered water features, bocce ball courts, large retaining walls with firepits, etc. With all of the experienced and hard working employees that they have across numerous departments, you will always find knowledgeable and trustworthy people here.

Couldnt or should I say wouldnt make time to accept a couple hundred dollars to literally spend 15 minutes to pick up already cut and ready to haul off tree branches. With lawn service like this, you wont have a lawn to worry about ROFL!

I wish I could write a good review, but I cant. Never showed up for the appointment to give an estimate for yard work/landscaping. Not a phone call, not a text, not an e-mail. Would they show up to do the actual work? Not quite sure anymore... Guys! These are basic customer service skills and respect to customers time - not rocket science.

The Yard Butler provided landscape maintenance for our subdivision HOA and always has done an amazing job and was very prompt to take care of any need that came up. They were very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The Yard Butler did some snow removal for me. The office staff was quick to answer the phone and arranged for the snow to be taken care of promptly. The work was done very well. I am happy to recommend The Yard Butler!

I would try your luck with any of the other companies before these guys. I had a leaky section of pipe replaced this year. I dug up and exposed the pipe myself to keep the process quick. They ran up 3 or 4 hours for what is normally a 15 min job. Service guy started by digging up other parts of the piping and claiming our entire system didnt have necessary back flow equipment, and they would have to do a big project to install one before he would try to fix the sprinklers. I explained the piece he was talking about was just on the other side of the house. Once he stopped wasting time trying to find problems to charge us for, he got to work on the reason we called him. But then he found the piping was stuck to the main line connection. He was unable to get it unstuck and then spent several hours not knowing what to do. He eventually called around for different tools. Luckily Yard Butler did not charge me for the time he was driving looking for tools, just for the hours he spent perplexed by the stuck pipe. Complications happen, but when you are paying $60 an hour, You dont want to be paying for some one not knowing what to do for several hours. Hours later he figured out how to get the piece unstuck, and repaired the pipe in 15 minutes. After being charged several hundred dollars for such a small job, I explained the situation to Yard Butler, and asked if they had sent someone with sufficient experience. They claimed he was the best they had. So I would try your luck with any of the other sprinkler companies. I can tell you Yard Butler has a low bar for staffing, and they all charge the same any way. Additionally, Yard Butler refused to make any exceptions and charged me 3 or 4 times more than the typical price of the repair, so be ready to pay a very large bill if things dont go perfectly.

Very knowledgeable and good prices

They mowed and edged my yard today for the first time and did a great job. I have trouble with high spots due to tree roots and previous companies kept skinning my yard over those high spots. Not one skin spot with these guys. Im thrilled.

I would never choose this company. For the simple fact that they drive very dangerously any time I see them around town.

Yard Butler is Incredible!!! I was riding my motorcycle this year at a local track and had a pretty gnarly accident that left me in a wheelchair for the majority of summer 2019. The account manager for Yard Butler was there that night and witnessed the crash. Out of the kindness of his heart he immediately decided that he would have some of his guys mow and maintain our lawn for free for the summer. Nobody ever asked them to step up and help us out; the company just simply did it and did it in a huge way. There was no way that I could have taken care of our lawn and my wife had to work a little extra to make ends meet so she hardly had time either. It was so awesome not to have to worry about the lawn with everything else going on. If this doesn t describe to you the quality of person and quality of company that is Yard butler is, than I don t know what else to say. We will always be so grateful for their kindness and willingness to help a family in need. 11/10

AMAZING!!! They do our snow/ice removal and make sure that we are always taken care of! They come numerous times a day to make sure that there are no icy spot that anyone could could slip on. They are by far the best snow removal servicing company this program has ever had. William gave me his card and told me to call anytime of day to have them come out and take care of the parking or side walks. If there was a zero, that would be my review. They were contracted to fix a wet area at our church building across the street from us last October. It still has not been resolved, with a standing pile of sod, dirt and gravel this whole time. They lean on their shovels and look at the mess, wondering what to do next. The grass and trees are dying. Do not use this company

Absolute worst billing practices. Three years in a row they billed me for services they didnt perform. Then they wanted me to start paying in advance. That was it.

They currently take care of my Moms yard and any issues that were communicated to them were addressed the same day. They are honest and just want to do what is right. Our sprinkler system had some issues when we had used another company to blow out our sprinkler system this past winter. Needless to say when we turned on our sprinklers in the Spring time, something was definitely wrong. The Yard Butler came right over and repaired what the previous company had broken. Their team member was extremely courteous and more than willing to get our sprinklers back in working order. We had our sprinklers back on in no time!

I had a very terrible experience with this company. After they did an unsatisfactory job and I complained, the owner, Amy, and I agreed on a charge less than quoted. She then charged me significantly more than we agreed on (more than I aithorized). I tried to contact her and my phone call was not returned, so I disputed the charge with my credit card. It ended up being a long drawn out process because she gave a false statement that we agreed on the amount she charged me. I again tried to call and was told she was busy. Not wanting to get the run around again, I decided to go in there. I attempted to talk to her about how wrong I felt it was for her to charge me more than we agreed on. She became very angry and argumentative and ultimately ended up grabbing money out of her purse, shoving it in my direction, and angrily saying would I take it and be happy and leave. I agreed and let her know that I would be sure to return the money if the dispute went threw to which she yelled, just keep it and leave. I am blown away by her terrible customer service. I believe there could have been a peaceful resolution and I believe the company has great potential. I would just strongly recommend that if you use them, you get your quote in writing. Bradly was wonderful to work with and apologized profusely for my experience. I would recommend dealing with Bradley. He is great and understands the importance of great customer service.

These guys are awesome! They do all my lawn fertilization and weed control, they spray my trees for insects, they do all my pest control and snow removal in the winter for all of my properties. Called Yard Butler when the yard for the house I recently purchased needed to be de-junglfied. Chris Marler was the Project Manager, provided a quick and reasonable quote. Under Chriss Supervision, Alex and Jose were the core team doing most of the work with others coming in and out as Chris determined to keep us on schedule and budget. The work was quickly and professionally accomplished and I would definitely recommend them. Following their work and based on the experience with them I have reached out to Yard Butler to get the yard maintenance plan of fertilizer and weed control to prevent the jungle from returning. 5 stars!

The guy came out to do irrigation repair and we wanted a price quote before he started. So he told me it would be around $200 so I agreed to have him go ahead and do the work. He did a great job, but When the invoice showed up it was $500. I even called the company and told that was what I was quoted. They said they have great customer service but never offered to make it right.

They emailed us pricing right away and we found them to be fairly priced in comparison to our previous service that we were unhappy with. We love the quality of work and professionalism that The Yard Butler provides. As first time home owners, we had a LOT of questions about sod, sprinklers, and landscaping ideas. I spoke with one of the owners, Darren, on the phone and he spent 20 minutes with me just answering my questions. He was straight forward and said they werent the cheapest landscapers in the area and then explained why, such as the higher quality of materials used. Snow plowing on residential property. No way to track when service was made and overcharging. Not responsive to complaints. Blame placed on resident. Accusatory. Abuse to an elder.

Had problems with them starting a year-long contract last year, and they quit their services 3 months early claiming they were done with their contract, when their contract clearly stated the end date. Did not contact us when they decided to quit their mowing service which was part of our contract, and did not get the sprinklers turned on as of yet for our rental. Very poor communication.

I ve used these guys for many different services and I ve had great customer service and they stand behind their work. They designed and installed a beautiful landscape for my property, I love the paver patio and the outdoor fire pit they installed! I use them for my fertilizer, weed control and pest control and my lawn is the best looking in the neighborhood. They ve helped me with some sprinkler repairs I wasn t able to figure out myself. I also use them in the winter for snow removal. Their service is worth every penny spent, I recommend their service to all.

Tried using them several years in a row now and each year there are different issues. Ive been charged late fees because they sent the bill to the wrong address with the wrong name, Ive had my appointment rescheduled without being informed, Ive missed appointments even when I was home all day because the service person never bothered to ring the doorbell. Try any other service before these guys.

They had to delay due to unexpected issues with a previous project, but Chris contacted me more than a week in advance to make sure I was ok withthe change. Very professional and did great service, as well as made sure I knew how to care for the new sod and what to expect in the coming weeks. Great company!

These guys came installed a beautiful retaining wall for me! They also adjusted sprinklers accordingly! They did an amazing job transforming my back yard into an oasis. They were easy to work with and accommodating. They were affordable, prompt, professional and nothing less than forthright. I recommend the Yard Butler with no reservation!

I want to recognize William and his outstanding team for the high quality work they provided to our property over the past week. In particular, what stands out was Williams transparency, communication, and expertise in designing a layout that worked well for our family. Not only were they adaptable to a last minute change of plans, the workers were accommodating to a new puppy that was making the rounds during their work. William was also very thorough about the long-term vision for the landscaping and provided maintenance advice to keep the property looking great. they called in order to make it right. Offered free sprinkler turn on and off. Wanted to make me happy. kudos for that. The owner subcontracts everything out I guess. The mowing guys are alright but the weeding, pruning and etc. they would do the front enough to take a picture and never touch the back. they claimed they didnt have enough time, so I upped the time and then still had to go out and stand on top of the weeders to get them to get the back flowerbeds done and around the patio. If I wasnt there back to doing a bit in the front so they could take a pic for the front office and leave the rest undone. This includes the pruning which is a flat $357. They trimmed two rose bushes in the front and left ALL the rest. When I called I was told that they work hard and I was being ridiculous complaining about their work and they werent going to be corrected. If all you need is curb appeal and dont care if the back and side weeding and pruning is done than this company might work for you, but if you are looking to get a complete job. Call someone else.
