Verhaeghe Lawn Maintenance & Landscape Inc. in Huntley

I needed to have the paver steps on my back patio rebuilt along with having a section of my 15 year old paver patio raised to prevent ponds forming when it rained. My son recommended Verhaeghe Landscape to me after they had done some paver work for him. Josh came out and gave me a very reasonable estimate for the job. His crew of three were very skilled and hard working while respecting my property. The work was completed over two days and they kept me informed throughout the build and soliciting my input with all changes that needed to be made and why. I couldn't be more pleased with the result. Below is the before and after (I hadn't installed a new ledger board between the steps and the patio door yet when the after picture was taken).

I had removed a pool and a deck and was left with a disaster of a backyard. Josh came out and gave me an estimate, and even recommended some cost saving measures. Everyone at the company was professional and polite from beginning to end. Amazingly, the project was finished in under three days, and looks fantastic.

We recently moved in to our new home and our retaining wall was in need of repair, along with out Patio. We asked if they can add a pergola as well. I’m not sure what Michele m is talking about but we were extremely pleased with the outcome and professionalism this provided with this company. I highly recommend them!

First off men lock your wife’s up, these men are sexy lol! On a real note they planted new trees and laid sod down for us and it turned out great. Josh I believe was his name was extremely cooperative during the entire process and easy to work with I highly recommend this company!

Completed a beautiful brick paver patio and pergola for us. Owner and crew were very professional. They completely transformed our yard. I highly recommend!

Very poor quality of workmanship. 1st time they came out to fix their work was due to the drainage of the patio, 2nd time was to again fix drainage and address the uneven pavers outside the door. Was given an excuse that this was the only way to install them. Hard to believe since there had been a paver patio there that when it was new (18 years ago) it did not have any issues. I understand with time pavers settle, but never had any issue like this in the past. The pictures show the workmanship, it's literally embarrassing how this patio looks! the cut pieces at the outside corner are a joke! I waited a very long time to write this review. The work was done September of 2021 and the final fix was done Spring 2022. If I had written the review earlier it would have been scathing! I truly regret having this company redo my patio. They did try to fix the corner where there are 3 cut pieces that is directly in a main area, it was not possible without tearing up the entire patio and they had no intention of doing that, just excuses, it was a bad crew that did the original job, that person is no longer with the company..... like I said excuses but not results.
