Tru-Green is always on time. Service man is very courteous on arrival. They do a great job for my property.

Overall not pleased. I have had better results treating my lawn myself. I have had enough of scheduling issues, lack of communication, and actual coverage of my lawn. Trying to call and cancel Trugreen is very similar to that episode of Friends when Chandler wants to quit the Gym. I picture myself as Chandler repeating that I want to quit the gym. I say this because you can only cancel your TruGreen service via a phone call during weekdays. You have to talk to a person.

Tech gave me a thorough explanation of what he would be doing to the lawn. He also had some helpful tips. Since contracting TruGreen i can see a big improvement to my lawn which was in sad shape.

Loving my relationship with TruGreen Lawn & (outside) Pest Control right now. I will definitely be giving an updated review in roughly a year as I know results take time, but the gentlemen that have been assigned to each of my services have all been very nice, professional, & thorough with explaining whats being done.

Do not hire this company! I hired them 4 months ago because I started seeing some bare spots in my backyard. The specialist came out and said oh yeah we can definitely fix that. Were responsible for your lawn now. Donr worry. Here we are 4 months later after multiple treatments, complaints, managers and other specialists coming out - not only has there been no improvement but it has gotten worse! Each person is giving information that contradicts what the last person said (one guy saying they dont help grass grow in barren places and another guy saying they do). One of Tru Greens recommendations was to re-sod the area. Really? Thats just covering up the problem and the sod would die because soil issues underneath. Its ridiculous! I finally hired a real expert who immediately assessed that the problem and recommended a viable solution that wouldnt make him ANY money but was the best way to fix the problem. I cancelled my TruGreen account and now they dont want to give me a full refund (surprise) even though they failed to deliver on their promise to fix my issue from the beginning. All they care about is money but its obvious that they lack any real expertise in this field. Theyll just do a bunch of treatments whether you need them or not, and bill you. Please do your research and make sure you find a company with real lawn care experts.

have been using your service for many years, but the last application that was applied was not good, and Im using the term lightly. On 5/30/2024 a application was put on my front lawn and the next day it look horrible. 3/4 of my lawn was brown or died. What was put on my lawn a grass killer!!!. Im very upset about this and want this issue rectified ASAP!!!! I cant believe this !!!

Christopher introduced himself when he arrived since he had not been to my home before. He was very nice and answered my questions about a couple spots in my yard. He explained what he was going to do and finished promptly.

All of the services are great, but I am especially appreciating the mosquito control service this summer. The monthly service is making such a difference and weve been able to enjoy our backyard this summer.

Never actually used the service but just inquired about the cost. The lowest cost was like $450 for like less then 1000 ft2. They then keep calling you daily even using different numbers.

After 1 year, my yard doesnt look as good as it did before, patches in my yard they said would be fixed with their products never got fix, also had pest/insect control which didnt put a dent in the pests in my yard either, Im a week from my prepaid year date, never was notified other than 2 missed emails, no calls about they were going continue services. When I called about the 2 charges, (that didnt go through since i got a new card) they told me in the fine print it tells you its a continuous plan, but i explained my understanding when I talked to the branch manager was 1 year prepaid there was no mention of it being a continous plan, I had no interest in continuing services and Im responsible to pay for the services I didnt ask for because whats in the contract . Customer service was nice enough all around, did offer to cover half the charges. Still not happy about being responsible for services I never asked for or was warned about. Overall I wouldnt recommend trugreen to anyone

This experience has been a horror show for me. I call this company in October to help me get rid of this ugly grass called Dallis grass. The assured me that they and assist me with this matter. INSTEAD, TG killed all of my other grass in my yard but only Weeded and Fed the Dallis Grass. Now, four months later, instead of removing this one small area of this grass in my front yard, now this nasty grass is a lust green color and has spread throughout my front yard. To make matter worse, a tech came to my house yesterday and argued with me that this Dallis Grass was really St Augustine grass. After tussling this this expert from Minnesota who guaranteed me that, because he was from up north and he knew grass, after I insist that he Google images of Dallis Grass, he lo and behold that yes he was wrong in his assessment. Yes, they have techs that do not know their grass business.

This was a complete waste of money. My lawn looks exactly the same after 9 treatments as it did when they started. There are still weeds and bare spots everywhere. Save your money and get a local person to do it for you.

This was my first time using their service and I can say first hand that the tech Christon was very great to work with. We got straight to the point with what was wrong with the lawn and he explained to me how the process works and even gave me the names of what the weeds were. He advised on what to do after the treatment as well and answered all the questions or concerns I had. I have a dog and wanted to make sure it was safe for him and he said it was but to wait at least 20 minutes. I can t wait to have my lawn looking beautiful and the best on our street! I am hoping to see results of a better lawn and giving the company a benefit of the doubt despite all the bad reviews on here, I am hopeful.

This lawn company is a scam! I paid full year from June 2023-jume2024 I just cancelled the remaining services and they only refunded 2session back.told me cus I only used 6 session out of the 8 for 2023 they refunded what I didn t use WHAT ABOUT THE REMAINING MONTHS INPAID FOR IN 2024! Try green said the way they do it is 8 sessions a year so in 2023 I only used 6 so that s why it s 2 sessions refunded I said okay what if I didn t cancel you re telling me that the year I was told I paid for 2023 -2024 I would still only have the 2 sessions left so from what I m understanding I wont have anything left till june2024 that I paid upfront for!! Don t do business with them they tell you one thing and go against! PATHETIC COMPANY! Service is terrible

They literally never showed up, I had the tracker so I knew when they were coming ..it would say they arrived, I would look outside and no one there, then it said yard service complete yet still no one at my house. My yard looked like horrible, you could not see any grass ..it was weeds only! To top it off when I told the TruGreen guy to end my service after 5 months of No Service, the Lawn service guy tried to say I called him out his name, not only are they dishonest but not very bright the whole conversation was on my ring doorbell. I want every penny of my money back, plus I want to make an example of these dishonest, no good sycophants. What 5 months of TruGreen lawn service looks like

Was outside working man came around spraying a little water on the grass that he was killing weeds where there were no weeds and still cost $75. This aint nothing but a rip off.

Tre the technician was very professional, looked over the concerns I have about the bare spots in my lawn, made a diagnosis of the concerns and treated them right on the spot. He had the correct products and equipment on his truck to provide the services needed. He was very proficient, polite and made me feel more comfortable about my decision to use TruGreen. Yumontre came to my front door and I greeted him there. He explained what he d be applying today, and I told him I made sure one of the gates to my backyard was open and I d open the other one on the other side. I pointed out a couple of weeds I noticed in my yard, and he indicated that what he was putting down (iron) would help with those. He was very businesslike in how he approached his work and got it done in short order. He did a great job!

I have not yet used the service, but I simply responded to a mailing and was pressured and harassed from the initial telemarketer to get the quote to the person who would be actually performing the service. The telemarketer tried to force me to get my husband on the phone to approve the transaction. I didnt accept and then she said it a second time, I replied, no hes driving and I dont call or text him during those times. She continued to say, weve been treating lawns for 50 years and will make sure your grass is lush, thick, green, and weed free. We can rush to get out there within the next 8-10 days and you wont have to pay anything today. She said that at least 3 times during the call. Im thinking! Maam, please stop being a salesperson and be a person and listen to what Im saying! I was simply calling to do research and get pricing not to be strong armed into buying a service. Then the other man follows up and I tell him, I learned that Ill need to spend tens of thousands on 2 new AC units, and that treating grass is not going to be a priority right now. He acts like he didnt hear me and just kept talking about the grass. I again tried to let him, courteously, that I would not be moving forward with the service. He said is your property residential or commercial. Sadly, I had to just release the call. I felt trapped, and didnt want to do it but had no choice. Please train your people to eliminate the pressure and honor what the potential customer is saying. Very unprofessional behavior.

I was told they guarentee their work. Also when I called to sign up they encouraged me to prepay for the year and save money for the annual service. After 7 months I called to cancel and they gave me a refund of 4.99, when I paid over 850.00 for the annual Lawn service. The claim was what I had prepaid for was all used up. Yet when I signed up it was called the annual service. very deceptive. Not please with the explanation and not being totally honest.

Great work answering all calls and questions

So, I have used this company for 15 years. My payment was on a automatic payment. The credit card expired that they had on file so I got a late bill in the mail. I called them numerous times and can never get anyone on the phone..finally they called me and I paid the bill and ended up canceling the service (mostly because they have not been out in months and I see no difference in my yard). The system continued to charge me automatically, but not on a card just on the system they use. They sent me another late payment bill a couple of months later even though I canceled the service and they never came out again. After a couple of weeks of talking to the customer service asking for proof of work I get a collections letter from a dept collector. They sold off my dept as bad dept already. No talking, no proof just sold it off.....This is a bad company to do this....its now on my credit report as bad dept and its just going to be a collections battle with a company who only wants the money....stay away! Go somewhere else.

Reliable and easy way to make sure my lawn is fertilized, weed controlled and appropriately insecticided.

Eric listened to my concerns as prior treatment was not effective. He did a treatment that was not done before. He used a spreader and hand held sprayer which the other treatment was out of the truck per a hose only. Hope this works as the weeds are bad

Their reviews speak for themselves, dont believe their commercials or sales pitch. I used them for 6 months with no results. It was a complete waste of money. They only spent 10 minutes at my house and charged $70, regardless of the plan I selected. I highly recommend staying away from TrueGreen. Two thumbs down.

Helped my lawn grow back after a blistering summer

I had two different services performed in the same day. The lawn was first assessed and treatment performed by the first technician. Within a few hours, the second technician came and performed aeration on the lawn to improve water and nutrients absorption. I learned so much in such a short time. While, I have normally maintained my own lawn, sometimes you just have to call in the professionals. The sales representative provided several different payment options and was very understanding and patient while I made my decision, which is a rarity these days!

Not just because of me but because I read the bad reviews and didnt believe them and ended up paying thousands of dollars for a whole year and my yard got worse and weeds were wors than ever......so please DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and DO NOT HIRE THEM. You are better off looking for the best lawncare app and DIY or hire a local guy.

We were about to sign up and were asking questions to make sure it was the service we wanted to go with. We asked if the tech would come out and meet with us the first time and come on days we would be home and the sales rep said no, they come on their schedule. So we decided that this wasnt for us. We ended the call when the rep went full tilt high pressure sales. Then throughout the day 4 more sales reps called trying to pressure us into buying. Then another one the following day. It borders on harrassment with these characters. The way I see it, if they need high pressure sales, they arent a company I want to work with.

We have a dog in our back yard, which is completely fenced in and accessible only through a locked gate. All of this was noted when we signed up, and was recorded in TruGreens records. So for the first service, we expected someone to knock on the door to be allowed in the back yard. My wife waited at home for this very reason. Instead of a knock on the door, we receive an electronic notice explaining that service had been provided, and we see that a TruGreen sign has been planted in the front yard. There is no way that anyone went into the back yard. Thankfully, the customer service representative was very understanding and didnt give me a hard time about receiving a refund (we had paid in advance for the whole year).

Trugreen calls you, sets up plan, and doesnt call you back or follow through, until you cancel service... they .are promises and dont keep them. Ive used them for the last few months... the picture below is their idea of weed clearing.

Before TruGreen I tried an all natural provider. That did not work. I always was having fungus and insect issues. Now my lawn and shrubs look good and if a fungus does come up between treatments, they send out a Tech to take care of it. Im pleased and recommend TruGreen Lawn Care to other homeowners.

I ve used TruGreen for the last 4 summmers , but for whatever reason this year the service has turned out bad. Me and wife take very good care of our yards . We make sure the blades are sharp and grass is watered . This year my yard has not looked any better sense they started . In fact it looks worse. They sent someone out to take a look at it and all he did was take a couple pictures and leave . I m not happy at all .

Not a fan of their predatory techniques to keep you as a customer by promising one thing and backdooring you with a financial obligation. I attempted to cancel and was told by the sales team that I had one more treatment left and it was to be discounted and then my contract would be cancelled. I agreed to finish out my contract only to learn they renewed it without my knowledge. Granted its my bad that I rarely checked the account where I set up for automated Bills and didnt catch the extra charges sooner, but overall I feel like they sneakily found a way to keep me in my contract. Further, my lawn looks exactly the same, mosquitos still biting and my trees still have bugs. One star for a lesson learned about quality and customer service.

Yard treatment for mosquitos. Treatment is very effective and when I have experienced minimal insects between scheduled treatments, they responded to my request for re-treatment.

Have had Trugreen for almost 2 years now and have seen zero results. I have called them numerous times, they schedule a free service to make customer happy but free service entails spraying of maybe water maybe extremely diluted cheap and incorrect chemicals because no mater how many free services you get the results are zero. Have to be on phone with them for 30mins each time to schedule a free useless service. Each agent gives contradicting information. Stay away from this company. If anyone is interested in my lawn pictures and my trugreen tickets I can email them to you lest trugreen say this review is not from a current customer.

No improvement to my yard, and the tech didnt contact me until 3rd or 4th visit when I asked to contact me prior to and during each visit. No contract so I was able to cancel without any fees or issues. They do call you back after canceling attempting to get you to sign back on and will call and call until you pick up and say not thanks.

This is what you get when you use Truegreen. This started as a small patch; 6 calls later, over 3.5 weeks timeframe, I finally got Tom to come out to address this; as one can see my former beautiful lawn is no more!! I get to look at this throughout the entire Fall. You should see my mealy looking front yard after they applied Iron. Simply awful. The chain of command, from my first call, to the sixth call, what a joke!! Do not use them; I tried for one year and what they did in this timeframe just decimated my once lush and green lawn

They did lawn maintenance (weed control fertilization etc.) Ill just say Cameras tell the truth the service has very very much to be desired. Dont waste your money folks. Ive had them for about 8 months and my yard looks worse than when they starter and for sure worse than any of my neighbors yards and they dont use these so-called professionals. these guys just take your money and give you a wham bam thank you maam.

I have been using their services for 15 years they have always made sure I am taken care of and satisfied.

Professional Technician LaFeyette called ahead, and on arrival. He explained the purpose of his visit and answered all my questions. Highly recommend this company and Mr. LaFeyette for their services.

Zero customer service & a waste of money. I noticed a dead spot in the yard, called 3 times & emailed about it & was told its just the heat. Come to find out - after half the front lawn died - it was a larvae infestation! They never acknowledged it or did anything, even when I called to cancel my service!

My lawn looks worse than when they started. It used to just have a few brown patches, now it overrun with weeds and when I complained and asked for a reevaluation before I paid the balance, they sent me to collections. My fault for not doing sufficient research before hiring them. Never use them.

The first representative that came out was Anthony B and he was great (5 star) . After that, it has been COMPLETE CONFUSION. They were about to do the an incorrect application on the second visit today. . Luckily I was home to stop the service. I advise tru green customer service that I only wanted the representative I started with (Anthony B) to do my applications in order to cut down the confusion. I just purchased this service and I have already made numerous calls since the first visit complaing about incorrect application and scheduling.The customer service is horrible. Its obvious they are very disorganized. This is unacceptable. I have requested a FULL REFUND due to inadequate service. I do NOT recommend.

Always on time, but the spread of product was slim/erratic. Too expensive for what you get. They seem to favor more visits with only one product at a time. They maximize the charges.

My yard looks worse than it did before they started treating my yard. Teches dont show up....and lie about what they did. Called for a supervisor...no return call. Called this morning and get someone working from home and not possible to get a supervisor for me, could not transfer me to one. Pretty damn shady if you ask me.

I was hassled by their rep over three months and told they had great service. The first time they came, was good but had to call back because he only did front yard. The second time I had to call several times because they changed service dat three times. It has also been two months since I requested aeration and seeding and have not heard anything. Called twice and each time told they would call to schedule.

Horrible! These people are dishonest and basically thieves. Please do not hire them. I have them recorded on my home cameras just walking across the back yard and front yard once. I thought perhaps my cameras werent picking them up for some reason so I actually watched them last time. The service guy puts up the little sign and sits in his truck before and after his little stroll across my yard. Ive hired them for about 3 years and trusted the service. They did a good job on mosquito treatments though. I have no idea how they stay in business. Great marketing I guess.

Trugreen is a rip off. Charge an arm and a leg and all they do is come spray a chemical once a month. Nothing like the tech on the commercial who brags about a truck full of feed, seed, and fertilizer. When I called to cancel the phone rep tried to schedule a mgr visit. Ive given these people a year to make a difference in my lawn and it looks like my neighbor who doesnt treat her lawn one bit. The techs should have been pro-active if like me they werent seeing improvement. I hired them so I wouldnt have to worry about it. All I should have to do is keep my lawn cut and watered!

No stars!! 3 hour wait to talk to someone on the phone! I ve had no results from the services done. Honestly I get better results just watering my lawn. Weeds and fire ants are still around guys! My grass is green but I get the same results just by watering it. I see no value in the services done. Home Depot products give better results and I m not an expert at this stuff guys. Very disappointed!

Service is horrendous. They consistently have long wait times when called. Nearly impossible to get someone to even show up for yard maintenance. Best to use a competitor.

Truegreen serviced my lawn for the very first time on may 20th and on the first application , they burnt my entire lawn, may not be recoverable. To add insult to injury, I spent my entire Friday on hold trying to get someone on the phone. hold time 3-4 hours. Are you kidding? Non- the- less, I canceled and they still come to the house for scheduled services, 3 times. I asked the technician did he see that I canceled, and his comment was, it is going to take 30-60 days to show up in the system. This used to be a good company, very poorly ran right now. I signed up with a local company that answers the phone on the first ring every time I called. One last comment, when I was stuck in the call center endless robot call loop, I hit 2 to sign up for new service, guess what, they pickup up immediately. I asked the nice man on the phone to help me with my issue and he said he couldnt, he transferred me to support and boom - 3 hour hold. DO NOT USE TRUGREEN - HORRIBLE service. nice people. horrible company.

DONT USE THIS SERVICE it is horrible, they use water down products. Had to hold for 2 hours for CUSTOMER SERVICE . Yet when I called the new customer line they answered in 2 minutes. Then she transferred me back to the 2 hour Customer Service Line......WOW GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU THINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The aeration guy didn t do the whole yard. He was in a hurry and broke the corner off of my brand new sidewalk with his machine and the fertilizer guy didn t have fertilizer for Bermuda so he just put down fertilizer for St Augustine even though he said it wouldn t help. He said he normally has stuff on his truck but is driving a inferential truck today. (Eye roll).

BUYER BEWARE! Do not waste your $$. I entered a contract in March 2021. 1st visit April 2nd. 3-4 weeks later I still had crabgrass and weeds. May 10th no-show. I called back they promised to service my yard on May 12th. Charles K was the tech who text me at 1pm and said he was on the way. I opened my gate and put my dog in the garage. My gate was wide open for access. At 4:40pm Charles K send another text to reschedule my service stating the gate was locked. These people are crooks. Charles K is a liar! I demanded a refund.

DO NOT USE!! Would come out, never knock or ring door bell. I watched them do the service in the front yard but never even tried to service the back yard. THIS HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES. They came to do a ant treatment but never actually did any work either. To top it off, I was told that I would receive a free service but I was charged after they came out and did no work at all. I was left no paperwork showing they were on site at all. This company is worth less than a single star.

Horrible sales tactics and lack of respect when making a decision. They chose to go up in price rather than EARN business. All sharks and NO SERVICE. Especially when they know they are working with veterans.

Signed up for one service and was charged for two different services on the same day. They text you when they come and perform service I received a text for the one I was expecting. There was no mention of a second service until I was charged the next day. I called customer service and they were no help. This is our second time to be a customer of TruGreen. I was hopeful that they had improved. Unfortunately they have not. Buyer beware lots of hidden fees

I contracted TruGreen to help rid my yard of Nutsedge weeds beginning in March. Now at the end of August the Nutedge hasnt been controlled at all.

Eight months ago, my yard looked nice with grass and I hired TruGreen to keep it that way. Now my yard is all weeds even though we tried working with TruGreen at different times and multiple ways, they were unable to deliver. By the time I realized their efforts were non-effectual, my yard was already destroyed beyond any refund they could offer. Dont make the mistake I made and look for a different solution to your weed problem.

This the 2nd time they cancelled my service saying that my gate was locked. The gate was not locked. My front door was open and I was home watching for them. They texted me saying they were on their way w/ an arrival time of an hour to 2.5 hours. Then not even 10 mins later, I get the text saying that they were unable to complete the service due to my gate being locked. Ill never use them again and I wish Id never signed up for the full year of treatment.

They said they came out and treated my yard 3 different times, charged my account and NEVER came out.I guess they forgot that most of us have cameras. Battling now to get my money back. Never have spoken with a manager and they have not ever called me to try to fix the situation.

Had fire control plan with them, it didn t work, they had to come out 3 additional times during the year to address fire ant problems, still had fire ants, called and cancelled the service 2 months before it auto renewed, they still showed up on the renewal date and did the treatment again, now I just spent another 220.00 for something that didn t work the first time and stuck with this company again for another year, stay away!!!!!! My other services with them have been good, but because of this I m cancelling ALL and going with another company

TruGreen is a complete waste of money. We bought a brand new house last year and pre-paid for a lawn service for one year The lawn looks like nothing is ever done. They usually come and spray the yard and everything looks exactly the same. Honestly it s now worse than it was. I told them that the lawn is getting worse but didn t get a response. Don t sign up with these people. Read the reviews first

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. After the freeze, I contracted Trugreen to help me recover my lawn. The treatment package was not effective at all. To the contrary, I got types weeds I did not have before and more bald patches. . Calls to complain were answered with you need to wait for the treatment to work. In one case, I was asked to stop calling as it made the local office look bad.

Used them for about 10 months. Service is horrible, my grass is worst than before I contracted them. They said they cutt the grass but dis not, no lawn maintenance. For some reason I now have a different type of grass overtaking the lawn. I changed lawn service guys twice thinking that was the only problem. TruGreen is the problem because they hire incompetent, non professional people for service.

I dont recommend this company at all, dont waste your money.

I feel cheated, last year their sales rep said I had a disease and they could fix it and cause my grass to green up. I gave them a year and complained a couple times that my grass was not getting greener. Their last appointment, I waited all day for them to arrive. They texted several times that he was on the way. Then I received a text that my service was completed. What a lie. I contacted them and they came the next day but I began to believe that this was not the first time. I fired them and feel they cant be trusted to perform the visit.

They viewed my property thru google earth. I specifically told them i needed the enclosed pool area. I noticed after the 4th application that the pool area wasn t treated. When i spoke to customer service they apologized and sent someone immediately to treat the pool area. They also said they would give me a discount on my next treatment since the pool area was never treated on the first 3 applications. When i got my next bill there was no discount applied. When i called customer service they said no discount was given because i was already getting a good deal . I mentioned that it appeared a small section of my grass had gotten burned and died. I asked if there were any remarks from the driver about it and she said no. The only thing mentioned was a few yellow spots that should get better as it warms up. it s not going to get any warmer... we re in September!!! Definitely not what i was expecting. I will say that customer service are very polite, but the service is lousy!!! Do yourself a favor and choose another company.

We have used TruGreen for several months now. They are knowledgeable and timely. The sticky weeds are gone. Hopefully the clover is next.

Ive tried three times to get True Green to give me a no contact decree. I never tried to do business with yhis company and have no interest in doing so. Now they tell me itll take at least thirty days to remove my name. Horse pucky! It never took thirty days to add my name and I refuse to believe it will take 30 days to hit the delete key
