The men are the best! They have the best selection of brands and models for lawn equipment. I bought a zero-turn mower from them and I love it. Its easy to use and it cuts the grass perfectly. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They helped me choose the right mower for my lawn and they showed me how to operate it. They also offered me a great deal on the price and the warranty.

Hilliard Lawn & Garden have the best service for snowthrowers. I have one that I bought from them a few years ago and it works great. However, last winter, it stopped working after a heavy snowfall. They came to my house the same day when I contacted. They fixed my snow-thrower in no time and they didnt charge me anything. They said it was covered by the warranty. I was so impressed by their honesty and generosity.

I had a problem with my walk-behind mower it kept stalling mid-use. Thankfully, I brought it over to this company and their technicians found a faulty spark plug and replaced it while cleaning the carburetor. The difference is night and day!

Hilliard Lawn & Garden is awesome! They saved my day when my backpack leaf blower broke down. I had a big yard to clean and I didnt have time to waste. Fixed zero turn when promised reasonably priced repair ....friendly

Took my toro timecutter 42 in because it wouldnt stay running. After fixing a few problems it seemed fine. Unfortunately the problem wasnt fixed. When I returned with the same issue a week later on Saturday they didnt have any mechanics in til Tuesday holiday weekend. They then gave me a loaner for FREE so I could get my yards mowed. Thats fantastic customer service

We needed a very old model riding lawn mower serviced, for my 97 year old dad. We used the pick up and delivery service, which was a huge help. The service was thorough. They took care of a few basics, such as emptying and cleaning the fuel tank to clear out dirt. Changed the filters and replaced the fuel selenoid, along with new spark plugs. The owner Sonny has no interest in customer point of view. When questioned about a nine dollar fuel replacement charge Sonny s response was, it s only nine dollars . If you want your perspective as a customer to be considered do not go to Hilliard lawn and garden.

I only dealt with their parts department, with that said i Went in for parts for an old mower and they didnt have it said they could order it but I needed it right away, they looked up my part and found 3 places that had it and I was able to get my mower fixed thank you guys for going the extra mile while not even making a sale

They seem to have a great selection of toro parts in stock and were very patient and showed me all the parts so I could figure out what parts i really needed. the salseman even printed the parts schematic along with the corresponding parts page with all the part numbers. Prices seemed to be reasonable maybe a few dollars more than what I would have spent on amazon but the help and technical support was worth it. Besides I would rather support a a local business whenever possible.

Shopping for a new mower was more difficult than I imagined until I met Sonny at Hilliard Lawn & Garden. I went around to many shops in NE Columbus each one leaving my anxious and uninformed on my large purchase. Hilliard Lawn & Garden gave me the opposite experience: informative, honest, thorough, thoughtful, and prompt service. I didnt want to just buy a mower, I wanted to begin a relationship with a local dealer for many years to come. I think I found it here with Sonny and his company, time will tell!

This place is an absolute joke. They don t know anything and they re not willing to help you, even though they have the proper tools to help you. Hell last time I called, they said they had never heard of Mahindra. That should tell all. Even called to verify what they have and it s not the right thing. Edit: has nothing to do with mclane parts . You have an 11 blade that you could have easily cut/grind down to 9 but wouldn t. Bet y all sharpen mower blades though, huh? No different, so don t say you don t have the tools say we are to lazy for the dollar. Heck that s fine, I ll just stop with brick and motor lawn stores and buy everything off AMAZON!

I had sonny as my salesman, I was purchasing a used mower for my new home. Ive never owned a riding mower he didnt hesitate to show me how to use and operate it. Apon agreeing to sale and loading it on the trailer for me sonny noticed the deck wasnt right and said he wouldnt let me leave like that. Took it right back off and had them fix it for me, for free! He even bought me and my 2 younger sons lunch while we waited for it to be finished. I had a great experience here and dealing with sonny. I would recommend this place to anyone.

TLDR/BLUF: Dont special order. Sourcing a throttle cable for a really old Stihl (almost 50 yo). He didnt believe my model number and after clarifying multiple times, he finally ordered a part and charged me. Part came and was wrong. Instead of refunding it, he argued that he wouldnt be able to resell and that I should try to jerry rig it and he would refund if it didnt work. Hours of effort later, I return to the find the same guy who now says its all beat up and he wont take it. Attempts to reason are unsuccessful so I leave and call management who explains special orders have a no refund policy so it was $12 well spent to learn how they deal with their own mistakes.

Hilliard Lawn and Garden were able to fix/service my Toro 30 TimeMaster after multiple attempts at another locally well known service center failed repeatedly. I highly recommend them for their expertise, skill, and professionalism.

Took my mower in for a full tune up/servicing with a practically new break cable. When I picked it up, the break cable was broke. They said it was not their fault and charged me for a new break cable. It was a sales associate that tried to start the mower when it was discovered the break cable was broke, not me.

I stopped in to get a vacuum attachment for my leaf blower, showed them a picture of the model number, they sold me a part, which turned out to be the wrong part! The second trip to get the correct part was successful, but the customer service was absolutely terrible! They placed the blame on me for the mix up of the parts.

Terrible experience. I do not recommend this company. They returned my lawn mower uncleaned, dull blade with nicks still in the blade. The lawn mower is impossible to move now (they messed up the self-propelling). Then, when I asked them to make it right, they came and said they will do nothing and drove away. Waste of money, go somewhere else. At most, they provided maybe $30 worth of service. Buyer beware.

very Unprofessional bought a $7200 mower from them they charge $100 to put fluid in it I picked it up no gas at all I cut 1 yard and bolts fell out of my mower I will never be back to this place again worst lawn care company out there the owner was very rude when discussing this matter you will never get my business again OLD MAN !!!!!!!!!

I recently purchased a BR800C-E and a FS131R from here. Every time I go in, I m greeted and asked what they can help me with. I have been shopping for both the blower and trimmer for a few months in different stores and at the other Stihl dealers, they were not as polite or as helpful as the sales staff at Hilliard Lawn and Garden. I took advantage of the Lawn Mower Winterize tune-up special last year, which I have in the past, which is a good deal. This spring I got out my mower for the first lawn cutting of the spring, and my mower locked up in about 2 min. Unfortunately, new oil wasnt put into my mower as part of the winter tune up plan. I brought my mower back into the shop and Sonny told me that they would fix the engine and if couldnt be fixed would replace my mower. Sonny called the next day, and deemed it didnt make sense to fix my old mower because of the cost and to come in and he would give me a new one. I went into the shop and Sonny was true to his word and gave me a new mower (better than my old one!!) for free. However, the story isnt yet over. I brought the new mower home and wasnt able to start it. Unfortunately, part of the starter cable on the new mower had broken. So, Sonny gave me yet another new mower instead of trying to fix the broken cable on the starter. So, Im thrilled that Hilliard Lawn & Garden treated me very fairly and made me whole with a new mower after accidently breaking my old one.

Way to high on parts must be a Democrat or maybe they got to make up for tere commercials

8/8/21 When I read reviews, good or bad, I often wonder if they are genuine. Here is mine Called HLG to ask about having my 20+ yo riding mower diagnosed - no start but turns over if I crossed the solenoid connections, always garaged, always taken care of. Was told they charge $50 diagnostic fee. Fair enough. I am handy, but not a mower repair guy, so let the pros figure it out and took the mower in while we were on vacation. Received word from HLG repair technician a few days after we got back that it was the starter solenoid - and a loose safety switch. HLG wanted an additional $180+ to finish the repair. I said no thanks and I would be in to pick it up. Twenty minutes later, I received another phone call from the older man who has worked there for 20+ years (I have been a customer since I can remember - saw chains sharpened and mower parts mostly). He was very blunt and told me that he had heard I wouldn t approve the repair and asked if I had a receipt bc he had no record of me paying anything for the diagnosis . He also told me that he would never service me again. I was pretty shocked and not that quick on the return - also not my nature - so I said I d look for my receipt and be in to pick it up. I found my receipt which was clearly charged as a Diagnostic Fee and went to pick up my mower. Long story short - the older man I always new as the owner was outside when I picked up the mower. He looked at my receipt and me and said not a word the whole 10 mins I was with him, then while we were pushing it out to my truck he snarled that this old thing is not worth fixing . Interesting. I got home to find that the wiring harness had been disassembled and unraveled into a mess and not put back where ever it was located previously. It s too bad that it wasn t just a bad day for him. Filled with angst to the end. He doesn t need to worry about me bringing anything into HLG bc there are still plenty of other places to get service that doesn t unfold like this. Who knows where this may end up for some unsuspecting customer in the future. It s just my experience but don t say you weren t warned if you are reading this. I guess the HLG repair policy is: You pay whatever we tell you to pay, never mind a diagnostic fee or if it s worth fixing . My condolences to the staff and any family that has to put up with his demeanor daily. Grade: F

It Stihl runs great. Two more larger and larger saws over the years all still running great and all professionally serviced at HLG. I don t abuse them ever but I do USE THEM extensively. I ve experienced them same quality service and products with my leaf blower, string trimmer, concrete saw, hedge trimmer, pole trimmer and many other tools n supplies from HLG. Horrific experience. Treated abusively by Sonny (the owner). Over charged (over $400), to repair a chainsaw that was obviously never taken apart, still sawdust on the air filter and under the clutch cover. A disgrace the the lawn and garden equipment industry. Any responsible product line should remove their support of this shop! Run away! I love giving positive reviews, but my experience with Hilliard Lawn and Garden was so bad the whole world needs to know. Beware! Stay away! Response to your Reply: It was before your remodel.. It was a long time ago but was such a horrible experience, it is impossible to forget. It might have been under my company name Trappers Tree Service. When I tried to bring it to Sonnys attention, he yelled at me to get the fxxx out.... Ive driven to to opposite side of the city to have service done well... and although I admit it is somewhat difficult to find a competent mechanic, I have never again in my life been treated as poorly as I was by Sonny.. and in a way I would even describe as unprovoked. I cant imagine even working there.... but you guys will never get my money again.

Love this place. Good staff. Knowledgeable and friendly. If you have questions they can provide a good answer or find the answer quickly. Great selection of mowers, riding mowers, trimmers, etc. Everything from large commercial projects to just good old yard maintenance they have the equipment you need. They were able to fix my push mower in 3 days and even hosed it down. If you need to get a tool, repair, or advice I would suggest this place. Prices seem competitive (i did not shop around much just compared online), but got a push mower with self propelled option for around $140. I would recommend this place to anyone doing yardwork or landscaping.

After visiting a few dealers I stopped in at Hilliard Lawn & Garden and had the pleasure of dealing with the owner. After my visit I have nothing but greats things to say about him and the store. As a customer I will definitely be back!

All of the people complaining about the crotchety old man that owns the place clearly were just rude and received the treatment they deserved. I went in on Memorial Day hoping to pick up one part. They were not open but the owner was in the parking lot waiting on a friend to go golfing. In his golf clothes, clubs in hand he asked me if he could help me. He took the time to go in and look and see if they had the part I needed. He did not need to do this at all he could have told me to leave they were closed. This is a level of customer service that I would never expect and definitely shows that he will go above and beyond. This one act just created a customer for life and I will definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Wish I could give a 0 star rating. Was told 2-5 days. Called them after a week and they said it was done. I drive over and they proceed to tell me it was was not complete because a part had not come in. No sorry, our bad or anything like that. All in all, 2 weeks for a bunch of frustration. Buyer beware.

Purchased my first chainsaw today they took the time to gas and oil my new saw showed me how to adjust the chain properly and then took me outside to show me how to start it attention to customer satisfaction is number one will recommend this place anyone looking for lawn equipment.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! The only reason why I gave it a one star, theres no zero. Im starting a lawn care service, and was looking to buy a zero turn mower. No one came out to greet me. UPS truck was leaving and one of the workers came out, but no greeting. Thats one way I see if Im going to pay thousands of dollars for lawn equipment. Im from Delaware, so I wont be by their, no time soon.

Great service on my 18 year old mantis tiller and ample time and demonstrations on new purchases. Look forward to adding more in future. Love the convenience of user friendly computer on premises to add warranties immediately.

If you are a Homeowner I would Consider shopping elsewhere. They will NOT Warranty new equipment. It was a VERY BAD experience with the Old man. He is Loud, Abrasive and demeaning! Blames Everything on someone you.

I received a flier in the mail for tune up on several different machines with pick up and delivery. I have a snow blower I was sure was going to need a new carburetor, plus other work done. Hilliard Lawn and Garden rebuilt the carburetor, saved me money and delivered my machine back in less than a week. Total cost was $121.97. The machine looks brand new, fires right up. Highly recommend

Worst customer experience ever. Ive never had a store treat me like that. They literally pushed my mower out and closed the door behind it without saying anything to me.

Full service lawn and garden equipment store with a full service department and parts operation. They have both residential and commercial equipment. Pricing is similar to what you might pay at the big box store, but with a knowledgeable sales staff and a personalized approach. The Owner has over 40 years of experience and he is involved in the day to day operations. The parts team knows their products and it helps to get the right original equipment parts the first time!

Find another place to go. I was going to leave a scathing diatribe about the most recent example of poor customer service. But the reality is I have had a history of poor service from this place. After an expensive tune up where I had extras done, the mower was returned with a leak in the gas tank from not seating the gas line. This caused gas to leak out in our garage. And the new battery I had them put in did not last even a full summer before I had to jump it. My mower actually ran better before they did a tune-up. In response to the owner: Your comment is either based on poor notes by your staff or exaggeration on your part. But it does further show the poor service that has been come to be expected from your business by all of the 1 star reviews. Instead of trying to understand and fix the problem, you have deflected and blamed your customers on a consistent basis as repeatedly mentioned in your reviews.

Had my mower tuned up there. Havent tried it yet but all seems good. Professional atmosphere. Nice selection of riding and walk behind mowers and power tools.

I have been relying on Hilliard Lawn and Garden for years and continue to go to them because of their superior products and top notch service. Recently, my nearly 30 year old Stihl chainsaw has been acting up (I hate to admit its on its last legs). Weve been working it hard clearing some land and its been struggling. Ive had to call 3 or 4 times over the past couple of weeks for help. Each time theyve told me to come on in and got it working within a matter of minutes. To top it off, they refuse to charge me (despite my insistence). They even took the time to write down instructions on things to try when its having trouble. Ive been taking my mowers, line trimmers, rototillers, etc. to them for years. Theyve consistently done things right the first time. The one time I had to go back, they made it right without a fuss. And they do all of this with patience and a smile, which is why I dont go anywhere else. Im going to buy a replacement chainsaw in the next couple of weeks and it will be a Stihl from HL&G. JM

Checked out HLG after my dad had good luck buying a mower. After stopping in and talking with Josh I realized why my dad had sent me. Josh was knowledgeable and walked me through step by step to getting my new mower, dude made the process painless. I highly recommend that if you re in the market look at HLG first!

They will not support their products/honor the factory warranty on products they sell. Avoid this place and avoid Stihl products. I will never buy from this store again.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff on all shorts of lawn equipment! Great location for repairs and ordering parts. They sell Stihl 2-cycle and some newer battery powered mowers, trimmers and chainsaws.

I took a lawn mower blade into them that honestly looked like it was on its last leg. They were friendly , professional and within 10 minutes I was holding what looked like a new blade and for only $10. Glad to have a great place like this so close.

My wife and I purchased a exmark E Series today from Hilliard Lawn and Garden. We were extremely impressed and satisfied with our sales associate Josh. We found Josh very kind and knowledgeable about the products they sold and was humored by the owner Sonny we were treated like royalty. Jamie and I are very excited to become a part of the Hilliards lawn and garden family. In closing to whom all read my reviews please do not pay attention to Marry Strawser review regarding Josh and Sunny They both go above and beyond to assist you.Her negative remarks about Josh and Sony are totally not true.

Ordered parts online and there was no indication they were not on the shelf,but had to be ordered. Received an email late the following morning,almost noon the part would be in the following Monday. Weekend wasted waiting. Told it would be in 11-1 that Monday, no call whatsoever. They called at 10:15 am Tuesday saying the part was in, which tells me it was in on Monday but they were too lazy or incompetent to call. More wasted time. PEOPLE NEED PARTS THEY ORDER, GET IT? Its unfortunate they dont seem to care. Get your parts online somewhere else and save your valuable time, dont get them from these apathetic fools.

This company does not understand what customer service is or what it means. I filed a complaint against them with the BBB and it is apparent they know that regardless of how much you are dissatisfied with the service, the BBB will eventually close the claim. Find anotber provider for your lawncare needs. A company that really appreciates its customers, because this one does not. They dont deserve 1 star.

Update. Clearly owner cares very little for customer satisfaction sadly. Completely misrepresented themselves in their response .. I see more negative reviews for Hilliard Lawn and garden since mine and IM NOT surprised Josh from Hilliard Lawn and garden called and left a message after my review and we returned the call AND he says he didnt call? OK BUT YOU LEFT A VOICEMAIL And actually still unapologetic, despite his response to my review and unhelpful. He said thats toro We need to talk to and Toro only gives 90 days on batteries and actually, Josh thank you for disclosing gender not certain why that was necessary. ?

Once again received prompt service and they had what I needed as well as the answers to any question I have. Been a customer for years and wouldnt go anywhere else. Their attention to detail is top notch.

I was in Hilliard Lawn and Garden today with my husband and I just have to say how helpful and nice the staff was. We needed parts for a carborator and a saw, we had two different staff helping get the correct parts. Such a great friendly group of people! I recommend them to anyone.

I walked in as a homeowner needing help with oil pouring out of my chainsaw! They treated me as if I was one of their largest customers! The service was beyond any service I have seen in years. The knowledge they have and shared was amazing. I would recommend anyone to Hilliard lawn and garden. If you are a DIYer or a multi million dollar operation! Truly great service!

How nice to have found an independent local dealer for real lawn and garden equipment. Didnt have to go to a big box orange, blue, or in this town green store, but instead to a place where they sell products that they know and that they stand behind. I was looking to buy a new zero turn mower, and after seeing what the big box stores carried, and having a very negative experience at the big green stores (no phone calls even returned after I left messages about a potential trade), found HL&G on the internet. Went with my wife and young son to see our options, and after Sonny (who we later learned was the owner) spent more than two hours with us discussing our needs and letting us test out different mowers, figured out which fit both our home and our budget. It was a no pressure whatsoever experience! Just cut our lawn with our new mower, and as promised also cut my mowing time by over an hour. Couldnt be more pleased with the buying decision that Sonny helped guide us through. If you are in the market for new lawn and garden equipment, you owe it to yourself (and your wallet) to go to HL&G and see what real customer service looks like!

We purchased a zero turn and now a push mower. Could not be happier with the knowledge provided and better yet the service years later. Took our zero turn in for repair and they treated us like family and had it done quickly. Very knowledgeable on the products. Sonny is awesome and has always been attentive and greets us every time we come in. Small town feel and great products. A company that stands behind what they sell.

Do not spend your money here

I have to admit this is the first time Ive had someone call about a review I wrote and I am quite impressed. Originally I was very put off by the owner of Hilliard Lawn & Garden when my husband and I went in to buy a zero turn mower. I felt he was rude and condescending to us. My husband received a phone call just now from the owner saying he was sorry that I felt that way, he was having a bad day and hed do anything to make it up to me. I think the apology says it all!!! I really admire the fact that he owned it. EVERYONE has a bad day now and then and I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy day.

Hilliard Lawn and Garden (HL&G) is the premier business for all small engine machinery in the Hilliard/West Columbus area. I have been a customer of theirs for over two decades and purchased everything from chainsaw blades to mower engines and have my lawn equipment serviced by their experienced crew. If you are questioning going to HL&G for a purchase please understand it has stood the test of time in an economic community which has seen many businesses come and go (Kmart, Sears Hardware, 9 pizza places, 4 gas stations etc) within those two+ decades I mentioned earlier. If you purchase from HL&G you will talk with a staff that knows their equipment and what you will need to get your job done better than the kid in paint at the orange or blue store who just so happens to be helping you buy a mower, and HL&G will be there to service said item if it breaks. I, like so many other posters, have been in the store when a customer is treated rudely. I have also seen it coming when they treat the staff similarly beforehand. Sonny owns a small business in which several employees base their livelihood upon and he doesnt mince words when dealing with problem customers. If you have ever been in a retail establishment and wondered why the employee doesnt just tell that customer what everyone is thinking it is because they cant due to political correctness and the all mighty dollar at all costs. HL&G treats loyal customers loyally with respect and great service. If you go there quite full of yourself, prepare to get emptied like a mower bag. If you go there like a future loyal customer, prepare to experience a business where loyalty matters more than the money youll spend.

Been using Hilliard Lawn & Garden for 14 years, used a place in Powell before and was always overcharged and felt like I should not be wasting their time. Met the owner of Hilliard L&G was impressed with his knowledge of all types of mowers and his prices were good. I have bought a snow blower, chain saw, tractor, mowers, sprayer and anything to do with my lawn. I can not express how good the service has been. A tremendous place for any body that cares about their lawn. Great place, knowledgeable people, all the parts you need, and great service.

They were real square-dealing with me. I needed a lower oil seal replaced on a self-propelled mower. They kept to their estimated labor time. No problems.

Bought a new Sears trimmer that I used 1 time that was rated #1 in consumer reports I was so disappointed that I stopped at Hilliard Lawn and Garden on my way home. I dealt with the owner Sonny. When I asked about a trimmer, he took the time to ask how I would be using the trimmer and explained to me the different options he had to offer. While i was thinking over my options, I observed him helping 2 other customers. I felt he was just as nice to them as he was to me. He was not pushy or grumpy as stated in other reviews. His staff was Very Knowledgeable on many products. They gave me the information in a straight to the point no candy coating way. Maybe this rubs people the wrong way but I want my salesperson to be right to the point in simple easy to understand language. If I want a feel good conversation about lawn equipment I will read the manufacturers reviews. . From 1 small business owner to another I want to thank Sonny for his service to our community.

I wish I had read the reviews before I went Horrible customer service!!! Beware if you go there Crotchety old man Alert!!!! I stood in line for twenty minutes. I asked for a primer bulb for my mower he asked for a part #, which apparently they do not have the technology to look up part #. I asked him if he would show me the few different sizes that they carry so I could pick it out. This guy went off on a tangent that never works I ve seen it a hundred of times he was actually scolding me, and giving himself a coronary at the same time. I am a 45-year-old man that has been a maintenance technician all my life. I rebuild my own car engines and yes, that lawnmower engine as well. I could have drawn the part to the exact specifications if needed. Meantime while he was looking through his farmer s almanac from the 1800 s for a part number I thought about how rude he was and informed him I would go elsewhere. I did go to another place down the road they were very friendly and let me pick out the part I needed the mower is working great now! My recommendation is stay as far away from this place as possible.

Very inconvenient hours force me to drive from Downtown on my lunch hour. Then I get a wrong part. Then I find out I need an upgrade part they will need to order. Then I find out they had the part all along. Then the guy I talked to is at lunch and they cant find the part. Then I am given short responses from the man at the counter.

Took my Lawn-boy mower to Hillard Lawn and Garden, the authorized repair dealer. They never called me when it was done I had to call them, when I got it back they had striped out the bolts that hold the motor to the deck (when changing the belt) making the motor loose and vibrating the whole mower. When I took it back to have it fixed, they told me the motor was wore out and making the piston unbalanced and would never run right again. They then proceeded to tell me the motor would die at anytime. The best part was the next line I heard them say, We have some great mowers to sell you. Dont take your mower there for service, they strip out the bolt holes on mine and then wanted to sell me a new mower.

It is hard to really review their service because they were so rude I wasnt there very long. I came in around closing time and heard them complaining about someone else that just came in around closing time and was leaving. Maybe they were in a hurry to get to the bar or something because they left me just standing there waiting for someone to at least say something. After a minute or so I just walked out. Based on that Ill never go there again. If they are rude like that just walking in the door Id hate to think how they would be once they starting taking your money. There are too many other places that are glad to have customers walk in.

Owner was insulting, intimidating, and got physical, and tried to pick a fight with me My story is a bit long, but a lot happened. Please bear with me. My chainsaw would not start. After tuning up my chainsaw I was still unable to start it, so I went to Hillard Lawn and Garden. I dropped off my Echo chainsaw on July 5th 2013 for service. I told the technician that I could not start the chainsaw and wanted them to fix it so the chainsaw would start. The technician told me a tune-up would cost me $75. I thought this was pricey, but agreed. After receiving a call that my chainsaw was ready, I picked it up on the morning of July 6th 2013. The bill was $107.73, which was much higher than the estimate I got when dropping off the chainsaw, but I paid. Inside the store they had a dog tied up that kept growling at the customers, and the folks at the desk treated me with a cold and dismissive attitude. I took the chainsaw home, tried to start it, and it still would not start. I immediately returned to Hilliard Lawn and Garden. At their service desk I explained the problem. They told me to drop off the saw and they would look at it. I asked them for some additional details. I also asked the service desk why the bill was higher than quoted, and I also asked if they actually test their work after finished. The second I questioned the quality of their work, the owner came over and told me he didn t like my attitude. He started to question me in a condescending tone. I told him I just wanted somebody to try and start my chainsaw. After he raised his voice to me again, I told him I would take my business elsewhere and have the charges removed from my card. Now here is where it gets weird. The owner FOLLOWED me outside and started insulting me. He told me he didn t like my attitude. He asked if I was too poor and white trash to afford the $107.73 bill. He got inches from my face and continued to insult me in his parking lot. He even asked me if I wanted to fight and kept yelling at me to shut up. He also stated that I was probably too stupid to start the chainsaw. I handed him my chainsaw and asked him to start it. He pulled and pulled, fiddled with the choke, but couldn t start the chainsaw either. When I asked for my saw back and reached for it, he put the saw behind his back and SHOULDER-CHECKED me. I looked to my right and saw he had two of his hired goons standing there, looking like they were all ready to jump me. Once he finally handed me back my chainsaw, I left immediately to have the charges taken off of my card.

By far the best Lawn and Garden store I have been to,the customer service was outstanding,very quick and knowledgable with everything I needed.They are not the closest place to me,I just happened to stop in because it was close to a job that I was working on and couldnt wait till I got home that evening,but from here on out,I will make the extra 25-30 minute drive to deal with these guys,I highly recommend them.
