G & H Landscaping, Inc. in Holyoke

Our front landscape project has just wrapped up and we are totally thrilled at how it shows and so happy we chose G & H Landscaping. Thank you to Gary for a wonderful landscape plan. He worked with us and made sure we were pleased with the design he came up with. Because of G & H Landscape employees, Juan's and Ferdinand's dedicated expertise and hard work, our 60 year old outdated landscaping has been transformed into something of true beauty! These 2 employees, were so thorough and precise in their work and detail of the job. They were very careful with everything surrounding the landscape project and worked safe in whatever they accomplished. Also, they were always nice and polite and asked for our input too. Great company! They came to turn on my sprinkler system and they calibrated everything and got it running properly! Will definitely use them again in the future

Extended our driveway did an excellent job unbelievable work.

My first two years with this company were great. They installed sod in my front yard and we used them for all of our fertilizer needs. Our third year not so great, we continued with the fertilization program and watered our lawn every other day. I was getting concerned when large patches of our lawn were turning brown and dying off. I called the company and was quickly brushed off by the phone receptionist. She told me that my lawn condition was because of the extreme hot dry weather we were having. Since large portions of my lawn were still alive and green I had a hard time accepting her response. I was disappointed that nobody came out to actually see what the problem might of been. Here we are in October, we literally took it upon ourselves to reseed 3/4 of our front lawn. I am very disappointed at the fact that nobody came out to check our lawn. We paid almost 2 thousand dollars for the fertilization program, for that kind of money, I expect better service.

I've been using G&H for years, starting with overhaul of landscape, and continued care and maintenance of our yard. They do everything, well, and are very reliable. If I call office, concerns are taken care of quickly, and the staff is great! I highly recommend ! 5 stars!

Gary, I just wanted to let you know that your guys finished the seeding today and the entire project came out BEAUTIFULLY! Please be sure to thank them for us and tell them they did a great job. We loved the thoughtful touch of an accent rock that was larger than the rest of the ones in the rock bed. For me one of the best things about G&H is you came right out and gave us a quote and were back in a few weeks to do the project. I didn’t have to you chase you down all season.

If I could have posted no stars I would have. I had to post this review because of my utter disappointment. I paid $650 for landscaping 07/01/2017. I didn't get a call to schedule anything for over month. When I called in 08/2017 I was told that It would be done by the end of the week. I waited another 2 weeks. I called back and was told it was going to be at the end of the month. I waited and called again 09/2017 and was told it would be done in another week. By the end of September I had had enough and told them I wanted an exact date or my money back, My hedges were overgrown and my neighbor was going to report us to the city. I was then told again it would be the end of the next week. That weekend I paid another landscaper to do the job . I called G&H landscaping the Tuesday on the week I was suppose to have "the work done" and asked for a refund. It took several days to get a call back from the staff. The office staff was extremely rude to me . Very poor customer service. They then offered to refund me minus a $50 restocking fee. ( A FEE EVEN THOUGH IT TOOK THEM 3 months to say they were actually coming to trim my hedges?! Then used the excuse I was going to cancel to charge me a fee) After back and forth the office manager finally told me she would send the check out. It took me 3 weeks to get the check! 3 weeks. I asked the manager to send me a copy of the invoice 4 or 5 times to see where it stated a fee would be charged. She never sent it. Extremely poor business practice and customer service. They do not care about their customers.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the G & H Landscaping staff. They did a great job with my landscaping as well as my lawn sprinkler system. The staff were truly professional and nice to deal with. I am very much impressed with their job. I am not worried at all about my grass specially whenever I go out of town. Thanks and keep up the good work!
