If you are considering a Landscaping Project, you definitely need to give Fernado Villa a call. I Generally do not do reviews. However, Fernado deserves one! In April my wife and I got a referral from my Contractor Craig Leary. We ve waited to see how the Plants looked after a period of time before I wrote this review. I m pleased to say they look great. Fernado fixed the drainage issue we were having. He also had did a Landscape Design which matched the plants according to the amount of sunlight etc. As a testament, we went to Linda s Plants and Shrubs to look at the plants recommended. The Owner ask who was doing the project. When told Fernado Villa, His Quote he s one of the best in Hendersonville Enough Said! His crew was quick, polite and did a Great Job! Thanks Fernando, Jeff

Very unprofessional

We called Fernando to install a paver patio and seating wall in a hard to reach backyard near downtown Hendersonville. He made himself available to meet and look at the project the day we called and we had a proposal later that day and the work was completed within a couple of days. His team showed up to work and after completing the work that he quoted (and then some), they cleaned up behind themselves and the finished product turned out better than we hoped. I will call Villas Landsapes without hesitation for my next project! Top Shelf!

Fernando and his crew turned our new construction house into a beautiful and welcoming home. He was easy to communicate with by phone calls, texting, and in person. He helped us pick out the appropriate plantings that fit our lot and shared why the plantings were important to each area he designed. The work was reasonably priced and done beautifully. There were some extra needs that came up with drainage, falling debris trees, and grading that Fernando was able to complete during the same day. I highly recommend Fernando and his crew. We were so happy he could do our landscaping.

Very prompt service call and a reasonable estimate for everything

Another great job by Fernando and the Villas Landscaping crew. We had some water getting into our basement during the heavy rains. Villas came in and installed some french drains, new underground downspout drain tubes, some grading work, sealed our window wells, and mulched. We have used them in the past to do some hardscaping, including a stone patio and stone retaining wall. Always excellent work, very professional, and they come prepared with everything they will need to do the job. Thanks again Fernando!

We had Fernando and his crew pave 2700 square foot of driveway. These guys were ultimate pros. Came out great and at a much lower cost than anyone else in the area.

We built our home over 10 years ago in the Arden area and Villas Landscaping has been a large part of our landscape work since the beginning... from an irrigation system installation and maintenance, landscape plantings, mulching, to driveway paver regrouting and sealing, to rock installation, to waterfall maintenance.. Fernando has been the go-to person.. I receive a response to my emails promptly and a reasonable time frame and cost is given for the desired work..The crew that arrives is always hard working, adequate in numbers for the task(s) to be completed, and knowledgeable..Even if the work requested requires many days, the job site is always neatly cleaned up and equipment stowed until the crew returns the next day... I highly recommend Villas Landscaping for your consideration.. Our experience suggests that Fernando has always tried his best to deliver his expertise and dedication to his client..

My husband and I had major water drainage issues on our property that Villas Landscaping fixed. They dug a drainage ditch, paved our large steep driveway, and built a very pretty purposeful retaining wall. We were very impressed by the quality and care of their work. Fernando was very professional, experienced and well educated. His crew got our big project done in 3 days! We had a great experience and would highly recommend them.

I had trees and arborvitae s planted with sod laid down around my patio plus they fertilized seeded and aerated the lawn and turned out beautiful they were very professional and thoughtful of the property and I thought reasonable I would highly recommend Fernando and his company to do work

The team at Villas Landscaping did a terrific job for us addressing a water drainage issue that had bothered us for years. The team was professional and exceptionally knowledgeable, completing for a reasonable price the entire project in one day.

Fernando came when he said he would, an important quality to us. We planned a waterfall, an inlarged patio with a firepit and all the landscaping around it. After 5 days the project was complete and it looks fabulous. He went beyond the norm to clean up and make the work area even better than when he came. He is better than any contractor that we have ever worked with.

I am truly impressed. Done in four work days! The workers are great, and do good work. I would look first to Villas Landscaping for any future business, at while I feel is a very fair price.

I cant recommend these guys enough. They upgraded my irrigation system and replaced a crumbling stone walkway. Price was fair, work was excellent, and they return emails and texts promptly. Very happy!

I found that my backflow preventer on my irritation system was leaking over 150 gallons per day. I tried two other firms that I had used before, but they wouldn t return calls. I saw a great review on Villa Landscaping and called Mr. Fernando Villa. He came to my house that afternoon and stopped the leak while he got the parts to repair the backflow preventer. Then we could only two of the three control valves. The end result was that he virtually rebuilt the whole system including a new wi-fi controlled controller. Fernando and his helper were working on the new control valves when it started raining and we had to hold an umbrella over the area so that he could finish the installation. I have recommended him to my neighbors and the community maintenance director. You will great service too!

I was blown away at the professional quality Villa s Landscaping did on the pavers in our backyard. Prompt hardworking crew, clean up was great and very fair on pricing. So pleased!! Job well done

I had expected working with contractors during this time that my experiences would be meh and my costs high. Ive been pleasantly surprised but never moreso than with Fernando Villa and his crew. Hes a nice hard working and skilled guy who has a good crew, does good work, is priced reasonably, and stands behind his work. He successfully graded a gravel driveway to aid with drainage, diverted water going into the homes crawl space with a classy retaining wall and grading, and he layed gutter pipes and redid a foundation drain. All projects grow, but with Fernando everything just seemed to get done smoothly and well. Thanks man.

I called Villas Landscaping for an estimate in July 2020. Said they would come out. No call no show. Decided to give another chance. Called March 2021. Said they would come out. No call no show

Fernando is a pro! He took a very steep slope and built retaining walls and created a beautiful green space for us. He is very knowledgeable and skillful in his craft. His bid was under our budget and no hidden extra costs. We will be using him again.

They came out in a Friday to look at our needs, and said theyd get back to us soon, probably that weekend. That was a couple months ago. No call. No text. Do you really want to spend thousands of dollars and entrust your yard to people either too lazy or too incompetent to call? If youre not interested, say so! Maybe they are fine landscapers - who knows? But clearly zero clue how to run a business or deal with customers. And dont tell me to delete my review because you never worked for us. Thats kind of the point. The same point made by several of your other reviewers.

Low prices but very low quality. Bolder wall they installed is so poorly done we will need to have it rebuilt properly. Took me a week just to clean up the mess they left in my yard, pallets tree branches and misc stones from their trucks just left in the yard. All this after delaying my project by almost two months. Dont do business with them you will regret it.

We are repeat customers of Villa s Landscape Service and are very happy with their work. They capture our vision as well as guide us in materials that may best suit our property. Our project was a long time in the making due to the pandemic and Fernando being so popular. In this instance, patience won out and the old saying it was worth the wait. We had serious water retention issues that were causing damage to our property and home. Our home is a mid-century ranch that had been neglected for a long time so much to do both inside and out as we can. One of our priorities was to make a welcoming area for people and ourselves to gather outside but it was a landscaper/mason nightmare. Fernando immediately made solid creative suggestions to address our issues. We knew that he was the right choice for the job. We are artists but so are Fernando and his crew. We were able to recycle (my favorite part) the old brick back into the design along with the new pavers resulting in a super cool retro look. Did I mention they did this project in two days which is a miracle with brick removal, trenching, laying pipe etc etc. As I write this review, we are having the first waves of heavy rain from the tropical storm and all is draining, fingers crossed. We were concerned since the new paved area has not had time to cure. In fact, how many people would write a review before the job is completed. That is how much we trust Fernando and his crew to finish sealing our new masterpiece. Our project was small compared to other large residential and commercial projects that Villas crew take on. However, I believe they take pride in the work small or large. We have two other projects that we need Villas crew to address once we can budget for it. The difficult part of writing this review is that Fernando becomes even more popular so we are going to get on the schedule asap as his phone rings non-stop. As small business owners we support local and can without hesitation recommend Villas Landscaping.

Only positive thoughts come to mind when I think about our multiple experiences with Villa Landscaping! We have used them for numerous projects over the last 7 years ranging from small maintenance type projects to large scale hardscapes and everything in between. Fernando and his team are extremely knowledgeable and talented and tackle every project with the utmost professionalism. Prior to meeting Fernando, we had contacted numerous landscaping contractors only to be met with outrageous prices, lack of professionalism, and in many cases contractors that never showed up. As a homeowner it is extremely frustrating to have to keep starting over when you are needing a project done! Fernando and his team always showed up when they said they would and maintained constant communication with us throughout our projects. Fernando was always upfront and transparent about his pricing so we didn t have to deal with surprises on our final bill. They always left our property clean after finishing a project. Fernando and his team genuinely care about their clients whether it is a $500 job or a $20,000 job. They show up for every project ready to do their best and work extremely hard to ensure their clients are happy. We recently moved out of the area and have already been in contact with Fernando to take care of some projects at our new home 2 hours away!! Fernando and his team are genuine, hardworking guys that over the years have become friends. These guys are the real deal and do not disappoint! Villas Landscaping did 3 projects for us. French drains, rebuilt a retaining wall, and rebuilt a sidewalk. All work was done with attention to detail! They arrived on time and did fantastic work in a timely manner. I will definitely contact for future projects!

Fernando is so professional and knowledgeable He installed French drains and cleaned our entire property which was overrun with debris and invasive plants. He told me what every plant was and advised which would be good to keep, relocate to better position, or remove. His entire crew worked so hard and got the job done even better than I expected!

Needed someone to snow plow my driveway January 2022. I saw them pass by and called them and they came right after! Plowed my driveway, and shoveled my walkway! Nice guys helping a lady in need! Positive Responsiveness, Professionalism

This guy was a NO SHOW

I called & they pretended to have a bad connection but I could hear them fine. They wanted to call me back in a few minutes but Never did. This is bad customer service & if you are going to run a business, you should get a cell service that works at your location.

Villa s Landscaping are professional, skilled and hard workers. The workers came when they said they would. They didn t stop working on the job until the job was done. The workers didn t stand around either, they worked the whole time they were here. They even worked on Sunday. They did a fantastic job on our retaining wall. Our work area was very tight, but they didn t damage anything. They had very good design ideas. All my neighbors said the wall was nice and looked classy as well as add value to their property. We ve had strangers stop and take pictures of the retaining wall. They cleaned up the job site and left it looking tidy. Villla s Landscaping is easy to work with and we can t say enough about how happy we are with their work. If we have any more work in the future, we would call Villa s Landscaping. We highly recommend Villa s Landscaping for all your outdoor projects.

Villas Landscaping is highly recommended. We purchased an older home with landscaping that had been neglected for several years. We talked to two other landscapers and they just wanted to cut plants down and put mulch everywhere. Fernando was different because he was willing to walk the property with us, identify and explain all the plants, trees and shrubs growing here, and he agreed with us about keeping the lot natural and self-sustaining. Its very reassuring to talk to a landscaper with so much knowledge. He and his crew came out and did an excellent and efficient job cleaning up our lot. We (and the wildlife) are very happy with the results.
