I have been using Fresh Lawn service for years. Thoan Cao is the absolute best! I can always tell when Fresh Lawn sends someone other than Thoan, the lawn is a little different from Thoan work. I have requested him all the time because his work is always perfect.

Fresh Lawn has been maintaining our yard for several years and they had sent Mr. Thoan Cao, to tend our yard. Mr. Cao did an exceptional job, and we were so pleased that we requested them to send Mr. Cao every time they schedule yardwork for us, we are even ready to wait and work with Mr. Caos availability. The two-man team always do a great job on my lawn. They do no over use the weed cutter which can kill grass if used as a mower cutting grass down to roots, and they close my gate each time.

I wish I can give a zero rating. I called to obtain services. However, they informed me that they can provide services as soon as the next day. I was never confirmed with whether or not an appointment was made. I stay in a HOA subdivision in which they cut the front lawn. I never received an email or call to confirm. So the next day while I was at work they cut the front yard in which I needed only the back which is maintained by me. Never knew they came out but was charged for grass that was already cut. Before the payment was processed I received threatening letters trying to take action. Nobody ever called to apologize for the miscommunication. Don t use this company because you will be charged for services and there is no communication to confirm when they will be out. They just showed up. I can t confirm if you really cut my grass that was already cut. Yet my lawn that needed cutting was still uncut until I hired a new company to complete it. And guess what now you see the other review which basically said the same thing I said. They want to be paid but don t properly do what has been asked. I edit this review and I was going to reply but I waited because I knew it would be a proven fact

If you dont mind being ripped off, hire Fresh Lawn. First off, Fresh Lawn is not a lawn care service company. They are a 3rd party contractor that charges an 80% finders-fee to find a lawn crew. and i use the term crew loosely. The so-called crew that was designated to cut my large overgrown yard, was 1 guy with a lawnmower. service fee did not include weed-eater trimming and blowing. The guy wanted extra money for that.. i will never hire this company again. i do not recommend them for lawn service.

My wife and I are just loving this company, the crews are the best, we requested their service on the phone and we were able to get on the schedule pretty quick, their prices are fair and the crews do an amazing job. Is such a help having a trusty company that we can always rely on. Thank you, keep up the good work!

My services were rescheduled 3x without notice until the end of the day and not made up for with the change in schedule. I notified the company that my yard was overgrown when sending a request for work which even included photos. I was assessed an additional $40 for the overgrowth which was understandable. Finally after 4 days of rescheduling a crew was sent to my home Today only to walk in to my back yard and skip my service stating the reason is that the yard is overgrown and an additional fee of $50 would need to be paid before the service could be performed when initially your card isn t charged until services have been completed. This was an awful first experience and I will not be using this lawn service moving forward. Absurd and unfair is a company that goes back and forward with customers to make themselves look better. No one communicated anything to me EVER I was not contacted when the crew arrived but I work from home and was able to SEE THEM ENTER MY YARD AND LEAVE !! I was also hung up on twice by the agent who answered the phone after the fact. Found a different company who serviced my yard the SAME DAY !! And provided a DISCOUNT even with my over grown yard !!! Use this company at your own discretion. They deserve ZERO STARS. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

I just got off the phone two minutes ago. The sassiest man answers the phone and only half listens, just reads script and then gets quickly annoyed when you disrupt his script to ask questions. I already said you re not listening let s get things straight , two horses on the wrong string (what?) .Sounds young. Y all probably already know the employee? I can t imagine this level of sassy and easily triggered emotions on a man being a one time occasion. Does not care about sales just wants the call to be over. Maybe I caught this businesses on a bad day but I def don t want to do business with a company whose employees are annoyed at me for even wanting to do business with them.

I had requested service and was looking for a one time service and I love their work so much I decided to switch to recurrent service. The crew was very careful with my yard and did a great job. I also requested leaf pick up and flowerbed and was really happy with the results and their prices are reasonable and cheaper than any other landscaping companies I called. My yard has never look so good. Thank you Fresh Lawn, looking forward to my next service!

This was literally the worst lawn job Ive ever had. There were strips down my yard where the grass was 4 inches higher than the rest and spots where they cut it down to the dirt. No trimming was done. There were weeds next to my fence when I got home. It looked like someone had done a terrible job on purpose. It was that bad. Then when I call to explain, the customer service guy gets all pissy (I was not rude at all) and blames the weather that happened 2 days later. Never again

Im giving them a 5 stars because we didnt have much time to get our parents home together and needed to handle major yard with a lot of tree trimming and cutting bushes work at their home. My sister and started roaming for companies that might handle something like this we called a few places and didnt like what we heard so we found fresh lawn in under a day it was as if we walked into a palace after the work they did Im definitely recommending you guys to everyone I know. Also they offered some additional services in regards to our parents being of age and worked with us on a regular schedule.

I was a new customer and had a scheduled service for March 30th (Thursday). Of course they couldnt give me a timeframe on when to expect someone to be at my home. So I went to work as usual and when I got home (after 6pm) thinking I was going to see a freshly cut yard and backyard just to see it hasnt been touched. So of course when I tried calling, the office was closed. I called that next morning before work to see why I didnt receive service that was previously scheduled the week prior and all I was told was that they had 4 jobs for the day and my home was one of them, but didnt tell me why they didnt show up in the first place that day before, so I was like of fine. I went to work that morning and came home a little after 6pm to yet AGAIN see that my yard has still not been cut. Of course I couldnt call because it was after hours. By this time Im already irritated and annoyed. Then I received an email at 10:37pm saying.... Unfortunately, the detail of the work, is more intensive than what we quoted over the phone. Fresh Lawn Mowing Services makes every effort, when quoting over the phone to speak to every circumstance that may arise for our crew. To move forward with service(s) Crew requested additional $ 100. THE ENTIRE NERVE OF THEM, how in the hell they was a NO SHOW the first time and without a courtesy call and a NO SHOW the second time also without a courtesy call to let me know you wasnt coming or whatever, but now send an email requesting additional money because my yard is overgrown. The company should have done a consultation first to determine the correct fee before hand but they didnt and now want to charge me extra. ABSOLUTELY NOT!! How unprofessional it is to not only not show up but didnt have the decency to call or even text BEFORE the office closed to discuss this matter or any matter but yet send me an email AFTER 10 Oclock at night. This is horrible customer service and I havent even received a service. I will be cancelling my account and future services and will take my business elsewhere.

Nothing can complain

I got an estimate for mowing on 2 properties I own on Monday April 3 I was happy with the price and agreed to the service. Unfortunately I took long to reply but I was told that It would be done by Tuesday morning. I drove by Tuesday afternoon and both properties look amazing !!!!

easy and fast set up.

The only good thing I can say about this company is that they answer the phone when you call and its easy to set up. Ive used these guys for a couple of years because they were easy to set up and I did not have time to upkeep the property. My backyard which used to be vibrant is now all dead and covered in mulched leaves and my front yard, which I re-sodded last year, is already dying as well. The guys come out and do the bare minimum and leave. If theyre scheduled to mow and there are leaves in the yard they do not rake, or even call and ask if you would prefer it (even for a charge, they just mow over them. Weeds overgrowing your fences and house? They mow and leave. Ive called and told them I needed the leaves picked up specifically. They quote me a base charge, the guys show up, realize its more work than the base charge and leave. No Call. If some attention is needed the crew never calls you while they are there (dog in yard, etc). They just leave, and FreshLawn sends an email after business hours. I finally cancelled my service this morning and they didnt even ask why, because they dont care. Thier customers are just a number to them. Opinion based on observations: We seem to have a different crew each time, I think they just subcontract to the cheapest person who will do the job. Because the crew doesnt work directly for the company they dont care about the details of customer satisfaction.

They broke a pipe. Didnt want to admit they did even after providing photos. I had mowmanagers prior for 8 years and never had any issues. Im going back to them.

They were great. Had them cut my lawn for 2 years then had to cancel because we moved. Cheaper than most places and always did a great job!

Repeatedly damaged my lawn by driving in wet grass tearing up my lawn. Also driving on grass that was dying leaving tire tracks throughout the yard. Broke out a sliding glass door and ignored messages left.

Told them never ever to come back They came 4 days later than due date, making me restrain my dogs inside. Finally when they came, they did the front lawn, and did 1/ 100th of backyard and left. Beware they have way too many phone numbers including one from PA state. O Got the charge disputed and taken off.

I wouldn t recommend at all. I constantly had to call after service because the crew would forget to edge or mow pieces of my yard. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told they re busy and will call you back , never received a return call. Find another lawncare service folks.

What an absolutely horrible company! I requested that my service be paused and they confirmed. However a lawn crew was still sent to my house and as a result our little dog was let out of the backyard and was found later, deceased from being hit by a car. When I called to file a complaint the person who answered was cold and did not seem to care at all. This company is horribly run and mismanaged.

Always satisfied with the service, Love how fast and easy it is to make changes online or over the phone. Ive called when the crew has missed something and they send someone back out to fix it with no problem.

Their mowing service are satisfactory. However, we suspect that an accident while mowing caused our window to shatter while we were on vacation. We were disappointed that the mowing company did not call us when it happened and flatly refused to own up to it when we pointed it to them. They said their mower had seen a broken window before they started mowing. Our expectation was that they would inform us of the same if they had spotted a broken window

Just note to anyone, if you want your grass cut short you must request it. Lessons were learned but I m satisfied with the work We had our first appointment scheduled for May 2. Didn t show, I called on May third and they said they ran a bit behind but will be there. No worries I get it. They finally show on May 5th and this is what we are left with. I called customer service and I quote well people like there grass left long due to in burning, if I want it cut shorter I can request that for next time. No one told me this when I called, this was our first experience with them. They didn t even knock on the door to have us check, let alone I had a tip for them. So definitely not good and canceled them

Hassle free quote and appointment, quick online response. The gentleman showed up and did his job well.

First time customer. Had them come out to my disabled mother s to mow her lawn. She lives in the Heights so the lawn is very small. Was charged for overgrown grass and I was ok with that. When I came to my mother s to check on the cut, the clippings from the mow were not picked up. When I called about it, I was told that it not apart of the service and is an additional $10. I am baffled. I ve never dealt with a lawn service that charges additionally for picking up mow clippings. On top of that, the mow was not even done properly. They missed the edges near the bushes, doesn t look like they weeded anything, and again, mow clippings. I m so disappointed. This will most likely be the last time I use them.

They are great with their customer service, they valued their customers a lot. I have always been happy with their mowing service and their prices are very good. The workers are really nice and professional. I have no complaints, they are truly amazing. I have been with them for quite a while and I have never had any trouble with their services.

Very quick and efficient lawn service. I had my overgrown lawn way over due for a trim. They sent out someone very quickly and he did a great job. After receiving multiple quotes from other companies Fresh Lawn was by far the better price and quality. The employee I talked on the phone with was also very cool. Will definitely be a repeat customer!

They canceled the appointment 2 times and tried to reschedule for the 3rd time. I do not recommend this company as they did not fulfill the agreement on time. Very disappointed and canceled the service with them.

I do not recommend this company. They failed to provide their service correctly or in a timely manner. Not even after giving them a second opportunity to correct it, they still didnt mow the right area and didnt cut my entire lot. If you want to avoid frustration, stay clear of this company.

They killed my flowers in the front half cut the backyard, and when complained they said I should have called sooner.

The team is very responsive and came out one day after initial quote and scheduling but their prices are a rip off. I was charged $40 for a lawn mow, $10 to pick up the bag clippings, $65 for weed spray, and $110 to pick up only 5 bags of leaves. The initial quote for leaf removal was $50 but was increased another $60 (with my approval since I wanted it done) as the worker deemed it more work. Lawn looks nice but their prices are too expensive compared to other companies.

I set this service for this past week. I receive emails and communication Friday morning that my lawn for sure is being taken care of. Nope, never happened. No call. No email response. I mow it myself. Now on Tuesday I get an email thanking me and how they completed my lawn? This is an absolute joke. Wow This is literally the first time I ve ever asked someone to mow my yard. I ve been working too many hours. Lesson learned. I ll never call anyone to such a simple task

Ive been using this company for several years. They provide excellent service and keep my yard looking great. Recently, they trimmed my trees. The workers are respectful and never leave grass trimmings on the sidewalk or driveway. I would recommend their service.

I have been using this service for a little over a year now after leaving my last service as it was falling a little out of my budget and I have to say that they really out-do themselves whenever I get my yard treatment! Whether it be when I request them to mow, pickup my leaves, or help weed in front of my house I am always satisfied by the results. Really appreciate all the help!

The service was ok some of the times, but unfortunately Fresh would send people who dont really care about your lawn.

Damaged property and refused to own up to damages as well as offering an apology or adequate compensation for damages.

Had my wife try to book a simple mow and edge job, they scheduled it out 1 week. Ok, youre a busy company, I get it. A week later, they no call, no show. Wife calls again, they reschedule for 3 days later. No call, no show. Lawn is getting pretty overgrown. Rinse and repeat not 1, not 2, but 3 more times before we finally give up and go with another lawn service company after being promised by Fresh Lawn that they would be there 5 separate times. Ended up having to pay extra to the lawn service we went with because the yard was completely out of control by this time. The cherry on top was that Fresh Lawn shows up a week and a half later, after zero communication during that week and a half, in disbelief that we didnt need the yard done anymore. I would not recommend Fresh Lawn to anyone, ever. The only reason theyre getting 1 star is because 0 stars isnt an option. And before the owner hops on here trying to weasel their way out of responsibility, I have screenshots of all of my wifes calls, texts, and emails between us and Fresh Lawn that I will gladly post if they dont own their mistakes and try to improve in the future.

Been using them for about 2 months. Since the beginning it has been no show or wrong day. Very unprofessional and no communication on their part at all.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Despite posting in big bold letters on their website that they are INSURED, they clearly are not. The subcontractor (fresh laws IS NOT a lawn care company in truth, but an Uber-like on demand service) had a rock kick up and break one of my windows. Fresh Lawns didn t bother to contact me. I had to hunt them down over the course of several weeks. Eventually, they sent an email - rather than actually speak with me - saying that they are not liable. Their explanation of why is a small line in their email confirmation, which attempts to suggest they are not responsible for debris, rocks or broken windows. I m taking the company to court in the next few weeks.

Horrible service. Paid for services twice and lawn was still incomplete. Never again! Still had high grass. These are pictures after the 2nd time from the 1st time. Smh You cannot see my account because I canceled my services but the pictures are in your data base because a man that answered the phone confirmed these pictures with me. Theres nothing you can do but refund me my hard earned dollars.

Buyer beware, do not give these guys your credit card number. They write down credit card numbers on pen and paper in the office.. everyday they run their credit card servicers to charge you and sometimes they double charge customers. The owner is going bankrupt and both of them have committed insurance fraud with their equipment. They steal overtime money from their employees and modify their paycheck stubs or even sometimes dont give them out. This company is failing and is going out of business so theyre trying every marketing strategy known to man to pick themselves up..

I have been pleased for the most part with the service. I just get the lawn mowed without additional services. They do a decent job but I continue to ask for them to let me know when they are coming so I can make sure my dogs are not outside and am never notified other than the day they will come. On the positive, they are always good about closing gates and not using the mowers to shove gates open and closed as some have in past, damaging the gates.

EDIT - Customer Service Manager JT (rockstar) reached out and rescheduled mowing and we got taken care of the same day. If they are offering such a great customer service, I believe they dont mean any wrong, they are just facing issues due to the current environment with labor shortage. Do give them a try and ask for JT, if you have any issues. That rep needs a raise if the owner is listening. Previous Post - The lawn service is terrible. They did not show up for 3 weeks after their last 2 week cycle and scheduled my house each day of the week and then canceled every single day. I gave them time, understanding that their might be issues Finally, after 3 weeks I emailed them about the issue, that this is not acceptable and I got fined by my HOA and the overgrowth will more difficult now to take care of. They promise me on email that they will come out the same day or the next day. But lo and behold, they did not turn up the same day. I called them the next day and still they cannot promise if they can mow my lawn. After 2-3 calls, they finally told me that they can confirm the mowers will come out but cannot tell me the time, after pushing the rep, he told me that they wont be there until 5 PM. Even when I stated that I need to be moved up I the priority list, the customer rep just said that he cannot do that. I just went ahead and canceled them. Not reliable at all, poor customer service, the customer service rep wont even transfer me to his manager and did not even try to retain me as a customer, and was like ok, if you want to cancel, we will cancel. On top of this, with my new company, I have to pay double the price for mowing, because the 3 week overgrowth is above 6. Plus, I had to pay for an HOA fine, due to their poor management skills of their crews, and false promises Highly NOT recommended. STAY AWAY!!

We had Fresh Lawn come do our lawn and paid extra to have our weeds pulled in our flower bed. The lawn was mowed but the weeds were ignored. We called to see if someone would come out and complete the job and had a date scheduled 3 days out. They were a no call no show so we rescheduled. Again they did not show and this behavior repeated 4 times in a row. Eventually, my wife suddenly started having trouble getting through whether the phone would ring endlessly or we would get sent to voice-mail. We tried to call from my phone and suddenly we magically got answered. We were fined by the HOA due to long weeds and decided to switch to a different company. Fresh Lawn was ok when it came to just plain mowing the yard. Just dont ask for additional services.

Called for a quick service and Reed responded immediately. They answered all my detailed questions, such as edging and bagged grass. Got my yard cut fast even with all these daily rain. Great straight edging lines and super blown clean driveway. Received communication emails regarding my service date and a final email stating service was completed. I found Fresh Lawn Mowing Service through my online search couple of weeks ago. I talked to Katherine on the phone. She was a sweet lady, very helpful and gave me a reasonable price. Their first service was on Saturday and I was out of town. When I came back, I saw they did an excellent job. I hope they will continue doing the same so that I wont have to go somewhere else. Fresh lawn mowing services has been caring for our lawn for about a year the guys that come to cut our yard are always courteous timely and efficient I also want to commend their staff who answers the calls and reply to the texts they should be the Benchmark for customer service and they are greatly appreciated

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They broke a piece of my siding while mowing and claimed they did not do it. It was obvious that they had mowed there (seen by the lawn mower wheel marks) and the servicemen were adamant that they did not cause the damage. Thats funny since no one else has access to our backyard other than the lawn people and members of my family. They did not reimburse us for the damage and only gave us 2 free lawn services as reimbursement. What a joke since it will cost a few hundred dollars to fix the siding damage. There was also another issue with a serviceman and one of my dogs, which I wont go into much detail about, but that finally made me end my service. Please find another lawn service, this company does not provide good customer service.

This lawn service is not consistant with there service. I am still waiting on a refund on yard service that was not completed. They are refusing to rein buse me for those funds. 2 payments were taken out of my account. This has gone on 5 months now. Please dont use this service. They lost my gate key and didnt replace that either. Not worth using these people. Please get another yard care service.

I contacted this company first on 01/21/2020 for vacant lot maintenance. Received a quote and was told someone would go out that day to take a look at the property. Today is 01/29/2020, no one has been able to take a look at the property yet. I sent almost daily emails requesting a status update. Every time I was told tommorow someone will go to the property and take a look. All your company emails simply state someone will go take a look tomorrow has I have stated. If I had been given the update you have now provided, I would have been a very satisfied customer. Good luck to you. My rating stands Communication is key

I have used them several years. Yesterday they sent a crew that spent an hour...doing my neighbors yard! Im now anticipating a big fight over a big erroneous charge. Service was once excellent but has evidently undergone management change. Now they are only proficient at summer edge/mow. In fall and winter They charge hourly rather than flat fee. They work 16 minutes and round up to 30. Several times I come home to discover they have blown leaves into beds rather than remove from lawn. (They have only one hard working And honest employee. Ask for Luis Dominquez) But generally customer service agents do not care about courtesy or service. I dont think they can remain in business long. Im shopping

Last year I contacted Freshlawn about cleaning up my flowerbed (weeding, trimming shrubs, and general flowerbed maintenance). I never hired them as I decided to wait. This year I decided to reach out again for the same thing. I filled out an online request and was immediately contacted by Ibette and over the course of a week (me following up) after sending pictures and begging them to come out by me following up with getting an estimate through several emails. They finally sent out a crew and I did get an estimate and hired them. Their crew returned promptly on the agreed upon date and started working without informing me they were here. Then when they finished, they left without letting me know or review their work to ensure it was with my satisfaction. Most companies will ensure you get to look over the work prior to leaving unless agreed upon otherwise. I will say, I did like the work they did, however, customer service was lacking.

Tried to overcharge me 50 bucks. I canceled the card and sent them a copy of the invoice and my payment showing we were even. They keep pinging my card and sending me Bills except now its $150. I have tried to get their accountant or manager to call me with no luck. The 2 times I used them the service was ok but I wouldnt trust these guys with your credit cards.

I used Fresh Lawn on and off for about three years. I recently decided to do two-week service of my front and backyard. Last week they came and cut my yard, but didnt cut the back. I forgot to call and decided to call today. When I called, I spoke to McKenzie. I told her what the issue was. She informed me that because it was a week later, it would be a problem to get a crew to come back and cut the yard. I said, okay, well, Id like to request a credit because clearly my backyard wasnt cut. She told me shed have to send it to their A/P dept. and request it. All I wanted to know is when I should follow up. She couldnt give me an answer. I said, okay, well, is there someone else I could speak to that would know the answer to my question. She said there is, but Im not allowed to give their information. I said, well, whos your manager? She told me she couldnt give that information either. I then asked her, well, who over you can I speak with? She said she would be the only person I could speak to and then proceeded to get an attitude. I requested that my service be canceled. Her attitude was unnecessary and cost them business. Completely horrible service when all I wanted was a date to follow up.

I was satisfied until recently, noticed they hadn t been by in a while so I called to find out when they d be back, but no one answers the phone. It just says their mailbox is full and hangs up.

The company it very deceptive and do not honor prices in proposal

The customer service and receptionist staff are very nice and attentive. The reason we finally cancelled our service is because the people who mow were so inconsistent. We would have a really great person for a couple of months, then a so-so person, and occasionally a really awful person. The last person who mowed the lawn lost control of the edger and tore a section of the lawn off (I have no clue how he accomplished that). We had to remove the section and replace it with sod because there was no way to fix it. Overall the pro is that the company is easy to work with. The con is that the actual people who mow are inconsistent.

I signed up through their site on 07/20 and requested first available time for a now. They mowed the wrong yard and charged me on 07/29. I was told they would send someone out 07/30. It is now 08/04 and they won t respond to emails or answer the phone. I requested a refund yesterday so I can use another company that will show up, but no response. I recommend steering clear of this company.

I actually wasn t going to respond and put the reason why I put a one star. But I see that the owner actually commented saying that this was a fake review. I asked these people to come cut my grass every two weeks and they are constantly sending me people that don t know what they re doing, don t weed eat my yard, and young with push mowers when I have a huge yard. Yesterday, they came when they were supposed to and actually took down a fence that I had around a vegetable garden and proceeded to cut over it. To make matters worse instead of apologizing or saying that they did it I come home to my garden completely mowed over with the fence put right back like I wouldn t notice the squash and tomato plants were gone. To the owner who responded: I m not a fake. Go ask your support team about Alexandra Hernandez. They have my emails along with pictures. Do better Sir

After 6 yrs of service with this company I am saying Goodbye to them and thier new,rude,and bad customer service staff. They used to value customers,listen to what you had a complaint about and did what the could to fix the issue The girl whom now answers the phone acts as if she personally is there when they do your lawn. Called to make a complaint and although I was home watched him do my yard she argued with me that he did something he did not. When ask to speak to someone else or the name of her boss informed me she would not and could not give me the information.And she was the only one in the office. Imagine that!

Instead of mowing leaves in my yard they blow the leaves into my flower beds and plants making it a lot harder for me to get the leaves out.

I have really tried to give this company a try...but everytime I have hope, they stay further and further away from great service they provided when I first started. The wait time is horrible when calling. For whatever reason, as a company, you have to be proactive during these times to keep your business going to not just aquire new customers, but retain your loyal customers. My suggestion to this company is the consideration of investing in lean practices which highlights customer value. Once you have adopted lean, you can provide more efficient and effective customer service to your clients especially with virtual transition. If you advertise you do a good job and gaurentee 100% then you need to live up to what you advertise consistently. Update: I spoke with Andy after being contacted by JT via text. Nothing but constant problems with this company. I was charged 71$ and they did not even show up. Manager or owner has reached out to me in the past and asked me to delete a negative review, but I don t think that will be the case this time. How hard is it to mow a lawn on schedule every two weeks? I m just so confused.

BEWARE! This company will pretend they care about your lawn and home, but they do not. Their crews are reckless and will damage your home with their equipment. On numerous occasions I asked the crew to be more careful, but nothing changed . I did speak to someone in corporate office recently and she pretended to care, but in the end it has become clear there is no genuine care for quality of work in this place of business. However, I m charged each week like clockwork. My relationship has culminated with a conversation with an Amy in the corp office and honestly i felt like she genuinely cared about my comcerns in our phone chat. However, that graciousness ended after our conversation. I m left with an email that says the cowardice owners (that don t even bother to call and apologize) don t want to do anything about it. So, I cancelled my service and I encourage anyone looking for lawn care services to look elsewhere. You will be disappointed.

Hire this company to pick up leaves. I paid them twice the amount that they quoted and they used the wrong bags. The city will not pick them up and Fresh Lawn wants to charge me to re-bag the leaves. This is a rip off company for sure!!!

It definitely seems I am good company with my review. I waited a week to insure that Olivia, the accounts manager, had some time to review my emails and get back to me. She has not and I do not see her doing so anytime in the near future. A month ago I contacted Fresh Lawn to take care of the lawn service at my home. I was told that a cut for the home and leaf bagging would be $35 plus tax bi weekly. They came out and did a mediocre job. They bagged two bags of leaves, did not leaf blow the whole patio and back yard area and completely refused to cut any of the grass on the side of the house. I sent images of the issues and I was told that this would be noted on my account and in two weeks all would be fixed. It gets better. Two weeks passed and they returned. Yet again the side of the house was not cut and if you look youll see a water bottle in the leaves. That was there from the first mow. Left it there on purpose to see if they were paying attention. Nope. Also the backyard was trash. Weeds growing left and right and they just left them. I emailed again and was told the lady who I had been speaking with was no longer with Fresh Lawn. They apologized for the issues and swore to fix them. That I would be refunded for the last mow and all the issues from the past month would be fixed with a special crew coming to cut the weeds and take care of the leaves the next day. The next day came and no crew by 8pm. I got an email letting me know that my mow had been bumped and someone would come the next day. The next day came and a crew finally showed up. They sat outside of my home for 10 mins in their truck. No one got out. They were on their phones and then they left. I found that quite odd. So I called Fresh Lawn. They were just as surprised as me as to why no one mowed or cleaned up the leaves. They apologized and called dispatch to figure out what happened. I was told that I was quoted the wrong price initially. That the crew, even though they never got out of the truck, felt that the leaves were too much work and they werent going to do it. They didnt even go into the back yard to attempt to cut the weeds they let grow for the past month. They said it would be $150 but since they have messed up they could offer me a discount and have someone come out immediately for $120. I told them I was very upset that no one reached out to me to let me know about all of this. That a simple call or email could have clarified all of this. Even if there was an issue that good customer service says you just eat the cost, fix the problem and keep a customer. Not with Fresh Lawn. They do not care. I emailed Olivia the accounts supervisor and let her know about my situation and how disappointed I was. No response. Now we have this review. There are too many great people and companies who work hard and want your money. I do not chase down people to give them my money. That is crazy. Subpar work. Subpar customer service. Subpar core values and leadership. This here is the epitome of Fresh Lawn. Save your money, time and patience. Find someone who actually cares about their clients and their business. Avoid at all costs! You will be sorry.

The mowers dont arrive on the day that the company scheduled & not even the next day...cannot always reach them by phone & it Can take hours for a call back. The only thing that I can say nice is that Some of their operators are nice. I am going to find another lawn service!

This company continues to call our company phone and hang up. Ive called back and was unable to get through to an agent after holding for 5 minutes multiple times. Not sure how customers even get ahold of them.

Do not recommend. We overlooked the fact that they came on different days instead of set schedule. We overlooked the rushed trimming of the bushes in front of the house as well as the trimmings left laying around. What we couldnt deal with was paying them for an hour ($30) worth of work to trim a bush below the house numbers, per our HOA regulations, and they were done (RING app) within 20 min. And then having to pay them to come out again because they didnt trim below the numbers. We paid another $15 to get it below the numbers only to have to call them back a third time because the bush was still not low enough. On the 3rd try, the guy took a picture from STANDING in our drive way (rather than from a vehicle which is common sense) and said he could see the numbers fine. I pulled up in my Expedition and it was not trimmed enough for an emergency vehicle so I called them to tell them. But they said we were not specific enough with our instructions in the 2nd time so we would have to pay a 4th time to have trimmed again. We disagreed. My husband told them if they didnt come and fix it we were going to fire them and the guy hung up on him. We do not recommend them.

Ive been a customer for three years, and today was the final straw. Ive had problem after problem, and none of it ever their fault, including a system upgrade excuse that lasted for six months. I even had one of their contractors threaten me when I told them they came on the wrong day and I could not afford yet another overdraft charge because they showed up when they felt like it and charge me for it. Not once was I ever compensated for the overdrafts they caused. Now they have dramatically increased their cost and its not worth the headache.

Worst company ever!! I wish I can give them a zero star. They didnt come out to clean our flower bed and was charged $87. Called the representative and she told me I had to call them within 24 hours after the work was done. Never got a notification from the company (email, text, nor call) that they were coming so how can I call them. Didnt get my refund back and now I have to go out and clean my front and back yard because they didnt do their job. They didnt even use a blower after their mow our yard either. Save your money and go with another comany.

There was only one time that they cut my full acreage property and the rest of it half-way. I have talked to them about this issue. And was it only once almost completely cut, when I spoke with the individual guy that was working the yard who is not there anymore. The property looks nasty and it has hindered the sale of my property. And I had not been able to get in touch with the office for over 3 weeks prior to me speaking with a lady on Monday 5-6-19 and canceling with them. Then they bill me the following day and likely did not even go cut. As I called daily and finally reached another lady on Friday 5-10-19(only 3 that answers the phone) and told her what happened. She said it was not inputted and you did not speak with me. So I asked her to inquire with the other two ladies because I would recognize her voice. She started talking back and I had to hang up as my husband just passed away and I could not deal with how she was acting towards me. I disupted the charge with Amex, but I should have disputed at least the three cuts prior and charging me over $176.00 every 2 weeks with initial additional 330.00 charge.

Best lawn service available. Automatic payments, just call to set up and you re good to go. I ve used this service for 2 years now and I haven t had a problem. To address some of the other reviews with my own opinion: If you are in danger of overdrafting your account you should not be paying for lawn service. On your day off get out there and mow your own lawn. If you think this company is going to cut your yard and bag your leaves on a quarter acre property for $30 you are mistaken. Most of the negative reviews are from people who have no idea how hard these crews work (IE entitled) and the special attention they pay in your yard to make sure it looks respectable. The one negative thing is that sometimes when you call somebody might not pick up and other times there s a long hold. But other than that I think that the company is a fair value and they do good enough work that I can trust them with my lawn.

Do not use this company they brook a huge glass in my house and after confronting them they said sorry but can t do anything I was at the house when it happened and they keep saying I have no prof I have pictures, but they keep telling me they have to talk to the staff that did my back yard. Please do ur self a favor and just don t use them, they have no manager no customer service no understanding of cleaning up their own mess.

They cancelled service 3 days is a row because of rain, even though it hadnt rained on my side of town for those days. And when I had to call and ask them to stop cancelling, they finally came out and did an awful job cutting the yard. They left grass everywhere and didnt put back all the stuff they moved. Im in San Antonio but spoke with people in Houston to book services 3 days ago. When I called this morning to ask when they might be coming was assured that my lawn would be mowed today. Here we are after their closing hours and my lawn is still not cut... Wish I could say I was surprised

If I could choose 0 stars I would! I was excited about using this company their website looks so nice. I made an appointment to have lawn cut on a Tuesday. Friday arrived and still no cut. Sunday came... no cut. Company did not even extend a courtsey/update call to notify me. When I called to expeess my disappointment the representative simply stated he dredit my account. No apologies or remorse. 2 weeks later... the fompany drafted my account another $100. I drove to main office on 34th to explain what happened and demanded they credit my account. Restated I never want their services again and DO NOT WITHDRAW from my account again! Representative simply stated account will be credited. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! PLEASE FIND SOME ELSE.

Service here is awful. They advertise for either day of or next day service and that is a flat out LIE. Not only that but when you actually do get the service you pay for its subpar at best, a 5th grader does better work. I have utilized this lawn care company since 2013. Lately, they have declined in their professionalism, punctuality and work ethic. They have postponed their cutting services for days and show up days later to try to upcharge the fee based on their negligence. It is not the customers fault that they are short handed and/or Houston weather. Some cancellations were due to inclement weather and others due to unreliable employees that have left the company. Regardless, we were home every day to witness their lack of services. We were home to unlock the gate on their scheduled date. We also have cameras so we know which days they did not show up. I am completely disappointed in the company. They sent weather reschedules and also stated they were short handed via email, so they would come out the next day. I kept every email they sent based on their cancellations. When the crew finally showed up after 4 days, they said they need to double my charges. Its unacceptable. Ive been a loyal customer for over 6 years. They were a great company over a year ago. Even when they were not perfect, I stayed with them. But from the recent ordeal this week, I can not stay silent nor stay around to get screwed. I have contacted management. No response as of July 20, 2019.

This company is AWFUL. Stay away! If I could give them zero stars, I would! When you google their phone number, 6 pages of different business names appear. I believe this is why they keep getting business. Nobody knows who they are getting until its too late. They go by Houston Lawn Mowing, Spring Lawn Service, Kingwood Lawn, Sugar Land Lawn, First Colony Lawn, Missouri City Lawn, Houston Heights, Cypress Lawn, Garden Oaks.....and list goes on and on.... They had to come back 3 times to finish mulching my flower beds. The first time they came, they underestimated the amount of mulch I needed. I used the same company 2 years ago, and based our estimate this year off of how much we used last time. I didnt understand why it was so much more this time, and no explanation was given. They gave me another estimate on how much it would cost to finish the job. I unwillingly gave them the ok. I came back from work that day, only to find the work STILL uncompleted. I called them back the THIRD time, and the woman on the phone told me she will take care of it. I did not authorize any more payments on my credit card. I get my credit card statement two weeks later and noticed they billed me for the third visit. And to top it off, they charged my credit card twice for the first visit. When I called to complain, I asked to speak to a manager or owner. I was told the people answering the phones were trained to handle all calls. I asked a couple of times, and Gina would not transfer me to anyone else. She refunded the second charge from the first visit and told me she would check the recorded phone call to see what kind of agreement was made. I did not hear back. I finally spoke to a man 3 days later, who was equally as unhelpful. In fact, he said that the invoice showed that they only billed me once for the first visit, and so I actually owed them money, since a refund was applied to my account. HUH? Of course the invoice only shows one payment. But my credit card was scanned twice. He told me to call my credit card company to make sure the charge was made by Fresh services. The entire fiasco was completely absurd. I did call the credit card company, they confirmed that the card was scanned twice for the first visit, as stated on my bill. While I was talking to the credit card company, I also put a dispute on their last charge. This company is unprofessional and unethical. Dont ever ever use.

THE BEST THEY CAN DO is only 70% of the job, remaining 30% is on you(Looks like thats for your workout session ;) ). They Charged me for overgrown fee and charged me for clipping but all they did was incomplete job(Thats the best they can do, heard this from one of their representative ). They did not even inform that clipping was a seperate thing and I have to pay for it. Even after paying what I got is half clipped ditch. Even after sending pictures all they say is THATS THE BEST WE CAN DO. They responded quickly but they dont want to accept their mistake. Very poor service. If you want a incomplete job and some workout sessions please do call them, they are good at it. Bye bye Freshlawn, thanks for making my lawn UNFRESH.

By far the worst customer service experience Ive ever had. We scheduled an initial service and prepaid as required. Time passed and we assumed the services had been performed, since its not our primary residence. We should never have assumed the best considering we never received any receipt or record stating the service had been completed. Two weeks later we received an email stating our scheduled service would need to be delayed a day, no big deal. Then I started receiving these emails every day, so I went to check the state of the yard. It was well over a foot tall, absolutely no way that happens in a two week period. I submitted a question via their online form and also left a voicemail on a friday. By Tuesday of next week Id still received no contact so I called back. Apparently the team wanted more money because of the height of the grass, but no one ever reached out to the customer (me) and just kept delaying service which of course led to increased height. After arguing with the office staff about the cost I asked for proof of the initial service being completed the two weeks prior. The pictures provided were of the wrong house. When I provided pictures of my residence and asked for actual evidence of service at my residence or for them to complete the job at no additional cost, they responded they had no other evidence and would not perform the service for the original agreed upon process even though it was their mistake. I filed a complaint with the BBB, to which the company never responded. My next steps are small claims court, since I have all our communications in writing. Dont trust this company with your business, they have no integrity.

Absolutely unreliable service. They just dont show up when they are supposed to and make no call as to what is going on. When I call to complain, no one answers, and I leave a message. No one calls back. I have to call again; they promise they will come out, and no one does. I do not recommend. Update: After I cancelled my service and posted this review, they came out and mowed, and charged me for it. I got a call from them, saying they DID mow yesterday, but that was not true. My Ring doorbell proves it. They came out to mow only after I had called three times (the last time to cancel my service) and had written this review.

I used freshlawn when my dad was overseas. I am very happy with the service they provided. You can get the service one time or biweekly. I will use them again next summer when my dad leaves. Thanks!

The contractors cut my sprinkler heads for the 2nd time and the company refuses to replace the sprinkler heads .the first time they cut the sprinkler heads the contractor replaced the sprinkler heads but this time the company fired the contractor and they refuses to replace the sprinkler head. They pretended if i give them an estimate they would pay for damages i gave them the cheapest estimate from an unlicensed plumber and they said i needed a licensed plumber so i gave them that estimate and it was too high so i told them to find a licensed plumber in my area that you are comfortable with and pay the bill..No answer from the company..the contractors will cut your sprinkler heads and they do extremely bad work I could go on and on about this company and Ill be writing forever about how bad their services is..best thing is I can tell you is dont use this company for anything i learned the hard way BAD ! BAD ! BAD ! SERVICES ! RUN AWAY DONT WALK AWAY

Absolutely deplorable! I went to get quote online, was given quote, directed to sign up and did so. Entered credit card number and wanted to add more properties but didnt know how so I called. Was told they dont have an account for me and that I didnt sign up online when I was looking at my online account that I had just logged into. Also was told they dont service the area that I was quoted for online. When asked to speak to a manager the rude rep told me she was the only one there when I could hear voices in the background. I want this account deleted since my credit card number is stored and instead she just kept telling me there was no account created. Im reporting this company to BBB! UPDATE: Already rated F with BBB! 2nd Update. Please post the call publicly and see if everyone else feels she was pofessional? Just because she was monotoned and had no expression whatsoever in her voice does not make her professional. I get why BBB rates your company F! It also might behoove you to update your system to inform potential clients of the service area and not allow them to continue if the area is not covered.

I initially had really good experiences with them in my old house but since moving to Katy the work has been very inconsistent. Sometimes they edge/weedeat well, sometimes its so bad I have to go out there and fix it. Ive complained a few times but still no consistency. They get through as quickly as possible and have even left small sections of my yard unmowed. Rethinking using them in the future.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I requested to have my lawn mowed and my flowerbed cleaned up. My lawn was mowed but my flowerbed was not done but I was still charged for the service. When I called to notify the company I was told someone would come out Monday or Tuesday to complete the service. No one came. Called back Wednesday was told someone would come out Wednesday or Thursday to complete the service. No one came. Called Friday requesting a refund of services. It s been a week and no refund. Called today and was told to call back Monday. Unacceptable!!! This company has no integrity. Save yourself the headache!!!

I ve been using this company since I first moved to this area. They did great in Highlands, Houston and now in Baytown. I have nothing negative to say about them. They are human and do the best they can. My yard always looks good.

Do NOT I repeat Do NOT use this company! If I could give no stars I would. I ve used this lawn mowing service for three months now on a biweekly schedule. They are going to get their money before they ever preform the service. Two weeks ago my account was drafted and I had to wait 10 days prior to my yard ever being cut. When I finally got someone in the office to answer the phone (after multiple attempts three business days in a row) the customer service representative ensured me they never take payment prior to the service. Then she discovered the mowers went to the wrong house and charged me for it. I was promised that my biweekly schedule would be adjusted due to their mistake but here I am with money taken out of my account and my yard not needing to be mowed since it s only been five days that they were here last. If I can ever get someone on the phone during business hours I will be cancelling my contract with them. I advise anyone looking for lawn care service to NOT use this company!

If I could give a 0, I would. They are unprofessional and inefficient. I had lots of problems, but finally cancelled services when they charged my card without providing the service. I am still waiting to get my money which is a huge pain as they ... again ... are extremely unprofessional and dont care about customers at all.

They showed up quoted 200 for a very small amount of leaves . The guys said not many leaves and office called back wanted 200 I have a pool in the back not much yard . Left did nothing just noticed my card was charged . I am filing police report. DO NOT USE

Dishonest. Still billing my credit card long after my contract was ended. Good at first but then lawn guy stopped showing up so I ended the contract. Called before next billing date to confirm cancellation and they affirmed, but then billed my account three more times.

Bad mowing company business not ran well. Tip they will charger u for ur lawn when it doesn t need a mowing they will just edge it and charger you full price for the services they provide you.

I was supposed to have bi weekly service with them. They showed up ONE time. I called and nicely asked to see what day they would be coming back, someone had cancelled my service on their end, they told me someone would come out the next day. I called the next day to confirm. I was told they were on their way to my house. No one came. Then the same thing happened the next 3 days in a row.: I hired someone else. Then received an email saying that my lawn was on the schedule for Monday (an entire week late) and that I could not cancel service. I emailed back with what happened and have not seen a charge on my account yet. Be careful, they have terrible customer service and they lie to you about getting things done.

Cancelled service on 2/3, crew still showed up on 2/5. I have reason to believe that my credit card information was stolen after using this service. DO NOT USE.

We started using Fresh Lawn when we moved to Spring almost 3 years ago and we still use them. They do a consistent good job every time, are VERY dependable, and are even reliable to show up for an emergency job in a pinch. We will never use anyone else for our lawn care here in Spring.

Horrible service and bad communication

Since this company contracts out to several different vendors, you never know who youre going to get. Service is spotty at best, and if you do have a concern or complaint, good luck at getting an answer.

I have used this company for 5 years. I was very happy in the beginning. Then in 2017 they broke my windows by throwing rocks into my 3 floor to ceiling windows with their weed eater. After promising to pay through their insurance - it is now months later and they are referring me to the contractor they hired to get payment for the damaged windows. Yet, they advertise being fully insured. Shocking how they treat a long term customer. STAY AWAY!

Unreliable - Used them for a long time and dealt with mess ups for far too long. Showing up on unscheduled days and then missing others. Actually recently asked for extra work to be done, set a price and the guy showed up and we spoke and then he was gone. I called and they said they were sending someone else, no show. Steady decline for a lone time.

The family that came out to do our lawn were so awesome and determined to get it done before dark. They did a great job and I highly recommend this service. I will use them again if the need arises.

I would definitely recommend trying Fresh Lawn. Ive tried other lawn care services, but ended up choosing Fresh Lawn. Their customer service has been top notch, the lawn has never looked better, and the pricing as good (if not better) than the other services Ive used over the years. Having the ability to service my account over an app is nice, and updates frequent about billing and lawn service has been great. When Ive been out of town, Ive never been concerned that my lawn was actually serviced when I was billed (like I have been with my last lawn service). I will be staying with Fresh Lawn Service as long as I live in one of their service areas. Thanks again for the great service!

I booked an initial lawn service for Thur April 5, 2018, and have yet to get someone to show up. Andy has said hes having employee difficulties with Antonio and Steven, and has promised to get someone out. We are in Austin area. Still no service. Not happy. Wouldnt suggest these folks. But, if they come out today, Sat, as promised, maybe Ill update my opinion. Well see. Stay tuned. Well, no show, no call. Is anyone surprised? I have been using fresh lawn service for a good long time. I enjoy the person that fresh lawn service send me. Emmanuel is great in doing his work he does a 100% plus job. Emmanuel takes prided in his work like an artist does with his painting. If I could give 10 stars to fresh lawn service I would but cant do it 5 stars is the highest a person can give. The first time we used Fresh Lawn it was wonderful - customer service was fantastic and we were pleased with their work. The second time was a different story and we wont be using them again. Not sure if theres new management or what has changed, but customer service was less than helpful and lawn looks better but not what I would expect for the price. I called for an appointment Tuesday and was told theyd come by Thursday latest but couldnt give me an eta. Later Tuesday evening I received an email saying they would be here Wednesday. So, I put our dog in his crate and left our driveway gate and back yard gate open in case they came while I was away. They never showed up. Thursday came around and same deal - I put our dog in his crate and left gates open in case they came while I was away. I got a call from the office a little before noon saying theyd be here within 30-45 min. At almost 2p I called to see what was going on as they hadnt arrived yet and as the rep was in the middle of telling me they must be late they pulled up. As I mentioned before, the service was not worth the money. We typically take care of our lawn ourselves and think next time I will hire a sitter for the kids while I take care of it as it will be money better spent.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Terrible customer service, terrible quality lawn service in general. I cancelled service when they broke a water pipe, refused to take responsibility, and didnt even finish the service I was charged for.

Don t bother with this company. After my diary two appointments, I still haven t had the work performed. Contact the office and they don t respond.

They quoted me $35 for a one-time service, which was fine. However, they waited until the work was completed and the lawn guys left to call me and say that oh by the way, your backyard was overgrown so were going to charge you another $20. They also left trimmings everywhere and didnt haul away the trash tree I specifically mentioned I wanted gone. In short, they do less work than you want for more money than they tell you. Steer clear.

DO NOT COUNT ON THEM! So Ive never actually gotten the chance to have any work done. I called to schedule a one time service (our lawn mower died) the explained that I couldnt have someone come out that day but I could schedule for another in the week. I scheduled for a Thursday but had to stay home since I had to let them.in the back gate. I waited all day and no one came when I called their excuse was the heavy rains the week prior left them begind. WHY WOULD YOU SCHEDULE ME IF YOU KNEW YOU WERE BEHIND? The next day my boyfriend called to deal with it and he was told they would be there around 3. He left work to be at the house and guess what!!!! No one showed up. The customer service is awful and the idiots they have manning the phones are useless.

I scheduled a mowing, weeding, trimming service with them. For 4 days in a row they did not show up. I call them twice a day and always hear the same response we were behind, but we are on track today. Service will come before 730pm. And they dont come and dont call. Zero respect for the customer. Zero commitment. Untrustworthy.

Horrible service. Only giving two stars for the office staff that assisted me. Maria was so helpful on getting my service completed. Had the worst experience w/the lawn man that came out. I only needed branches picked up from my back yard. He showed up only to tell us he d be back with a trailer never returned. Received an email that my service had been moved to the next day. The next day a no show. Received an email that my service got moved another day further again. Finally on Friday the guy showed up only to tell me that he didn t have room in his trailer and that the quote was to low and that he needed more money for the service. After speaking with Maria she reassured me that the cost I was bidded was final & she would speak with the crew. The next morning the crew showed up & removed the trees. Had I known it would be that simple I would have contacted her much soon. Even though maria was so helpful I wouldn t recommend fresh lawn.

Andy, the Customer Service Manager made things right immediately!!! He apologized and took ownership of what happened without excuses. Refunded my money and did the yard the next day. I m very impressed and I am staying with this company since Andy made things right. Thank you Andy If I could give them a negative -10, I would... charged for services that I never received. Lied to for 5 days now. Keep staying they will be out the next day. Never showed up, tried to get a hold of the manager but told he is out of the office. Almost a week later still no yard work and no refund!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They will steal your money!!!

Best lawn service i have ever had. When i first called they were very professional very sweet and understanding. Arlet was very well knowledgeable and patient.

We have had them for about two years now, and at first they were great. However, in the past 6 months they have become terrible. At one point they stopped coming to mow my lawn so I had to contact them and find out what happened; apparently they were no longer in my area on Fridays (my scheduled service day) and the date they changed to were Tuesdays, but instead of changing my service date to Tuesdays and communicating with me, they just stopped coming altogether. You would have thought they would have contacted me to inform me of the change and start coming on Tuesdays, but they didnt- it took me contacting them to get the issue resolved. Since they contract with random people, our yard is never done consistently. More recently, they have decided to leave a strip of lawn near the neighbors driveway not mowed because they assume its not our property, although I have contacted them on several occasions to let them know the entire yard is our property and they have assured me they have noted the issue and communicated it to the crews- well obviously not because nothing gets fixed. Overall, they started out good, but now they are terrible and we had to cancel to use a local company that cares about their quality of service.

I would not use this company ever again. They don t return calls and do poor quality work. They did not complete a job they were scheduled for my property which I needed for a showing this Sunday. Had confirmed everything with them a few days before. They guy Francisco came and never showed up with the mulch and never called me back like he said d he would. Now I m left scrambling for a property showing tmrw. Do yourself a favor and find someone else or you will regret it. And their office staff is poor. What a joke. Your in business to provide service. Do your freaking job.

Worst service ever!

I had some issues with the company after moving to a new location but the owner reached out to me after filing a complaint. I am very appreciative of the steps that not only he made but his staff as well. He was very attentive and thorough. I think once the glitches get worked out for this area they will no doubt rate 5 stars! I would recommend as they are reasonably priced and the landscaping work is very good.

They did great at first... Then started slacking, then they just stopped completely... whoever, If you have any problems with their service. Talk to Andy the manger before you quit them. He was actually very friendly, and helpful.

EDIT: Larry from Fresh Lawn Services did reach out to me an offer to make everything right. I was refunded my money and he offered me a free service. I am very appreciative of his response. At this time I have already arranged an alternate service but in the future would be willing to give them another try. If i could give this company a zero i would. Worst service ever. Contracted to cut lawn, did not but charged me. When i complained they came an blew down the driveway but didnt cut. Had to contact them again. Then they scheduled a cutting which was to early. They claim to have cut the lawn with before and after pictures which werent even from the same areas. I sent them pictures and they have not responded to me. Very quick to take my money but did not fulfill there end of the contract. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

Called and made an appointment to get my yard done, the whole thing. Bushes, trees, flower beds. I was really looking forward to seeing what this company had to offer as I was able to get all my wants across to the rep over the phone. As requested I had it planned for Friday, it rained they called and told me it would have to be scheduled for the following day- which was cool. Saturday came and I give them a call to confirm the crew would be coming by. after getting this confirmation I was told the crew would def. Be here before 7pm. Unfortunately I never got to experience Fresh Lawns services, and maybe for the better as they NEVER showed up- no calls either!!!! Disappointed to say the least.

Had a lawn service booked for 10/20/2018 and the company did not show up after the customer service lady assured me they would arrive before sunset and call 30 minutes before arrrival and I never even received any communication. This review is about the management of the company & not the workers who service the lawn. The guys who mowed the lawn and raked the leaves did a very good job. We give the guys who did the work 4 stars. The 2 stars in my review is for the management of the company. The guys showed up on a different day then the one scheduled. When they did not show up on the scheduled day when tried to call the company numerous times but never heard back or reached anyone. When the guys came the next day they said it was because that was the day the management had told them to come. It is the most frustrating and stressful experience with office and management. I cancelled service BEFORE work was scheduled. They still showed up with no notice, or advance communication. Provided partial service, charged full price. i had to rquest cancellation of services a total of three times. Still not sure we are on the same page.

After being delayed by two different services I called Fresh Lawn. It was 6pm in the evening and even though I was happy that they scheduled me for the next day I was estastic when they showed up by 10am! They were fast, thorough and very polite. Ive tried three different lawn services and no ones empressed me more then Fresh Lawn! Thanks to them I can be proud of my yard again. I read a review that stated they enroll you in auto billing without telling you and that is untrue. The email thats sent when acquiring their services clearly states that by clicking on the update card information (even though its on file already) that action will sign you up for auto pay. If you read whats sent you will not have that problem.

We were very pleased with our lawn service from Fresh Lawn. Our yard was full of leaves, and Fresh Lawn came an made it look amazing in a timely manner. We will definitely be using their services again. Thanks Fresh Lawn!

If I could give them less than one star I would! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Im going to tell you my long-drawn out experience, but the short version is DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH ANYTHING!! I paid upfront for lawn services scheduled four days in advance- stupid I know. They were supposed to come mow our lawn on a Thursday. Thursday came and went without any word. I called Friday, and they said they would be out that morning. Never showed up. I called again at noon Friday. They said there were three houses on route before our house and they would be out by end of day. They never showed up. They called late Friday and promised to be out first thing Saturday morning. They never showed up Saturday. I called Saturday morning @ 11:00am. They said they would be out there by end of day Saturday. They never showed up. I called at 4:00pm and asked for a refund and cancellation of service. I was promised a full refund to my bank account in 3-5 days. Wednesday of the next week, so 6 days past when services were supposed to be provided, two people showed up unannounced, trespassing on my property to mow my lawn after I canceled the service. I called back and again was promised that my refund would go through any day. It has been a full week since I called for a refund, and I have not received a refund. I called again this morning and was told they gave me a credit to my account instead of a refund. I am now concerned about them having my personal information because this does not seem like a legitimate business. A couple of things stick out to make me feel like this is not a legitimate business: 1. When making an appointment they asked for payment upfront to verify funds. So now they have my credit card information and charged me for a service I was never provided with. 2. The people who showed up announced to finally mow my lawn said they had only been working for the company for two days. It sounded like the person who was supposed to mow my lawn originally hired help under him to finish his route. The company had no record of these particular people working for them or no idea who hired whom. It is unacceptable to have strangers trespassing on my property after Ive canceled a service. Oh yeah, and I was hung up purposefully three times by the same customer service representative and when I asked to speak with a manager I was denied every time without a reason given.

COMPLETE GARBAGE. No showed on us TWICE! And then had the nerve to call and say it was because of the weather when it was only drizzling out. Joke of a company. Would never use again. Stay away.

I needed my yard mowed due to the excessive rain. I spoke to a rep named Kathryn and she agreed that the mower would be set to the highest setting, grass clippings would be bagged, an edger would be used to edge lawn, and I would receive a call prior to mowers arrival. None of this occurred that was agreed upon. The lawn mower guys cut my lawn with a dull blade at the lowest setting, scalping my front lawn in various places. They broke the city water meter cover, sprinkler heads and branches off a bush. As for the grass clippings they blew them against my foundation and throughout my flower bed. The edging was done with a weed wacker and that was anything but okay. It took two hours to salvage and repair what could be in my front yard. If you value your yard, dont hire this company. I was informed by a rep that they contract workers they send out. He stated that they usually have great contractors servicing lawns. I guess with this company you never know what youre going to get. Use at your own risk.

Scheduled lawn service. Received email confirmation that someone would be out the next day. No one came, no one called. Sent email asking what happened. The response apologized and said I was on the schedule for the next day. Again no call no show. Sent email requesting termination of my service request as well as my account. Never received a response. Save your time and call someone who will actually show up.

Absolutely the worst lawn service Ive ever used. They charge you for weeding but they dont perform the service. I contacted them 5 separate times about it and they refuse to do it, I dont get it. Absolute clown show being ran by this business..its sickening.

Called on june 24th to get my lawn cut . Nobody showed up . I called the next day they said theyd come on the 28th . Guess what happened . Never came . i let a week go by . 4th of July weekend so i figured might be closed . todays the 7th and i call and they tell me that they came on the 6th but My lawn was overgrown so theyd have to charge me more . But instead of just knocking on my door and telling me that they leave and i have to call to find out . What makes it worse is that it was cinsudered Overgrown BECAUSE NOBODY SHOWED UP FOR 2 WEEKS . Horrible will never use . Dont believe the hype

Horrible service. They were sscheduled for monday, never showed up. Called Tues and they lied and said yard was cut. Went to my home today from vacation and it was never cut, but they managed to charge my card for a service that was never done. I will be reporting them to bbb. Stay away from these scammers

I would not recommend this company for the following reasons: 1.) they repeatedly cut our grass too short, even after requesting they use a higher setting (killing it) 2.) brought chinch bugs to our yard (assuming transferred from another yard on their equipment) 3.) after paying for their mulch service, they did not mulch all of the beds paid for and 4.) poor customer service - we tried to work with them on all of the items listed above (excluding chinch bugs, we had to use multiple rounds of an insect killer) and they have not been helpful.

Terrible company to work with. They outsource multiple crews and its the luck of the draw whether your service will be great, or horrible. I left a similar review and they paid me off with 3 free mows to change it, and then on the last one they scalped and killed my grass and caused damage to my patio. They are actively trying to deny they did anything wrong. Avoid at all costs, I wouldnt trust any review posted here either based on my experience.

The work is decent at best but dealing with their office is terrible, an absolute nightmare. I have used them a few times and twice they didnt show up on the scheduled day. This last time, I called on a Tuesday to schedule a service for my lawn on Friday. The lady on the phone quoted a price of $89.00 plus tax and tells me they will be there on Friday. My card is charged for that amount then, Friday comes and they havent shown up. Around 5pm I call the front office give them my information and they tell me the guys work as late as 7:30 and tells guarantees they will be there. 7:30 comes around they still havent shown up and now their offices are closed. I call first thing Saturday and the lady tells me they were behind yesterday and couldnt get to my house. She guarantees they will be there Saturday. The problem with that is we are getting ready for my daughters 3rd birthday party and now we cant set up until they come.. Of course they showed up late in the afternoon. THEN, I see an additional charge of $61 on my account! I call them and they tell me the amount of the total service is actually $140 but they have to charge to part $90 up front!!! When I asked why that process wasnt clear in the beginning and why I was led to believe the total amount was $90 all they could offer was I dont know... I will never use them again. The first time not showing up on the scheduled day is somewhat excusable but having it done twice with no communication shows that this is okay to them.

I requested one time service on August 18, 2017 and they charged my credit card that same day. I was told my lawn would be serviced on Friday. Its Monday, August 21, 2017 no one showed up yet. I called several times and Amber told me they would do it on Saturday then it was moved to Sunday no one never returned my call or attempted to call me. I was put on hold for over 20 mins when I called today to request a refund but Thursday it took them 5 minutes or less to charge my card for a service I never received. Now I have to start the entire process over of trying to find a trustworthy company to cut my grass! This company is unprofessional and unorganized dont do business with them they are clueless when it comes to their work crew showing up to do a scheduled job.

This company should get no stars but it wont let me post without giving them at least one , as they are a joke. Called them as a first time customer on September 22nd to set up a monthly lawn mowing service. Was told that they would be there on Thursday, September 24th and as of 5pm they had not shown up. When my husband called they said they had until 7:30pm to show up; which they did not. Called again on Friday, September 25th and they said they would be there and they did not show up that day either. We left for vacation on Sunday the 27th and on Thursday the 31st he called to find out if our lawn had been mowed and left a message; no one called him back. Called again on Friday, September 1st and left a message for someone to call him back; and they did not. Called again on Saturday, September 2 on our way home from our vacation and someone actually answered the phone and said someone will be out there today to have that done for you;weve had a gas shortage here in San Antonio. Which is not the truth because there was no gas shortage and the hurricane had not even hit when they said they were going to be here on the 24th of Sept. We arrived home late Saturday afternoon and guess what our lawn was not mowed; checked our banking account and they had took out the $41.14 charge to mow our grass. My husband made several calls and left messages and I left several calls and left messages and as of today which is Thursday, September 7th no one has returned our call. We did get an email from a lady who said shes there accounting person and they are going to reverse the charge. No doubt youre going to reverse the charges idiots; you didnt even do a service that you were supposed to do and promised three different times to be here. DO NOT use this company; they are a JOKE. My husband was the one who set up the service and he usually checks reviews on companies but for some reason he did not this time. After this happened to us and checking reviews they have more worst reviews than better. They have 5 reviews on the Better Business Bureau and theyre all bad and a grade F with the Better Business Bureau.

Ive used this lawn service for 3-4 years. There have been occasional issues, however. Ive always had a good rapport with the Customer Service Representatives as well as the Owner and several Managers and they are quick to resolve any issues or concerns. They are always kind and considerate. Word of Advice: Make your specifications clear to the Representatives or on-line when scheduling service. I really like their on-line scheduling service. It is easy to use and my questions are always handled in a timely manner. If you have a crew that does a good job on your yard, be sure to let the office know so that they keep that crew on your schedule.

I own a German Shepherd and another dog. I complied with their requirement to have my dogs in the house when they came around to mow. Then, knowing that I have dogs, they leave my back gate open so my dogs can get out (with my German Shepherd this could have been catastrophic for me). I politely asked them to make sure it was closed and received an acknowledgement from them. Then they leave my gate open again without me knowing and I find another dog roaming my back yard. The dog was lucky not to have been seriously injured before I got her out. So potential future customers beware. Simple instructions fall on deaf ears with these guys and could cost you big. Stay away!!!

Worst service Ive ever had for lawn care. Would have to call multiple times to get them back out to mow my yard. They would mow the front but not the sides of the house on multiple occasions. Paid to have some bricks removed from the side of my house and they didnt do the work. Took me over a month to get a refund for the work the didnt perform. They mowed over my new water hose and wouldnt reimburse me. Pretty ridiculous. Even the managers at the office would laugh at the down right comical issues from the lawn crews not doing a basic service, Would not recommend.

At first I had great service. Then the company started semding different people who were unprofessional. Taking smoke breaks on my lawn and leaving trash at my home. I tried to complain to thw staff and they were very rude and did not care that I was having problems and said nothing when I told them I wanted to cancel my services.

Updated-- September 26, 2017 For quality yard maintenance, I would definitely recommend Fresh Services. Andy, the sales manager, did an amazing job ensuring my yard needs were met to my satisfaction. The yard crews that arrived on site are very professional, and took cautious care when tending my property. As a tip-- to have the upmost outstanding service through Fresh Services-- I recommend setting up an automatic schedule for your yard care with them, instead of calling for services on an as needed basis. This will help minimize the stress of the yard crew not being able to show up last minute, or worse, not inform/update you. You also get a better rate when you set up an automatic schedule with Fresh Services, and a better turn around time if the yard crews are delayed. I am very content with Fresh Services once Andy took matters into his own hands. I will continue to recommend Fresh Services to other.

The services are pretty good. For the price its great. But, dealing with their costumer service wasnt the best experience. We had requested roof cleaning, leaf cleaning and lawn mowing. Even though we were getting billed for it, they consistently left parts of our lawn uncut, leafs everywhere, and pine needles on the roof. When we asked why this was happening. We were told, they dont do pine needle removal from roofs, but when they do they charge $30 for it. ??What?? You offer a service, you bill me for the service, and then say you dont do it?? Thats just insanity! Im sure there was some kind of misunderstanding. They dont offer a consistent crew. We had a different, sub contracted team every time. We once collected all of the pine needles and put them all in one area so that they would pick them all up, and they still just left them there. THEN, we got billed for leaf removal! It was just becoming too much of a hassle to deal with their inconsistencies and excuses. The reason they get two stars and not one, is because, they did show up as expected and what they did do, they did well. I would rather use this company as a one time or as needed bases. They are friendly and will try to provide services at their best ability. Unfortunately, our expectations where higher than their standard. We were helped by Ms, Katherine, Multiple times. As sweet as she is, We just couldnt get what we asked for.

I contacted the service several times over the course of months about the problematic areas in the photos below. They continued to ignore the areas allowing them to overgrow. When someone finally responded to a support message I was told they would handle 2 of the 3 areas but would need to give me a quote on the bushes. None of the Areas were addressed and the bushes were quoted at $120 and an additional $30 fee to haul away debris. I found this unacceptable and when I went to cancel my service, found I had to contact them directly and wait for a response for my service to be canceled instead of it just being a viable option from the menus. In short, false promises, bad response to customer requests and overpriced additional work). Do not use this service, it is an automated service meant to drain your account with sub-par service for months before requiring you to hump through hoops to remove your payment information.

Worst company ever I called on Monday to have my grass serviced waited all Monday - Thursday on someone to come out no one came and tomorrow is Friday my money was refunded they said but I am still waiting on someone to come out to service my yard after cutting half and keeping the other half high so that they can just charge my card . Really wanted to become a customer but no anymore

For one thing work that I requested was never done. However, they ripped me off. They do cut grass well, but not anything else.

**Update 10/31/2017** The company reached out to me and did a very good job resolving the problem. They even went so far as to do my initial cut for free, even though it was quite overgrown. The man that came out and did my yard did a great job. He was professional, pleasant to talk to, and answered all my questions. I am happy to keep using this company, and hope that I can get this particular man as often as possible. They did not show up the day they were scheduled to come. The following day we called and they sent a crew over. One of the workers knocked on the door and said I would need to talk to the office because there would be an additional charge for the overgrowth. I told him that per our agreement (which was sent in an email) they could charge extra, up to 2x the regular amout if there was overgrowth, so the office did not need my approval (I am sick and have mostly lost my voice, so talking on the phone is difficult). I looked out a few minutes later and the crew was gone. I called their office and was told it would an additional $40 because of the overgrowth (which would be more than 2x the agreed upon amount). I agreed that the back yard was overgrown, but that our yard is also incredibly tiny. I pointed out their own policy, and the lady said she could send someone out and *maybe* they would do it. I asked that she please just refund what had already been charged, because this is a company that I just dont want to do business with. Hopefully this is done without me having to call again.

I gave this service a second try after I had a less than professional experience with another service. The first time with Fresh Lawn Mowing, I had crews that would not show up for service at all so I left. Today I had an excellent experience with a great crew who made sure I was satisfied with the job they just completed before leaving. I have scheduled my next service with the same crew. It goes to show that when you express a concern, someone is listening and cares about the customer experience. Thank you for putting the customer first!

Great customer service, easy payment, and a sharp looking lawn.

Excellent customer service and they are always ready to answer any questions. The direct pay account setup is very for the mowing and edging. You also have the flexibility to change the weekly schedule in winter, when the grass is dormant. The crews are efficient and its a great business to use.

Fresh Lawn Mowing does a great job. They are careful around my vegtable garden and edge my yard perfectly. They have great customer service and they keep in contact with their customers via e-mail. Their website makes it convient to schedule services and pay the bill. No writing checks or leaving cash taped to your door. This is a great company. If ever there is an issue, all I have to do is send a message and they are fast to fix it (very rare about once every 2 years and I have been with them over 4 years)

They always come in the scheduled time and finish the work with good quality. I would recommend them to everyone who needs lawn care service in Houston.

Unfortunately there isnt a way to give this service a negative star. Beware of this company. When you cancel their services they will continue to send out crews. If you call them and cancel them again, they will tell you sorry and you are not forced to pay for their mistake. But, a year later a collection agency will shake you down for payment or they will report your credit. But, again dont worry because you will have an hour to decide. This is a predatory company. Stay away.

Paid $99 for front & back to be mowed, because was overgrown. Only mowed the front. Back has yet to be touched after 2 weeks of repeated calls & promises to make right.

Fresh Lawn is a very convenient service. I love that I can make requests, payments and adjustments to my account online. Katherine responds very quickly to online requests, even outside of normal business hours.

Just initiated service with them and they did a great job. There was a minor issue with edging but Katherine got back to me right away, gave me a discount for my next service and are coming back tomorrow. Pleased so far.

I have adjusted my review. Recently Fresh Lawn has failed to respond to my email inquires and they are not answering their phones during work hours. I have tried within the past few days.. needing to reschedule service and its like the business has shut down. This is completely unacceptable and inconvenient! So they can just ignore my requests and continue business as usual? I am actively looking for another lawn service company as I cannot deal with their arrogance.

Katherine. I was not really pleased with the services I received. 1. I used your service because I was having a lawn party for children.The work was begun but not completed before the day of the party. 2. Lawn was mowed and trimmed (poorly) There were 2 areas of my yard that were not trimmed (4ft along fence by gate on north side of house) and about 30ft along south side of house between fence and back corner of house. 3. When mowing near a/c unit clippings were blown toward the unit clogging the cooling vents (I had to have a/c company come and clean unit afterwards) 4. I requested flower beds weeded and bushes trimmed. This was not completed until 2 days after mowing. I was expecting professional service for the price. (This did not seem like skilled professionals to me) It is unlikely I will use your services again. Not complaining, just replying to your request and stating facts.

good service, love the reminder emails the day before to unlock gate and relocate my dog for the service, love the emailed receipts, would recommend, occasionally the crew forgets to shut your gate all the way so double check before letting pets back out, occasionally they have forgot to pull weeds however when i have called they always get someone back out asap, will continue to choose fresh lawn over the many other options in my area

Our lawn mower broke and we had to get someone out here ASAP. They came the next day we called and our yard looks great! The tech apologized for not doing the best and said next time will be better. He was very professional and strives for the best. Our yard was a yard one to concur and he did it but thinks it wasnt his best! I cant wait to see what his best is considering it looks great!

Ive had these guys for probably close to a year now. I should have gotten rid of them a long time ago. I had them for THREE different houses, they did the same horrible job in all three. I had agreed with them when i first hired them that if i get my yard cleaned up around the fence and near flower beds, they will going forward maintain it by just blowing the pine needles out and collecting them with the grass. I had cleaned my flower beds and near the fence line just as they said. For 6 months they blew the pine needles from my grass into the corners near the fence instead of blowing out from my fence. As a result, in a couple of months you will have a clean year in the middle and piles of debris in all corners. I cleaned myself twice more - ended up with the same problem. They never went around my garage - out of sight out of mind. I had 4 foot long weeds growing there (there were NONE when i first hired them). After i complained they asked for more money because the weeds were too tall. I told them they got tall cause they ignored them for months. They blew me off and did nothing about it. If you ever complain, they pretend not to speak English, call their office, the office calls you back and asks you for more money to pay them for not doing their job for many months. I was sucked by the convenience to pay by credit card and with a busy life took too long to fire them. Well they are gone today!

The worst customer service. Their contractors do not do their job right and nobody cares. If you call to complain, they would just hang up on you. They are also unreliable and do not show up every so often with no explanation or heads-up.

I have used Fresh Lawn Service before to install mulch so when it was time to install again I called them. They do a wonderful job and always show up on the scheduled day. I have been very satisfied with Fresh Lawn. They assign different contractors each week for my service who take pictures to document the work done. Katherine at the central email and phone has always been very responsive, even later into the evening. They have always immediately responded to any request, more responsive and timely than most. Fees are paid electronically. The easiest yard service I have had.

Freshlawn has been taking care of my yard for almost 4 years. They consistently do a good job and are easy to work with to change schedules from weekly to every other week or to add in other services. Their web portal is easy to use as well. Katherine is quick to respond via email requests and help with the above mentioned items and anything else I need. Ive been using these guys for about 5 months and they have been great. They are super quick and consistent. Recently I used their website to pause service for the winter. I was expecting to get a call about it within a couple days. Katherine called me within minutes. Asked me when I want to plan on resuming service and told me my next service once it has resumed will be free. Fantastic customer service. Would definitely recommend.

Great service and I have recommended Fresh Lawn. They do a good job, are on schedule and adjust for rain, have competitive prices, there might be different people doing it sometimes but I have never seen any damages or had any problems, and they can even do additional services if you like. Absolutely no issues, and the customer service is very responsive.
