They send bills to people who have never even contacted them. Very predatory business practices. Beyond that, the cut and paste nonsense responses to genuine concerns are disturbing.

TruGreen did not show up for two months in the spring. Now in late summer and fall they have cancelled three times in a row. Joshua is the rudest tech. This office does whatever it wants. Terrible.

I started service with TruGreen last year and my grass is worst than it was before they started servicing my yard. My yard looks horrible and Im very disappointed with the services that I received. Update: TruGreen came out and put sod down in certain areas in my lawn and its not even with the rest of my lawn. It looks a mess and now it has a fungus although I watered the grass like they told me to. This company messed my entire front yard up and I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. I spoke with the supervisor and he told me that he was doing me a favor by putting the sod down. He didnt do me any favors because it was his company that ruined my yard in the first place. He stated that I need to have my yard treated. Why would I have his company treat my yard when theyre the ones that ruined my yard in the first place...

Ive been with Trugreen. They treated my yard one time and I saw more weeds not long after. I called my sales guy and he sent someone within a week to retreat my yard. The service so far is great. I never could get all of the weeds on my own. I cant wait to have a green weed free yard.

TruGreen Specialist, Dalemarco H. was wonderful. I did not have a chance to speak with him, however I normally check the property cameras to view the TruGreen application. Dalemarco was meticulous and thorough while applying the fertilizer mixture. Thank you for taking your time to ensure our lawn is cared for. I highly recommend Dalemarco. At TruGreen.

Morton Enos, did a good job, he contacted me when he arrived explained about the service and asked if I had some issues with the yard.

The guys do a good job spraying the lawn but need to be mindful of putting things back where they were when they arrived. I.e. if you move the garbage dumpsters in garbage day our garbage may not get picked up.

They did a great job spraying our yard for pests. The guy that did the spraying was fantastic!

Alfredo, the technician who treated my lawn today was very helpful and expressed interest with the concerns that I had. I would like to have him treat my lawn from now on.

It has been raining & a flash flood watch is designated for my area, ground is saturated with water ... however, I decided to let Tyler spray since this is not his decision ... Tyler was very nice & did a good job ... just not sure if the Pre-emergent will be affective in todays environment. I have the work number for the local Trugreen and talk with supervisor, he said if todays application didnt work to call him & he would schedule a follow-up ... REALLY appreciated him answering the phone and talking with me ... thank you Mr. Walker Mr Walker called back that evening, he said after going to lunch it was too much rain. I assumed a followup would happen since spraying in pouring rain & a saturated ground was present and acknowledged. Now I was serviced on 2/28 (think paperwork said something about soil test & again (lime) on 29th. From what I can tell, Ive paid about $150 for one service of lime since 1/29 was useless & 1/28 soil test ??? to add all this up the tech on

I m happy with the service. I didn t get a chance to talk with the new specialist because we were headed to a doctor s appointment at the time he was just starting to apply chemicals to the lawn. I use TruGreen to help maintain some large trees and shrubs that were placed in the landscape a couple of years ago. Their services are comprehensive except for pruning, which is not included. Joshua Smith, my TruGreen specialist, is knowledgeable and professional as well as friendly, pleasant, and patient if the client has questions or concerns. He goes out of his way to address any issues that may arise!

I rarely post reviews, but in this case I wanted people to know about my experience with this company. I received the texts and notifications that they were on sight performing my service at the same time I received the invoice. I checked my cameras and they never showed up! Contacted my salesman multiple times this same day with no response. After finally speaking to someone. The resolution was they went to the wrong address, so they schedule me the next day to perform the lime treatment. They did come this time and only serviced about 3/4 of my yard, did not touch the side near the roadway or behind my fence, this is pelletized lime, easily visible I was pretty much shocked they still could not perform this service correctly. If you have this company I would make sure your services is being completed. I canceled my service because I no longer trusted them. They also kept contacting me about other services after I told them on other occasions I was not interested. Salesman promised results, tech did not deliver.

Update: I was contacted by ashley who is in charge of my area. She was polite and very attentive to my concerns after speaking with her, I think my issues come down to 1 person in their sales department, Jimmy. He Was dishonest in saying he would be my contact person. From then on, he basically gave me the runaround to get out of being dishonest. (And my soil samples were lost). After my conversation with her, I have faith this may work out. Because of her, I changed my review from a 1 to a 3 and well see how it goes. Hopefully we can get it up to a 5. Initially i thought this would be a good choice for my lawncare and signed up for $3k/ year service. However, after signing up I recieved an enourmous amout of calls telling me I was flagged for pest and disease on my shrubs which was not correct. They are perfectly healthy. Dont lie to try to upsell services. 2nd its been 2 months since they took a soil sample. I was told Id get results 2-3 weeks by my account rep ( via text, so i have prof) Then on a phone call the same person, Jimmy, said he had no idea who would have told me that but its more like 6 weeks. Im sorry.... soil samples DONT take this long. 2 months later and no one cares. Obviously since they didnt upsell more services to me, they dont care.

We had concerns bout some trees and wanted to fertilize them to keep them from dying. The response/treatment was extremely quick and very much appreciated.

I received a text notification that my technician had arrived. Looked outside no one was there. Several minutes later I received a second text that my service was complete. This had me questioning had they ever come? So I went back to the previous date scheduled service and looked it up on our security cameras. They in fact did not come that day. I called customer service and requested a refund for both dates but only received one. Never again will I use or recommend this company

Shout out to Rodney Childers for being a great representation of TruGreen. Upon arrival, Rodney quickly saw that the package I had purchased was not right for my needs. He called his supervisor and worked it all out within minutes. Thankful for an honest opinion and how he handled the situation for the best of his customer!

This is the premiere lawn treatment service in the North Alabama area. They do an outstanding job and are always on top of things. And on the off-chance that some issue should arise they will quickly and professionally take whatever steps are necessary to rectify the situation. 10 out of 10 stars!

Tyler was very pleasant. He came to the door to let us know he was in our house so we could took care of the dogs. We watched him do the job. He was focused and detailed oriented. We recommend Tyler; hope he is the person who is sent every time.

Never keeps scheduled appointments and shows up when I cant be there or make arrangements to make sure my dog is not out or that the gate is unlocked. After several calls I still cant get a supervisor to return a call! I prepaid for my service so its a lesson learned! They have my money so it seems that dont care to contact me. I will use another company after this season! Original post 8 months ago. Still no proper customer service. I was on a pre-paid plan and was waiting for it to complete and even though I paid up front they charged my account today for a treatment. Still cant get a notice before they come and cant get a call back.

Not happy with their lawn care particularly weed mitigation, but the worst part is their mosquito service. Havent seen results yet. Discontinued this year to try another company. Even after registering my complain, the person who called me to know why I discontinued my services, no assurance to fix the problem or redo the mosquito treatment. Most frustrating was he hung up on me when I declined to continue services with them. One of the Worst customer service experience.

We have been customers with TruGreen since 2009. We have always been extremely satisfied with their service. We wanted to pay a compliment to our Technician Tyler Woessner. He goes above and beyond, he always moves our trampoline and children s items to insure the entire yard gets serviced. Great job Tyler W !!!!

Their representatives are courteous and knowledgeable. They follow up to confirm if the service did what it was supposed to do. The re-apply a service if results are not achieved on the first try. Have had Tru Green for years and are satisfied with their lawn care programs.
