I had searched high and low for a sod installation company to do my backyard in Clarksdale MS but had no luck. One day while performing an internet search I came up on Hatchie Tree Service and saw that they do sod. This must have been my lucky day. It was easy to get an estimate. After accepting the offer, the crew arrived as scheduled. I am so happy that I found this company. My backyard never looked better and I know the sod will grow as Mr. Hatchie left me with all the knowledge needed to take care of the sod. I would recommend this company for future jobs with others and myself. They are the best in the business.

UPDATE: bag worms are dead. All trees are doing great. Will use this business again. I have an issue with bagworms all over my Leland Cypress. It has been eaten almost completely in just 11 days. I was unsuccessful in finding help from a couple other arborist I contacted. I spoke with who I believe is the owner, David on Saturday night. He was here by lunch on Monday. Price was a little higher than I expected but I also have no clue what the going rate for treating trees is. I felt it was a reasonable enough price for treating all 4 of my trees so I went ahead and did it. He was on time and treated the trees immediately. Now I just have to wait and see if my tree comes back to life, would give 4/5 stars just because I haven t seen the result of the treatment yet. If no bagworms return this week then this place deserves 5 stars IMO.

Quality work at a good price. David and his crew were very professional and courteous. In addition to sodding my backyard, they also raised the canopy on a number of our trees and I was very impressed at how careful they were not to damage any of our many hydrangeas. Also did a very good job of cleaning up my yard when they finished up, something I can not say about some other contractors that I have used. David and his team were very prompt and professional. Took down 84 trees on our property and hauled them away. David has extensive knowledge and a distinct ability to know what is going to look good and will help guide you to the best decision possible when it comes to your yard and how its going to look. David and his crew installed a retaining wall, a drainage system behind the retaining wall, sod, plants, and mulch. David kept me updated about everything they were doing as well as sending me pictures until I was able to get back on site. David and his team took down 5 trees that were in some very tight spaces, in between my house, fencing, the neighbor patio and garage. I was totally impressed with the methods he used to ensure the trees came down exactly where they had to go! I would totally recommend this professional team!

Omg..... where do I begin? Contacted David he was very professional and ontime. He drove over 50 miles just to give me a quote and secured the job. I highly recommend him. I live out of town and he was able to take care of all my needs without me having to be directly there. They are AMAZING

From the onset this company was 5 star, from the pricing phase to the cleanup phase. They explained exactly what needed to be done and why. During the job, they cut and cleaned out any dead limbs. Also, if they felt anything additional was needed, not previously discussed, they would advise you beforehand. The prices are most competitive. When completed, they even raked around the tree to insure they picked up any residual limbs and sticks from the yard. They do what they say and arrive when theyre supposed to. I would recommend this company to anyone without reservation. They are the benchmark for what all other contractors should be.

David and crew did an incredible job on our 200 to 300 year old white oak that is the center piece of the property. Hatchie Tree Service used chainsaws like scalpels to cut the diesesed wood out and left a perfect canopy on the majestic old beauty. We were very, very pleased with Hatchie Tree Service. David gave us a fair price, his crew did a very safe, efficient job, and left our yard looking better than it did before they came. They hauled all the green, leafy stuff out to the curb for city pick-up, and took all the big log pieces to the back of our yard (after asking our preference.) Were hoping someone in town will be able to use it to keep warm this winter. Dave even treat our old trees for insects at no extra charge. Were on Davids list for further work in the future. They help out people who are in the most urgent need before they take on higher-paying jobs, and we really respect that attitude.
