Royal Gardens in Hove

I was going to wait to leave a review until we had finished the planting and had a few more bits done and I could take some pictures, but I the Joe and his team at Royal Gardens did such a great job I just feel bad leaving it so long, will add some pictures at a later date. If you are looking for an experienced expert who will get the job done to a high standard and deliver on exactly what he has promised then don't look any further. Putting the quality of the work aside, which was excellent, what I really liked about dealing with Joe was the honesty and a genuine feeling he was giving me the best advise possible at all times definitely not trying to get as much money out of me as possible, or make his life easier. Another really important factor to the work Joe did was his team. The guys were lovely, we had a reasonably big job done and they were here for around 3 weeks and honestly it was a pleasure having them working on our home. They were very respectful and just genuinely nice lads you could have a chat with and completely trust to come in and out of your home whenever they needed to make drinks or use the toilet etc. Kind of missed them when they weren't here after they finished... lol Choosing a company to do a big project like this is daunting. We had our garden designed by another lovely person I will leave a glowing review for also, and she recommended Joe and Royal Gardens as the contractor she uses for her projects and honestly I think this as big a clue as you can have to know that this a professional contractor who will deliver you a great looking garden! Will definitely add some photos to this review when I the planting work has been finished so you can see the great job Royal Gardens did for us. Thanks again, Terry and family.

I'm going to basically repeat what everyone else has said: Joe and his team and professional, polite, hard working and very high quality. They remodelled our small(ish) city garden near Seven Dials, laid a herring bone brick patio, built a new set of brick steps, added large planters, laid a beautiful sandstone flag upper level. Joe helped with material choices, gave expert advice on the design, steered us away from doing a couple of stupid things (!), and gave good tips on planting for the remodelled area. Important to add: Royal Gardens were also no more expensive than a couple of other quotes we got, and I've no doubt they are the highest quality we could possibly have got. Also important: we were away for the first of the 2 weeks they were working, and when we got back our house was *cleaner* than when we'd left! Brilliant company, brilliant results.

Joe recently turfed my new build garden and he did a great job. Showed up the day after we got the keys as planned and did everything in time and within the quote. Would definitely use again if I redo the garden

Joe and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. Warm and friendly, helpful guidance from the beginning, great passion and work ethic, completed on time, great attention to the detail, brilliant communication all the way through. We’re so pleased with the garden and would recommend Royal Gardens to anyone. We’ll definitely use them again in the future.

I’ve worked with Joe and his company on multiple occasions. Projects have included new boundary fencing, installation of a main wooden gate and outside decking. His craftsmanship, attention to detail and pride in his work is evident. Customer satisfaction is immensely important at to him and there’s always excellent after care if the project warrants it. I’ve always been pleased with the excellent quality of work and believe you get what you pay for!

Our garden design included some challenging elements. Joe’s knowledge of and mastery of materials ensured that it was completed to the highest possible standard. We are so thrilled with the results.
