SpringGreen has serviced my yards at two houses for nearly twenty years. Jim Bernier, the owner, is very hands-on, responsive and honest. Very knowlegeable about all grasses and weeds and diseases. He hires good technicians. He has never let me down. I recommend him and his company SpringGreen often to others.
I have tried various "green" companies in my 6+ years in my house because I could never get the desired results I was looking for. Ever since I switched to Spring Green I have had much better results at keeping my lawn green and healthy.
Spring Green has greatly improved the appearance of my lawn.Every lawn technician has been professional courteous friendly.I complained one time (in the winter) about some areas on my front lawn and the owner came out racked out the bad area and planted new seed. THAT IS SOME GREAT SERVICE. Thanks for making my lawn THE BEST in the neighborhood.
Spring-Green lawn service made a dramatic improvement to my lawn by taking care of it from every possible angle weeds fertilizer grubs etc. And they do it with the greatest customer service, professionalism, courtesy and total education. I have never seen any lawn service provide so much detail on my lawn, what needs to be done, what they did. Every single person that came to service the lawn in the last four years was a total professional.
I used to DIY the yard and, frankly, it wasn't looking so great. Now, Spring Green has been treating it for 2 years and it looks fantastic. My yard has never looked better and is one of the best on the street! They also come on time, no pressure for extra services, etc. I'm extremely happy with Spring Green and highly recommend!
They came out to treat for periodic lawn service and they caused burn spots in our lawn due to poor application with the chemicals they used. They didn’t end up giving us any type of refund to help remedy their mistake. They took no ownership. They claimed it was brown patch, but it is not.
I thought this was a great service after aeration and my yard looked great. I prepaid a year of services to keep my lawn looking nice, yet here I am a year later and my grass looks worse than ever. I am beyond disappointed with how my yard looks after paying for professional services, but that’s only the beginning. After the services I paid for were over I got renewal letters to prepay or pay as you go per treatment. Knowing that I didn’t want to continue service since I saw more cons than pros, I did NOT renew. Imagine my surprise when I came home to a bill for services that I did not continue to sign up for. Customer service was less than helpful. They state themselves that we don’t have a contract (exactly, so why come on my property when I’ve made no further agreement?) and that their letter obviously indicate that service continues indefinitely whether you’ve continued or not. I’ve attached a copy of this ‘obvious’ language that apparently should have stood out to me (especially as a customer who prepaid and therefore never had to look at these individual bills in the past) More than anything I’m embarrassed that I recommended them to so many neighbors who have also had the same issues. You’re better off DIYing your lawn than wasting money here. Ive tried to post a before and after of my lawn so you can see how poor it has become along with a copy of what the bill looks like so you can decide for yourself but it won’t go through so feel free to ask. Note you can also see my previous review where I WAS satisfied with the service. This changed.
The technician is friendly and covers our entire yard. NO WEEDS and green grass is proof positive.
Spring-Green Lawn Care is simply the best. I have been using them for more than 15 years. Their techs are well educated and know how to analyze overall yard health and spot any areas of concern. They are on time, use quality products and respond to any issues ASAP. The owner gets personally involved in any needs outside the program. Strongly recommend their organic program ... yard is greener longer into the hot summer months and I use less water.
I have been with Spring-Green since last 2 years & they have been phenomenal. They have taken care of my lawn really well & so far there has been no complaints which I can actually log against them. I have also referred them to few of my neighbors. I would happily refer them to anyone who is looking for lawn services.

When we first moved in three years ago, Spring-Green transformed our lawn from a disastrous weed-patch to a lush fescue lawn. Weve been extremely pleased with them ever since.
I pressure wash alot of homes in the Bailey Glens neighborhood in corneilus. Ive come across a couple of the employees here and they are great. Super easy to work with and king people. Very personable. Would recommend.

I called Spring Green to pay my bill and understand why I was charged 297.29 for Core & Overseed for the fall. I was under the assumption that this service included treatment every 6 weeks in the spring. When I contacted the office to discuss my service package, the representative wasnt able to accurately answer my question around the service I received. After asking about my service question in several different way and receiving the same blanketed response. I requested to speak with the manager. I was placed on hold and when Chrissy returned, I was told the manager heard the whole conversation and the price is set and refused to speak with me. I was taken aback, this is a poor excuse of leadership and disrespect to me as the customer. I merely wanted to understand what lawn service package I purchased and why my bill was so high. It was never about the bill or requesting to reduce the price. I was seeking clarity to fully understand what I purchased and what I needed to purchase to receive the best package. I was so mad that I replied that they could take me to court for payment! I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE WAY I WAS HANDLED!!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVCIE AND THIS IS A TRAINING OPPORTUNITY FOR THE FRONT LINE MANAGER & REPRESENTATIVE...
Spring-Green service is exceptional. My experience with their services for over 5 years thus far is A+, affordable and 5 Star!! Spring-Greens fertlization, weed control and annual aeration services were very beneficial. My wife and I highly recommend their quality of services.
I had to start from scratch with a dirt weed infested lawn and they recommended the right irrigation people, helped with the new care of the sod and in 1 year went from nothing to a nice green lawn, the best in the neighborhood. The staff are always on time, knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend you try them out and see for yourself.

We really struggled with weeds and bermudagrass in our fescue lawn this year, but we recently signed up with Spring Green and have already seen a huge improvement. I am very hopeful to get things back under control and keep it under control. The service I have received so far has been outstanding, with knowledgeable and friendly staff, great communication, and an overall excellent value.

Ive been using them for a number of years now and my lawn looks great! If you live in the Carolinas its extremely important to get the crabgrass preventer put down at the right time of year. They nail it every year!

Professional peoples nice jobs
I wanted Spring Green to work out really bad but it just didn t. I gave them a full two years to get my yard in good shape and it s now in worse shape them when I moved into my house three years ago. Last summer I had 3/4 of my back yard completely die in August. They said it was brown patch and I bought into it and spent around $100 to get rid of it. They over seeded and aerated and my lawn and a hurricane came a week later and washed away all the seed, lime, and fertilizer - Obviously not their fault but I asked for them to come out and put more seed down and they would not. I spent another $75 myself to put seed down. Fast forward to this summer and my lawn looked good until July. I watered my lawn 4/5 days a week throughout the summer and my lawn not only died, but went to complete dirt. I called and complained and they tried to come up with excuses. They again came and aerated and over seeded. Afterwards I walked around the yard to check their work and almost no seed was put down in the areas that were completely dirt. I called, they again gave excuses and said they d take soil samples. Been several weeks and no response and I have a million weeds in my lawn. Not sure what I paid them for over the last two years but my lawn is absolute garbage. Spent over $900 with them and probably $500 on my own. I do not recommend them.
Dry happy with their service. My lawn has never looked better. After this summers heat my lawn has recovered nicely after aeration, over seeding and fertilizing.
They did a good job with the lawn, and they are easy to reach and take care of the customer.

Spring Green destroyed portions of my lawn, treated my lawn for weeds which I still have and over a year period never resolved my issues. In addition they sent me to a collections agency for $110.12 bill which I disputed due to poor service. They rarely have a customer service agent available and you are forced to leave a message with them via voicemail. There service specialists dont listen and are not customer friendly. My lawn has never looked worse thanks to Spring Green. If you value the look of your lawn find a different service provider.

We have been customers of Spring-Green for a couple years now and they definitely get the job done. Their service is extremely friendly, professional, and above all else, they are thorough. You can absolutely trust that every square inch of your lawn will be addressed when a treatment is done...even if you arent at home with a watchful eye. Sadly, many lawn care companies (I can think of two off-hand) arrive, knock on the door to leave the invoice (discover no one is home), do one quick spray with the hose, and hop back into their truck, driving away in under 5 minutes (such a scam). NOT Spring-Green! This is a lawn care company you can trust! They will even come back out (at no additional cost) to respray for weeds if the initial treatment didnt catch some of the more troublesome growth in your yard. They strive for quality and it shows. We highly recommend Spring-Green!!!
