Great price for the quality of the work. They saved us money rebuilding our irrigation system by using more of the existing system than we originally thought possible. Not sure everyone would have gone to the lengths they did to deliver for less than the agreed upon price. Very good onsite.team. Nice to use a family company.

Update! Another great job by Grasshopper! Response and repair was so fast and Steve and Marie really made things happen. So glad to have Grasshopper serving Sierra Vista Weve used Grasshopper for years and have always found them to be professional, thorough and very fair. Recently, they exceeded expectations by returning to repair a previous water feature project they completed. Unfortunately, there were issues that occurred and rather than charge us, they assumed the cost to repair. Steve led the project and Marie made the decision to assume the additional costs. Taking responsibility, these days, is so important and we and the many folks that use Grasshopper are lucky to have them. Bravo, Team Grasshopper!

We had some rodents chew through some of the pipes of our irrigation system. The guys who came out were super friendly and knowledgeable, quick and efficient. They answered our questions about how the system worked and set it to run for us. Would definitely recommend them!

We purchased a new home in November of last year, and like with almost all new builds our yard was a blank slate. We received multiple estimates and Grasshopper was able to give us the best value for what we were wanting. The team that came out was super patient, they even accommodated some last minute changes we wanted to make to where the grass was going to be placed. We are repeat customers. We had irrigation issues and Grasshopper sent a crew out to fix our several leaks and a broker sprinkler head. They repaired our issues and left with the yard looking nothing had been done after all the digging that was needed. We strongly recommend Grasshopper.

I have used Grasshopper Landscaping and Maintenance for a couple years now. I have always been happy with the service, the product (flag poles in the past) and tree trimming and tree removal in the present. Very professional, the office staff, the workers, all are friendly and professional. Timely service also.

Were here in a few hours to fix our leaking pipe.

My first red flag should have been a $60 non refundable consult fee. Consults should always be free. Then the estimate came through for a small yard 1500sf they wanted to charge $188 to spray weeds x four. I said no how about something simple to put that $60 towards something else. They came back with a $60 service call fee. So $60 to come to your house then a charge for service. It was around $140 to show me how to turn my sprinklers on!? This company is too unnecessarily expensive and doesnt disclose up front that theres a $60 service fee.

Ladies on the phone are super nice. The estimate is a joke. I paid $50 for Damon to give me the same drawing I gave him except mine was nicer. My quote said the Turf would look amazing all year and I was quoted for a $3k decorative block to cover my propane tank problem is I never was asked what materials or design I wanted. Then I was quoted for tan gravel I never asked for. Both gravel quotes did not specify how much gravel Im paying for and how much is labor. I keep asking and get the run around. I asked many question about my $50 quote and Damon refuses to answer these easy questions I paid for. And telling me turf will be pretty is insulting. Do I get that type of quote because I m a girl? The quote seems outrages in price and maybe this is why I can t get answers to my questions. I basically donated $50 to the company because they didn t do anything for me except redo my image crappier and insult me in an overpriced estimate. I heard from many these people are overpriced so now they have money of mine and did nothing for me. Google Damon you will see he is over glorified

I contacted Grasshopper after speaking with a friend who used them. The entire process was exactly how I imagined. The owner came by initially and we talked about what I wanted, he measured, had samples of the materials they use, which helped me to select the appropriate materials. They showed up on the day selected and got to work immediately, they kept me posted on what was happening, and to be honest, they went above and beyond what I expected. They are true professionals and were a pleasure to work with them.

We were very pleased with the work they did for us. They were professional, courteous and on time. Got the job done and cleaned up afterwards. They even blew dust off our neighbors cars before they left! Would highly recommend them for any of your landscaping projects!

I contacted grasshopper to repair a broken irrigation system in my yard. They were able to do the work the next day when I couldn t find anyone else to do it within a week. Their work was fast and very well done, but a bit on the pricey side in my opinion. However, as my dad taught me, you get what you pay for! I m quite pleased with the finished product and would recommend Grasshopper Landscaping for any job.

This company is awesome. Henry and Philip did a wonderful job--given the obstacles they faced LOL. Their bush/brush hog was too large to get to the yard. Henry did wonderfully with a weed wacker...I hope he had someone to massage his shoulders when he got home. They truly went above and beyond my expectations for the job done. It took a little longer before I got the appointment, and it was a little pricier than I had expected.... But all was great!! I am very happy.

Grasshopper is a landscaping company that not only accomplished that, they did so in an affordable and reliable way. The most reliable and professional landscaping company in Sierra Vista hands down. I called two other landscaping companies and arranged for estimates, but they never showed. Grasshopper showed up when I called them (granted, you have to pay for an estimate, but they knock that off the work if you go with them) and their work was professional. They ground 3 stumps on my property and cleaned everything up afterwards. You cant even tell they were there. I will definitely use them again. Thank you!

We had Grasshopper do a complete backyard landscape job. This included proper drainage, irrigation and a gorgeous yard! Its exactly what we wanted and we are so excited. Its beautiful. Cant say enough good stuff about Grasshopper!!

I have spent over $5000 with this company from April till September 2021 and they are very very expensive, did not provide the flowers I had requested and was quoted by Damon and were not reliable. Never Never again will I use their services.

they butchered my mesquite trees instead of trimming them. They did not complete the work, then argued it wasnt on the contract. They failed to cleaned up weeds in a decorative grass plant. They did not take out some bushes that we had asked for. Called them and they came out again, and again refused to cut some weeds and told us again it wasnt in contract. We called owner. He didnt return calls. I would never use them again, and I would never refer to them. Id suggest that they are too expensive and dont do the work. I had high hopes for them. Theyve been dashed

I didnt have a clear vision for my half-acre back yard, but I knew I wanted cobblestone pathways - so I could walk everywhere barefoot. I knew I needed something extraordinary to match the caliper of my three-thousand gallon pond. I wanted curves and circles.No straight lines I told Damon. Damon drew pictures and we hashed ideas while we walked the property...several times... so I could see the ideas in his head. Well, let me tell you what I got: Fifty-seven tons of winding, meandering curvy connecting paver pathways. Circle patios with stone benches. Boulders in colors the likes of which I have never seen. A forest of grown trees, shrubs, bushes, and flowering purple lantana. Stone pots and planters everywhere. They built the largest most beautiful riverbed that surpassed the hopes and dreams that my Bill had before he died. But mostly I want to tell you about Taylor, Casey and Miguel. These three boys were the hardest workers Ive ever seen. They were meticulous in execution and cleanup. They asked when a decision needed to be made about where I would like something and they listened to every suggestion I made.They went above and beyond the scope of the project with extras. I am beaming from ear to ear and my heart is full of happy with the transformation this crew made to my dirt- filled spiky- grassed yard. My pond finally belongs in this beautiful oasis that Grasshopper Landscapers made possible. Thank you, thank you.

Didnt get any work done from grasshopper but my 92 year-old mother-in-law why is broke down on the side of the road on Cherokee just before Buffalo soldiers trail in a red Cadillac with a flat tire one of the grasshopper employees in a grasshopper truck stop to see if she was okay she let them know that I was on my way Im her son-in-law and then gave her a bottle of water to hold her over until I got there Top notch top quality right on thank you very much you dont find that integrity that much anymore in people

tl;dr-- Tree trimming disaster. Im sure this company must be good at some things, but tree trimming is not one of them. If you just need your trees trimmed, dont pay more for a bad job. Look elsewhere. Reducing my rating from 2 stars to 1. ************ April Review: While the guy that came out to give an estimate was courteous and professional, its clear they dont talk to the people that actually do the work. The estimator pointed out past trimming mistakes on my other trees that were trimmed wrong, but when I examined the work on the trees that Grasshopper Landscaping did, there were exactly those mistakes and worse: torn branches, incomplete cuts, and cuts too far away from the main branch (looks like a bad amputation). It looked like a storm had attacked my once beautiful tree. They put down more rocks, and raked out the debris. That was done well. My irrigation system works now, but I had to ask multiple times over a couple of weeks to get someone to explain the changes they made, even though I had stressed and made clear this was a required part of the services I needed. There was no followup or report on the irrigation work. Even a call would have been fine, but they missed their appt with me, and I had to get time off from work twice just to speak to someone. Now there are issues with over-watering or a broken line but I dont want to call them because it will cost even more time and headaches. There was no follow up after the work, and for every interaction or call, I talked to someone different. I never talked to the same person twice. They are expensive. I paid more $$$ believing from other reviews the work would be high quality, excellent, and customer service would be great, but I was disappointed. When I voiced my complaints and frustrations there was no apology or offer to fix it. I wont use them again. ************ MAY UPDATE: It takes a negative review to get action! Grasshopper Landscaping came out and issues were photographed, recorded, and notated. He agreed it was not a good tree trim job. I was hopeful the repairs would mean I could give a better rating. Results: Many of the issues were fixed, but just as many were not. I think they also cut off even more branches(!?), and left the same mistakes as were done on the first round of the job. More stripped bark and torn branches, and branch-stubs sticking out. The work was not supervised, and performed by the same person who had made the mistakes the first time, even after I requested a different trimmer. This seems not be a detail-oriented enterprise. The irrigation system does seem to be fixed. And as mentioned, about half the issues were corrected, but Im ready to cut my losses.

I watched a few videos and I thought I could do it myself.... but at what cost... not just the expense of the project, or the need to rent some equipment to make it that much easier/faster, but the toll on my time...and my body! What wouldve taken me 3-4 very long days took them less than 6 hours. I knew the finished product would be better if completed by the professionals and I was right! Grasshopper did an amazing job preparing the site and installing my artificial turf. From start to finish, they were interactive, personable and professional. I look forward to utilizing their services again as I continue to improve upon my current oasis.

The ladies at the office dealing with scheduling and customer service were positive, and always on top of any and all questions or concerns I had throughout the whole;e process.

People warned us not to call Grasshopper, they told us they were too expensive. We called anyway and they gave us 2 estimates, one for about $16000 and another for $26000. We ended up calling an independent plumber and got the job done for under $3000. Huge savings and great job.

Damon, Marie, and the team at Grasshopper Landscaping were fantastic to work with. During our artificial grass and flagstone backyard project, they took the time to understand our goals and what we wanted. Their attention to detail meant so much to us. And we love how this 15x20 foot patch of artificial grass (with the flagstone pathways) adds an extra dimension to our backyard. We would recommend Grasshopper to anyone considering a landscaping project at their home.

Grasshopper installed a telescoping flagpole today. Their service couldnt have been better. Professional, friendly and worked hard to get it done. Our watering system would not shut off. Grasshopper got us on the calendar as quick as they could, they communicated regularly with us so we all were on the same sheet of music as far as when the repair would happen, what it would cost, and how the Grasshopper team would interact with us during this COVID environment. They quickly identified the issue, replaced the bad part and checked the system end-to-end to make sure it was watering everything appropriately.

Grasshopper was amazing! We own a home in Sierra Vista but leave in KY we were able to coordinate our landscaping job via emails and telephone calls. We coordinated the time for the job and advise them we would be there only for that week, they started the job on time and finished it on time. They have a wonderful office staff and they did an EXCELLENT job! Highly recommend them!

Weve tried two other local landscapers, but this is now our go-to. We had a huge tree in the backyard uproot and threaten to take out our neighbors roof. Grasshopper landscaping did an assessment the day we contacted them and had the huge tree and two other diseased trees down within a week. Their price was 5 times less than what I expected based on previous landscaping costs too! Im thrilled with this company.

Contacted this place to offer a donation of flags, windsocks and flag poles etc. They asked if I could send some pictures. I did. Didnt want them to be thrown away or end up in a landfill. Never heard a word. Couldnt even respond with a no thanks.

From start to finish Grasshopper did the one thing I insist on: sweating the details. From the initial consultation through the job completion, they made sure we had input for everything from concrete work through plant placement. There were no complications and the workers were 100% focused on what needed to be done. In two days, our gravel pit was transformed into a pleasing, relaxing space with over 50 new plants and an irrigation system to keep them watered. In the front, old vegetation was removed and new plants along with driveway pavers for a fresh look. The price was right; there were no issues and we are happy campers!

From the inspection and quote to the repair, everything was handled politely, professionally and done just the way it was described. The two man crew that performed the repairs were absolutely top notch. They explained everything they were going to do and went about doing it in a very professional manner. Grasshopper did a medium sized commercial job for my mother. The cost was about what we expected, (but not cheap, because you get what you pay for). Bought a HUD Repo house that had sat unoccupied for months, maybe even a whole year. With everything needing fixing, the yard fell to the bottom half of the To-Do list. Out come monsoons and up come the weeds. Yard turned into a jungle. Called Grasshopper as the first company, had them do a quote and ended up hiring them. They did a fantastic job! Even had a neighbor yell out across the street that very day when I got home, complimenting their work, saying it looks like a new yard/house. Price was reasonable, office staff were incredibly friendly. Overall very satisfied and would recommend to others with no hesitation. One other small detail: they always picked up the phone. It seems so insignificant, but in dealing with dozens of companies/contractors in the past few months, answering the phone seems to be an impossible task. It was incredibly satisfying to be able to speak with someone during business hours at Grasshopper during the few times I called.
