Used them for lawn mowing. Mowing every two weeks. They seem to do a good job. No complaints. 35801 area
Very responsive to service requests, I had an appointment set within 24 hours. Prices are reasonable, and they did a great job. Yard looked great, edging done, no clippings left on the sidewalk or driveway, and they even cleaned up the dirt that had washed out of my flowerbed and onto the sidewalk.
When we arrived in our neighborhood over 15 years ago our next-door neighbor received lawn service from Mako Lawn Care. I called Mako to help us with our lawn care needs. They have continued to take care of our lawn ever since. Over the years the crews have been courteous, hard-working, and reliable. As needed, they have cleared overgrown brush and weeds in our challenging backyard, which slopes upward, full of trees, underbrush, roots, and rocks. Mako has helped clear a once quite overgrown, wild, and impenetrable backyard into an enjoyable garden spot! I recommend them highly!
First time and Very disappointed with their service, both times we use this service, grass was cut uneven, like they were in a hurry, all the grass cuttings where scattered on the mulch on the flowerbeds, and every pot on the patio, they were sent to clean it after we advice the owner with this issue, they didn’t even stay “cleaning” 10 minutes and they were gone, they blew all the mulch from one flowerbed all over the yard and left. I’m pretty sure the owner is committed on giving the best service but the people that work for him isn’t.
Mako Lawncare does outstanding work. In addition to routine lawn mowing and maintenance, they were also available to do special projects, as requested. Their pricing was always fair and the owner was very responsive. As an out of town owner, it was very comforting to do business with such a professional service provider.
I wasn’t at home when Mako showed up and mowed our yard. I checked it out and there are patches of unmoved areas, particularly on each side of the house, the grass was left too tall in the front, back and both sides of the home. I’m going to have to get a mower and take care of the lawn myself or I’m going to receive a letter from our HOA. Also, more of my neighbors lawn was mowed than. mine. I’m extremely disappointed with your company.
We used Mako for about 10 years. They're very reliable and attentive to details such as closing the gate before leaving the property. They do a good job on the lawn, the crew is always polite and considerate, and they're as fast as lightning, too. We only stopped using them because we moved out of town. Good service to use for residential lawn maintenance. A+!
I'm not sure what happened this year, but service has been disappointing. My complaints have been ignored. ............ Mako takes care of the lawn at my business and my home. I don't have to beg them to mow in the middle of the summer when the grass grows fast like my last lawn care guy. The guy that took care of my home lawn went out of business in the middle of last summer, but his son took over after the city sent me a notice and I pleaded with them to cut my lawn. . Mako is committed to their business and is not "the guy down the street that wants to mow lawns for a few summers." I know they will be there all year, every year. The real reason that I am writing this review is because of the service they just provided in clearing the "jungle" that surrounded my home. The rate was so low I almost feel guilty - I know they worked hard to make it look so good. I am a very HAPPY customer!
I originally saw these guys mowing my neighbors lawn and asked them how much they would change to do mine (I found out I was paying like $30 more with my old lawn guy) and from the time I put in my request for appraisal on their site, they were here the next day. Payments can be done on their website and they came in and handled everything quickly! (my lawn was a hot mess due to the rain chaining every other day too!) I will continue using their services!
Dave is a great guy.
They get the job done quickly. Maybe too quickly- sloppy about edging in areas. Also, mower ran into our fire pit and knocked half the stones off. They didnt straighten them.

Contacted Mako lawn care 3 times regarding we need extra yard cleanup work done, need them to trim the tree branches. They never did the work, only show up and did the regular lawn mowing, even though we had contacted them multiple times before hand asking them to trim the trees. The 1st time they showed up didnt have the tool and said their boss didnt tell them anything about trimming the branches; the second time they said they will bring tools for the job, but still didnt do the work. The 3rd time we asked and reminded them that we need the tree trimmed, they didnt do it at all. Very disappointed at the response and lack of professionalism.
After I expressed that our lawn was not mowed to the frequency we expected or to a quality that was expected I appreciated David reaching out to us personally and coming up with a solution to delivery quality service. I appreciate a business owner like David who values a customer and does everything they can to resolve an issue.
I have never employed this service, but they regularly park their trucks in front of my house while blocking my trash service. I have asked them on multiple occasions to not do this, but then they do it again. I would like them to be more considerate of the neighborhoods where they are parking.
Good job when they show up. Unfortunately thats the problem, over the past few months Ive been using them for lawn care and they have only come 3 or 4 times. I wanted them to come every week and they seem to come every 2 to 3 weeks and give me no heads up if they cant make it. so now Im guessing if I have to mow my lawn or if theyre going to come. getting in touch with the owners very difficult I guess my last resort is leaving this review. One star because theyre completely unreliable.

Don t use Mako as my service, but my neighbor does and each technician proceeds to blow all the grass clippings and sweet gum balls into my yard. Very inconsiderate.

What a job! What a difference! The house has beautiful landscaping that had been terribly neglected. After a weekend of trying to DIY, we determined we needed a professional. These guys are the real deal. They worked tirelessly for hours restoring our home to its intended beauty. Thank you Nick and crew! You exceeded our expectations.
These guys do a great job. They mow our lawn every other week because my husband still likes to get out there and mow it himself some too. We were having a yard sale last Friday and Saturday and they hadnt come yet that week so I called and asked them if theyd come Thursday and they were there bright and early to do it. Very reasonable prices and nicer folks.
Fantastic service, fair pricing. They are professional, courteous , and take a lot of pride in their craft. I noticed how great my neighbors lawn looked and how efficient these guys were and had to try them out. So glad I did! The only negative reviews on them are silly, one has good service and gives 2 stars? What? The other? I dont know. Never had any language issues and they wore clothes too! Look, give them a test drive. Yes they will do that, then make your own mind up

I used Mako Lawn Care for this 2018 year for the first time. They were consistent on the timing with maintaining the lawn. Overall, I was pleased with the service provided by Mako. I would recommend them.

Mako Lawn Care is professional, reliable, and always does a fantastic job. Ive used multiple landscaping companies in the past, and Mako is by far the best ... always there when I need the job done and at a great price! Every employee I have encountered has been super nice and courteous around my family of four.
Been with Mako for years. Havent looked back. Bottom line, if the customer has an issue, Mako will promptly and professionally address it. What more can a customer ask for?
Good service
They do a nice job. Timely and clean up the trimmings. And responsive. Come October I cut back to once a month then in March go back to twice monthly. They work with that no problems. I recommend u set up auto pay through your bank.
They can mow and clean up very fast and very well. I almost went with them. I have not used them and here is why- (please note... Ive been in the outdoor service industry for much of my life, I know the environment) Professionals wear clothes. Ok so its hot- bring 10 more shirts, a towel, some water maybe. If you want to score with your lady customers...deliver pizza. Professionals do not curse in front of customers, potential customers, women, and children. If you want to curse like a Sailor take a bath, cut your hair, and serve as the rest of us have. There is no place for tough talk in front of my kids. This review is based on two years of watching them, several phone calls, and no returns. Return the calls, make a change to your helps conduct and Ill remove my silly rant. Just saying.
