Great place for outdoor and lawn equipment and supplies. The staff is 1st rate, the only place I go for my outdoor equipment parts and supplies.

It was okay. Came to change mower blades and they got me in and out in ten minutes

They are very busy and if you want your lawn more done or anything else done quickly you have to do it before the season as they are pretty backed up but you can order things for your lawn mower or other parts that you need.

I was missing a part of my cheap Homelite chainsaw. Just a simple little blade but. I went to Hope Mills Saw and Mower and received fantastic service. It cost $1.08. Had I gone to Home Depot or Lowes it would have been at least $5.00 for a whole pack of nuts and washers and I would have had to find it myself. Places like this have great customer service!

Back on Monday July 11: This place was very busy today and there was actually a line. They did seem to be fully staffed so it went fast. They had a part that I actually thought they would have to order. I am well pleased with this business. Very close to our house. Very friendly & knowledgeable.

Some lady who checked me out had a very nasty attitude for no reason. I was told one price for a part but once I arrived they charged me $15 more than they originally told me. I won t come back to this establishment and I m sure they don t care either. It s a sad world we live in even still today.

Hope Mills saw and mower have always given me great attention and service. I work on most stuff for other people other than my own and most of the time the parts they give me is 100% perfect. I know that with any business there are a few choice that you really trust and mine there is Allen and Carrie and Tony. Seldom have they lead me astray. Great people to do business with. If you need parts for your lawn equipment you need to check them out.

Had a friend pick up drive belt and deck belt from here. He said it took a little bit for guy to cross reference belt numbers. Got home took old belts off mower, installed both new ones. So its been an hour since belts were bought, thought i would try it out. Seven swipes in the yard loud noise, shut off looked deck belt had shredded everywhere. Called to place let them know what had happened. Well, rude lady on the phone pretty much was telling me all the things that could cause this. I stopped her and told her none of that was possible. They must have too much business to need anymore. So i put 9yr old belt back on and finished my yard that didnt even need to be cut in the first place.

Went in to have my chainsaw fixed and they was back up for 3 to 4 weeks but the guy looked at it and found the problem and fixed it right on the spot. Asked how much was the damage and he said nothing. So I had to buy a chain for the saw. The ppl. In there are so helpful that I will recommend them to anyone. Please goto them and keep the money in the community.

You know they may look small, but they have alot of buissness and it is well deserved! We were going to lowes or home depot for all our lawn mowing needs, but ending up spending a pay check just to keep everything going. We come here and our blades that are $50 at those locations are $20 all together here! We have a riding lawn mower and it gets expensive to buy blades that wont fit the bill! These blades fit the mower and are way better quality and made for the mower you own! They ask you the make, model or serial number and BOOM they have it ready for you! Totally recommend and it honestly doesnt hurt to try, it is worth it!

Worst customer service, DO NOT RECOMMEND I went here on a Thursday morning at around 10 o clock to just look at purchasing a new chainsaw and getting an older one repaired. I should have seen the warnings and just turned around and left. There were signs all over this place in BOLD ALL CAP LETTERS that screamed POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. The signs were all things Hope Mills Saw DOES NOT DO for customers and WHAT CUSTOMER s ARE EXPECTED TO DO FOR THEM. No parts ordered without being paid for okay etc .BUT there was one that was a first, I have never seen a business ask customers to pay for repairs before they are done. HOW DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH TO PAY IF THERE IS NO ESTIMATE FIRST, PARTS LIST, LABOR HOURS ETC Are they just making this stuff up .? But I hung in there and stayed, there were a handful of customers, with 4 male employees helping them and two ladies talking in the back. NO ONE SAID ANYTHING no hello, no be right with you, no one even looked or acknowledged me. I thought okay they are busy, then after 8-10 mins this lady acts like someone dragged her out of the back to do some work at work. And keeping the same non-customer service attitude I experienced early she says what do you need help with again no good morning how are you what can I help you with thanks for stopping by . No she says what do you need help with. I ve waited and I feel like this trip may work out because I actually was able to get someone s attention, I said well first I need to get this repaired and of course Ms. Customer Service cuts me off and says WE DON T SERVICE ANYTHING THAT WASN T PURCHASED HERE, YOU NEED YOUR RECEIPT and IT WILL TAKE TWO WEEKS TO BE LOOKED AT. I said thank you and left..again I do not recommend this place after my experience with the employee (older lady) and their overall poor customer service this place does not deserve my business. This experience left me with the understanding they are so busy and are already making so much MONEY they do not need customers, the customers need them. Save yourself the frustration try H & D Lawnmower Service or Richmond Rentals & Sales (they do repairs too).

Although, Hope Mills Saw and Mover is not in my area, it is the only place that has everything concerning small engines repairs, parts and labor. I have hedge cutters over 30 years and this place has the parts for it, no ordering the parts for. Also I have gas and electric saw that is 20 years, again has parts for these with no ordering the parts for. Last 10 years to present, I bought riding lawnmower, gas and ellectric tree trimmer, weedwackers or weedtrimmers, gas tilter and small electric tilter. I been to Lowes, Home Depot and other yard equipment centers but Hope Mills Saw and Mower has never let me down. Maybe a bit pricey,, in the long run, I 0a8d what I get and the money is well worth it and youll see this too!

Bought a zero turn mower from them, they had it in stock and were kind enough to deliver it to my house at no charge, they sold it to me at MSRP, not marked up with a here and now charge as most places do. A week later I returned and bought a trimmer and back pack blower. Gary was very friendly and they have almost everything in stock. Overall a pleasure to work with. Retail is a tricky business, most places only want your money. At this establishment its very clear they want to help you and want to earn your business.
