Awful experience, Justin has no professionalism and pretty much forces all his customers to leave 5 star reviews. He showed up late, wanted to change the pricing on my quote hours later because he “miscounted”materials. During his first visit he was easily frustrated with some questions and was not helpful at all. Not sure if he it was a bad day but he had a terrible attitude, he will never will get my business after what I had to go through.
This is our second landscaping / hardscaping design project Soundview Gardens & Design has completed for us. Justin corrected our major issues with drainage, including dry wells & gutters. Justin designed a cobblestone apron at top of driveway, re-aligned & re-piped dry well to fix drainage issues, refurbished our driveway & walkway pavers. He even arranged to have larger gutters & leaders installed to correct drainage flow. All while working within our budget parameters & timing. Thank you Soundview Gardens & Design.
My vacation home is upstate and located easily 4 hours from long Island. Not only did Justin design a full landscape lighting design ,but spent nearly 4 day's installing and making absolutely sure it was to both his and mine expectations. On top of the lighting he also went to the extent of offering me granite stone pillars that were located in Massachusetts, yes I said Massachusetts. He picked them up and transported them to my house in the Catskills. My house is now easily the most recognized house on the country road where it's located. He made a very difficult installation, a very easy execution in excellence. My house is spectacular because of his imagination, ingenuity and execution in installation. I put full trust in his design and installation, he is truly a master of his craft. I look forward to many more future projects with Justin and Soundview gardens. Thank you for making my house the showpiece it is.

We engaged Justin and his team for a comprehensive property renovation. His keen sense for design is creative, while also tasteful and practical. From color and style choices to proportion and placement considerations, Justin’s attention to detail is unmatched. He listened to our needs, while helping us develop and realize our vision. He provided us guidance and reassurance when sought and never pushed us in a direction that we didn’t agree with. Involved in all facets and at every stage, from the initial design through final execution, Justin became personally invested in the entirety of the renovation. The design was meticulously executed to the smallest detail. Day to day, his team did everything possible to minimize impact on our family and left the work site as neat and clean as possible. Projects involving multiple trades can often be challenging. Justin is adept at coordinating with several contractors (masonry, electrical, siding, roofing, gutters, paving, irrigation, etc.), earning their cooperation and respect. Justin is a true professional. He exceeded our expectations in every way. We cannot imagine a better partner to work with, nor a better one to recommend.
Justin installed landscape lighting around my house (see photos). He was professional, easy to work with , and installed the lighting in a timely manner. Also, he had some great ideas on the design. I would use him again.
Justin and his crew were excellent to work with! Their hardscape and landscape designs were wonderful. They listened to what I was looking for and provided an outdoor kitchen and pavilion I always dreamed of. Justin incorporated last minute requests without blinking an eye and had great suggestions and did little extras as he saw fit. Based on numerous positive recommendations from my neighbors, I contracted with Justin and Soundview to repair my leaking chimney and flashing, and to install a new brick veneer. We were having issues with water coming up from the floor in the basement after heavy rain. Soundview helped adjust the landscaping and installed a dry well to prevent water from getting in. We ve been good since! They did a great job, worked quickly, and the side of the house looks even better than before.

He will handle everything from planning to design to permits to supervision to a timely completion, and does much of the physical work too! Over promised and under delivered. Justin is not a good listener and does not welcome feedback on a project. He simply wanted to do what he wanted and did not take the budget into consideration at all. As a result, he became belligerent and passive aggressive, threatening and then walked off the job in the middle without finishing leaving the property a mess and a big cost to fix. I would not recommend this co at all.

Within last 6 mths replaced overgrown flowerbed with sod. Recently dug out retaining wall & steps from 1950. Replaced with huge boulders, and gave it a new modern look. Regrated & reseeded hill. Neat with jobs & excellent final clean ups. Now working on landscaping/planting on property. Totally happy with Justin & his crew. Definitely recommend 100% for any project!!
Justin and Soundview did an amazing job. We ended up making multiple changes to the initial design and at no point did I feel that I was being a bother or that he was annoyed with all of the changes. The communication throughout the entire process was seamless and he truly cared about the vision I had for my yard.
