TruGreen Weed Control Of Bangor in Hermon

We have used True Green for our property for the last 4 years. The lawn looks great and we will continue to use their services. We look forward to seeing them each year since that means Spring is finally here! All of us like Amanda!

I have reduced my review to 1 star after waiting a few more weeks to see how the "summer lawn" would look and it is still full of weeds and moss. There are still many bare spots as well. Would not recommend! I gave them 3 stars only because they were friendly and punctual. Other than that, whatever they put on our lawn made it worse than it was, especially the last application. It turned our grass brown. We had high hopes for our lush green lawn to come back and no moss but unfortunately, there is still a lot of moss and patchy grass attempting to come up but mostly brown. Very disappointing.

We called TruGreen because our tick problem in our yard was out of control. We have three dogs and were pulling up to 100 per week of the dogs after they were outside. One call to TruGreen and we had a quote within a day or two and they had us treated within a week of that. So far since our tech, Addison came out, we’ve seen a world of difference.

We were very pleased with Amanda and her knowledge of the problems we have . She came when she said she would., gave us a estimate and then did the job!! Very pleased!

I was very impressed with our tech, Amanda. She was very professional and detail oriented. She is very knowledgeable about her job and it shows. So happy that we switched lawn care services. Looking forward to a beautiful lawn and less bugs!

This message is for Sam who treated my yard on 5/5/23. Sam wanted me to leave him a review about subject spray. I can say I have been impressed in years past that the spray has worked. I think I have seen 6 mosquitos in the last 2 years and no ticks or fleas. VR, Pete

I have to edit this because they dropped off after this review. They were supposed to be here in April. After calling multiple times (only actually got to talk to someone twice because they don't return calls from the answering service), they told me they would be at my place the next Friday. Well, next Friday came and went and guess what, they never showed up. Tried to call and got nothing. When I called to cancel once they confirmed my account, they hung up on me. First couple years I prepaid. They then would randomally not show up and let it go multiple weeks between treatments. After prepaying for say 6 they would only show up 5 times. Two years in a row that occurred. Took time but I did finally get refunded for them in the way of a credit for the next year. Last year I stopped prepaying and am glad I did because they kept up the same customer service. Finally smartened up and fired them. Tried to file complaints with TruGree and unfortunately they are a franchise and there is no way to file a complaint on them. Their (TruGreen of Bangor) busines model is clearly to take as much as possible from someone and just focus on customer acquisition instead of customer retention.
