This was our third project by Tussey Landscaping and, again, a beautiful job! We had our back porch replaced, extended to our patio and included a fire pit area. The crew worked around and included our Bubbling Rocks, which were installed a few years. Derrick created a great design for us that tied in with our previously installed sidewalks and parking pad. Dan, Miles, and the rest of the crew worked so hard to get the patio done by Christmas, and they did! We had a fire in the pit on Christmas Day! Now, just remains some landscaping in the spring! Thanks, guys! Well done! We love it!

Derek was very helpful with design ideas. Dan and his crew did an outstanding job building multiple retaining walls and placing pavers. High quality work done on time very pleased.

I have used Tussey Landscaping for many years doing projects around my home. I have had new paver sidewalks put in as well as a fire pit , retaining wall, a pond, a new patio and landscaping. Derek always has great ideas and walks me through his vision. Reynold was the leader of this crew and couldn t have been more professional and nicer. They are more expensive than some companies but you get what you pay for and they stand behind their work and products. Highly recommend them.

Everything about our experience was first class. We had a general idea of what we wanted for a backyard patio/hardscape, but no real direction on specifics. Derek was extremely helpful in providing recommendations as to color, materials, vegetation, shapes, overall design, and location in my yard...without those recommendations, our project would look very awkward. Derek literally saved me from myself in the design. Also, there needs to be a HUGE shout-out to Tusseys employees on the job. The workers were friendly, polite, professional, and hard working. The job site was always tidy and organized. And those guys were able to deal with my two (2) nosy dogs throughout the project. Lastly, Tusseys was able to complete my project in only three (3) days. This type of project would have taken most other companies several weeks. Very satisfied.

We have been wanting to expand the area under our porch into a more useable area for the family for a while. From beginning to end, our whole experience with Tussey Landscaping was amazing. Derek designed an awesome layout for our patio/fire pit. He had a completely different idea in mind than we did and we couldnt be happier with his design. Our foreman, Reynold, and his team were super friendly and hard-working. They were able to finish one full day ahead of schedule. Our yard was very tore up (as expected) but they were able to fix it to a point that you would never know anything happened. Since the project happened later in the year, they also promised to make sure the grass was growing as expected next year. The whole experience with Tussey Landscaping was top-notch and very professional. We are super happy with the finished result and definitely recommend them for any landscaping needs! Ben and DJ were personable and professional at all times. They worked hard to complete the project on time with out hassle to us. The entire project especially the new wall looks fantastic. I would not hesitate to use Tussey Mnt Landscaping in the future.

I have witnessed 8 + projects from Tussey 2 with personal involvement. Their hardscape skills are very good. With that said they are Extremely Expensive !!! Tussey softscape skills are less than desirable for the prices they charge. When one observes their softscape work 1-3 years after . Very disappointing !! As far as working with their estimators and workers . If you let them do Exactly what they want / prices they charge they are ok. The estimator we used 3 times (2 jobs completed) was overly confident, borderline arrogant. The crew that performed work were nice enough until I asked a couple questions edging grass/beds , plant selection/overcrowding and light design. The crew became agitated and seemed to be bothered that I would even question their work. The issues that I had concern with are now very apparent 3 years later. We have replaced lighting , tore out plants and the edging was redone by another company to our satisfaction. Again, very disappointing for prices they charge buyer beware. I would only recommend if price is of no concern and you aren t particularly concerned with softscape work. I waited several years to post this review as

Tussey recently completed a patio and sidewalk renewal for us with pavers and edgers. They also added landscaping. It looks amazing! From the design consultation with Derek to Ben, DJ and Jason completing the project, we couldn t be happier. They are all so polite, knowledgeable and efficient. I highly recommend them for any outdoor project. They truly do Build Awesomeness !

We recently had an extensive low voltage lighting, fountainscape/landscape project completed at our new home by Tussey Landscaping. From the moment that Patty answered the phone to the consultation with Derek to the installation with Jeff, Ben, DJ, Andrew, Logan and Jackson I couldn t be happier with the professionalism, friendliness, knowledge,vision and expertise that resulted in an end product that far exceeded our expectations! This staff and crew were by far the best subcontractors we hired for the complete construction process. To conclude I think you should know I owned and operated a mid size landscape design/build company for 41 years so I know a first rate operation when I experience one and that was certainly the case with Tussey Landscaping ~ Drew Tomlinson

We left it to the professionals to design our water scape. The bubbling rocks and large overflowing vases with continuous flow of water give a tranquil feel. The new stone patio, retaining wall and fire pit is an inviting place to sit and relax while watching the water. This is an added addition to our outside cooking pavilion. The plants, Driftwood, bushes, boulders and decorative tree with up lights bring it all together. We love it!!!! Thank you Tussey Mountain landscape! You guys are the best!

From the initial phone contact to the last bit of mulch, everyone at Tussey was amazing. They are very flexible and responsive to changes, ideas, etc. Timeliness and professionalism could not be improved. Each staff member showed care and creativity. As we progress with our landscaping, Tussey will definitely be our only choice.

The process of concept to execution was easy and transformative. It was difficult or me to image what the end product would look like, but I am so pleased with the finished product. My neighbors are happy to. They had a vision I could not see and the foreman of the project is an artist and professional. Everything looks great.

When we needed an experts help in our landscape, we called Tussey Landscape. Why? Well, first I ve seen many jobs they ve done locally and was quite impressed. When we called Eric Harteis to give us a bid, we were scheduled promptly. Upon review of our drainage issue in our yard, he came up with an excellent idea to drain the excess water that has been plaguing us from the excessive rains we have received in the area. Eric was thoroughly explanatory in how the project would be completed. We accepted his bid and the work was accomplished this past week. A stone wall was removed along with existing trees and an old sewer line. A new beautiful stone wall was constructed and a new sewer line replaced the old. The work is professional an was done in a timely manner.

I recently had Tussey Landscaping replace some plants in our yard and install a new front step. Their communication throughout the process was great, they started the project on time, and promptly corrected a small glitch in the step installment without questioning, The plant selection was superb (I am a retired plant biologist and very picky about the plant they use). The staff that came to do the work was efficient and very friendly. Now my yard looks like a park. I am extremely happy with their work.

Brilliant and smart design

We recently had Tussey out to install a custom waterfall feature as well as a paver patio and landscaping. We are thrilled with our project. We have a pretty significant slope in our backyard which was a downside to the property before, but Tussey was able to turn it into a masterpiece. They are truly landscape artists and the results are gorgeous. All the gentlemen working on our project from the initial planning to the project install were very friendly and polite and even the owner came to work on the project with the team. All around impressed!

Best place in our area for everything outside!

The pond with waterfall that Weston and his team installed was beyond our expectations! They created a beautiful water feature, including landscaping and lights in less than 8 hours. He was very professional and kept us up to date on the progress throughout the install. He takes great pride in his work and we would highly recommend him to anyone!!

When we decided to go with Tussey Landscaping to redo our backyard, it was because we knew they would do an excellent job. And boy, have they ever! Derek, the designer, was very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He came out and looked around and took our wants, needs, and finances into consideration in order to come up with multiple designs for us to choose from. His designs really wowed us. Every member of the crew was mannerly, and it was a pleasure to have them there working. They kept things as neat and orderly as possible, worked hard, and used their time wisely. Matt, who led the crew, went above and beyond and always made sure things were done the right way, even if that meant tweaking the plans a little.
