I live in the 77078 area , When I moved to Houston 2 years ago I called around to get quotes from different companies. It wasn t easy because many companies either didn t answer , no longer were a company or just didn t service my zip code. However This company came up and Once I called, I inquired if he serviced my area and how much for a first time customer. The guy answered yes then disregarded my other question and proceeded to ask would this be a one time service or bi weekly service. Considering it d be my first time I didn t want to commit to a bi weekly agreement because 1. Ive yet to experience their customer service to build a genuine connection 2. I needed to be sure the service provided was of quality and 3. Considering I relocated to a new property I d like to observe the growth rate of my lawn to be sure of when the service would actually be necessary. I responded I d want to determine that based on the service and then he declined my business by stating he s only accepting customers who are agreeing to a biweekly. I moved on and found a loyal independent lawn care provider who cleaned, trimmed and edged my lawn and charged me between $40-$60 depending on the height. He recently got hurt and is no longer able to continue. Considering it had been so long since ived called around i didn t realize I found myself contacting this company again. Not sure if it was the same guy from 2 years ago however the guy that answered seemed more willing to continue, I remembered once He asked would this be one time or reoccurring I gave the same response I d like to determine by the service . he asked to send my name and address and that he d get back with me, he didn t follow up and I had only assumed it was because he may have lost track of time. I waited a few days and called back he then asked for a picture of my front and back yard to give a price and stated since I m not signing up for reoccurring service THE first service was $200 or $250 I can t remember and any service after was $90. For the size of my lawn with no big trees in sight that is absurd. Thats the price of a major monthly bill. He didn t even provide me any further detail to make sense of the price only that because it s not reoccurring that ll be their rate. I respect many personal small businesses however for myself and I m sure a fraction of others needing such service I am apart of the American working class that s just trying to survive. A price like that should be based on other key factors and as a first time customer WHAT A GREAT DEAL !?

Reached out to him for a quote for small landscaping work on a gas station. He informed me that he could be out the same day to see it and quote it. He failed to show up and after a few ignored calls and text messages, he postponed it for the next day. Not a problem. He did not show up the next day either. Reached out 5 days later still no answer. He picked up the first phone call after 3 rings but is now ignoring calls and text messages. I informed George that we had a time frame since the gas station is a national chain and we would ve liked to have (atleast the quote) within the next few days. He was polite enough on the phone but lacks communication, reliability and integrity.

The owner, Jorge, came by and provided an assessment of my damaged lawn and a fair price to get my lawn back in order. Jorge and crew dug up all of the diseased grass and replaced it with new sod. He followed up with instructions for getting my sod to spread and grow. Evergreen knocked it out of the park with our homes landscape. We also do rye grass over seeding during the winter season. We love the stripes!

I am not a big fan of leaving negative reviews but these guys are extremely unprofessional. Week in and week out after servicing my neighbor s lawn they always manage to blow the trash onto my property. If it s not in my lawn it s on my driveway or all over the street. They ve been doing this for the last few months. I spoke to my neighbor about it and to see if they could stop as I am always having to go out and cleanup after there mess after each visit. I am not sure if they were ever told to stop or if they simply don t care and kept doing it. Now my biggest problem is this: I googled their info after seeing their truck in hopes I could reach out myself. After finding his business info it is very apparent that a big amount of these reviews are absolutely fake left by either the owner or someone he know. The last 2 reviews alone seem to have the same name, yet he still is able to respond to them as if they were actual clients. Is this someone you want to do business with? Not sure how many of these reviews are fake. I surely hope these guys can do a better job and be honest about their work

I have used Evergreen for the past 6 months. They mow my yard on a biweekly schedule and do an amazing job time after time. The one time I had a concern George came out to see it and addresses it immediately. He is very professional and responsive. I have also needed lawn care, outside of the normal schedule, multiple times and he is always able to accommodate.

They mowed my lawn for a few months. It was fine until I noticed that they were not moving the downspout extenders and the weed watcher completely destroyed all of them. At $15 a piece, this costed me $100. They also ripped out flowers and gave me a very small credit which did not pay for the replacement flowers. The reason I m writing this review today is because they still take care of my neighbor s yard and blow all of the leaves into mine. I recommend finding a more considerate lawn service than this company!
