Hapa Landscaping always does outstanding work on our yard. Just recently, the maintenance they performed spruced up our yard and the new plantings are perfect additions to our existing landscaping. We are so pleased with their staffs expertise and hard work. Big mahalo!

Weve used Hapa Landscaping before, and have been very happy with how the crew efficiently and cheerfully pruned and shaped our lush Nuuanu yard. The large Pak Lan, Monkey Pod, and Java Plum trees were given equal care and attention as the myriad smaller plants and palms. All tidied up and proportional; they do an excellent job. In this instance, though, we needed a drainage solution. Our downspouts, our concrete steps and walkway, did not carry such a volume of water - it rains a lot in Nuunau - far enough away from the house. Thanks to Hapas plan, and the execution of the plan, new water-catching basins, on different sides of the house, connect to a new French Drain System, underground channels that join and send all roof and walkway runoff well away from the house. The grading was adjusted to accommodate a preexisting waterpipe, and a large, unexpected underground obstacle - momentarily threatening the project - was expertly overcome. An effective system - unseen below the lawn - that truly adds value to the property. Well worth it!

I ve used Hapa for multiple projects on different properties over the past 5-6 years. This review is for a recent yard refresh. From the initial consult to the finished product the team was easy to work with and professional. The workspace was kept tidy throughout the process and I am thrilled with the results.

A car plowed through our front yard a few months ago and completely destroyed it. We hired Hapa for the entire restoration, which included the rebuilding of retaining walls; removal of debris and damaged trees; installation of a new sprinkler system; and new landscaping (sod, shrubs, palms). We re super happy with the results, as well as our experience with the Hapa team. Everyone we worked with was awesome Santiago, Ace, Dylan, to name a few. Hapa provided a reasonable quote, given the scope of our project. They communicated with us promptly whenever we had questions. (The office staff was very responsive, too.) Hapa completed work in the timeframe promised and stayed on budget. They cleaned up and left our property in stellar shape. Hapa exceeded our expectations, and we d definitely recommend them!

We recently hired Hapa Landscaping to fix up the perimeter of our Maunawili home. My husband and I are both very pleased with the results. These guys are super solid, their hardscape team are beast. These guys knocked out my wall rebuild in 3 days and were out there in the pouring rain. Knocked 1 star off b/c there was some confusion on the scope of work ( they resolved it pretty well ) and they left a bit of a mess in the front. Took maybe half hour for me to clean up. Will defenitly be using these guys again. They do tend to cost a little bit more than other companies....but they actually show up when they say and do great work.

Brant and crew were great! We hired them to install our synthetic lawn and to do some tree care around the back of the house. Job was done as described. Very easy to work with and communication was very smooth. Couldnt be happier!

Hapa landscaping did an awesome job with our lawn restoration project as well as some branch trimming from a hard to reach pine tree. Disappointed in several landscaping companies that I had used previously, my brother had very high praises for Hapa Landscaping and said they were worth the money . He was so right. The hardworking crew were friendly, polite, and professional in every way. I knew they took great pride in their work when I saw them pruning individual branches from the pine tree and also while they were doing a final inspection of our lawn, saw them hand leveling and filling the holes where they could have possibly missed some areas. They left the area clean and neat when they were done. I happily recommend them to all my friends and family.

We had Hapa put in a french drain. Service was great at the time of install. But, they accidentally broke our sprinklers. When I called to have them fix their mistake I was told I would not be charged for the repair. I was then immediately charged for the repair. $800 to repair what they broke. When I contacted them to fix the billing issue, no one would contact me back. I emailed, texted, and called. No one at Hapa has done the right thing. This company is booked out months in advance. Service is poor. They do not care about customer service.

3 workers started on Monday, they were done by Thursday!! Great work and Im very satisfied with their work. Thank you again!! The yard looks really good and love going out and using it now!! Oh and no more red dirt coming into our home!!

We had synthetic turf installed in our backyard by Hapa Landscaping. They did a great job, quality work. We had a slight issue with grading upon completion which was dealt with professionally and in a timely manner as they addressed and solved the issue. These are the kind of people you want to do business with. Highly Recommend!

These guys did an amazing job bringing our front yard back to life after a pool installation. They built a beautiful horizontal stained fence, installed Synlawn around the pool, added pavers, gravel and plants -- made everything look great. They also rolled with a LOT of changes and tweaks along the way. Great work!
