I had a great experience with A+ for my landscaping needs at my new house. They did the grading, landscape design and installation, irrigation and sod. It all turned out great. Highly recommend.

I had received an email from a+ setting up my blowout for my irrigation system. On the date they were supposed to show up they blew out my neighbors system and not mine. Not sure what the issue is, are they hiring people that do not know how to count from zero to nine or what their issue is, as of this evening I am still waiting to hear back from them to find out when someone may show up to complete the service that I have already paid for in advance. I am not happy and I cannot believe that they would send someone out, who number one did not send a text or provide a phone call saying they were on their way. And then they go to the wrong address. If this company does not fix a problem ASAP I will be taking my business elsewhere

I couldnt be happier with the landscaping results. They were able to fix/repair my entire landscaping on the front of my house in a day. Staff were very good and they did an expectational job cleaning up and not tearing up my lawn with skid machine.

UPDATE: Somehow A+ managed to make this EVEN WORSE! They came out to fix the problem, finally. Now the sprinklers are unreliably spurting water, pointing directly at our upstairs bathroom, and intermittantly turning on throughout the day! Oh, and theyre charging for this! Seriously avoid this company at all costs. Avoid A+ Outdoor Services. We had them turn on our irrigation this year and they flooded our house. They originally claimed that it was Xfinitys fault and put all blame on them. Now theyve completely changed their story and are saying its an issue with fittings (which is what Xfinity said as well). This is not a trustworthy business. They are not BBB accredited and you should avoid them.

A+ should realize that there is competition in the marketplace. They demand payment up front before even scheduling the appointment and before completing the work! I ve been down this road before with contractors and vendors; it s not a good idea to remove their motivation to perform well. Good decisions are often a result of past poor decisions. I ve learned my lesson and will remove a bad experience before it happens.

All we wanted was just a bid and finally after almost 2 weeks had past they replied back stating they wanted us to sign something before they could even give us one ....ehhhhh no......that s a red flag for us. We went w Friedges.

So I am updating my review from last year. Last year I had problems and was pleased with at how they addressed them. This year I have problems again, and I am now wondering why I have problems every year. Please look at the pictures below showing the damage done to my yard. How does something like that even happen? And if it does happen - wouldnt you expect a company called A+ Outdoor Services would go above and beyond to address the issue? I have recurring issues with this company, and their response this year was a C- (barely enough to partially address the issue, and only after repeated calls from me). The Director of Operations at the company (Jim) doesnt appear to care about my issue. Unlike the other comments in this thread, I would rate his response to me as a 0. Before I even spoke, he started our call by stating that he did not understand why someone at his level even needed to talk to a customer. Then he proceeded to make excuse after excuse for not doing the work to fix the issue in the picture below. He is reportedly a nice guy, but that was not my experience. ------------------- Post from 2019 The thing I like about A+ is that they have responded to my concerns. I dont expect that things will always be perfect, but when I have an issue I like the fact that they are fair-minded and resolve the issue as a win-win. I would also comment that Chuck is an All-Star. He takes care of our yard and has gone above and beyond expectations on several occasions. He treats our yard like it is his yard, which really is all you can ask for. At times I quibble about how much it costs us to use A+, but in the end I have never regretted employing them to help us with our yard.

Reasonably priced blowout. They came out in bad weather to get my appointment completed. Only complaint is that my initial appointment never got made when I initially called in. I had to call in again a few weeks later to get on their schedule so I had it done later in the month then I would have liked.

A + Outdoor Services has done work for us for the past several years. They have always been very professional, performed fabulous work, and have a great staff of people.

Edit: Also they provided me with incorrect insurance carrier and policy number today - 4 days post incident date. I have their U.S DOT number. Filing a complaint with DOT and Attorney General office and FMCSA Their truck totaled my car and was threatening and aggressive. Called their number to get insurance information and was told Im lying lol even though I have photos and video and accident took place in taco bell parking lot. I spoke with someone called Lori who not only said I was lying but told me and I quote give me your information but I am not going to give you ours lol. And when I did said a manager will call me back by EOD well now its 5pm and their office is closed. Now Im going to have to call the police again and force them to open a report!

Installed system in 2003 & have opened, closed & all service ever since. Excellent service & great to deal with!

Complete garbage company!! They dont do the work...last guy we had out to do a start up gave up and left - said his back hurt. We finally rescheduled and they dont even show up...costing a lost day of work for me. Then they route all customer service calls to an answering service where customers can leave a message for a return call that never comes. What a waste of time and money they have become...100% rubbish. STAY AWAY from these worthless clowns.

I have used A+ Outdoor services for a few years now and they always do an excellent job. Yesterday Chuck spent the whole day doing spring cleanup in my yard. I have a few acres and Chuck was so though to make sure every leaf, branch etc was picked up and mulched , as well as mowing my lawn. It looks beautiful! Thank you again Chuck for a wonderful job and I m happy you are assigned to my property this season ! Great company and I would also recommend them for snow removal !

I received a phone call from Jim Keeley today in regards to the tech that was out completing a service call for him. He specifically called to tell me that the tech (Mike Hill) was extremely courteous and very professional. YAY MIKE!! Jim is not computer savvy so I asked him if we could use his quoted comments on our google page and asked what he would rate the tech out of 5 stars. Jim replied If he had to rate him I would give him 6 stars out of 5. Jim approved quoted text and his rating to be entered on our google page for him. Thanks Jim!!

Fast and good service

Guys are nice but the finished product is lacking. They are contracted through our association or I would not have them back. Time and again the grass is cut uneven in multiple spots and consistently left too long to not come back more than once a week. They also cut the lawn in the same direction every time which is a no-go in lawn care. I have had lengths up to my ankle the day they mow and at the same time, chunks ripped up 2 feet away.

Hired them to fix and electrical problem with the sprinkler. Took over 2 hours to decide to rewire the main electrical so spliced in a new line. States everything was tested and worked. 30 minutes after leaving we attempted to run the sprinklers and one zone did not respond. Checking the lawn, this area of the lawn was dry and there was no proof that water had been run through that zone. Had to make another appointment and it was stated that mice ate the wires. They were all left exposed at the splice areas. He stated that see were told to call after landscaping In the area was complete and he would return to bury wires, however that was not a comment that was heard by the other homeowner. Seems like a quick turnaround for a mouse to get in a chomp on a wire being 30 minutes between the 2 tests in daylight. The 2nd visit everything was thrown Into 2 valveboxes after reconnecting exposed wires to contain and protect which should Have been done the first time. Have received one large bill and waiting on a second. Employee was nice enough but didnt seem like a thorough first job. Update: its been 2 weeks and 4 phone calls to them to discuss my issues and the extra trip I was charged. Have not received any call back.

My association has a contract with this company, therefore I must pay them, or else I wouldn t. We pay for year round outdoor services. Nothing is ever done accordingly. The so called snow removal is never done correctly/completely. Leaves are never blown. Grass is never cut accordingly. Have to continuously call about the same problem event though they say they will talk to that areas team leader about it. Wouldn t waste money on people who do half assed jobs if I could.

The lack of communication and timely responses to customers has been an issue for quite some time. This year, with the first snowfall 12/2 we were literally asked (for the first time) to prove we had 2 of snow per our contract by sending them a picture. We were then told thank you for the picture but if it is less than 2 when they arrive, it will be a billable service (above the paid contract). With this snowfall today we have yet to receive service and there have been no return calls from the answering service. On top of that they drove by our home without stopping this evening. After following them to a home in the neighborhood I asked if they were coming to our home next. First, I was appalled when they said this is our only home in this neighborhood. I explained we had contracts (myself and a neighbor) and shared our addresses. They said they would come to our home next. They literally drove by again and left the neighborhood. No plowing services were provided. We collectively sent 5 emails and called them 5 times today and only received 1 reply at 2pm stating the crews were out and would determine if driveways had 2 of snow to qualify for service. I can assure you we have 2 of snow. It should not take this level of effort to receive services for a paid contract. And, communication is key and we have received next to none.

Steve seemed eager to please but a little scattered. Multiple phone calls and months later hes not interested. Does not return phone calls and no follow through. Poor customer service.

Jon Kallestad took the time and effort to do a custom plan for myself, had a great customer service experience with A+. Will and Jake are great people as well. You wont be disappointed.

Ill try and keep it short. Everything was professional but the service. There is an absurd amount of rocks and glass in the black dirt that was laid in addition to huge clumps of dirt that were not packed. One of their crew mistakenly took my shovel (I did get a shovel back eventually, not mine). They buried a tarp a few feet in where the grass has taken root, so I will have to rip up the grass. They buried two pop up drain emitters not once but 3 times and cut through one (which they fixed). I have two valve boxes in the middle of my yard that I was not told about (maybe thats standard?). Lastly, after completion I was not given instructions on watering or how to run the dang thing! It wasnt hard to figure out but still, you would think after the amount I just spent you would get a little more value.

They are awesome and reasonably priced. We have them do our spring clean-up every year, de-thatching the lawn, getting leaves and debris out of the perennial beds. They are fast, clean and always do a fantastic job.
