Excellent service as always from Gary. I messaged him to arrange for him to come and trim a tree in my garden and he was able to fit me in within a week. Great communication, great prices and he is very tidy, which is a huge selling point for me. I always recommend his services to friends and family. Really happy with the end result.
Gary has done several jobs for me. Power washing the front steps and back patio area; trimming back a large honeysuckle bush, and chopping off branches of a large pyracantha. He also dug out very stubborn roots of a large bush and repotted a rhododendron bush. He did all this on the hottest day of the year, cheerfully, and quickly, and for a very reasonable price. I was very happy with his work, and would certainly recommend him.
We've used Gary's services twice now and will keep doing so. He does such a great job with our privet hedge - we had let it get completely wild and now it looks beautiful and tidy. Gary is always responsive, reliable, and never leaves any mess behind. We'd highly recommend!
Gary thinned the crown of a trachycarpus and a couple of tall cordylines, shaped overgrown bushes. He has done a great job, including terrific tidying up afterwards. I would thoroughly recommend his services. Thank you so much, Gary!
Gary is such a nice guy. I’m really pleased with all the work he’s done for us. Regular lawn mowing, garden maintenance and pressure washing the patio. Gary did a thorough reshape of our massive boundary hedge today, which hadn't been touched for several years. He did a fantastic job and has left it looking really neat and tidy. Gary checked in with us as he worked to ensure we were happy with height, width and shape. He quoted quickly after a visit to our garden (and his quote was in line with our expectations), arrived when he said he would, worked efficiently, had all the proper-job tools and ladders needed, and took all waste away (he came with another worker which speeded things up). Gary was also super polite, friendly and respectful around our home. We'd totally and unhesitatingly recommend Gary, and have already planned for him to return when the hedge needs a trim.

Absolutely top notch work from Gary today on our hedge. It was really overgrown and out of shape, but Gary worked quickly and expertly to trim it back and shape it into the hedge shape it should be. Really really pleased to have found Gary Hall Garden Services. His work for us in our garden included pruning a huge awkward tree and trimming/shapeing 3 unruley shrubs. He has attention to detail, has done a fantastic job and left our garden completely free of any fallout from his works. Very very highly recommended.
Really impressed with Garys efficient way of dealing with my overgrown phormiums. He also dug up some unwanted old shrubs for me and took all the stuff away: would have taken me all day to do what he did in a couple of hours. I have already used him for gutter cleaning and he will come and redo my lawn in the Spring. Highly recommend.

Garry also managed some bushes at rear of garden one of which was a Mahonia and is full of prickles but he didnt find it a problem and its now looking good Coming back to clear the gutters as he did last Year I would certainly recommend Garry he is Polite on time and reasonable priced
Gary did a fantastic job trimming my olive tree. The tree had grown a lot and Gary spent a lot of time and care on it. He cleared out all the remaining leaves and left the garden and olive tree looking very beautiful. I can highly recommend Gary to take care of your garden!

I have used Gary twice now to power wash my garden which is all painted concrete. Being quite small there is a fair bit of furniture to move around to complete the job. Gary comes in and in no time at all is hosed up to the main and starts. Its quite a tough job as next doors trees overlap the old stone wall and leave mucky detritous all along one side but in no time at all its looking like new. Great job done with no fuss or palaver. On contact he is polite, professional and timely. I have to say I cant fault either him or his work. We will definitely be using him again. I recommend with 5 stars. Thanks Gary.
Gary came over this morning to tidy up my out of control Olive Tree. Communications were good, he turned up on time and did an excellent job in completely taming the tree and was very particular in getting the shape right. It looks brilliant. He cleared the cuttings up and some of the stuff he cleared up was mine! Good price, great guy - throughly recommend.
Gary responded to my request quickly. Came to my house on the same day & gave a quote for getting rid of driveway weeds & power washing. Advised about putting down weed remover (which I was fine with, just need to look at our paths around Brighton & Hove with the council not taking care of them) He came back 2 days later to spray & then 14 days later to power wash & then sand my drive. He kept me informed at all times. Was on time, polite & friendly. He gave advice on keeping my driveway weed free. My driveway now looks new. Very happy. Would definitely recommend Gary.

We have used Gary twice now and would unhesitatingly recommend him. He is very professional and offers good advice regarding the work being done. He is punctual, polite and his rates are very reasonable. He has just transformed a very overgrown and rundown garden for us where we really didn t know where to start and it is now a neat, tidy and inviting space. He has also pruned and shaped a holly tree for us and done some gutter clearing for us and our neighbours. All the work has been of an excellent standard.
Gary maintains the lawns for both my neighbours and me. He shows great professionalism in the way he conducts business. Everything is above board. From the quality of work perspective, Gary will ensure the work is done well and left clean. Nothing is required to be done afterwards from the customers perspective. Gary has been regularly pressure washing our massive decking area and pruning our huge bay tree now for the last year or so. He has also treated our block paving for weeds and resanded. I wouldnt trust anyone else with the jobs now as every time he comes ( usually when Im not in) it feels like a magical transformation has occurred with no trace of him left behind. He is super tidy, efficient and work is reasonably priced. Cant fault his work!

Gary did a really nice job neatening up the garden of a house I just bought. It had lots of overgrown tropical plants and a couple of hedges, and hes managed to trim them back in a natural way, so theres loads of space now but still plants look great.

Gary is a speedy wizard with all the tools!! He sorted out my lawn which had begun to resemble a hayfield. All cuttings removed too. He also popped over to check whether my guttering needed attention....he advised not necessary at the moment. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend him.
Gary did a great job clearing The Hanging Gardens of Babylon from our gutters, with care, determination and good humour after discovering part of the gutter was blocked by a broken tile. Very honest about checking beforehand which sections did and didnt need clearing. Use of vacuum system avoided need for costly access tower on a narrow sloping site. Thoroughly recommended.
Gary did a superb job clearing our gutters from moss. He even put a GoPro on a poll so we could see what it was like before and after. He was punctual and friendly. Highly recommended.
