Bought my house about a year ago. The perimeter of the yard was almost completely overtaken by vines and shrubs. After a year of trying to reclaim the yard from all the overgrowth on my own (in my spare time), I caved and got a few quotes from variance landscapers. In addition to giving a fair quote, Lawn Barber was the only company that said they werent going to use chemicals to remove/kill the overgrowth. With small kids and pets, this was great to hear. After 2 long days of work, Lawn Barber completely stripped my yard and graded it. I couldnt be happier with the results.

The Lawn Barber of Hampton Bays will be the first call we make the next time we need something done in the yard. We have been homeowners in HB for 30+ years. We needed a tree removed a that was very close to the house, had gotten very big and was in a tricky spot to get their equipment to bc of the location. The tree was so big that we were concerned it could do damage to the deck, the house or the fence. Eddie was very knowledgable. He walked us through exactly what his crew would do. The removal went exactly as he said it would. They were responsive, punctual, professional, courteous and reliable. Their pricing was fair. A stellar experience start to finish. We hired The Lawn Barber to install Christmas lights at our home. They gave us a very fair price compared to other companies we were considering. They weren t the cheapest. But they definitely provided the best value. Further, they showed up on time and did the work in a very professional manner. But, the most impressive thing they did that earns five stars in my book was when our landscaper accidentally cut a string of lights during a clean up, Eddie showed up personally the next day and replaced the damaged section free of charge. i have been using eddie and lawn barber for over 10 years. when i moved he was the first company i called and he completely did the landscaping. i got a pool installed over the winter and the lawn on the side of my house and going in to the back was destroyed. i called eddie and he came over within 4 hours. two weeks later he brought in 22 yards of dirt snd put down Sod. the work was done to perfection. eddie came when promised. i would 100% recommend lawn barber to anyone needing landscaping and design work.

Had lawn barber rescue some existing Leyland Cyprus trees by widening out a burm, adding a new berm to the left side of my yard and planting native long island flowering shrubs throughout. They removed and planted a Dogwood in the front and added stone around my sheds. They ended up shaving down an area that was flooding bad and added an underground drain from the gutter downspout to the planting beds. After top dressing, airating, fertilizing and seeding the job was complete. Great communication throughout and in regards to price, you get what you pay for. I went the cheap rout a few times and just ended up wasting money. These guys are the real deal. A+

I had poor yard drainage on one side of my house. The ground was very swampy. Eddie and his crew removed literally tons of clay and installed an elaborate French drainage system to address this. It was a big job. Eddies operation was very professional from start to finish. It was evident that this was not their first rodeo. Eddie knows his craft and wants to get the job completed properly. The project covered my driveway being lined with Belgium Block and widened, then a new sprinkler system and finally laying down sod seed. This project involved grading the land, filling with top soil, installing a sprinkler system, seeding and planting 13 bushes. Eddie and his team worked quickly and professionally on this project. Eddie was extremely knowledgeable about the types of bushes we needed. They did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend the Lawn Barber for all your landscaping needs!

Eddy and his crew are fantastic! We had an island in the front of our house with a giant hill of remains from taking down 4 large trees. Eddy and his crew removed everything, flattened out the area, put down top soil, and seeded the area. The area looks beautiful! He also does our spring clean ups and our lawn looks like a baseball field when they re done! We are very lucky to be able to call him our guy!!

I had almost an acre of land around my house and pool that needed extensive planning and planting. Eddie Rodriguez of The Lawn Barber was a pleasure to work with. Fully licensed and insured, The Lawn Barber offers many more services than those I needed with the landscaping (check the website!). In my case, Eddie replaced a cracked retaining wall that was shearing off of the house and pulling shingles with it. In terms of the landscaping, Eddie pulled my vague notions into focus and gave them life. Communication back and forth by text was seamless. If I had second thoughts, they were incorporated. Eddie and his artistically inclined, hard working crew showed up when he said they would, and worked with a meticulous attention to detail, with Eddie on site all the while. This very large project was finished on schedule, and within a few days the property was completely transformed. Moreover, Eddie s pricing was very competitive, with extremely good value for money. And now that I have seen what Eddie can do, I want him to do more, with areas I did not consider this time, and I am looking forward to the landscape s next chapter with the Lawn Barber. The Lawn Barber has provided, supplied, installed and removed Holiday Lighting here in Bay Shore for our 55 Plus community, Windcrest. The Lawn Barber staff is more then congenial in dealing with our request to light our Gazebo with a large Wreath on its roof and lighting the bushes along our entrance way with brilliant white LED lights. Windcrest HOA would surely recommend Lawn Barber to anyone wishing to employ them in this capacity.

The do amazing job of putting up Christmas lights

We are so please with our experience this year , using lawn Barber to light our 65 ft pine tree. They did an amazing job, we hosted a lighting ceremony in honor of loosing my husband. It was his dream to one day have this tree lit. We know Brian was with us and viewed it from heaven Truly majestic! .

Eddie was a complete professional from start to finish. He answered my many texts immediately and put me at ease throughout the entire process. Eddie offered ideas when I didn t really know what I wanted and understood my vision for my yard. The lawn barber is able to do much more than just landscaping. Eddie installed new front steps for me, a beautiful stone path leading up to my new front steps and a pebble parking area as well. When I needed something to be changed or added, Eddie was very accommodating. I like the fact that Eddie stays flexible through the process. He understands that this is an investment financially but also a creative process as well. I know that Eddie will not finish the job until the customer is completely satisfied. I can easily give him 5 stars.

The lawn barber did a fantastic job with leveling out my front and back lawns with organic compost, followed by aeration to both as well. It was done in such a timely manner and no mess anywhere on my property. Highly recommended!!!

Professional, on time and did EXACTLY what I asked of them. Very happy. I was looking for a foundation flowerbed with pea gravel and to create a gravel area under a firepit and BBQ.
