Weed Man Lawn Care in Hoover

The customer service is horrible. Try calling the number on an invoice. After holding for 3 minutes, It tells you to call back later and hangs up.

Service was going alright for the first couple of visits but now my lawn seems to be getting worse! I decided to just cancel my plan but it s proving to be extremely difficult. I can t even log into my customer account because I wasn t even provided with my credentials to log into it and the standing store never answers the phone! This is truly frustrating.

Joe is an amazing human being and runs an amazingly tight ship. This branch is dedicated, efficient and honest; I m extremely pleased with their work and would highly recommend anyone to sign on with Weed Man!

I m very satisfied with weedman my lawn looks fantastic my sister is now using weedman, everyone of the people I ve dealt with have been fantastic I especially like Matthew he is very knowledgeable, polite and a great person to deal with!

Absolutely amazining services! They were here bright and early and did what they were supposed to do unlike TruGreen. The technicians were very easy going and genuinely wanted my yard to look gorgeous. Trey did a very good job explaining and walking me through everything. Love Weedman and dont plan on switching. I wish I could give negative stars for Weed Man Lawn Care. I called last week to set up the service and was told they do a total of 7 treatments spread out by about 4-5 weeks and they would call me within 2 weeks to set up the first treatment. Each cost was $80 but it is spread out so $560 doesn t seem that bad. They showed up the next day without notice and my grass hadn t been cut yet so they couldn t do it. I told the man I had not received a notice and he said they would come back tomorrow. They didn t show so I called a second time. This time they scheduled me for Friday. Friday came and went and nobody showed up. I called a third time and they said they couldn t do it because of wind but nobody notified me of anything. The 4th time I had to call I decided to cancel, but the woman on the phone told me I would get $50 off the first treatment so I gave them another chance. They came a few days later and charged me $110! When I called and asked why they said they did 2 treatments at once because I was so late calling them the first time. This means that even though they tell you $80 per visit, they could come and do all the visits in one go and charge you $560 for the service. This company has no integrity and will try to rip you off the first chance they get.

Called for a quote for aeration. Highest quote of the day, very high amount for entire yard (not that big). I said okay, what would you charge for front only. He says $20 off. Shouldnt it be half? What?!?! How when my backyard is bigger than front. SCAM LIKELY. DISHONEST AND RIP OFF. I dont do business with con artist.

We were satisfied with Weed Man. We tried it for a year and it was good. We always made sure someone was at home so they knew which areas to do. Two times (we think by mistake) we saw on our cameras they would come hang a invoice on the door and go back to the car. Then they would come back and remove the invoice again. But overall a good experience, weeds are still gone while at my neighbours they start growing already. We decided to end the service because we rather have our lawn mowed by a company and then we will take care of the weeds ourself.

We planned two have aeration 2 months in advance and called numerous times to ensure job would be performed on time. To top that off we paid in advance . Never showed up. When I called they said they rescheduled, but never told me. Again called several times to ensure job would be completed. Again never showed up. Poor customer service No reliability

This is by far the best lawn care company! When they say they are the best in the world they mean it! From customer service, to punctuality and care. The Techs pour their sweat blood and tears into their work and it shows. You will not be disappointed. 10/10 would recommend!!!

I honestly have nothing good to say about my experience with Weed Man Lawn care. They never seemed to answer the phone or respond to messages sent through their own customer portal. Their service left my yard with nothing other than crab grass and brown spots.

Why would you promise to fix my lawn but make it worse. You then advised me you would not charge me because of all the issue but now I have a bill in collection. I tried to get it resolved but was told by the manger it is nothing they can do since we sent it to collections.

One of the workers, Matthew is very nice, answered any question I had, great guy. They did a great job. Definitely would recommend!

He took the time to diagnose the problem, give an affordable and effective solution, and now my grass looks amazing. To be honest I was told that I may not notice the reduction of misquotes after the first time but sitting out on the front t porch at dusk I ia ent been bit but maybe once or twice. We have had the BEST experience! They are always on time and respectful. They let me know when they are here to spray and treat my yard. Matthew is who comes to treat and is so kind and does an incredible job. He always tidies up, closes gates back etc for our dog. We use them for mosquito treatment as well and can actually enjoy sitting outside and let our kids play without being eaten alive! Worth every penny. I highly recommend this company!

We have been very satisfied with our service from Weedman. Matthew s attention to detail and knowledge addressing any concerns has made it a pleasant experience. Our yard looks far better than it did prior to their service. It s nice to pull up to your home and not be the house in the neighborhood that has weeds in the yard as we have been in the past!

Weedman was a terrible experience they treated my yard for almost three years and I have more weeds now than I have ever had and they lied and said they were doing aeration and charged me for it but never did it and my yard is still bare where they supposedly promised that the aeration would solve the problem I would not recommend these guys to ANYONE they lie and they do not preform the services they promise and the people in their offices are worse than the technicians they just tell you what they think you want to hear and make promises that they do not keep please be careful of this business this is truly a REAL REVIEW

Started this service a few months ago and the lawn transformation is hard to describe in text. Ive had no problems. Grass is a complete 180 from what it was. They provide great service and answer any questions that you may have. Recommended.

I would highly recommend this service! My centipede lawn is lush and green with no weeds! They also have been spraying for mosquitoes this summer. I usually get eaten alive, but I have been able to enjoy yard work and sitting on my deck in the evening with no problem. When I first moved into my rental, the lawn was practically 90% weeds and 10% grass. The difference after just a few treatments is simply astonishing! Mr Derek did a great job informing me that he could take care of all my weed issues on my lawn unfortunately I cant afford it right now , but I am definitely going to give it a shot soon! It adds 10-15% to the equity on my house so how can I pass that up?

Hired Weed Man to take care of my lawn. Cancelled the service after watching on my camera their tech drive up and just put a bill on the door. The services on the bill he never completed, bill was already pre made. I called and complained and they said theyd send someone to actually perform the services. Same guy came out and did the same thing. I called and cancelled the service. They sent someone out to my house and performed a service even after I cancelled. Then they started calling me for payment. I told them numerous times that Id cancelled (I even called them before the service was performed after receiving an email that they would be out the next business day when Id already canceled.) Now, they have sent it to collections which is fine. I dont mind disputing with the credit companies just like I did with my bank. Terrible company. P.S. I got suspicious when my lawn showed no improvement over the course of a year. Same weeds in the same location. Who knows how long theyd be charging me for not completing their service.

These guys are so thorough, and professional, in addition, their products last longer than what I was buying at Lowes. Honestly just let the professionals do it, cause I was messing my yard up.

They sent a tech , but he did not service my yard. I have 3 cameras around my house neither one picked him up in the yard . I called to complain . The response was Our Tech has no reason to lie ( Emily) I would never use our recommended this co. Negative

They have done everything they said they would and with excellent customer service! I could tell a difference in my lawn immediately. You get your own technician and that is who you have every time. I have a lot of questions and they are patient and informative. They are not pushy which means everything to me! I am VERY pleased with Weed Man. Give them a try!

I had a patchy lawn. When I signed up for weed control and fertilization, I specifically asked the salesperson if I needed aeration on the lawn and he said no. We discovered that it did indeed need aeration, but I was charged for the services I didnt really need. You cant fertilize a ground that doesnt have seeds in it or has a ground where seeds cant pernitrate. Why would I pay for a service that wouldnt fix the problem? I expressed my desire to continue the service with aeration which would commence in the fall but didnt want to pay for the services based on the bad information I received. My lawn still has patches all over it. I then received mixed responses from customer service, the first lady spoke over me the entire time, one of the worst customer experiences Ive ever encountered. She insisted I received email verification therefore I was responsible. Am I responsible if a company sells me a product based on poor information? The answer is probably yes, but buyers- be warned. The second lady was helpful and understood my concern. A manager is apparently calling me tomorrow. Maybe bad information and poor customer service can still be rectified.

I have requested that technicians knock on my door before performing their work, and theyve done so. Email communication is prompt, and best of all, weeds are now under control.
