Heckman & Son Lawn Care has been very reliable in maintaining the lawn at my office. They show up as agreed and take care in trimming around my building and plants. They are also reasonably priced. I highly recommend them for lawncare and landscaping.
Randy has provided excellent service at a very affordable price. We have used him all year round for 5 years now!
Randy delivered bark on April 12, 2024 as ordered. However we needed 1.5 yards more bark & ordered it to be delivered on WED May 15, 2024. No bark was ever delivered and no text or eplaination as to what the issue was. I texted Randy & rescheduled and confirmed delivery for WED May 22. Again no bark was delivered on May 22 or 23 and again no text was sent as to what the problem was. Randy was recommended to me, but we will find someone else!
Don’t waste your time. I called and left a message per the voicemail, left my message and NEVER received a call back. Tried calling back the following three days and it was more of the same. Apparently they are doing well enough to not need any new customers. Not really a solid business model.
I live near a property they manage, holy cow if y'all watch them plow you would never let them on your property up curbs onto sidewalks with the plows all over the road trying to get different angels lol it's honestly funny. The village of Howard city pays way too much for their services but hey he is on the city board so 🤷 they broke my window on my porch door because their worker faces the shoot on the mower towards my house every pass and they shot a piece of metal left over from Dean's Excavating when they did a water main replacement on my street through my glass door and didn't do anything about it the city manager said prove it... The dirt field across the road got to 10 inches tall high last year 🤷
Randy and his team have done a great job for our businesses with lawn care, fence installation and snow plowing needs. They are very responsive.
We've used Heckman & Son Lawn Care and Snowplowing since the 90's. Randy Heckman and his team have always done an exceptional job for us. Pricing is GREAT. They arrive on time, do the job, and clean up the mess--all with a a friendly, professional attitude from the entire team.
Awful service had to call many times just to get mulch delivered after I had already paid for it. Not professional at all. I know many other people in this town that use his businesses as well that have had the exact same luck. I will never ever recommend his funeral business is snow plow business is landscape business to anyone.
Randy is so patient with me I always have many questions and he gives me very good suggestions and is very cost friendly

Never showed up to mow consistently. Constantly texting just to see if they were going to show up. Terrible service.

Well they never showed up they plowed me once but said that I never talked to the owner but I did and that they could fit me in but what if they couldnt then where would I be. Next year I will go with someone more reliable

Tried to request their services for a simple lawn cleanup. After a few delays they gave me a day that they would be out to give me a quote. I was home the entire day but nobody stopped over. Then i get a message on facebook around 8:30 that evening stating that they had been over and gave me a price over messenger to which i agreed to (knowing they had not been over to look at the property). After several more delays (some due to weather) they came out when i was not home but left without doing any work. I received another message on facebook from them stating that they had come out but were confused as to what i wanted done as there was a fallen tree towards the back of my property and that it would be an extra charge. I have no idea how there could have been any confusion if they truthfully came out to give me an actual quote which they did not. They blindly quoted me for a property they never seen. When i brought this to their attention they said that their boss was the one that came out....soo he never mentioned the tree? And you never thought to call him when you got confused at the property? It was a small job and they treated it like one. It could have went into a year round service but they didnt have the foresight to see that and they lied. They lost my business over something so simple.
