Nobody showed up at the appointment time. We think someone came out hours later, but didnt talk to us (we were both home), didnt address the issue. Called in, the person at the office had no idea what was going on, didnt know what to tell us.

The manager occasionally comes by to assure we are satisfied with LLS services. Salvador is great. He patiently walked us through the programming of our new controller and helped us try to connect the controller to our mobile devices. Unfortunately, we were not able to make the connection.

The only disappointment with our current service was the cost of parts associated with our sprinkler repair. We were charged $74 a piece for rainbird valves that I found at the retail store for $22. Not sure why they marked up the cost so much.

Salvador is our main technician and more familiar with our system, from the time of updating it. Juan recently helped fix a leak in the sprinkler system after recommending American Leak Detection of Portland to identify exact location/ depth. Both technicians are very professional, polite and knowledgeable. Lewis Landscape always do their best to schedule us in, particularly during what must be a busy time of year, so we are grateful for that.

I had a disappointing experience with the service provided. The technicians took 2 hours to locate a control valve, even searching in unreasonable areas. This raised doubts about their professionalism. In the end, the valve turned out to be near the main water valve, covered by just a thin layer of soil. To my surprise, my control valve wasnt even broken; they had simply turned off a manual control valve. I ended up paying for 2.5 hours of service for something as simple as a valve shutoff. Additionally, they addressed minor irrigation head issues without discussing it with me first. Overall, Im very dissatisfied with the service I received.

We are so happy with Donald and his team who just finished our front yard makeover. The crew was so professional, and Donalds design and vision for what was possible in our empty yard exceeded our expectations. We love our new, beautiful yard!

Lewis Landscape Services did an outstanding job constructing steps down the steep slope beside our house. The steps needed to follow a path that curved between retaining walls which added complexity to the project. Everyone I dealt with was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The crew worked very hard and knew what they were doing. The steps turned out great and included all the specifics I had requested.

Not an easy project, but Donald, our estimator and project lead, gave us confidence in how they would approach the job. Donald was helpful and responsive. He timed the project to work with our schedule, and he was on site to check on the progress, and to make sure we were satisfied. The crew did a great job and the results were outstanding. Called for an estimate to repair a leak in the irrigation system. The lady was very rude and unhelpful during questions regarding pricing. Needless to say, I did not use their service.

I contacted Lewis Landscape Service to provide an estimate on a job that would reconstruct some hardscape that was disrupted when a large tree was removed. I also wanted some steps that were poorly designed to be replaced with stone and to level a sunken area of flagstone. My online contact form included pictures of the disturbed area and the steps. Jim Lewis came out at the appointed time, and we went over the project. Jim seemed engaged and understood the scope of the work and said hed have an estimate to me in two or three days. That was on a Friday. When I hadnt heard from Jim, or anyone else from the company, by the following Thursday, I sent an email to the address listed on his business card asking for an update to when I could expect an estimate. When I had no response from Jim, or anyone else from the company, I called the number on the business card on the following Tuesday (11 calendar days since Jim came to my home) and talked to someone who sounded like they were an answering service, but she claimed it was the office and would contact Jim for an update and get right back to me. You guessed it, crickets. Jim gave me a very nice glossy brochure implying a very professional company, but this kind of flaky customer service would make me wonder if it transferred to any services his company does supply. Update: No, Jim, the first email I got from you was after this review was posted. You could find time for a reply to my review within an hour of posting it, but not to my email or phone call which just asked for a status update.

I would highly recommend Lewis Landscape Services. We engaged them to fix a turf issue done by another contractor. They were super fast, very helpful in deciding a new path, and skilled in their work. Our turf looks great and we couldnt be more thankful to them! Well definitely keep them in mind for future landscaping needs.

We had Lewis install new synthetic grass in our front yard. The job looks amazing and the crew and owner were all so great to work with! Highly recommend these guys.

When we hired Lewis Landscaping I knew we were going to get quality work and they met our expectations. Our dry stack wall is lovely. In addition, the crew took great care to keep our mature Japanese maple safe during the building of the wall. I did not expect such attention to detail, but I should have. It is Lewis Landscaping after all.

We hired Lewis Landscape for a project for our backyard. I could tell from day 1 that the project manager responsible for our project (Brad) couldn t care less about it. And the thing that mostly frustrated us was the AWFUL COMMUNICATION. The starting date was postponed several times and that wouldn t have been a problem if only the PM notified us in advance. But every time we were expecting them to come, they would simply not show up. We lost several hours from work PTO that we reserved in order to be present for the start of the project. It was impossible to get the phone number of the person responsible for the project and all communication was handled by email that caused miscommunication and delays. When the project started, Brad came on site for about 10 minutes. We never saw him again. The whole project was NEVER SUPERVISED. Let me say that the crews always worked hard and delivered quality work, but we had no way to ask questions or agree on details, and if I wasn t lucky enough to be able to work from home and check on the progress, the end result would have been much different as several things weren t installed as we agreed/desired. On this point I want to underline one more time how terrible the communication was. The PM would email us saying the crew would come one day, they would not come that day, and instead show up another random day! This is ultimately our private property and we are the ones granting access to it. Since Brad was NEVER ON-SITE we felt like we had to be there to check on what was getting installed where, but often times we were not even aware of workers coming! For example we were lucky enough to be there when the crew started mounting our kitchen. We agreed and were quoted for a kitchen cabinet 4ft long. Sure enough the cabinet that they started installing was longer and noticeably impeded the ease of access to rest of the patio. If I was not there the workers would have kept building the remainder of the kitchen, wasting time, money, etc. We were so discontent with the situation that we decided not to proceed with the planting portion of the project. A company that cares about their clients would try to understand them, but when we said we didn t want to move forward with the remainder of the project, the only comment we got was an ok , without an attempt to understand the reasons. They probably did not need our money, which we are now happy to give to a much better landscaper. In addition, to highlight one more time how careless Brad was, I have to mention that by contract we were supposed to have a final walkthrough before paying the second half of the project. Well we never had one! Brad would not even show up for the completion of work. I know this company has great reviews, and the only very negative one prior to this is from a person who also had the same PM we had maybe not all is to waste. As I said, the workers are awesome and they delivered quality work. However, be aware of which PM gets assigned to your project!

Pleasant worker but being charged $185 + $15 for a fuel surcharge ONLY to be told that I need an electrician is extremely high. I called for the outdoor landscaping guys to add an additional outdoor outlet...If they dont have the expertise to remedy the situation you will get charged the full fee. Buyer beware.

I had such a fabulous experience with the whole crew at Lewis from Day 1. Donald came out to assess the job and I was managing my expectations after another landscaper told us they were unable to do the work. Within a few weeks we had a reasonable quote, and what I liked the most was that Donald really took our situation into account (we had some existing material we were recycling). Scheduling was also reasonable and not too far out! Then Emiliano and Juan came to start the work I knew right away they would knock it out of the park because they looked at the renderings and immediately offered options and discussed all the details. Cleaned up well and left everything looking perfect. Great crew. Prompt, responsive, and did a bang up job. Thank you, Lewis, you guys have my loyalty!

We Needed a valve replacement. I thought it would be a nightmare to find someone. The valve was in a bed surrounded by 30 years of roots. Juan showed up on time got right to work and got it done with minimal damage. He clearly knew what he was doing. Nice job.

WERE SO HAPPY WITH OUR BEAUTIFUL NEW YARD! :) The team at Lewis Landscape performed an amazing transformation from what used to be just a hill of bare dirt and patchy brown grass/weeds when we first bought our home. Now we have a variety of flowering & evergreen plants in terraces up the hillside, with meticulously built rock walls, drip line irrigation, and a timber step path curving up through the middle of it all. They also created a long path around the side of the house with perfectly laid pavers. I just cant get over how much we love the way our project turned out! And of course it adds $$$ future value to our property, but right now were just in love with it. Were so grateful to all the Lewis guys who brought it together for us. Donald the Project Manager was incredibly responsive and helpful, great communication and ideas throughout the whole process (and is also keeping in touch for our additional questions & monitoring the health of the new plants). The on-site crew (Tony, Marcello, and Diego) who were here every day working SO HARD even through the heat wave -- just wow. They were fantastic, professional, and friendly. Tony, the crew Foreman, was happy to answer any questions we had while the work was happening. Really high quality work... and their street/driveway cleanup at the end of the project, the concrete was spotless when they left for the last time. Were Lewis fans now! <3 Highly recommend them! We have used Lewis Landscape in the past for irrigation installation, and landscaping maintenance. When we moved to our new house, we knew we wanted to use this company again. They responded quickly to our request, provided professional work in a timely manner, and worked with our city planning department to organize the necessary permits. The work was completed when they stated, and we are extremely pleased with the results. We highly recommend Lewis Landscape!

My front gate, steps, and walkways were in need of an overhaul. The steps and walkway were old brick - a brittle, moss covered, uneven, slippery hazard! Lewis Landscape did a beautiful job replacing my walkway with pavers, adding in a lovely patio area, and remaking my gate to look better than ever. This was the first time in 7 years I felt it was safe enough to have trick-or-treaters come to my house! Thank you to Brad, Donald, Oscar, and their crew for a wonderful experience from start to finish and for my new gorgeous, and safe, hardscaping.

Michelle came and assessed our yard, supposed to give us a quote. After waited for weeks, I called the company and asked for a quote. Michelle called back and left a message saying that she sent the quote on xxx date. Ok I checked all my email folders, didn t see the quote. I called back and asked for quote again, and left my email address in the message again. No reply, don t see any emails for weeks, again. If you know that your customer has a problem receiving the quote, and if you want business, you should follow up and try calling. Not good customer service.

I hired Lewis Landscaping to install a French drain at a foundation wall. Since the drain was in the front of the house, Lewis Landscaping had a locator company come to the site and search for any utilities that might be contacted while digging. The day before the work, a porta potty was dropped at the site. Not many contractors make the effort to provide toilet facilities for their workers. The coordination by their front office was excellent. I am completely satisfied with the work done by Lewis Landscaping. I will be bringing them back in the spring to do some landscaping work in the back.

Green factory in Bangladesh

From day one until the day Lewis walked off the job site our project was a DISASTER! I will say, after reading this review, if you still decide to choose Lewis, be very wary of the termination for convenience clause in their contract. When things get sideways or don t work, they move to the next task, leaving the previous task unfinished. When they get far enough that they cannot finish, they will send an email and conveniently demobilize. They will then bill you saying they are almost complete only to find out there are a slew of mistakes that become costly, if not impossible, to fix. Before I get too far, I will say the crews they had onsite were hard working and really nice folks. The PM (Brad) doesn t spend more than 5-10 mins on site when he even shows up. It was clear the workers had no idea what the vision was or what the final product was to look like. I had to constantly watch over and even print the design plan for them multiple times to keep things on track. They quoted 26 days to completion. After 4 months they walked away at what they claimed was 85% complete (which was more like 50-60%). We had some poured concrete walls (which Lewis subbed out) but the attention to the details and dimensions created long term headaches. They miscalculated the walls which resulted in our steps and upper patio not aligning or steps protruding above the concrete which was never the intent. A solution was never found. They cut away wall foundations and cut slab stairs to make them fit in other locations which could affect long term structural integrity. The control joints in the walls were installed at an angle as the concrete sub had to revise the design intent because Lewis wouldn t dig the footings per the desire of their sub (they were told they could do it themselves). We requested this entire portion of wall be replaced. They opted to cut a smaller portion as a test knowing we likely wouldn t approve which now looks completely different and the joint is separating. They walked before it was ever fixed properly. The wall finishes are terrible and inconsistent. They failed to remove skim coating which they ultimately tried to chisel and grind away leaving a terrible result on our feature seating walls. Not to mention the tops of the walls are not consistent or level in most spots. These are all things a PM should oversee to make sure the end product is what the owner is looking for. We have a spillway water feature. The opening they provided didn t work with the fountain. The fountain basin wasn t formed deep enough and the water lines through the concrete did not allow the pre-fabricated basin to sit deep enough. And when we turned on the sprinklers the main water connection blew apart from poor installation. There is also no main shutoff for the water without going to my sprinkler main clear across the property. The paver patio they installed looked terrible. Joints do not align (and some of that is on the mfgr tolerances) but the cut lines were horrible which Lewis could control. Pavers and steps are chipped and damaged and multiple pavers had stains do to improper storage of materials. The sprinklers were supposed to be complete but I had to pay another contractor to find and fix plugs/sprinklers that didn t even work. We had a gas line installed for a fire pit. They didn t pull a permit and no one would touch the work as it had not been inspected. I had to do a pressure test myself and negotiate with the inspector to get approval and a permit. To cap it all off, I m sure the owner will respond to this review with nothing but excuses. But he wasn t even willing to discuss when I called and emailed him multiple times as the project was deteriorating. They just continued to work and try to get as much money out of us as they could before they conveniently walked away. And as the owner will say, only negative reviews like this are posted. But only the good projects are highlighted in their portfolio. I would not recommend this company.

We were pleased with the work done by Lewis Landscape Services at our home in Beaverton this past fall. We have been using their company for lawn maintenance and it came time to renovate our landscape and patio. Their team designed and then installed a new back yard for us that has absolutely turned our boring back yard into an outdoor living space that we love spending time in now. They installed a paver patio, a gas powered fire pit, sprinklers, a seating wall around the fire pit, LED outdoor lighting and new plants and trees. We ve only been in the Portland area for a short while now but really enjoy the outdoors, when the weather is good. So being able to enjoy our back yard now is really key to our enjoyment living here. I think I like the landscape lighting the best out of all they did for us. Had them install new lawn sprinklers for our yard last spring. Prior to that I did not have a sprinkler system and it s made a huge difference in the health of our lawn and our plants. Would recommend them for sprinkler installation. I like the weather-controlled unit they set up for me as well. Only thing I would warn people about is that installing an irrigation system is messy. I didn t realize that. But they were quick to clean it up when they finished. We had some trenches in the lawn that took a few weeks for the grass to grow back. But in the end it was all back to like before, except with green lawn now!

I was a bit taken back when this company was recommended to me and when I called, the receptionist totally blew me off. First, she didnt listen. I said I had some projects that needed done for a five-plex, where I live. She said they dont do commercial property.... Okay, its not commercial. Its my home. She then said they dont do my area. Its not even 20 miles away. Someone had called me back and she wouldnt even look up to see who it was or anything about it. Its like she couldnt get off the phone fast enough. It was totally unprofessional. Id still like to know who called and would like to talk to them. Update: The President of the company reached out and let me know that he had a staff meeting to make sure that behavior doesnt happen again, which I greatly appreciate and recommended a landscaper in my area. Thats great customer service and an owner who really cares about potential customers, even if they are unable to help.

After a few projects that Lewis Landscapes Services performed at our home over the last few years I thought I should do a shout out after yet another awesome project they did for us earlier this month. They are so cool to work with, Jim takes so much pride in his crew and their work deserves every star available on this review board. From the detailed project quote to the finished product they walk you through the project explaining all the details, making changes and fine tuning the design until you are satisfied then they follow through showing up with a great team of skilled laborers and do exactly what they said they would do. Been meaning to write this for some time. We were very pleased with the work Lewis did in our back yard. They removed an ugly, unhealthy old lawn and many half-dead shrubs and replaced it with a smaller lawn, bark dust planting areas and a large, beautiful paver patio with seated fire pit. We love it! The work crew was diligent and respectful and we especially appreciated manager Brad Steyskal. He made sure everything was top notch. They will also come back and fix any problems you discover later.

I wrote a negative review over a year ago, but this was due to the actions of one employee. The owner reached out to us and we worked out a compromise for that situation. Based on the positive actions of the owner we decided to use Lewis Landscapes for our landscaping after our remodel. Lewis Landscapes made additions to irrigation, added some plantings, several stone walls, and they installed a very nice stone path. I am now comfortable recommending Lewis Landscapes to others and have done so. Jim Lewis is a honorable business man and stands behind work performed by Lewis Landscapes. Often how businesses react to a problem tells more about a them than when things go smoothly. Jim Lewis stepped up and has earned our business now and in the future.

We have been a customer of Lewis Landscape for several years. We have used the winterization/spring set up program along with having them repair our sprinkler system when needed. For some reason the whole business seems to have changed. I was contacted in the morning to tell me that they would be coming out to do their spring set up program and then later that day received a phone call that they wouldnt be coming out after all. I assumed that they would then be coming out the next day. I called the office and learned that they couldnt come out for over a week. I asked if they could come early in the morning because we were leaving the country and wanted to be there when they came. We were informed that it wasnt possible. When we returned to find a note from Lewis Landscape that there were to many repairs in our drip line to fix that day. I then called to schedule an appointment to have our sprinkler system repaired only to be told that the soonest they could come out would be August 10th. That was not acceptable because we needed the sprinkler system for the summer. I asked that the owner call us to discuss this and never received a call back. I will be interested in seeing what the owner has to say since he has shown that if you give him a review on this site that he doesnt agree with that he writes a response basically blaming the customer.

Based on the recommendation of our friend who also had an extensive backyard project done by Lewis Landscaping, we met with them to bid on and ultimately hired them for a backyard re-do, which had everything from beautiful manor stone retaining walls and low fences, wide stone steps from one level of the yard to the next, a pathway, an echo chamber rock fountain and the install of many native and wildlife friendly plants after a redo of all the flower beds, and a new sod lawn. No small thing! Lewis exceeded our expectations on so many levels. The quality of the workmanship was superb - Juan was a superstar of the manor stone. Donald was the initial contact for the job, who met with us, did the bid, and oversaw the work until his wife had a baby, then Oscar jumped in at the end as another manager, though Donald stayed involved as he could. Both were as responsive and easy to work with as we could have hoped for. The entire team was organized, worked hard, put out top quality work (and were very quick and willing to correct anything that was off) and they were all nice guys to boot, who were pleasant, professional and nice to have around. Nobody sketchy in this group. They were on time for the job, and they actually finished the project right on deadline. If I could give them ten stars I would. Jim Lewis is a consummate professional, who aims to please. We struggled with a house on a slope over a creek for years and finally decided to bite the bullet and have the professionals fix it. It was mud and 6 cottonwoods and a massive oak when we moved in. We also had NO water to our front yard. I had struggled with doubled up hoses for years. He had me talk to his landscape designer, Susie and then brought in the heavy equipment and made massive rock walls and a beautiful stone path down to a blue glass propane fire pit. Finally have irrigation that has auto sensing capabilities. We had to work with that a bit over the last couple years to get it right, and it has caused a few difficulties, but whenever there has been a question I can call on Jim and he is there that day to explain and fix. It may be a bit more expensive than the others but they know what they are doing and back up their work. Have a lawn now that is gorgeous and he gave us extra seed that came in handy when my dog dug up several sections. Maintenance is still necessary and I advise the spring/winter turn off and on.

Donald and his team did a superb job fixing up by backyard. They were timely, professional, and provided high quality work. The entire project went smoothly with the exception minor one delay. However, to make it up they offered haul away piles of tree debris I had left over. This was not a part of our original deal and I greatly appreciated the gesture. I definitely recommend them.

After having a schedule malfunction they worked around and got a crew the next day. The job was done quickly and as of now looks great. This was an artificial turf job that lol really like real grass . So nice for our dog

We contracted with Lewis Landscape Services to build a retaining wall in our front yard, street facing. We were pleased with every step of the way -- from initial meeting and planning to final delivered product. It is gorgeous and well constructed! Don Seymour was our project manager. When he first came out to meet with us and discuss the project, he listened intently to our ideas and offered some great suggestions. He was professional, friendly and maintained great communication throughout the project. The team who came out to build the wall were fantastic. They worked hard and were utmost efficient. When we have another project, well reach out to Lewis Landscape Services.

Terrible irrigation installation quote experience. I have done some amount of research and from that, my preference was to use Hunter products and require swing joints put in. Plus I want the Rachio controller for the system. Lewis only uses Rainbird products . Period. The Project Manager tried to convince me that the Rainbird controller was so easy, that she could log on to my system and troubleshoot problems. There is no way I would allow that level of access. In the end, they didnt even give the me a quote, but referred me to one of their competitors. My neighbors have hired Lewis in the past and have been quite pleased, so I had high expectations. Too bad. ----- Thank you for your response. It is too bad, I did have high hopes. Not to belabor the point, but I specifically asked about swing joints and was told the are not installed that way, only the old school way of the nipple directly in the pipe. Im glad to hear you use them, I could not imagine doing anything differently these days.

I asked for a quote for a landscaping work in my backyard. The initial experience was fine (hence the two stars), but everything flipped when we received the quote. The quote arrived with an astronomical number, so we asked for a revised quote with perhaps cheaper materials and/or reduces scope of work. Never heard back from them since. Very disappointing service and inflated prices.

It was apparent that they were going to correct the efforts of the initial crew on the project. I used Lewis Landscape for some drainage work involving a terraced yard. After contacting three contractors I choose Lewis because of their experience with drainage solutions and dedicated teams who focused on drainage projects. My project consisted of french drain installations, a flow well and two catch basins. At this point I am very pleased with the overall project outcome. Lewis was on the high end for pricing but at the end of the day I felt the most comfortable with them and their project recommendations. Donald was the project coordinator and he did an excellent job explaining the whats and whys about the work involved. He was in communication with me throughout the project. I have one more phase of drainage work and intend on using Lewis again. I can easily recommend them. If you have water drainage issues give them a try.

An employee of this company using a company car thinks it is ok to burn his tires and speed through our neighborhood and laugh at us and denie it to our face.

I purchased a new home in 2013 and unfortunately the back yard was not setup properly and it turned into a muddy marsh. Donald, Salvador, and Geronimo came out and completely replaced my back lawn adding a very good looking french drain around the outside to fix the drainage issue that was killing the lawn. They were very easy to work with and I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

We engaged Lewis Landscape to redo our backyard. They replaced our Concrete patio with a Paverstone patio, built a new retaining wall, laid a new lawn and laid gravel pathways on both sides of the house. Jim Lewis is great to work with. The whole engagement was very straight forward and hassle free. Jim listened to my ideas and proposed a beautiful design. Initial proposal was a little over my budget, but Jim patiently worked with me and adjusted the plan in such a way that I was able to get most of what I wanted and still keep the cost within my budget. Contracted with this company to put in both my front and back yards. Spent a total of $43,000... This morning one of my irrigation pips separated at a joint, making quite a mess. Clearly its as a result of a faulty installation job. When I called to get service, they told me it would be nearly two weeks and that, because I didnt add a special kind of warranty that I was not made aware of, there would be a charge. Ridiculous! Stand by your work folks... The project was done 10 months ago.

Ive used Lewis Landscape Services to do annual irrigation back flow testing, along with sprinkler head and sprinkler valve replacement. Our house has an older irrigation system which was installed by the previous home owners which has required a decent amount of service to get functional again. The Service Tech, Cody, that we have worked with has always been on time, professional, very friendly, and always willing to explain what work needs to be done and why. Highly recommend.

We have had Lewis Landscape complete two large projects in our backyard over the last three years. Both jobs were completed on time and turned out great! The first project was a stone retaining wall. Lewis Landscape graded the yard, removed excess dirt, ensured proper drainage & created the wall. The work teams were professional, extremely nice and always responsive to questions. The second project was a 600 sq ft paver patio with a built in fire pit and wall seating with lights. Again, the project turned out beautifully! We hired Lewis Landscape Services to remove some lawn and add a patio with a masonry fire pit and seat wall to expand our outdoor living space. We interviewed other companies, but chose Lewis because Jim Lewis was direct with his answers, quick to respond to our questions, had a competitive price and included a professional landscape design in the price. We had a general idea of what we wanted, but Jim, along with the landscape designer, Susie, helped us choose materials and refine the design. They were both easy to work with and responsive, and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Neither of them tried to get us to upgrade past what we wanted to spend, but we did get so excited in the planning that we decided to add some landscape lighting and a small rock water bubbler. The project took a week, as promised. One thing needed to be tweaked afterward, and Jim had it taken care of right away. Our new patio is absolutely beautiful! We unconditionally recommend Lewis Landscaping.

Ive used Lewis Landscape for a couple of big projects. We used them to rip out an old patio and put in a new one with pavers. This included some steps, lighting and two semi-circle benches. We love the work that they did. We also had them do a big project recently that included new lighting in the front and the back of our yard, new landscaping front and back and reseeding our existing lawn. Looks great and I am very happy with the results.

Hired Lewis Landscape to create a paver patio in what was originally a large lake front lawn. Considering the challenges involved with the location of this job site, this project went exceptionally well and the end result is just a stunning transformation of the space. I got at least 6 bids on this job and no one fought for it with the persistence and confidence of Brad at Lewis Landscape. He put in a lot of up front hours just figuring out how he would get the large amounts of material into the area (steep hill) and also working with me to keep this project within the budget we had in mind. In the end, his persistence paid off and after talking to several references, I felt confident using Lewis for our outdoor space renovation. I had designed the layout of the patio myself and Brad was very receptive to sticking to my design and then applying his expertise to it on which pavers would best suit the design, what plants to use and where to install the landscape lighting. The crew was very punctual, professional and flat out hard working guys. They finished this job in 11 days and probably would have been done sooner if not for some torrential rainfall we had during that 2 week window. Other companies had quoted 3-4 weeks and in order to keep it at or near budget, they were cutting out things that Lewis was already including in their bid (like lighting or doing the entry steps). Communication with Brad was very easy throughout the job as it was with the crew. All in all, a very pleasant experience with this company and we couldnt be happier with the quality of the work. Their warranty and willingness to return if anything goes awry after they leave is very comforting too. I would definitely use these guys again and/or recommend them to others.

Lewis Landscaping did a full re-landscape of our entire property inclusive of hardscape and a covered patio and their customer service and performance was truly outstanding. They walked us through each and every step of the process to ensure that when completed it exceeded our expectations, which is absolutely did! Lewis Landscape was recommended by our friends. We initially had a visit with another company, and we liked them - or so we thought. When we met with Jim, it was like a complete 180. We were very impressed with his professionalism, response time, and overall presentation. We thought the first guy was informative, but our opinion changed quickly after our first meeting with LLS. Our backyard is small, but their team did a fabulous job in creating a warm environment that we cant wait to host in next summer. Jim was also very quick to respond to any questions, as well as dealing with our HOA (they tried to make it difficult and delay the start of the project, but there was nothing they could argue against in Jims responses). There was a small glitch with our sprinkler system after the project was done, but once we notified Jim, his team was out to fix it right away.

Been a customer for a number of years in the past. After switching landscapers, their services are overvalued when compared to other options around town. They provided no added value to their services when compared to the more economical companies who do the same work for less money with better responsiveness. I would not recommend LL unless people also explored alternates to compare services and value.

We hired Lewis Landscape Services to install irrigation in the Beaverton area. Not only was the work done well, but they maintain a clean work area. The guarantee policy is one of the better ones in the area. Ask them and they can explain. We will definitely call them again.
