I had purchased a new home in January. As we were looking into getting our yard done I got multiple bids. We started off with the fence. I had 3 bids and I was really happy with Rocky Mountain. With some weather delay they were able to get me done. I was really happy with the way it turned out and the time it took. As I write this review I just wanted to share an similar experience I'm currently having with them. No call backs. I recently saw that the gate they had done has a faulty weld. I know this because the paint or powder coat is behind the bracket so It wasn't welded fully. No big deal. I have two small dogs. One will run as soon as he gets the chance so its very important to me that the fence and gate is secured. I have left two voicemails this week and an email. I just wanted to look into getting a new bracket. Food for thought. They have a lot of reviews on not returning calls.
Had this company come out and do Vinyl Privacy Fence around the yard, and cut down tree and dead lilacs that we'll have grinded down later. Explained we had many dogs (6) and our chainlink is not preventing 2 of them from jumping over (4'H). We explained that we need the fence low to deter as much digging as possible. First the positives; This company has very competitive rates, I could only find 1 MAAAAYBE 2 that are even close to their rates. They are very professional and nice and seem like they care about their work. and lastly reasonably fast paced - it was alot of work. So kudos. Some things I've learned along the way so you can decide if this is negative or just naivety on my part. Original quote was for 12330 (which tbh was a couple hundred dollars below the next bid) then because they forgot/neglected/idk to put a small gate on the bid it went to 12730 (which is only 100 cheaper than next bid). Remember that these bids are not set in stone and can change depending on extra work etc. and the bid you sign they can change and you wont get an email telling you of the change (i dont think that is the fault of the company but of the site they use) The next part is a definite learning lesson - they WILL make the top rail even across the perimeter, unless you specifically tell the person setting the posts that the bottom rail needs to be to the ground or whatever your needs ar. Now, this again was a problem because the ground wasn't even it caused MANY spaces underneath. Which if you scroll back up was a BIG thing. After everything is set up there isn't anything you can really do. SO if you do use this company, remember, if you want something VERY specific to make sure that you get it before you get the final product. We have had more issues with the dogs digging out now than we did with our chainlink and we've had the fence for about 6 days and they've escaped 7 times. I've reached out to Tyson (he's been great answering my questions promptly and sorta fully) to see if they can make it right. I've only reached out today, so he may be busy with other projects. So takeaways - if you want something specific and they tell you they can do it, be sure they actually do it, otherwise they will install it how it should be with just the top rail even. Double check they have a back up to any specialty techs that are needed for the job (like auger operators) otherwise if one calls out then they may not have a backup to send out. Our job took 4 days (1 to tear down the chainlink, 1 to set the posts, 1 to continue letting the posts dry 1 to install the panels) Our fence line is roughly 135x135x100x20x10 feet This company is good, and makes an amazing product but be sure you get what you asked for or you'll end up putting more work into your yard. best of luck!

Fencing came out perfect, very happy with the results and how quickly they got us to completion. I complained about one bottom board being damaged and they replaced without issues.
We used These guys for our fence, sprinkler system, and flower beds and sod. I honestly can not say enough great things about them! Their pricing was very competitive. And their work is simply impeccable! And did I mention exceptional customer service, we had a few extremely small issues come up during our project including an issue where my neighbors fence that we were planning to connect with blew down in a wind storm. Blake and Tyson were incredible! They went above and beyond to formulate a plan to help us resolve it quickly and not delay our installation. Their crew was respectful polite and so hard working! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! They are the best in our area!
We used them to do our whole yard including sprinkler install and all landscaping with fencing and firepit. Everyone was very professional and punctual. The yard was complete from dirt to full yard with fence in 1 week. I couldn't be more impressed with the quality of work and timeliness of them getting our job done. Throughout the job I was informed of the progress and what to expect next. Plus the 1 year guarantee on all their work is awesome. I highly recommend this company will definitely use them again if we have any landscaping needs. Update: They provide a year warranty on all their work but have not been responsive to multiple text messages or phone calls to replace our dead tree and multiple dead shrubs that were placed. We have have had no luck getting them to honor the warranty as presented when we signed contract for them to complete the work. Now it seems we may have to pay another company to come fix the work they should be fixing. Very disappointed in the amount of professionalism to honor their own warranty. Will not recommend them to anyone after dealing with this.

Asked for a bid and Blake said he would get it to me. Ive yet to see one two weeks later and now hes ghosting me and wont return phone calls or texts. I think he was turned off when he asked for my budget and I refused to give him one because I just wanted his best price without any outside influence. Even if he decided it wasnt worth taking on the job, I feel he could at least communicate that to me instead of leaving me hanging. Very disappointed.

This is an amazing company. We moved here from Pocatello into a new house. It had a fence, but no yard. A neighbor suggested Rocky Mountain L & F. They did our sprinkler system and sod. I met with them, laid out a plan, received an estimate, and then Blake would never return a call or text. I even left a message to say if you can t or don t want to do the job, please just say so. NO RESPONSE!

I am blown away by the professionalism of Rocky Mountain Landscaping. My husband and I have hired many different businesses over the years and have never had this amazing of an experience with a company. Their communication was the best I ve ever experienced. Blake was absolutely amazing to work with start to finish. Him and his team are some of the kindest people I ve met. Blake answered my many many many questions I had. He was so patient and helpful. Very quick to respond and stay in communication with me. I truly felt like him and his team cared to give me the very best and to make me completely happy. I was very observant when the crew was here and never saw them slack off or do a half job. I could tell they paid attention to details and did it right. At the end of the work days, they made sure to clean the yard up nicely. I made the comment to one of the landscapers that I have never been so impressed with a company and that I watch how hard they all work and don t skip corners. His response was every yard we do, we treat as if it is our personal yard. I would want someone to do a great job on my yard if I hired them so we do our very best on each and every job. I did a lot of research when looking to hire a landscaping company. I could not recommend Rocky Mountain Landscaping enough. Blake is an honest owner that gives very fair pricing. Rocky Mountain finished installing a vinyl fence for us today; we thought we would not be able to get it scheduled and completed until next year. They had great communication and followed through with everything we expected. Fence looks great! We would definitely recommend them to others!
I m so happy with my yard! Blake was very friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. I changed my mind a few times on some of the details for my yard, and they were able to execute without any issues. My entire yard had sprinklers installed, metal edging done, was leveled out, and had sod installed in less than three days. I love the results and highly recommend these guys for anyone needing a yard!
We had them do all of our inlayed sprinklers 2 months ago. We have already had to lines bust and flood our yard. They do send someone out to fix them but not same day. Also the pipes are less than 3 months old, they shouldnt be breaking.
These guys are great! We were moving rock with shovels and a wheel barrow all day and saw these guys working down the road and asked if we could pay them to move a load of the rock with their skid-stir. They came over and moved more than we asked them and they refused to let us pay them.
Blake and his crew came to put in flower beds and trees the beginning of July 2020. They planted the wrong tree in the front and had to dig it up. When they did this they dumped the dirt and rock into my newly finished flower bed so I have an unsightly pile of dirt and rock. They came back later in July to put in grass. They informed me July 30th that one of the crew members damaged the siding earlier in the month. Blake said he would order the siding and get it replaced. August 20th I messaged him to see if the siding had come in yet and recieved no response. I messaged him again on the 27th. He said someone would be out next Tuesday. As of September 9th it still wasnt fixed and we had lots of rain. I messaged Blake and didnt hear back. On the 18th I messaged him again and he said his guy would be by on Monday. This is the last I had heard from Blake. I messaged him again September 21st and got no response. I finally had to pay $300 for someone else to come and fix my siding.
Blake and the RMY crew do an amazing job! I wouldnt trust anyone else with my landscaping and yard. Highly recommend.
RMY is fantastic! Working with Blake and his crew was such a pleasure. We ve been telling everyone about our wonderful experience! We love our yard, Down Under Trampoline, and curbing. Blake s crew even took the time to save our son when his foot was stuck in a window well grate. If you want an incredible experience with your landscaping or yard maintenance RMY is a must.
