We had ideas for what we wanted for our backyard landscaping and patio design and the owner and his team brought those ideas to life and totally transformed our backyard. It looks amazing! Richard is very easy to reach, very kind, and always able to return calls. The team does such great work and is very respectful and responsive. We were so pleased that we have now hired them to do our lawn care and maintenance.

We have been very happy with RJ's since we started using them for our lawn care and lawn maintenance. We contract with them for mowing, mulching, fertilizing, in-ground irrigation system and most recently some pond maintenance. They are extremely responsive recently coming by to check on the sprinkler system which was going to be disturbed by road construction and suggesting that they could come and move it temporarily. We chose not to do that but are regretting that decision now. If you need a comprehensive lawn service, you will be happy with RJ's.

We have had RJ and his crew do quite a bit of work on our property. He has always been responsive and willing to meet to go over the plans. In the winter, they help keep my driveway accessible since it is quite steep and long. I’m able to accomplish much of the plowing, but they’ve been helpful keeping it salted when it’s really icy!

FOLLOW UP: Spoke with the owner, Richard, earlier today. It was concluded there was a mix up on receiving the quote. Hopefully, the company will change its internal policy to ensure the customer received AND signed the contract/quote. NO WORK SHOULD BE PERFORMED until then. Moving forward, Richard was helpful in resolving the issue. After discussion, we came to an agreement. He was professional and courteous, no yelling or bullying. Having said that, I won't use the company as they are too far from me (25 miles) and that really racks up the "trip charge". Additionally, some of the other "fees" that were added were steep as well. So, just do a thorough analysis when reviewing their quotes. ===================================== When I originally called to get an estimate, I was never told there was a "trip charge" on top of the labor charge. This was expensive. Nor was the discussion on the part for the pump was forthcoming, i.e., was it mandatory, do I want it done or just move on and repair the sprinkler heads, if needed. Furthermore, I told them the wooden base the pump sat on was broken. Gave them heads up to ensure they had the necessary part for it. This was ignore as they did not bring any extra parts for this. I was told, "Oh, they carry all kinds of stuff to do repairs/replacement". Well, I'm not sure how many companies carry around extra pieces of wood in their truck. In my opinion, they just wanted to make an unnecessary trip where as all of this could have been done on one trip. As far as putting the screen on the pump, I would have put this on hold until later, figuring another trip would have definitely added big bucks to the job. After I received the invoice, I contacted the office. I questioned the "trip charge" fee and other charges on the invoice. In asking questions, I sure got the "tap dance". Couldn't pin down the answer, had to ask several times for clarification. Not comfortable at all with this company. Time for me to shop around for other irrigation companies. This company is way too expensive for me.

Last week, the professional landscape crew from RJ's Property Maintenance came and performed a number of improvements to my yard including: Taking down a leaning tree Repairing a stone retaining wall Delivered and installing beautiful mulch Removed a tree stump and root Trimming dead pine tree limbs All work and clean up was completed to our utmost satisfaction, in a timely and professional manner. I highly recommend the services of this business!!!!!!
