Hollandia did a great job with my landscaping project. Scott was exceptionally responsive. They produced a great design. They performed the work promptly and their workmanship was exceptional.

We had them put a stone tile patio out back. We were sold on having concrete-like grout and less maintenance. The grout comes out easily and there are already ant hills in the grout lines less than one year later. There are some lines with no grout at all. We have been told they would fix the problem but it has been about 6 months and they only came out for 10 minutes to blow off the patio so far with no return call to us to explain why. The planning process and installation were good but we are not very happy with the finished product and lack of communication.

Had new pavers installed, full lawn edging and landscape design, mulch, etc. hollandia went above and beyond my expectations. Kudos to Lauren who coordinated and designed the project. Communication and follow up was outstanding. Juan and Roberto handled the paver work and landscaping with the utmost professionalism, communication and attention to detail. I can t speak highly enough for this team and company. I will for sure continue to use their services and advise others of their outstanding work. Great Service

I have given Hollandia an entire year to redeem themselves. Unfortunately, if you didnt spend millions of dollars to have your mansion done, they dont finish jobs or even return phone calls. We had to pay another company to come and redo our entire lawn...costing us a fortune. I have NOTHING good to say about them...

Hollandia is so great to work with! We ve been using them for the last 5 years, from patios, rock walls, lawn maintenance and their help with landscape designs, we have been so impressed.

Because of their impressive website, we selected Hollandia to provide a proposal for our new home landscaping project. Lauren met us on site and discussed material options and solutions for installing a lawn, placing beds throughout, and constructing retaining walls. She prepared a very thorough and detailed presentation in 3D, along with a quote for our project. While we ultimately awarded our project to another firm, we were very impressed with Lauren s professionalism and attention to detail. She listened to our needs and showcased our home in her presentation from all angles with the materials we discussed. Plus, she itemized the cost and installation timelines. We certainly recommend Hollandia for those seeking a higher standard for their landscaping needs and will keep them in mind for future projects.

We initially contacted Hollandia Outdoors on 10/31/22 to ensure we would be one of the first jobs completed come Spring. On 11/8/22, a designer (Lauren) came out to the house, took notes and said shed get back to us with a plan with pics, layout, etc. The designer returned on 11/29/22 with a plan and quote. We reviewed the quote and made adjustments via telephone on 12/16 & 12/27/22 to finalize the job. We did not hear back until workers showed up unannounced on 5/17/23 (5 months later); to bury downspouts and mark perimeter stone beds! Throughout the month of June 2023, it was hit & miss w/no calls and no shows. Still no topsoil, no plants, no hydro seeding! On 6/30/23, Anchor Sprinkler installed our sprinkler system. Unfortunately, they cut the AT&T fiber optic cable to my neighbors home. July 5, 6, and 7 were productive days for Hollandia and our landscaping was complete with the exception of hydro seed. Hydro seeding was done on 7/7/23. It took AT&T 3 weeks AFTER our lawn was hydro seeded to make repairs by digging a trench through our new lawn and under our driveway to the neighbors house. I was a Facility Mgr. at Dow Chemical for years and coordinated multiple jobs and subcontractors on a daily basis and had over 600 clients counting on us to get their job done. I can tell you with certainty that COMMUNICATION is everything!! The lack of communication and job coordination we received from Hollandia Outdoors was terrible to say the least! In summary, it took almost 9 months to complete 7-10 days of actual work. Of course, the bill was sent out immediately with no followup to repair the lawn damages created by the sprinkler installer. I would not recommend this company.

Quality of service is not the best. Numerous bare spots in yard the yard that they hydro seeded.

I had pretty idiosyncratic requirements for my lawn installation, but Hollandia was very accommodating and made the whole process pretty easy. I initially chose Hollandia because Lauren communicated well and always had a response to my questions within the day. The only thing that would have made my experience better would have been to have a more detailed timeline of the planned work, but Lauren continued to be responsive when I reached out to ask when the next stage would take place.

We wanted to put in a pool but struggled to find someone with a cohesive vision for incorporating landscaping, and a master plan until we found Hollandia. They went above and beyond with our backyard! Scott was super professional and gave lots of options, even checking in and working with other contractors to make sure the vision was realized. We get complements from everyone on how well it all turned out, even from the pool builder! I would definitely recommend Hollandia, their professionalism, speed, and quality of work is unmatched.

Hollandia did a great job installing a paver patio for me. Dave Riley came out and provided a quote within a couple of days. Alex, Arturo, Juan, and Roberto worked long days prepping and installing the patio. They finished by grading the yard and planting seed. The patio was completed on time, as promised. This was our first time using Hollandia Landscaping. We needed a fall clean up and have been unhappy with previous times we have tried different companies in the past. Hollandia Landscaping did the most unbelievable job of all the clean up we have ever had! There employees were outstanding, their equipment impressive, oh and lo and behold their final bill was less then we expected and certainly less than other companies we have used before. We will definitely use them for all of our landscaping needs from now on!!!!

Lauren created a 3D contemporary landscape/hardscape design for our new home. The 3D visualization was a great tool and increased our confidence in the design. She is creative, conscientious and professional, and we highly recommend her.

We hired Hollandia to do our landscaping for our new build. We were very excited in the beginning to use their services however it s been a disaster to say the least. Our project had multiple delays, bad communication, and on top of that we are now getting an extra change of $1500. We were at first scheduled for November 2021 but the project was pushed to mid March-April 2022. It s now July and we still don t have grass plants are unevenly place, irrigation pieces laying around (not sure if this was fully completed), tons of weeds regrown on the new top soil we paid for, and hydroseeding yet to be done. Save yourself the headache and use a different company, we wish we did. I ve included the current state of our yard. Our top soil was laid out in May and as you can see it s now July and weed has grown. Due to their poor coordination with their vendors, we still don t know when we will get hydroseeding completed or if they will replace the topsoil and re-grade.

Great work by their team on some landscaping needs we had for our backyard. It was a simple - but labor intensive job that I didnt really want to do. The work was great, and the cleanup afterwards was impeccable. It took a while to get the work started, reached out in May, but the first opening wasnt until August. We were perfectly fine with this and are very happy we choose them to do the work.

Being able to see the design before installation was very helpful. Great follow up on a few small issues. Landscape installation crew is awesome!

Hollandia has been doing our lawn care at St. Patrick-St. Anthonys Church for a while now. They do an awesome job maintaining our landscape/lawn care.

Last September 2021, I hired Hollandia Outdoors landscape design based on the age/longevity of the company- they have been in business at least 25 years here in Holland. I hired them to repair the groundhog damage around the foundation of my house. I met with the landscape designer in person at my house to point out the damage that needed to be repaired. There were at least 3 gaping-open burrow entries that I pointed out one by one, and 3 separate areas of mounded soil & drainage sand where the groundhogs borrowed next to the foundation. The quote that I signed for $1600 (50% up front, balance upon completion) included removal of all the shrubs that were overgrown surrounding the mounds. There was one particular entrance hole that had a shrub in front of it that I hated to remove but in order to repair the hole & collapse the mounded dirt, they had to remove the bush. The job was finally scheduled for late October. They came on the day scheduled. I went outside to assess the work after they left. The mounded dirt, especially the biggest most obvious mound of dirt, and the two biggest holes, one of them being the one behind the shrub (and the shrub itself) were still there. I emailed her to ask if her team would be back to finish because it is clearly not finished per the agreement. I even attached a video. She assured me they were coming back to repair the lawn (reseed where the bobcat tractor left ruts). They returned the next day, a Friday. I took another look after they left. They reseeded & repaired the lawn. But the mounds of dirt were still present as well as the holes and the bush. I recorded another video & sent it to her email address. No response for 2 business days. I finally called instead of trying to communicate via email. I left a voicemail because she was allegedly already gone for the day, on a Monday at 2:30 pm?? I also received the balance due invoice in the mail in the meantime. She replied via email to my voicemail apologizing, promising they would return. She promised she would accompany them to make sure they completed it. Nothing more for another week or two. I emailed her again the following week telling her Im not paying another penny until they complete the job per the agreement. They finally returned after Thanksgiving after the first hard freeze and perfunctorily stomped down (I could see their boot prints) the mounded dirt and tore out the last bush and filled in the last 2 remaining holes by just shoving a little dirt into the entrances. I expected them to dig up the burrows, and collapse them and fill them in, making sure the drainage sand was intact. None of that was done. I was done - tired of explaining what wasnt done/done correctly & sending videos. I just paid the remaining balance & emailed her letting her know how disappointed I was with the work. She never replied back. Never again!

We were extremely happy with the quick and efficient way the installers took care of the erosion problem we were having. Nate is always very professional and respectful to work with.

I have a difficult dune landscape where, each season, many weeds must be cleared and I wont allow round-up or other toxic weed killers to be used. Hollandias staff are willing to do all that weeding by hand and they do a great job. I used to do it myself, but at 81 I cant do it all, so I really depend on Hollandia. Many thanks!

Our experience was before the company was sold and reorganized. We had to continually call to find out when they would provide the services we had signed up for (fall leaf yard cleanup and take away) When they finally did get here their work quality was just OK.

Over the past several months, Hollandia built limestone and boulder seawall at our Lake Michigan lakefront home. The team, headed by Scott Prince, was exceptional. They did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it, at a fair and reasonable cost. Most important: These are people of great honesty and integrity who made us feel like our project was their own. This was a big-ticket expense for us and we were fortunate to find a contractor who was as good as its word. Great quality, great people. Thank you.

Hollandia fixed the patio in my backyard after another company had done a terrible job with it a few years ago. All pavers had to be removed and a new foundation had to be built, before all they could be reinstalled. Based on my communication with Mike and the work of the whole team, I can highly recommend them. They know what they are doing and the result looks beautiful. They also improved the drainage in my back yard which I appreciate every time I step out there after a heavy rain. They were not the cheapest, but they stuck to their quote, do not try to sell more than you need, and their work is well worth the price.
