Called, made an appt for a sprinkler blowout with the office administrator who was friendly and efficient, received an updated time window the day before service, and service was completed without issue and by friendly staff. My expectations might be lower after horrible experiences with landscaping companies in the past, but I was extremely satisfied with Happy Roots and will be contacting them again for all of our sprinkler needs.

I love Happy Roots because, among other things, they send polite, informative emails letting me know when they will be by to shovel snow. They always do a really great job and shovel all the way from my mailbox to my neighbor s mailbox, which is slightly past my yard, but a common courtesy.

Ive been using Happy Roots for years (in 4 different homes). I always enjoy driving up to the house to see my lawn. Its very thick, very green and extremely healthy. Even during the hottest times during the summer, it never dries out nor do I have dry spots. Ive used other companies for lawn care previously and they dont come close. Aside from my lawn, the customer service is top notch. If youve been on the fence about hiring out any level of lawn care, I highly recommend giving them a try for a season.

Ive had Happy Roots taking care of my lawn in two different houses in the Westminster/Broomfield area for the last 3 years. Im not bragging, Im just saying that my yard is the best looking one in the neighborhood except for the yard across the street. But then, they have Happy Roots too.

Had known irrigation issues from the beginning. Paid to have them do a thorough review but was told all was fine. After the end of the summer, the sod we placed in that area started to die and asked them to come back and inspect the area again. We were told that the owner would be coming but instead sent the same, inexperienced person that said nothing was wrong. Lawn was not in better shape than when we started with them and were pretty disappointed.

Second year in a row Happy Roots has come out to do a fall yard clean up for me. Very happy each time. Professional crews and they also do an excellent job. Ill be back!

My roots are soooo happy! I only trust Happy Roots with my yard. In the past we trusted two of the national lawn care services and another local service, but our lawn still had issues. We bought our first house in late 2009, and in the spring of 2010 we noticed that something was wrong with the lawn. After an extensive google search, I called Happy Roots and made an appointment. That was the first time I met with Les to figure out what was wrong with the grass. In short, the previous owner of my house had been over watering, over fertilizing and using the wrong kind of sprinkler heads; which made the roots too shallow and the undergrowth too thick. We looked at the watering schedule and it had been set to twice daily, for about an hour at a time. The sprinklers were going off so often that the overspray was even damaging the trees. We needed to retrain the grass and get the roots to go deeper instead of spreading along the surface. Les suggested we break up the thatch and undergrowth in the grass through multiple aerations. Les also reset my sprinkler timing and has helped repeatedly to adjust and replace the sprinkler heads over the years. It took a few years to finally sort out the lawn even with regular service. In retrospect it would have been faster, and far more expensive, to dig up all the grass and sprinklers then just rebuild the sprinkler system with fresh sod. Les hung in there with me, year after year, until we finally got the lawn into better shape. It looks better now than ever before. The thatch is gone and the grass is growing in full and thick. We no longer see hotspots in the yard thanks to the work Les has done on the sprinkler system. We were even able to save our damaged trees through the adjustments in the watering schedule and sprinkler heads; we were sure we were going to lose the trees. While we worked on the lawn through the years, Les never tried to upsell me on a higher level of service or charged me for anything that was unnecessary. I highly recommend Happy Roots for their dependability and expertise.

Four months ago I was afriad I was about to lose both front and backyard lawns, but after just 3 applications (I opted for the Gold service), my lawn is heading into winter looking great! Happy Roots has been such a wonderful help to us this summer! Not only did they do a great job mowing our yards once a week but offered other services we took advantage of. We also had them do a much needed yard clean up in the spring and a couple of times they were here to fix our automatic sprinklers.

Ive had this excellent business look after my lawn, sprinklers and fertilizing for several years now and they hit the mark EVERY time. Les, the owner, charges reasonable prices for all his services and he provides a choice of service levels (Gold, Silver, etc.) that helps suit his customers needs and budgets. The administrative end (communication by phone/e-mail scheduling, date/time confirmations, etc.) is managed professionally by his office manager, as well. As simple as these little things might sound, how many businesses these days take the time and effort to make them ACTUALLY happen? Well, Happy Roots does. Also, Happy Roots is a locally-owned and -operated business. Its easy to see that Les and his crew care about the services they provide. This business is miles and miles ahead of all the other corporations/chains that come knocking on my door selling their services. I have used Happy Roots for 2-3 years now and am very pleased. They always do a great job, my lawn looks better than it ever has, and the office staff is always pleasant and helpful. Very happy to have found them.

They do not work w/ people renting out their own house. We currently live overseas working w/ the government and need our yard worked on, however, when trying to inquire about pet friendly fertilizer we were informed they do not work with rental properties. This policy does not make any sense, and they refused to work with us. We would have like to support a local business, but when they act like this. . . it is mind-numbing!! I am glad they have so much business that they dont need ours. We are going back to Tru Green - at least they were professional and and didnt make policies that dont make sense.

Happy Roots is Phenomenal! They completely eliminated a stubborn fungus issue in both my front and back lawns and restored my lawns to perfect 100% green, healthy appearance. I dont have a ton of experience with other lawn care companies, but Happy Roots was great for us this year. Prices were reasonable, and they were always there when they said they would be. Any time I had a concern, my questions were answered quickly, and I especially appreciated the occasional helpful tips from Les on things to do to keep your yard looking great.

We have used Happy Roots for several years. They do a great job and are dependable, informative and easy to communicate with. They are responsive in person, by phone or by email. The crew will bring lawn care concerns they have to your attention. Happy Roots sends frequent emails with very helpful information on lawn care, watering and irrigation systems. I find the following tips and reminders especially helpful; emails to turn off your irrigation system if we have received a lot of rain, freeze warnings when it is possible you sprinkler system is still on (including steps on what to do if it is) and reminders to water trees and lawn during Winter months if we have had exceptionally dry conditions. Our lawn looks much better since we switched to weekly service from Happy Roots!

HR is a great service, even for do it youself-ers. I tried to do all my lawn care myself in previous years, but between my job, kids, and the other things I have to manage, it got to be a pretty big chore. I started the basic plan with HR to put the lawn on a regular aeration, feeding, and weeding cycle. It has made a big difference. Plus the staff is very professional, friendly, shows up when they say they will, does a great job, and the email tips and other communications are spot on. I still handle certain things myself, but the increase in my homes curb appeal this year is noticeable.

They take care of my yard as if it was their own. Its March and my grass is already turning green. Whenever I have questions on what to do about a specific yard situation, Happy Roots is always there to answer my questions. I used to use some kids who would just cut the grass but Happy Roots really takes care of everything and its great to come home and realize that the yard is done and I can go out there on the patio and enjoy the evening with my family instead of dreading the yard work due to allergies. Happy Roots is awesome.

My husband and I began using Happy Roots to start up and blow out our sprinklers; but since they have expanded we have used their complete service. It has been wonderful not having to worry about when we need to areate or fertilize - they took care of it!
