We have had Virginia Green servicing our property for several years. They have always been courteous and professional. They are quick to respond to any questions and concerns that may arise. I would recommend Virginia Green to anyone considering using a quality lawn service.
Have been with Virginia Green probably about 5 years or more and have been very happy with there services. As with most lawns in Virginia the lawn starts to look a little rough with the heat of the summer especially if you have a fescue lawn but always looks great the rest of the year. Seems like the lawn technicians they hire are good quality people. They always do a good job when applying and my yard is no easy task with a large corner lot and lots of beds to navigate with there hoses. Thank you Virginia Green.
Think this is the 3rd year I've been using them. Every Virginia Green person I interact with is knowledgeable and cares. That includes person visiting my house and the people I talk to on the phone. They get the right things done. Yard consistently looks great and not unusual for people to stop by and ask for information about my service. They are also amongst the most inexpensive to work with. Would STRONGLY recommend them.

I was a former customer of Grass Roots. When the owners decided to retire and close their business, I transitioned to VA Green. I am well satisfied with the lawn care, disease prevention for my shrubs, and the weed bed control services I receive from them. There is good communication and responsiveness. Everyone who comes to my home has been professional and courteous.
Had the “other” green service for years but never great results. Since switching have been asked several times how my yard looks so great. Now over a dozen neighbors have gone w Va Green and all love it. They are thorough, on time, do sn analysis every visit and adjust treatment accordingly.

I have had Virginia Green doing my lawn for about two years now. As they told me upfront, it will take a few months for your yard to look great, but I have been very happy with the service. What I really like about them are as follows: 1. They have world-class customer service. Matt Klass is the technician who services my lawn and he is awesome! Always a kind word and good advice. He is worth the price for the service just by himself. 2. They are honest and you get a detailed report after each visit. 3. They only deal with lawns in VA, which means that they understand the challenges that you would have with your yard.

Virginia green has given me great results in one year and Im sure Ill be very pleased to see what my lawn looks like at the 2-year mark since they told me that it would take about two years to achieve what I wanted. I feel like Im 95% there already after 1. Thank you Virginia green.
I have had Virginia Green for only 6 months (mid-Dec through now mid-June) and my lawn looks better than it has for the past 10 years while I had TrueGreen. True Green was awful! When I wanted re-spray for weeds they told me just wait the weeds will go away when it gets cold. Hardly killed any weeds and I had bare and brown patches in many areas.....they didnt care. Virginia Green is fantastic. I went with Virginia Green because my neighbors yard looked so good. He also had True Green and fired them. Several neighbors have asked me why my lawn looks so good and I just say Virginia Green I also like the fact that I get a detailed report after every service and they also send out little fact sheets with good-to-know information... how to mow, when to mow, how/when and how much water for the lawn. I cant say enough about how pleased I am with Virginia Green. STAY AWAY FROM TRUEGREEN!!!
I used to have a really nice yard before I started using Va Green. It took a lot of effort and cost a lot of money. I d go to Malwart and buy a bunch of seasonal fertilizer and spread it ;myself. It would dry up in August despite watering and every august the brown spot would come back. Then one year I was really busy with rotary Club projects so I gave Va Green a try . What a difference they made. It cost only a little more and I do nothing and the grass is greener, healthier and no browspot. My neighbors began stopping by and after I complimented Va Green, now half the street is using them. This is not a paid endorsement.

I never had a lawn this good and green. The service is excellent and automatic. The service technicians are knowledgeable on lawn care. I recommend VA Green over other lawn care companies
Treatments are fine, grassroots Great. The only problem I have is I signed up for lawn care every 6 weeks and they continue to show up in much sooner intervals which increases the cost of the plan I agreed to per year.
I cant say enough positive things about Virginia Greens service. To be honest, I was nervous when they took over a former company I had been with because I wasnt sure how the customer service would be, but they have been great. I also have different lawn needs, Bermuda in the back and Fescue in the front. My technician, Kim, is outstanding, treating my lawn with TLC and taking the time to answer my questions or address any concerns I may have. They ensure my lawn stands out in my community. I also appreciate the spectrum of services they offer from basic lawncare to more specialized options (tree care, aerating, etc.)

Rry pleased with the yard ! We are in our third season and the yard gets better every year ! I still have a couple of problem spots that are better but they could be much better i hope in the future ! Your tecks are top notch respectful when they come in the yard . I have a huge patch of light colored seeding grass from the seed your company gives me each year and it dies and leaves a big dirt spot and really looks BAD!
I highly recommend Virginia Green for your lawn, tree, and shrub needs. I was with a different company for three years. My cameras caught them not showing on days they charged me service. That company also had weeds mixed in their seed blend .NOT Virgina Green though. With Virgina green my yard is deep green and full. My trees and shrubs are thriving. Customer service is very responsive and responsible.
