Lawn Doctor of South Shore in Hanson

I have the worst experience ever with this company, they lure the customer to their service with aggressive advertising, I have not noticed any change in my lawn and when I asked, I was told I may see better result if I upgrade (pay more).

Service provided by Dan Morano was professional and the property was left clean with proper signage put in place.

Lawn Doctor was professional , courteous , on time and knows what they are doing. Ive used them for several years and will continue.

They will just assume you want service the next year then bill you when they show up without confirming. You tell them stop showing up without speaking to me first now they think leaving a voicemail and just showing up is confirming thats not confirming thats assuming! They dont listen then bill you without you agreeing to it at all. You call ask for an email with a breakdown of what is owed they never send it then they send your outstanding balance to collections I paid them in July. Funny part is while they send it to collections you get a voicemail saying they are coming to do another application! You never agreed you are ok with doing again assuming!

Brady showed up while i was working in the driveway, He was very friendly and informative about what he was doing.

Lawn doctor sent out an email advising to respond when the fall cleanup was complete and they would schedule a technician to come out and provide the last treatment for the winter. I called them and they were at the house in a few days. Paul came and professionally applied the winter fertilizer and provided a detailed report. He moved the lawn furniture and closed the gates upon his completion.

Service is great. The team that treated my lawn today were polite and got right to the job. My lawn has never looked better.

We have been using Lawn Doctor for four years and have been very satisfied. Our lawn is in much better shape thanks to Lawn Doctor.

Our service tech, Vinny, knocked on our door before servicing our yard to ensure we did not have questions and explained exactly what was included in the first application. He also cleared off all hard scaping with a blower wherever the fertilizer bled over. Update 10/6/2024 - I ended up cancelling our service back in August because we were seeing a lot of weeds popping up and we really werent happy with the service at that point and decided to cancel. Lawn Doctor said it usually take a few years for progress but we had almost as many weeds in the yard as when we started. Part of our service up to that point included Guaranteed grub protection application. After cancelling, large portions of our front and backyard have been destroyed by grubs. You can easily pull up large slabs of turf in all of these areas. I decided to call Lawn Doctor since this application was paid for and supposedly guaranteed but after a few minutes on hold, I was advised that the guarantee only applies to current customers. I thought this was odd because we had already paid for this service and they should stand by it for the remainder of the current season. I ended up getting a call back from them later that day and was told that after consulting with the management team, they would come out and apply another grub treatment. That is fine, however, now Im responsible for paying for materials (seed/topsoil) to repair the damage. Seems to me, either the grub protection doesnt work, it wasnt applied correctly or it wasnt applied at all. In general, they are responsive and we were happy with initial service but I cant in good faith recommend them. Weve referred a neighbor and several friends as well and I will be letting them know. If you use Lawn Doctor, dont bother with the grub application. Just do it yourself to make sure it is done correctly.

After not servicing the lawn properly, this company did not want to do anything to rectify the situation, but only wanted to charge me thousands of dollars to fix what they have ruined. I would never do business with a dishonest company, such as this. Consumer, beware, they will allow things to get out of control so they can tack on extra services. Stay clear.

Lawn Doctor has maintained my 20,000 sqft Lawn for many years. First couple of years they got rid of weeds and bare spots. Since then, I have a Lawn admired by passers-by. They really know what they are doing and do it with care.

Daryl went above and beyond to explain follow up lawn care to me. .. Not just for the immediate month, but between months of September and March, and then onto next year. I believe he has much pride in his job and is VERY professional. !!!!

Dan took the time to walk my property with me before beginning his service. This is my forth year with Lawn Dr. and I am very satisfied with their services. I added an irrigation system at the same time and the combination has resulted in a dramatic improvement in my lawn. The company is very responsive and you can tell they care about getting the best results possible.

Terrible results. Regular treatment five weeks ago. Lawn still full of weeds. They sent someone out two weeks ago to spot eradicate the weeds. Did not work. Lawn still full of weeds of various types. Called today and they said they could not do anything about it and offered me $20:off my next treatment. The service rep Bella was very rude and hung up on me when I was explaining that I was discontinuing service because they could not do anything about the weeds.

My experience with Lawn Doctor has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Here s why: Last year, Lawn Doctor performed seeding on my property, but they did a poor job. There were numerous bare spots where no lawn grew. After bringing this issue to their attention, they promised to either refund me or redo the service this year. However, they have yet to fulfill this promise. Recently, a Lawn Doctor employee came to my property for a fertilizer treatment. I specifically advised him not to proceed with the treatment due to the unresolved seeding issue. I saw no reason to continue giving them business until they took care of the pending problem. The representative acknowledged this and left my property. To my shock, I later received an email stating that the fertilizer service was completed and was asked to pay an invoice of approximately $148. This charge was for a service that was never performed. When I contacted Lawn Doctor to address this issue, instead of resolving it, they decided to close my account. This action did not address the unresolved seeding issue or the erroneous invoice. Closing my account was not a solution and only added to my frustration. They never completed the promised seeding service, leaving me with a lawn full of bare spots and an unjustified invoice. In summary, Lawn Doctor has provided poor service, failed to follow through on promises, and handled customer complaints unprofessionally. I strongly advise against using their services. Save yourself the hassle and look for a more reliable lawn care provider.

I signed up for lawn doctor s lawn services for the whole season this year, and I also added mosquito and tick control for the whole season. I am very disappointed in the level of service They are providing me. I reported issues over two weeks ago and they have not addressed those issues. My lawn is not looking good at all. I found several ticks on my dog and my kids reported the problem two weeks ago nothing has happened since then. Let s see if they rectify the situation and do better. if the service gets better overtime, I ll be glad to redo my review. So far it s been terrible experience..

Lawn doctor has always done an amazing job on my property. My lawn is green and I don t have to worry about ticks and mosquitoes in my yard because they spray all of my trees and plants to make sure. If I have any type of an issue with my lawn, or property they will send someone out to check on the problem and resolve it. My technician Adam Is very respectful and thorough in making sure that my property looks great. He takes the time to make sure that the job is done right. If I m home when they are here Adam always asked if I have any concerns that I ve seen in the yard and if I do, he will address them with me and if I m not home when Adam s here then he leaves a note on the invoice about what I should do or not do to correct a problem or issue.

We are very happy with Lawn Doctor and their environmentally friendly options. Adam did a great job today for our first application.

He rang the doorbell and connected with me prior to the treatment and explained what was going on and asked if he could answer any questions. I ve used Lawn Doctor for a few years now, I have to be honest, my yard kind of looks like Augusta National. (Not the flower part) definitely the grass part. When I purchased the house, I had no yard. Since I had fill and seed, The Lawn Doctor took the reigns from there. My lawn really is beautiful!!!

Just started a new program with Lawn Doctor and was looking forward to walking the lawn with the technician. Scott took the time to stop the machine walk over and introduce himself and review the application he was applying. Then walk a portion of the lawn and answered my questions and concerns. Felt very comfortable after the call that Lawn Doctor was a good choice for our lawn service. Looking forward to seeing the results. Hope to achieve Lawn of the Year in the neighborhood some day.
