We recently had to reach out to Island Environments for a save (after another company did a disappointing redo of our yard). My first contact was Maureen via the phone. Let me tell you, Maureen knows that company and what they do. She heard everything I said and made things happen quickly. After the disappointment in our previous choice, we met with Jordan and the owner of Island Environments, Dan. I knew immediately that they were going to be a good fit. They walked my yard without me and all of my issues with the previous job, they pointed out in our first meeting. I knew they heard me AND they did not try to sell me more plants or lighting. Dan actually said let s fix what you have and see how you like it before we add . We signed on with them and they immediately went to work with the reworking of the yard. The work was meticulously done. They called in a tree company to handle some trimming. They have handled everything for us which is such a great relief because this is our secondary home. Finding reliable vendors in the area is a big challenge. When you finally do manage to get one in the door there is about a 50/50 chance you will be ghosted, putting you back to square one. With Island Environments, Im happy to say that everyone from the crews to the admin office have been responsive, helpful, and accommodating with the needs of my companys hotels on the island. They are one of the few vendors that Ive utilized that is a sincere pleasure to deal with, which is important to share given the current workforce climate in the region.

I would give Island Environments a triple 5-star rating if possible. I initially called them when the manufacturers rep for our fountain told me that the fountain could not be fixed. Maureen immediately suggested that she send her team to take a look at it. The team arrived on time and couldnt have been more courteous. They were able to repair the fountain and now we are enjoying the water feature again. I will use Island Environments for all of our outdoor needs in the future.

I had a huge palm root crush both my main water and irrigation lines. They had the house water repaired the day I called and the irrigation within a week. They solved what could have been a nightmare situation into a solid and brief repair. Three other companies wouldn t touch the project due to its difficulty. We have used Island Environments since we built our home in 2001. We had decided to search out a new landscaper about the time Island Environments came under new management. The crew at Island Environments went above and beyond for me. They discovered a water problem at my Hilton Head home while I was in Michigan and contacted me immediately. This had nothing to do with their job, but it enabled me to avoid a huge problem. From the top down, this is a company that cares.

Island Environments helped us through the entire walkway project. David helped with our planning stage and answered every question quickly by email. Leo was in charge of construction giving us ideas we hadnt thought about and making sure we approved of every aspect. All the workers were professional, considerate and exacting. Were very pleased with the outcome.

I recommend to family, friends & neighbors. I first called Island Environments because of the great reviews on Angies List. From the first call to the first meeting to the first service to today they have been extremely professional and my experiences have been very positive (for a lack of a better word). My home in Hilton Head is a second home so I am not always there but when I do come down everything always looks great. I talk to the crew when I come in town and sometimes run into the supervisor when he is on routine inspections; everyone has always been extremely nice, knowledgeable and helpful. I recently did some extra work which is the reason for this review, I normally dont write reviews, but my place looks incredible. Jason did a plan for me and over saw the install while I was at home. When I pulled up to the house I could not believe how incredible the place looked(s). One of my favorite things is the lights they put in; they make the landscape and house glow after dark. I have had multiple homes on Hilton Head over the past 25 years as well as landscapers but Island Environments is the best landscape contractor I have ever experienced on the island or at home! My only regret is I did not start using Island Environments sooner!

Island Environments was recommended by a neighbor. We had them redo our whole yard; they installed landscaping, pavers, lighting and an insect misting system (I cant believe how well the insect misting system works, we have no bugs in our yard and can sit outside without getting eaten alive). Their staff was responsive, knowledgeable and their attention to detail was impressive. They helped us come up with a finish outdoor area that transformed our home. We know spend a lot more time enjoying the outdoors, which is the reason we moved to Hilton Head. We would defiantly recommend them to our friend and neighbors.
