Wind storm snapped my 40 foot tree and left it dangling over my power line. From the time I called the tree was removed within 2 hours without a trace of them ever being there. Amazing job and a more than fair price, highly recommend.

He and his crew can take down a huge dead ash and then surgically trim branches in powerlines. He removed the stumps so now the area is ready to be planted. His pricing is very competitive. Chico is truly knowledgeable about trees.

Chicos removed (original post March 2023) a very large cottonwood tree (40 diameter) that was dying and started to drop branches from over 30 feet overhead. Chicos safely cut down this massive threat in a matter of 4 hours. They removed everything and cleaned up all of the debris. The only thing left was a very large mound of mulch where the stump used to be which is testament to their stump grinding machine. Tony is honest and easy to work with. He provided a competitive price and worked with us to get the job done as soon as possible. This is the second time Ive used Chicos. Two years ago, Chicos removed 5 mature oaks and about 25 additional trees of various diameters. Their quality of work is as high as ever. I strongly recommend Chicos for any tree and large landscaping work. Update March 2024: The photo shows the tree location a year later. It is ready for spring seeding. Thanks again, Tony.

Ive worked with Chicos for many years and feel they do excellent work, are very cost effective and easy to work with. I have a large, wooded lot and Chicos has removed diseased trees and stumps and removed large amounts of invasive buckthorn. My husband and I recently bought our home and quickly realized our trees needed some (A LOT) of TLC. An initial estimate from a different company was prohibitively expensive when we had a ton of pressing new home projects. Our landscaper suggested we contact Chicos and we are so happy we did! Within a week of giving us an estimate, a team was here meticulously trimming back our giant cottonwood trees. Not only did they do an incredible job on our trees, they also cleaned up all the debris from our yard and our neighbor s as well. The best part is that their estimate was half of the one we originally got! Tony is great to work with, quick to address any questions or concerns, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Completely unprofessional. Never showed up when they were supposed to. Gave a tentative time for rescheduling then blew that off. Only communicated minimally through text.

Excellent service

I needed a maple cut down that was almost completely dead and had 2 other trees, a very large locust and another maple that I needed to be pruned of deadwood, overgrowth and low branches. I made a few calls for 3 different places and hired an extra consultation with an arborist/ ecologist. Most places generally had the same recommendations except one company tried to oversell pruning another tree that did not need it. I hired Chicos because they seemed to have the least number of middle people involved. That means that you are pretty much hiring the direct contractor and laborers. For this reason they had the best prices and by far! Like I stated this is because Chicos Tree Land is not a labor broker they are the laborers, who you will be directly hiring. They showed up within 1 week with their stump grinder and wood chipper and all professional equipment and hauled off everything that they removed and pruned. They also have wood chips available if you need them. Great service and I highly recommend.

They responded quickly, gave me good advice on what was needed, explained what they would do, and provided a very reasonable estimate. The employees arrived at the scheduled time, were professional, did a great job, and were very friendly. They did a nice job of cleaning up as well. We had 5 very large oak trees in our backyard which blocked out most of the sun and was killing our grass. Now we can finally see the sun and the whole yard looks bright and open. I highly recommend Chico s Tree Land for any tree removal service. They took down two tall (30ft) blue spruce trees in just over an hour. The crew was very professional and quick and was extremely reasonable on rates. Grinded the stumps as well. Cleaned everything up and it looks great.

Chico s is a rare thing these days - professional, organized, excellent communication through the process, and they were VERY reasonable on price. The work (a big job with 5 trees) was done in 2 hours and the crew spent at least 30minutes of that cleaning and raking the site...these guys left my yard immaculately clean. Highly recommend.
