Terrible service. I was willing to return for my new property which is desert landscape. I called the 800 # and completely got the run around. My sister used them a week ago and the technician was there 5mins and it looks like nothing was done. Do yourself a favor and use another company.

Anytime I have had to call Trugreen I have been treated professionally, my concerns were addressed with proficiency and in a timely matter the guys that have treated the lawn trees & shrubs are all very, courteous consistent, and professional.

Tru-Green is only as good as its technicians....technicians who connect with the client at each service are the best. Love the service when it works and I dont have to do a call-back. I do recommend them.

He did a great job I am pleased with TruGreen and the Personnel they sent to my home they do a very good job and the tech is very pleasant to work with and he answers any questions I have.

Customer beware..! This company has call centers around the country and OUT OF THE COUNTRY! Calling their customer service number can get you routed to Trinidad!...If you call their local number for your city and state, you will likely get routed anywhere . I called my local TruGreen with an advertised local address and got re-routed to other states. A week before my call was routed to Trinidad! Secondly, the company will continue to charge you for a new service year as the calendar flips without informing you! Its your responsibility to stay on them and know when your service year is about to be up and call them to cancel future service or you will be charged as they will continue to show up at your house and repeat the lawn program.

Tree & shrub fertilizing

Tru Green has sprayed my property at least twice and maybe three times now and I DONT HAVE THEIR SERVICE. I have a young son and a senior dog with a compromised immune system and I dont want the chemicals. When I called, they were unapologetic and promised to have a manager call me. Still waiting.... Im all for cutting people slack, but at some point you have to strike out. Very unprofessional....

Took the service last year, in August. The first service call was great. 9 months later I can safely say I never had that same experience. They no showed on me 3 times. They say they will notify you in they cancel. They also say they will let you know when they are on the way. I experienced that the first and also on the last time I used their service 9 months later. I complained about the lack of communication and no show. I was promised by the local manager he would call me the day before my scheduled service date. He never called. He forgot to schedule my service as well. After 9 months the lawn looked worse than when I signed up with them. I asked the tech on this last visit why does it look so bad. One reason was they had no showed 2 of the past 4 months. He believed that they did not put down enough fertilizer the last time they were out. On that visit , I received a notice ha had arrived and when he left. The difference was 3 minutes. I can see why he didn t apply enough, he hardly stayed long enough to do anything to 1000 sq feet of grass. Their customer service was good. If it had not been for them I would have canceled 6 months before I did.

Is there a zero star option? They charges my card over 3 weeks ago, scheduled and rescheduled the service 3 times and still have not shown up. They seem to use nationwide network of the most unprofessional and unresponsive contractors.

I used this service in years past, but I discontinued because of no shows. They would schedule and not show or come on a day they were not scheduled to be here. Since I needed to have my yard aerated, I called them again just two weeks ago, thinking I would give them another chance. They were suppose to be here today between 10am and 1pm. Surprise, surprise, no show!!!!! This is a national call center, cant get a hold of anybody locally. The people that work for them are oblivious to what is going on. In fact the whole company appears to be this way. The left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing! They tell me there is nothing showing that I have an appointment today. I fail to understand how this company stays afloat. I advise people to stay away, do not use them!!!!!!! They should be run out of business!!!!!!

They only take care of WEEDS thank goodness I had my daughter ask questions about their services. We thought it was to take care of yard maintenance, trimming, blowing and weed treatment. Make sure everything is explained to you and get things in writing I ve done my own gardening work in my own yard and pulling weeds doesn t drop seeds as my yard hardly has any weeds, people be ware what your getting yourself hooked.. RUN AWAY

The service I pay for is good and I have seen progress however, I am sick of the constant sells emails/calls. I have. I picked the services I needed/wanted why do they keep trying to sell me something else every week?

I would really like to leave a zero star rating. This company certainly would qualify for it. If you start service with them, they do not come out to see the property they just look on Google Maps. In my case their estimate of the square footage treatment area was more than twice what it actually is. The Google Map photo was never accurate as it included areas of all rock and the common area thats behind my backyard wall. Just amazing. I asked them to come out to correct their estimate and they did. That lowered my treatment cost going forward but they wouldnt issue a credit to my account for overcharging me twice. After a long discussion they did give me a discount for future treatments but it doesnt equal the overcharged amount. They spend exactly 4 minutes at my house spraying 4,000 ft2 which they say is all the time they need. Ok Ill give them that one. I ordered aeration on August 29 and have checked my online account regularly and called them several times to find out when it would take place. Two days ago their national office who called with a satisfaction survey told me it would be this Friday. When I didnt receive an email or text about it I called them. I was very even tempered and not combative when they told me it was not scheduled and they had no room to put it on schedule for any day. While I was explaining how long I had requested the service the customer service person hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to a manager. After ten minutes of explaining the situation to another person who couldnt help me I was told a manager from the local branch would call me within 24-48 hours. Well see. I plan to get the aerating done assuming I can get it scheduled and use whatever credits I have for my pre-payment (Ill never do that again) and terminate their service. Youd be better off paving over your lawn and shrubs than getting involved with this company. Update: After posting this review I heard from the franchise owner asking for my name and customer number which I then provided. On the following business day I heard from Customer Service that my lawn aeration was scheduled for the next day. The tech who came out, Saul R., was excellent; I am very happy with the job he did. The business was very responsive to my review.

I have been using Trugreen for several years now, and it really is a good service. Charnell is my service Tech, and he does a great job!!!

I called 6 times and they were either closed or lines were busy. They were banned through the guards from entering. Guards have no record of them getting in for me. Snuck in through another resident. Lied about my gate, it was locked. They could not of done plants behind gate. Promised contract since 2/25, now I find Out I dont get one.

Since I have started using TruGreen, my bushes, trees and plants look so much healthier. I recommend using them for all your landscape needs which require fertilizer.

I have weeds that are coming up and I paid 1 year in full for service and all the Tech would witch about doing my 1/2 acre lot saying I am not paying enough!! Then I get turned over to collections for a $145 charge that I never authorized! Although I talked to 5 different people no one could tell me who authorized the work that I already paid for $500.00 for the year!! Also the chemicals poison my dogs that we thought they was going to die! Be careful and dont try to contact them you can never get through to Trugreen customer service!!

The services were paid for a year in advanced, and they took it advantage of that. They said they showed up and performed a service as I received a text stating it was done, I was outside waiting for them and they never showed up. They are very deceiving and will try to get your money without performing the service. This is a follow up - as you can see the owner of TruGreen said that he wanted my information to set things straight. Let me set things straight about this company, stay far far far away from them. They will take your money and run. Even though the manager did call me he said he would show up at my residence and then the morning of never did show up until I texted him and he had some lame excuse. He said he was gonna show up another day, which was today and he never showed up, I had texted him and made a phone call and he never answered either one. This is such a lame company.

The service works well.The weeds and pre emergent sprays are worth the expense on initial sprays. They show up as scheduled and leave a receipt if not home showing the service was completed.

They ve said they were to our house supposedly three different times. We have been home every time. The first time, they called the guy back to do the job, we know he did not do it, we were at the house, he said he had knocked on our door. He had not. He got all huffy with my husband. And left. They have called him to come back each time, it says they had been here, I was standing outside at one point. There s no way they can spray my front and back half acre yard in one minute. And then they were gone. I would not recommend them to anyone ever again. They used to be a good service, now they just take your money and don t do their job.

They came by 4 times over a period of 6 months to treat my cypress trees with a solution that was supposed to remove the spider webs and revitalize them. Maybe they ve been spraying my trees with tap water because after 6 months of treatment nothing they have done has worked in any kind of way. The problem with my trees just continued to get worse month after month. My cypress trees are now filled with spider webs and are turning brown and dying. I ve reached out to TruGreen several times about this. They keep telling me their area supervisor Jeff is going to reach out to me. It s been 2 months and Jeff hasn t reached out to me. This is just bad service and a bad experience. Once they take your money that s when the nightmare starts. I wouldn t recommend this nightmare company to anyone!

The service gets rid of the weeds. The HOA fines you for weeds. It sure is worth it for me not to get down on my knees and start digging up the weeds. Customer service is excellent!

Great response at the start up but after that the quality and responsiveness diminishes rapidly. I made the big mistake of prepaying for a year of services and now regret it. Changes in scheduling are sometimes communicated and sometimes not. I did not expect to have so many issues early in my start up. Yesterday I was scheduled for sprinkler service (after a previous cancellation and change in date) and needed to be home. I took the day off and waited all day. I even called to inquire about my appointment and was assured all was on schedule. . Nobody showed up and i have yet to receive a call regarding what happened and to set another appointment. By the way, the chat line is a waste of time. No help at all and they refuse to provide the names or contact information of Senior Management for support. I simply wanted to share my story of what has happened since I signed up and prepayed for a multitude of services. By the way, if you order the weed killer (pre-emergent) it contains a yellow stain that will discolor rocks, sidewalks etc. I have flagstone walkways and cannot get it off. My contact with Tru Green today got nowhere other than a response of thats the first time I have heard of that. No request for photos. No offer of resolution or even the slightest concern. Anyhow, I am a pretty patient and understanding person but will strongly advise anybody seeking lawn care from TruGreen to beware. Service does not appear to be even the slightest bit of a priority with this company and customer concerns are not addressed promptly. I am still waiting for a call back on what happened to my no show and to find out about the application stains on my walks. Just thought I would share my experiences and save others from the same issues.

I called for an estimate about two years ago. They NEVER STOP CALLING! they said they put me on a do not call list but I just got called by them AGAIN. So if you have a strong desire to be bothered by sales people for the rest of your life then by all means call this company

I would give them zero stars. I gave them a credit card number and 6 months worth of prepaid business. I never received even a phone call from this office to schedule a visit to my home. I have called their call center 3 times and the team says they will get a supervisor to follow up. Silence is all I received.

This is a terrible company. They took our money for aeration 4 weeks ago promising the service would be in 7-10 days. When we called after that period of time, we hadnt even been put on the schedule so it would be within the next week. We called the next week, still not on the schedule so asked for our money back. The billing clerk said we could be put on the schedule for the next day, the local supervisor would call that night to set a time. Never heard from him. Called today, there is a note on our file that said they were not doing aerations until September! Asked for a refund and were told it would take 7-10 days to process that! (Chances are in 10 days they will tell us itll be another week for our refund.) Do not use this company.

This is a very disorganized company which ultimately leads to a terrible looking lawn. The sprinkler guy doesn t talk to the seed guy and the tree guy doesn t talk to the lawn guy and the bug guy...well you get it. To have these guys come out and kill your lawn is not easy or cheap. My advise is to do it yourself and save money. This company reminds me of a group of circus workers...you know the ones with the big shoes and funny looking hair!

So hard to get a hold of a person at this company then when you tell them 10 times did you have doesn t landscape and they still want to treat your lawn. Leave a message and they call back four days later. Definitely try somebody else!

Filled out a form explaining what I needed evaluated - never heard anything back from the company. Tried calling and got some fast talking woman that didnt seem to understand answers I gave to her questions and could not even keep my name straight. Does not give a person much confidence in the company.

Well these guys just knocked on my door like they were the police and rang my doorbell twice in a matter of 30 seconds. Its almost 8pm. I have a young son who just got woken up by this idiot salesman. It scared him and now hes having trouble going to sleep. Its pretty bad business to come soliciting after dark. Not to mention I dont even have grassin the first place. Extremely rude and inconsiderate.

I didnt see the staff member at my house but its been 10 days or so and my back yard looks great. All weeds killed. Front yard still has weeds but many are dying off.

They have been GREAT with explaining my service and calling me back!!! My Lawn looks awesome!

Just an FYI... I had a rep. Com to my door. I bought a years worth of service. They did a good job. A couple times they couldnt do the service. The guy said he would reschedule. Sweet. Well con to find out not only do they do the service I paid for up front,. They kept coming monthly after my services where done. Didnt know I have to call and cancel, or call and reschedule if services are not done. Now I owe for services the wife not done and services I didnt want. I will not do services like this ever again.

I never normally post anything about an establishment, however I called the company to have some weeds removed etc and pest control for kissing bugs. I talk to the Rep who sets me up the appointment. Rep acted as if verified my information but did he really lol no he didnt. I get a call for the day of service that were to be conducted and the specialist calls me JJ. Im not JJ sir, ok however sir the specialist stated to me that he has to cancel the service due to the weather. I call the company contact center to cancel the appointment and the Specialist over the phone doesnt even bother to see who I am Identity security breach. Day later I check my mail and get a bill for $573.37, Im sitting here talking to my girl and I was like did the come after i cancelled the services She states to me no they never did. Not Organized or the dirty thieves the really dont care about the clients financial information.

Horrible was paying for my father monthly after he did the grass himself got it green they came back and sprayed on it and turned my fathers grass green. Called and emailed still no response to it.
