Found landscape design solutions at the Home and Garden show. I enjoyed working with Greg to design my landscape and hardscape. He is very knowledgeable on plants types (I wanted mostly native plants and a prairie look to my landscape); he provided helpful suggestions and answered questions in a timely manner. The thing I appreciated the most was when the projected started we were the only project they were working on. They were on time and worked the entirety of the work day. This means my project finished in a short and reasonable time frame. They completed a composite deck, pergola, stone patio in addition to landscaping. I am extremely happy with my garden and patio. The neighbors rave constantly about my yard and describe it as warm and inviting. Not to mention it brings me joy. Project took less than 4 weeks (I can tell you this is excellent. I had neighbors whose projects were far less intensive than mine and took 2 or more months). Installed August 2022.
Jacob, Charlie, and team were wonderful to work with! We had a very difficult project approval process, and many other companies would not even engage in the project. LDS worked with us every step of the way (over a LONG period of time) to get all the necessary approvals. Jorge and crew were amazing. They were always punctual, friendly, and meticulous. They focused down to smallest detail to ensure we were 100% satisfied. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and would definitely recommend Landscape Design Solutions.
I am very pleased with the work that LDS did at my home. My flower beds and general landscaping needed a serious makeover and Greg, Nathan and the rest of the team delivered. From the well thought out landscape design plan and communication to the planting process, I was very happy with the experience. The team was very courteous throughout. They patiently modified aspects of the plan based on my feedback and ensured that I was completely satisfied with the final product after planting. Landscape Design Solutions was the perfect company to use. Our patio was old and cracks were all over the patio as a result of age and a nearby large tree root that was pushing the concrete up. We met the designer and salesperson (Charles Cartwright) at the Home Show at the convention center, Columbus, Ohio back in January/February, and he then drew up designs for us to look at and when the weather permitted, the work began. This company came in and the crew was very professional and did an out standing job. as they removed the concrete and then added gravel, sand and finally pavers. I HIGHLY recommend Charles to be contacted--I also was impressed by his crew-Thomas, Big Joey, Little Joey, and Phillip. VERY polite, hard working-definite asset to this company. Jacob and the LDS Crew did a great job transforming our backyard into our fam's favorite place to gather, relax and cook! The LDS crew is skilled and really seem to care. Listened to our goals, made great design plans & the installers were professional and timely. They made all the painful stuff (permits, payments, etc) easy and continued excellent service (I text lots of questions, etc) after project was done. Job well done!
They did a beautiful job on my landscape project which consisted of steps going down a sloped area (I have a walkout basement), and off of a deck, a beautiful half-moon landing, walkway, cottage garden and natural fence. They take pride in the job and worked incredibly hard.
We were looking for a landscape master plan design. I started communication with Jacob Basnett at Landscape Design Solutions (one of the owners) in late April and early May to initiate this project. The Owner shared that tree availability was a challenge but hed work with us a little later after the busy early season rush. I checked in with them on June 7 and got the following response I have you on my list, one thing to be aware of is a substantial shortage in trees is really manifesting here in 2021. Next I checked in on Aug 26 and was told You are on my list, I should be able to wrap this up by next week.. When I checked in October, I found the owner to be rude and they indicated that they were not going to produce our product - here is a quote from his email: That being said I wish you well in finding someone who can better serve you and your needs. Obviously, we were very frustrated as this was the first step of delivering appx 12 new trees in the HOA common area for beautification for the subdivision for this and subsequent years. This forces us to scramble around to try to find a replacement at the last minute to deliver on the HOA plan and budget. I would not recommend them. Also noteworthy, the owner claims that he is going to forward this to his attorney if I file any negative reviews and I quote from the owner you will force me to seek legal advice if I see a single review. I hate spending time to share this but I think it is noteworthy for potential future customers to be aware.
Designed, planned and constructed a new patio, pavilion for our home and added a new irrigated lawn! Great to work with. Very knowledgeable and responsive to all concerns and questions. I would highly recommend to all!
The transformed my awful flowerbeds and yard into a beautiful oasis! Paver patio with a built in fire pit and granite bar with refrigerator and grill, beautiful landscaping trees & flowers, paver front porch steps with lighting and walkway..... they were on time, excellent work and fair price. I will continue to use them for ongoing maintenance of my yard.
Worked with Greg in he design/sales team and he was a pleasure to work with. We got 6 quotes in total and Greg stood out by far as he was very knowledgeable with planting and placement. He was very responsive in responding to phone or text. The team was able to complete the job a couple weeks early as the schedule was shifted and the team that did the planting and bed creation was professional and did not leave a mess. Used this company for hardscaping and landscaping. After a delay, the install was quick and professional The end result was perfect and I m extremely pleased. Greg was always available for my 9000 questions during the process and did great follow up after the project.
LDS was a pleasure to work with from initial conception to completion. They built us a beautiful, custom designed large paver patio with a 18x 26 pavilion and 8x4 bar. My friends are astonished when they come over to visit with the overall quality, appearance, and layout / design. It is like having a resort at your home. Due to the scale of the project other trades, permits and HOA were needed. LDS coordinated and managed everything. A true Turn Key project and build. I highly recommend LDS for custom exterior living space and landscaping.
We met at our home with an associate who took notes on the jobs we wanted completed. He said he would come back later to take measurements, but didnt. After not hearing back from them a couple weeks later, we followed up with an email... after almost 5 weeks since we initially met with their designer, still no response. Today, after sending an email stating we intended to leave an online review, we finally got a call back. Too little, too late. Glad we found out before getting half way through a contract.
