I have had about three jobs completed by Turf Works over the past 4-5 years, the most recent in August . Clark, the owner/manager, is quick to respond to telephone calls to inquire about a job and very timely in arriving when he says he will to give an estimate. He goes over what the customer is looking for, what he can do, make suggestions and is honest in advising the customer what is not possible, if need be. He will not compromise landscape or hardscape standards, and has a high personal standard he sets , so the customer knows what the work entails. He strives to start then job on time and to complete it in the time frame agreed upon- weather and other unforeseen circumstances notwithstanding- even then, he will not hesitate to shuffle staff to keep things moving or catch up and even as owner, he is not above actually getting involved with the physical labor to meet timelines. Clark is clear on the work to be done, the estimate is detailed and provided quickly . Clark checks in frequently and stops by personally while the job is progressing and addresses any questions or concerns the homeowner may have. At job completion , he meets with the customer again to go over the work done and discuss what was done and answer any questions. If need be, he makes arrangements to follow up to check on things after job completion. I have found his pricing to be fair and very reasonable. Communication, as mentioned is ongoing from the first time you call, through the job, the completion walkthrough and any subsequent follow ups. His company is about customer satisfaction and maintaining high standards in job completion.

I cannot recommend Turf Works Landscaping enough! They completely transformed my front yard from an overgrown English garden(weeds everywhere) and removal of trees into a clean slate ready for fresh foliage next spring. The stone walk way looks fantastic (Nova 3000 stone) but the center piece is the giant slab step they used and the fresh sod for the front lawn looks lush and green. The new backyard patio is the perfect size for entertaining, and the windmill fireplace adds a cozy touch. But what truly blew me away was their attention to detail. Clark's team was friendly and professional. Every stone was placed with precision, and the landscaping design exceeded my expectations. The front yard is the talk of the neighborhood. Total cost was around 24k. Thank you for creating a backyard I'll cherish for years to come!

TurfWorks has completed several landscaping projects on our property in recent years including one just a few weeks ago (August 2024). We have found the owner (Clark) to be incredibly responsive and personally manages each project. He is determined to provide high quality outcomes and he stands behind his work. We have been very pleased with the results and highly recommend.

Second time I’ve had the pleasure to have Turf Works do a project for us. An idea I had turned into a message to Clark. Response was immediate and that evening we had a plan and a quote. And in less than a week, the job was started, and despite some stubborn stumps, work was completed two days later. Very happy with the experience, the crew, and the result.

The front of our home on Brookdale Drive had a 30 year old garden bed against the front wall facing the street. It had become unsightly as we are not gardeners. The slate stone walls were in good shape but added to the unsightliness (izzat a word?). Additionally, in the centre of the front lawn, an old birdbath stood in between two 10 year old (estimated) pine trees and next to the well head. Upon receipt of a flyer from TurfWorks in the mail, I looked them up, found they were a local Hanwell business and were not only registered with the Better Business Bureau, but had a flawless 13 year record with NO complaints! So I called them up and the owner, Clark Gildart, agreed to come out to give an estimate on removal of both garden beds and relocating the slate stones to the side of our property for future use. His estimate was made within a business day and was very reasonable. We agreed to have the work done which was completed within one week of signing! In this, the busiest of the season! I was extremely impressed by the professionalism of my dealings with TurfWorks and recommend them highly!

Amazing work from Clark and everyone else! They were able to complete my project very quickly on short notice, and went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. I will absolutely be using them for any future landscaping needs!

Could not have had a better experience with Turf Works! Clark and his team, Jordan & Chris, were excellent to work with, they were beyond honest, and transparent regarding costs and timelines. They were professional, timley, down to earth and communicated well with all our needs and budget. Our project went smooth and ended up being done earlier which was amazing!
