I have been using Terry and Scenic Lawns for over 20 years. They have done a great job with landscaping, hardscaping, and the lawn. The most recent project was a beautiful driveway and front porch project. Terry did a good job understanding what I wanted and I am very pleased with the results. Scenic Lawns & Landscaping do wonderful work. Our backyard had serious water drainage issues and the patio was an ugly cement slab that was cracking. After a consultation with Terry, who listened to what we wanted as well as determining what was needed to fix our problems, we had Scenic Lawns come complete work to include French drains, landscaping, a beautiful new paver patio, and stone pathway. Terry was kind, professional and quick to respond to any questions we had and his team did fantastic work. We highly recommend Scenic Lawns & Landscaping for any of your landscaping needs, from drainage to patios to simple reseeding and mowing. They can do it all, and they do it well!
I have used Terry & Scenic Lawns numerous time over the past ten to fifteen years. They replaced my concrete driveway with more environmentally friendly pavers, performed a complete landscaping design and installation around my house and have installed a gorgeous stone raised-bed garden near my house in the backyard. In addition, the have provided yearly mulching and regular lawn treatments to my property. Their work is first class and their crew members are polite and courteous with every job. I highly recommend Scenic Lawns & Landscaping for landscape design and maintenance.
I've been using Scenic Lawns and working with Terry for about 40 years, in two different houses. He does all my lawn maintenance, and has done some regrading, design and replacement of foundation plantings, and mulching and pruning, etc. I would not even consider anyone else. His crew is very professional, and neat, and easy to work with. Terry is very knowledgeable. He quickly diagnoses all problems I might have including diseases, poor drainage, etc. and knows exactly how to correct them. I cannot say enough good things about Terry and Scenic Lawns. Simply the best.
Terry and Scenic Lawns did an amazing job on our front steps and patio. As well as our pool deck and back door steps and lighting. The Landscaping project was amazingly designed and completed in a timely fashion. We have know Terry for 3 years now and he has outstanding knowledge when it comes to local vegetation. Terry and his team are gifted landscapers, and a true pleasure to work with. They designed and built our patios, walkways and a front porch for our former home. After we added an addition to our current home, Terry's team built a retaining wall and side walks. After discovering two underground springs in our back yard, they designed and built drains and beautiful river rock paths. We now have no water problems. Terry's work is not only functionally efficient but also aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
Working with Terry at Scenic Lawns was truly a gift. We had several complicated issues with our property and then the County that Terry worked along with us every step of the way. The completed work is still absolutely beautiful all these years later and each and every recommendation Terry had is so appreciated to this day. Not only has our area become safer but it's an absolute oasis and paradise for us. And the best part is that we know it'll be this way for many more years. Terry and his excellent crew replaced a muddy area of our yard with a beautifully designed walkway bordered by turf. They solved the rather large problem of mud in the house from several dogs. I recommend them without hesitation.

I have used Terry Cummings and Scenic Lawns and Landscaping for more than 20 years. Over the years and for several homes, Terry and his team have done everything for me from total landscape design and installation to quarterly maintenance. The last project we did together was at the estate level. This included a design and installation covering 3/4 acre to include paved and heated walkways, lighting, creative stone walls, grass, a variety of trees, shrubs, ornamentals and perennials. At one point, Terry had to repair and create a new drainage system that would fix an extensive run-off problem deterioating my land on the water-side, while complying with AA County waterfront rules. Terry and his team do everything with little fan-fare and simple hard-work. Terry works WITH you, he listens while providing learned advice, his team works very hard to deliver what you want, within your budget and when the weather cooperates, in your timeframe. SL&L is a great team to work with.

Scenic Landscaping has serviced my lawn for the past 15 years. Unlike the big name companies, Scenics service is a partnership. The personal service is exceptional. Terry knows my lawn and its needs and I have learned to rely on his advice and service. Hes quick to return emails and always points me to the most cost-effective solution to my lawn problems (not the most profitable). I cant imagine ever changing or doing it all on my own. When I meet new neighbors and I tell them where I live they say Oh, the house with the beautiful yard?. Only downside is now that the lawn is so healthy, I end up spending a lot of my weekend time cutting and trimming and manicuring it and getting it just so.
Terry did major landscaping work in our yard twice in the past 15 years and recently built a paver sidewalk and landing. We have been very happy with his work.

Terry and his company have been doing landscaping work for us over a few years now. We had tried four other landscaping/lawn maintenance companies before that but they either werent very good or werent very reliable. Terry came to give us an estimate and it was obvious that he knew his stuff. After the previous lawn maintenance crew, the side of our house had a huge weed problem. Terry didnt promise anything but by the halfway point of the first year of work, the weed problem virtually had disappeared. It was amazing. Since then, they have done an excellent job of sprucing up the plant beds, pruning, treating the lawn, etc. We highly recommend Scenic Lawns.

We had a smallish area that needed to be landscaped to replace unattractive and difficult to maintain plantings. Despite having other larger ongoing contracts, Scenic Lawns got our job done within a couple weeks. An eyesore is now gone, replaced with lovely and controllable plants bounded by an attractive and durable border.
Terry helped us plan gardens for our back yard - a blank space of grass that really needed help. He and his staff were delightful to work with, and we are very satisfied with the results!

We have had Scenic caring for our lawn since we bought our house 9 years ago. When I am out in the yard, it is not unusual for people walking by to compliment the great lawn. Scenic has also done hardscaping and landscaping from building our patio to planting a holly grove.

Scenic Lawns created a dry river bed in my back yard that is the talk of the community. The designer (Terry) and the crew which created the space were so easy to work with and completed a masterpiece in my yard. Also, a wonderful garden area was installed so that I dont have to bend down to plant and pick my vegetables that also has an automatic watering system. Its lovely!
