Irrigation Shut Down #163314 I was deceived by this service, I was expecting a full winterization of my irrigation system. Lines to be flushed and drained. The service guy ask me where the shutoff vale was located and turned the water off and left. $150 to shut the water off? Completely disappointed and taken advantage of. I will no longer utilize College Pro for any of my lawn care needs. Scott
Just added a lovely photo of the boys after a very unpleasant driving experience. As you can tell in the picture, these guys don't really have a care or consideration in the world for others.
There driver drive like fast. They don’t slow down for anything. On Hiway 72 it bad. I called the company and talk to a lady all she said is call the police. So that tell me do what you got to do. If I drove like that they would be pis at me. All we ask is to slow down your driver . Nothing else.
I would Never recommend. Contacted company, gentleman came out April 2, very pleasant ( I believe his name was Clay)and I was happy with his suggestions. However, days and days went by and no estimate, called and spoke to whoever sets up the scheduling and she said that there was no estimate but she would let him know, I was inquiring about my estimate. waited yet another week or so and I called again, was told he had been out of town and there still no estimate, I advised, never mind and the scheduling person says,” wait , wait, wait, I know you probably don’t want me to send him a message but I’ll tell him you are waiting in an estimate” Never heard a word, I just don’t get it, he spent a good bit of time speaking to my husband and myself, then spend a good bit of time taking photos, measurements. I was so disappointed and then had to contact yet another company. Very frustrating!
My brief encounter with this company was terrible. I was traveling in my Camry with my wife, daughter, and 6-year-old granddaughter on Interstate 10 westbound in Florida near Flat Creek Road on cruise control at 77 miles per hour passing a long line of semi-trailer trucks when this company's white pickup starts tailgating me. Apparently 77 mph was not fast enough. You can picture it--my whole review mirror was blotted out by the lifted-pickup's front grille--it's a large truck. I was passing the semi trucks, but apparently not quickly enough--at 77 mph--and this company's truck wanted to let me know that. After 30 seconds to a minute of tailgating me, the tailgating truck swerved right, stomped on the gas, then swerved left in front of me, cutting me off, and missing my front bumper by perhaps 5 ft. It was exceptionally close, endangering all of us in the car. And for what? The truck ended up for several minutes in front of us not going significantly faster. Apparently it just was upset by my being in front. It was pretty weird. Testosterone poisoning. And if you're going to behave like that, wouldn't you want to be anonymous rather than have your company's name advertised in block letters on the tailgate, like this one did? Not real bight. So that was my one encounter with College Pro Landscaping. Whether they do a good job landscaping I don't know, but the company is not very nice to fellow humans.
They cracked my windshield and I had 10 pictures of proof that my windshield was not broken when I arrived at work but it was broken after they finished cutting the grass that day, rocks in the grass, rocks in front othe parking spot, and of the landscapers still in the parking lot. They pulled a Shaggy "It wasn't me!", instead of accepting responsibility.
We used College Pro to expand our driveway, because we were tired of playing “musical cars” in our single car driveway. We also knew we would need a retaining wall of some kind because of how the land slopped next to our current driveway. After calling several other companies that we had to grill to return our calls, we stumbled on College Pro and I’m so happy we did! Hannah on their team is AMAZING and deserves major kudos for helping us with our project. We had to get the driveway permitted and she helped us with the entire process, even going back and forth with the city to get it to fit with their regulations and our needs. The team that did the work was always friendly and managers frequently stopped by to check on progress and make sure we were happy. I’m so glad we chose to work with them and we are so happy with our new expanded driveway!
I have used this company for a few years now for my lawn maintenance service. The guys are very professional, respectful and above all they do great work. I have been blessed with the same lead man and crew for a while now and they never leave anything undone. They make sure I am happy with the work before they leave. These guys work hard and I really appreciate the work they do!

Heather and Aber were able to reschedule for me last minute as I was having professional photos taken of my home. They were very responsive and were able to meet my needs.
I had College Pro install. Y new patio and walkway recently. They were very good to work with, answered my questions and made great suggestions that improved the final project. Their workers were very courteous and went out of their way to help me (even went so far as to make sure gaps in my fence gates were filled in each day to allow my small dogs to roam).
College Pro did my pine straw island last year and did a fantastic job. Today they installed 6 yards of black mulch. We are more than pleased with every aspect of doing business with College Pro.

Drivers of the business don t know how to adequately drive landscaping vehicles driving an incorrect lanes no turn signals and going 41 miles an hour in a 55 driving in the left lane holding up 22 cars of traffic

Totally disappointed I would never ever suggest anyone do business with these guys they did the landscaping at my house and for the money I m appalled. They did not place any landscape fabric down in the flower bed and now it s ravage by weeds they planted ferns and the type of ferns they planted are not sun tolerant so they died within weeks . When I called them to tell them what was happening they sent a maintenance team out and called me with a quote of $150 per hour for any additional services preposterous. Do not do business with this company. They are an overpriced lawn care business with sub par standards that underdeliver.

Worst company for landscaping/ yard work in the Athens area. They came out April 14th for a estimate which we paid for. It s now July and no one has came out through numerous phone calls and complaints. And their clueless office girl Stacey has no clue what she is doing and hasn t even put us on their work order board. This company is a complete JOKE! Spend your money else where!!!
Use ANYONE else!!! They loose your information and you will be out of money with no work done!

I choose college pro because they service my neighborhood lawn. The person I dealt with was more than helpful in getting what I needed done. However the persons that came out to do the job didn t do so well on my shrubs. I reached out to the representative he came out and told me about why my shrubs turn out the way they did, but was in agreement with me about the shrubs being uneven, and that he would send someone back out to fix it. It s been over 3 weeks and yes the company has served my lawn since then, but no shrub fixings. So I got someone else to fix it!!
They did my neighbors yard. Each time, they use the blowers and blow the grass clippings into MY yard instead of collecting them. This is very unprofessional and makes more work for me.
College Pro provided us with superior customer service and a product in our back yard of which we can be proud. They installed two large French drains and connected downspouts into the system. When there were hiccups along the way, Hannah and the project manager Michael were more than accommodating to meet our final expectations. These teams really listen to customers and spend time at project sites to make customers happy!
College Pro consistently does a very good job trimming bushes and ground cover for me. They clean up very well before leaving. The men are always courteous and professional.
I have used College Pro Landscaping for many years. Whenever I have needed a tree replaced or my irrigation system repaired they are quick, knowledgeable and professional. They are easy to get in contact with as well, giving professional advice for the scope of work I have needed.

Great Company
Terrible service! In June I asked them to give me s price on readying my sprinkler system that had not been used in years. I was fearful of a leak. The system was off. They came out and found leaks. I asked them to make the repairs. Not only did they never make the repairs but they left the system on - again it was turned off when they arrived. Now I m going to have to pursue the $1,000 water bill due to their negligence in court. Terrible service and unresponsive! Not even deserving of one star!
The workers at this company constantly blow sand, dirt and other debris on parked cars in areas where they are landscaping without thinking twice or exercising any discretion.
Terrible customer service and lawn care. We have had a window broken, ruts made in the yard from driving mower too fast, Internet line cut, and our back porch is covered in grass where they are too lazy to blow it off. None of which have been addressed or fixed at their expense. They are hired by our HOA otherwise we would not continue service. Multiple people in our neighborhood now cut their own lawns instead of having them cut theirs because their lawns look so bad. The company would rather just have your lawn done quickly than having it look good. Do not recommend!!!
Overall, these guys do a great job. I did write in to say that my back porch was not getting blown off when they were finishing up. Within 15 minute of my e-mail being sent, I had a call from management apologizing and saying they went send someone back out to blow off my porch. Of course, I wouldnt let them make a special trip for something as petty as that, but talk about service! A+ and stand up folks! Thanks for the hard work.
They defiantly need to remove Pro from their name. They are by far the worst landscape company in Athens. They should just stick to cutting apartment complexes etc. and stay away from homes. They hire cheap labor and it shows. They currently cut my yard because our HOA hired them for the whole subdivision or I would have fired them atleast 6+ times by now. I ve contacted them on multiple occasions about different issues, yet they still can t seem to figure it out. They always apologize, but the service never gets better and they never will replace anything they have damaged/destroyed. They would rather just give you the run around and waste more of your time. I did a better job cutting grass when I was 10 years old and I would suggest anyone that wants their yard to look decent then you need to call someone else. Cutting grass is a very very simple job, but they still cannot seem to figure it out.
College Pro Landscaping has been doing my yard for years. Everytime I have ever called there the staff has been very helpful. Not only do the do my yard work, we had them build a retaining wall and also a paver patio. They do excellent work. We are very please with the way everything has turned out. College Pro installed a brick wall separating outdoor living spaces. Beautiful work delivered as promised. Customer Service is excellent. Highly recommend College Pro for all landscape needs.
I have had them do work in my yard several times for scalping and clean ups. They do a great job every time; in fact they over deliver taking care of some of the smaller details others would just let go because it wasnt in the job order You need yard work? You cant go wrong with these guys.
The worst Landscaping I ever seen in my life I dont know if theyre mad or something but every week they come to clean my yard they shouldnt blow all of my potted flowers everywhere and just leave them there without a care in the world!
