Lawn Specialties in Hazleton

Wonderful and efficient company!

My contract was transferred to Lawn Specialties from Ultra Lawn. I had a similar terrible experience as the other Ultra customers in my New Jersey area have been having. The manager from Pennsylvania agrees and blames it on the manager they hired here. So what good does that do me? I paid in full for service that I never received, promises that were never kept, just lots of talk by the manager. And doesn't the new owner watch and pay attention to an established business you purchased that had an excellent reputation?

I see others had the same poor experience. We also had Ultra who sold to this company. We canceled our services because the lawn looked atrocious. The administrative office of this company is also poorly run, billing for services not rendered. Clearly this company is remote from its clientele and it has no clue what is being done in the field. I would attach a photo but everyone knows what hay looks like.

The only reason I am picking 1 star is because Google will not let me pick 0. We used Ultra Lawn Services for years and they were the best. Unfortunately the owner retired and sold to this company starting this year and they are the worst. It took them two months before they came for the first time this year, then they came twice more and never came back after mid June. Half our neighborhood uses them and they ignored the whole neighborhood and are going to loose all the business. Do not use them!

You don't even deserve one star.

This company just bought out my local company that services both of my properties. They suck and definitely lost me as a customer. Our local pages are all talking about how bad and horrible your service is. What a waste of money

A couple of years ago, Lawn Specialties bought the company we had been using. I was skeptical at first, because I really had specific needs, particularly because we are on well water. Our normal technician, Bill, came with the transfer of companies and we couldn't have been happier. He is always so pleasant and always calls me the day before just to ensure I am ok with him coming out. I have also had a lot of interactions with Tyler. We started having some major weed issues in a couple of beds and he came out to take care of them. He went above and beyond what was required of him by not only spraying for weeds, but he pulled a lot as well. If you are looking for a company to take care of the health of your grass, trees, etc., Lawn Specialties is where you want to go. While they are located in Hazleton, they do work down here in the Lehigh Valley as well.

These guys were great to work with! Steve and Tyler assessed my lawn and gave me honest recommendations. I’ve worked with other lawn care companies in the past who were all about taking more services but lawn specialties provided me with a focused plan to repair damages from this past years drought.
