Good's Tree and Lawn Care in Harrisburg

Took PTO to meet estimater, estimater comes as scheduled, 2 weeks and multiple phone calls later, still no quote. Sad.

One of the driver s cut me off going way over the speed limit and proceeded to flip me off, going on Edgewood Rd. Really unprofessional in a work truck.

Grateful for the knowledge has concerning our trees and great skill in caring for them. I highly recommend Good s services.

They schedule an appointment for me to come out and give me an estimate and they never showed and didnt have the courtesy to give me a call to reschedule. I will never recommend them.

Although it was a small job, Goods treated it with professionalism and with a reasonable price.

Prompt service and knowledgeable staff

I recently had Goods out to my house to remove dead branches from my large pin oak tree. Everyone I interacted with from the company was professional and helpful. I would not hesitate to use Goods again in the future. Edit - One year later: I ended up needing to get my tree removed and Goods did a fantastic job. There were some tricky aspects to my project, which Goods handled perfectly. I feel like their crew really knows what theyre doing, and I am happy with how it all turned out.

10/11/23 Driver hauling Goods Tree and Lawn Care service trailer almost caused 3 car accident this morning on Linglestown Rd. Driver turned left into center lane cutting off traffic just to slam on their brakes to turn right. Too important to slow down and wait for 3 cars to pass instead of forcing their way into heavy traffic.

Very easy to work with local lawn and tree service. Much better than Trugreen. I use the organic products this year in the lawn looks great and I live in the middle of the forest.

Goods Tree and Lawn Care- As the Thanksgiving holiday season comes around we tend to remember those we are especially happy,proud AND truely grateful for, unfortunately we were VERY REMISS in acknowledgeing, for their service Virginia and John . This Dynamic Duo climbed trees,crouched under shrubs, forced stubborn, and unruly limbs to obey or just plain pruned their length to submission/cut at the notch ! I am so sorry we forgot to acknowledge these two Goods Tree service workers. They did superior work, on an intensely busy.long day. plus the heat factor was a degree to be reckoned with. We did our best with granola bars/water. These two kept their cool,did a much admired service(us and our neighbors opinion) and created a thing of beauty on our neglected greenery, especially the front River Birch, Atlas Cedar. Soooooo we give a 10 STAR REVIEW to, these two and hope Goods appreciates them as they definitly provided a JOB WELL DONE, and gave us a new proud outlook on our surroundings.(John, I know we spoke of beautiful landscapes,flora,fauna, I mentioned Hawaii,dont give up, MAUI will return from its fiery devastation . A helpful and friendly family business. I went there looking to get some of their free wood chips for my garden. Roger told me about a composting facility nearby that may have even better, free mulch for me. He even took the time to look it up and print out some information for me. Thanks Roger!

The team they sent to my house were incredible. I didnt catch their names but they were 2 women. They did a fantastic job, I would HIGHLY recommend. My trees look incredible.

My pine trees were treated for bagworms and needle cast, they are coming back to life and look great. Very satisfied with the service provided.

After five calls, being transferred and not called back i finally spoke with someone in production. Unfortunately, they would not help us solve removing three large trees. Move on.

Jason, Tom and Matt did an excellent job removing a maple tree from the side of the house and trimming up my ash tree in the back yard! Highly recommended! They even got the job done weeks earlier then proposed. Very fair price and responsive service.

These folks did a fantastic job of removing several trees and trimming others. They were extremely professional and courteous, and I thought I got good value for my money. Both crews that worked on my property treated me with great respect but also seemed to treat each other with the same respect. I was very impressed with their teamwork and the collegial way they interacted. The work they were doing was not quiet (far from it), but the men went about it with a quiet professionalism--no yelling or swearing. I would recommend them, and hire them again, in a heartbeat.

Our 1955 LARGE oak tree finally got to the point where it needed to be removed due to excessive rotting, along with the stump being ground down. At the same time, we had Goods trim up a second much younger, but still large Oak tree. Our neighbor also had their Oak removed and a Pear tree pruned, so the Goods Tree crews were in our neighborhood for most of a week. They were extremely efficient with their work, and worked smart; you can tell the company invests in quality tools and machines to get the job done, not relying solely on muscle power. The workers were all respectful, friendly, took care to not tear up our yards any more than was necessary, and were all around wonderful. Jason, Tom, JD, Smitty, Wes, Rob, Mitch, Noah, Jake, Hannah, Matt, and Rick were all fantastic! In addition to the exceptional work, Goods also came in with the best price, out of the half dozen quotes we obtained for the services needed. Would HIGHLY recommend this company.

Came out and explained what issues we did and did not have. Very appreciative of their honesty. gentleman who came to our home was very professional.

Great lawn products that produce results fast. Ian, who works on my lawn is friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about his profession.

Matt, the arborist, has been out twice for various things. He is always super professional, wore his mask (during covid) and is so knowledgeable its amazing. Would highly recommend this company. In fact, I already have to friends. This customer service deserves a review, which I dont often leave.

SAFETY first !!! Excellent work, very accommodating, asked if I was satisfied or wanted more trimmed from the tree. Cleanup was great, didnt know they were there, when the job was finished.

Too busy to schedule stump removal

We had a large tree removed and another large tree pruned significantly and stabilized. They also removed the stump. Staff from the original estimate through the completion of the work were outstanding. Estimated timelines were met and communication throughout the process was perfect. The work was done with care and very efficiently. They were very specific regarding the work and options to consider which we appreciated. Highly recommended.

We have used Goods tree care services on our trees and they have saved many from disease. They are prompt, reliable and courteous.

Called for an estimate and 3 weeks later still waiting. Called twice to see what was going on and was told they would check with the guy doing the estimate so still no progress.

Wow. Have you ever had to cancel a service BEFORE they ever started? I was going to give this company a try for my lawn care program because they did a terrific job on my treecare. From the moment the lawn care sales rep/tech came on my property to analyze my yard, I knew there would be a problem. I take tremendous pride and play a very active role in my landscape and lawn care. With it being an abnormally warm season, I had a few concerns with crabgrass emerging so I called the company twice to see when they would be coming out to apply my pre-emergent. They couldnt give me a definite timeline other than in a few weeks, 2-3 wks. Ive never in the past had my service done this late in the season. I tried to voice my concern and offer an interim solution to apply my own pre-emergent to avoid potential crabgrass issues and instead of listening to my concern, making me feel understood but mostly valued and important, the sales manager took a very arrogant, condescending and exasperated tone with me, never taking a single moment to listen to my concern or calmly reassure me but rather spent most of the time raising his voice, cutting me off, talking over me, stroking his own ego with his 42yrs of lawn care knowledge while never making me feel understood but instead, made me feel like like I was bothering him! No way will I ever hire anybody that raised their voice and argued with me and made me feel so uncomfortable and afraid to call if I have a question or concern and above all, someone who seems to value themselves and their ego more than the alleviating and reassuring their customer calmly.

Just watched one of their employees chew out a cashier at the local gas station. I was standing in line behind the gentleman and he ripped into the poor cashier because there wasnt any coffee in the coffee machine. Absolutely inappropriate and incredibly ignorant how he treated the poor cashier. Meanwhile, she was the only one working with a line of customers waiting to pay. After the gentleman paid I apologized to the cashier for his behavior because it was utterly inappropriate. I watched the gentleman get into a goods tree service vehicle and leave. If this is the type of ignorant and inappropriate person theyre going to hire Ill take my business elsewhere.

Professional, quick, great work and the employees are nice.

Goods Tree Care just finished a job for us at our home in York, PA. What a wonderful experience we had with them. From visiting our home and discussing all the options and best course of action, giving us a quote, and then performing the work, it was professional and friendly all the way through. The workers were friendly and worked really hard to get the work done before the rain. When they finished I could hardly tell where they had the equipment in the yard. The best part was they cleaned up all the branches and waste, and I mean all of it! Thanks guys for a job well done. Goods tree care will be my go to tree care company from here on out!!

Requested an estimate in early August 2016. Received estimate mid-August. Approved estimate next day, told 4-6 weeks for scheduling. End of September checked again, told would be scheduled in October. October 23rd checked on status and was told told call someone else in the office to see about scheduling. I patiently waited 2 1/2 months for them to contact me to schedule. Will not ever do business with them again. Ill find another company that has some respect for their customers.
