I wish I could rate Alex and his crew 10 stars and not just 5. He came for the estimate in a timely fashion unlike other landscape contractors. He got back to us with an estimate in a matter of days and it was quite reasonable for the work that was to be done unlike other landscape design firms. The work was completed on time in a most neat and professional way. Actually, he did more than what was contracted for with no additional cost. In this age where contractors don t even respond or who come look at the job, tell you they will get back to you and never do, Alex and his crew were absolutely outstanding in every phase of the project. One thing I don t have to worry about in the future is where to find an excellent landscape and turf management firm. I found them! They will be back in the fall to maintain the beautiful work they just completed. Thank you Alex.

Alex and his team are very professional, on time, and neat. They ripped out an old porch and sidewalk and put in an beautiful paver walkway in its place. We couldn t be happier! Very reasonable also!

I called to request them to come to my home and provide an estimate on drainage work. We set an appointment for about a week later, and they never showed up. I left a message that day, but no response. I called back a few days later, they apologized and said someone would come out that same day. Nobody showed up, and again no call. Just a terrible way to do business.

We used Farrah Landscaping for a tree removal in our front yard. From the estimate process to the completion of the work, the company was very professional and timely. All work was completed with no issues and surpassed expectations. Highly recommended.

Alex and his crew installed a natural rock retaining wall in the back of my property that was a somewhat complex situation. They created an attractive and solid solution to an erosion issue that was happening for years. It looks gorgeous, will outlast the building on the property and was done in a very professional manner. He even got a few flowers and pumpkins to spruce up the area that was seeded. I would highly recommend him and his company - could not be happier with the results.

Alex and his team did an excellent job clearly our 100 ft driveway and path leading to our front door after the recent snowstorm that dropped 20 inches. In December of 2020 my wife and I bought a home with a lot of landscaping that was in desperate need of TLC. I was referred to Farah Landscape & Design and, let me tell you, they are amazing. The owner came to my house, walked the property with me, listened to what we wanted and gave ideas. He took pictures and made recommendations that saved us money. On a Saturday there were 5 workers who cleaned and prepared my entire yard. The work they did would have taken me MONTHS. The job foreman was working alongside the crew the entire time and went above and beyond all day. I recommend Alex and his team to anyone!

I was looking for land scraping to be done in my house. I contacted them, they came and gave me an estimation. I wanted this to be done as soon as possible as I have already bought the plants and this is almost mid of November. But after that I have not received any response. They are not responding to my calls or not replying to may mails. They are extremely unprofessional and not responsive. Really a frustrating experience with Farah.

Alex and his team helped us rip out an old, rotted deck and put in a new patio a few months ago. From initial assessment and quotes to consistent communication, regrading, and making sure drainage wouldnt be a concern, Alex did a wonderful job with the project and was extremely professional throughout. They were in and out within a WEEK and we were able to enjoy our new patio shortly after! Alex followed up several times after project completion (especially after a storm the following week) as well to make sure we were happy with how everything turned out and that there were no issues, which we really appreciated. We love our new patio space and cant thank Alex enough!

I met the owner, Alex in 2018 through a referral from my tree removal guy. From our first engagement to the most recent (a few days ago), Alex and his crew has always delivered excellent service with attention to detail. I have a little over half an acre of property with lots of rock landscaping, mulch, bushes, trees bamboo and a pool area. I hire him every year to perform spring cleaning on the property and every job has been executed thoroughly. Thanks to Alex and his crew, every Spring my property looks amazing. He has been responsive and flexible when it comes to my needs and wants. I am planning several bigger projects with him and he has taken the time to listen, discuss and consider what is in my best interest, design and cost wise. I have seen his company grow over the years and he has been as eager to deliver an exceptional experience as the day I met him. Alex will continue be the dude I call for everything landscaping.

As first time homeowners, we got three quotes for our backyard that just had many large trees, brush, and a shed removed. When Alex came out for the quote he was very patient with us and answered all of our questions. We were initially torn between his quote and another quote, so he came back a second time to help us visualize what would happen under the competing quotes. We got great vibes from Alex and his customer service was incredible. Alex graded the yard, put down 55 yards of topsoil, starter fertilizer, and grass seed. Were already looking forward to using them for their lawn treatments and cant wait to work with Alex again in the future when we renovate the landscaping around the house.

He came with Francisco and worked magic with my stoop and walkway. I would recommend him 100%. They also did a beautiful job on the edging of our walkway as well. Absolutely best experience with a Lawn Service we ve had. We come home and without requesting a thing the trees are trimmed, the beds are mulched and the grass look like soft deep green carpet. Full service package a must 5 stars !!!!!

Might be great with customers but guy has no idea how to run a business and treat his employees. You ll constantly see new employees because he hires people sells them a story and then tells them their being moved to part time but never gives a schedule or responds to their calls or texts of when they should come in for work :)

Alex completed a Hardscaping project for us, building a wall, landing, and walkway around and to our semi inground pool. He was meticulous in his work with stunning results. Alex also completed landscaping around our pool area, including working with/around our drainage system-he is incredibly knowledgeable about the plant species and created a beautifully landscaped space. Alex and his crew are punctual, professional, respectful and hard working. They exceeded our expectations with their work.

Had a scheduled appointment for last Saturday at 830am, no one ever showed or called to reschedule. So I thought ok ,it happens. Rescheduled for today at 830am, no one showed or called. Time management and courtesy goes a long way with customers. 1 out 5. Would not recommend.

These guys are amazing! My property was a jungle and it was neglected for years. They cleaned it up so much so that it doesnt even look like my property anymore. I highly recommend them!

I am very disappointed w/ Farah Landscaping. Alex and team are fine when it comes to mowing, edging, etc. But if you want more services or design, they fall short. Work is adequate but over time there were flaws that led to costly repairs. I had to hire 2 contractors to fix drainage issues that Alex neglected. Repairs totaled $3000. That $3000 would not not have been necessary if Alex did the work correctly the first time. And thats not my opinion, thats the opinion of the 2 other contractors I hired who both determined the cause of water damage was due to improper drainage. If you want decent lawn care, you can hire them. If you want professional services, look somewhere else.

Recently purchased a house with some very outdated and neglected landscaping, which was in desperate need of some work. In preparing for the house warming party I contacted the owner and he came out very timely to provide a quote. They supplied me with two quotes, one for the immediate clean up and quick freshening for the party and they other for more of an extensive job and reworking of the outdated landscaping. The clean up and quick transformation turned out awesome and was more than i expected. I will absolutely be calling them out in the spring to complete the second quote and finish the overhaul. I would highly recommend this owner and the company.
