Highly recommended. Great service, reasonable prices. Prompt, efficient and neat. I had tree stumps ground out and a large bush removed. The yard was left in good shape, and all waste materials removed.
These guys did a tremendous job for a fair price. The wind blew down a substantial trunk that blocked our driveway and almost hit our house. The crew removed the trunk plus several more that could've landed on the house. They were fast, efficient and professional, and cleaned up all the sticks and twigs. I highly recommend!
I was very pleased with Cost Cutters quick, professional & competent work. They removed three 60-foot poplar trees that were very close to a new fence and over-topping several ash, apple & juniper trees. There was no damage to the fence or residual trees and no debris fell into the neighbor's yard. They did an excellent cleanup job, chipped most of the material, and hauled away the chips as well as the tree trunk portions too large to chip. The price was fair. I highly recommend Cost Cutters and will definitely hire them again when I have future needs for tree service or landscaping.
The crew from Cost Cutters were true professoonals. They took care to keep tree limbs from destroying the plants beneath. They worked quickly and efficiently, and they cleaned away as much debris as possible. They worked safely, efficiently and thoroughly. We are very pleased with their service. I would definitely hire them again.
John was very pleasant to work with and true to his word. His crew showed up in a timely manner and got our two shade tees down and cleaned up in a hour and 45 min. They were very pleasant to work with and affordable. We highly recommend Cost Cutters for your tree services.
Every time I have ever had Cost Cutters do any work for me they have always cleaned up their brush piles, their dead fall and would rake up all of the sticks and leaves. They would also take leaf blowers and blow the drive way clean! have always been neat and clean about their work. And are very well priced, great quality people to talk to. You can let them know what you have going on and they will do it the best way they possibly can.
I shook hands with the owner of Cutters. We agreed that he take the tree down And haul everything away. I have had to look at and trip over 6 logs 8 to 12' long for three years. When I was growing up a handshake was all you needed to make a transaction. I don't think I got a very good handshake from this company.

Do not recommend. They will inspect your property and then give you a quote. They will then raise it significantly and are not nice about it. Horrible experience.

Cost Cutters Tree Service did an excellent job removing a huge spruce tree from my yard. They worked around the side of the house and next to utility wires with careful expertise. Had to have a mature box elder cut down. John not only answered the phone himself but stopped by a few days later with an estimate. Other tree cutters didn t even return my call or email. John and his crew showed up today and did the job ahead of schedule. While they were there my neighbor asked for a branch trimming job of several mature trees in her yard and John gave her an estimate on the spot. He proceeded to do the work himself while his 2 assistants cut down my tree. Both my neighbor and I are very pleased!

Rude man named John answered phone. I thought that I had the wrong number. VERY UNPLEASANT! Doing business elsewhere.
I called Cost Cutters to see if someone could come out to take care of a branch that was causing damage to my gutter, especially when the wind was blowing. I felt it was a somewhat urgent situation because it seemed like the branch was eventually going to tear the gutter down. I had called a couple other places before Cost Cutter and they were both backed out 3-5 weeks before they could assist. Cost Cutters was at my home within the same day I called. There were many other areas that needed trimming and I asked if they could take care of these as well, not expecting that it would be the same evening. It was no problem and every tree around the house got trimmed at the same time. John, the owner, was very professional over the phone and his son, who came out to do the work, was very personable and accommodating. The next day everything was cleaned up and gone by the time I got home from work. I would highly recommend their service!

Hired to cut back our lilacs and Russian olive hedge last year. Basically appeared to have cut straight across with a chainsaw. I was waiting to see how they grew in this spring. The Russian olive is showing no signs of life and it looks awful - cut off at about 3 feet high. Same with the lilacs. Right way I now know is to cut the old stock back almost all the way down. Just suckers growing out of stumps. So disappointed.
Very rude. Answers phone with a what. I had to ask if this was cost cutters tree service . He was very rude through our Conversation. I end it and said have a nice day and hung up. He called me back a minute later and I let it go to voice mail and he left me a nasty message.
We shopped around for a tree removal company for a couple of months. We finally made the call to Cost Cutters and we couldnt be more please with our choice. John and his crew were very professional and went above and beyond our expectations. You will not find a better group of folks and you certainly wont find a better service. I m searching Helena tonight on google to find a company to help provide a few yards of landscaping river rock for a couple local stores I m working on and I find this company and google clearly states they are open 24 hours. I m thinking, awesome, I don t have to wait till the morning to get some answers to my questions. So I called and the phone immediately was picked up and I started explaining the above, and he s like, ...and this is an emergency? I said No, but your website says you are open 24 hours. I tried to explain myself a little more and realized he wasn t saying anything. I was getting a clue that they really aren t open 24 hours (except for maybe emergencies which I didn t notice anything about), and said, well I can call back another time. And then the rudest thing I ve ever heard a business say to a potential client. He replied, Don t bother! I was shocked, and quite taken aback.
