Horrible drivers on the road, had one of their pickup trucks cut me off while I was trying to make a turn in the left lane from the right lane because they did not want to wait behind in line like everyone else. Had to edit after reading the reviews and realized this company is notorious for horrible drivers and not caring about the safety of anyone else on the road. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE BUSINESS keep your community and kids safe stay away from their dangerous drivers.
These people are whack!! First, they cut down a 100-year-old oak tree next door and were throwing it onto my lawn, then they cut down branches of a tree in my yard damaging it beyond compare and leaving it lope sided. The State of Florida Law states "Property owners can TRIM trees with documentation from a licensed arborist" or "trim branches that extend past the property line if it doesn't threaten the tree's health". Either they don't have a license or permit because Polk County has no ordinance for that, or they are at least refusing to show it to me. What's worse is they agree with me, but it's what their customer wants so they can get paid. The last photo is what they did to my tree!!
I always have to email them to remind them to mow my yard. Then I’m lucky if they do. Don’t give them your money. My hoa uses them and I have no choice.
Crossing highway 27 from chalet Suzanne rd to Thompson nursery rd Prince and son pickup truck cut me off by using the left turn lane to pass me, then whe n got in front of me he put his brakes on and I almost hit him. After I honked my horn at him he put his hand out the window and gave me the middle finger. We got going down Thompson nursery dean’s he was driving 62 mph in a 45 mph then he started swerving across the road when I tried to get a picture of his door to find the company he worked for. If all their workers are like that one they are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and I would never hire them for anything. This is the license plate of the work truck
Their lawn service is terrible. They scalped my yard the way they use the string trimmer. They put holes in my plastic fence with their trimmer. They bent my metal fence with their mower. They Refused to fix anything. The only way to keep my property safe is to keep them off it. Do NOT trust your lawn to them!!!!
Prince is responsible for the lawn care in our community. After weeks of simply trying to get weed eating / edging done that I am paying for this is what my yard still looks like.
Our community uses Prince Landscaping. I have my own private landscaper, and have set out the markers for no cut, which have been ignored. One person doing the grass cut, who ignored the 'no cut' markers, idled on the lawn, burned a section, complete with tire ruts. I have called twice, promised a call back from manager, and haven't received any response. Now, I need to pay to correct this damage, that should have never happened!!!! Hi All I am treasurer of my HOA division and we currently contracted Prince And sons to remove and trim a row of trees in our Community. The project was a big project as we have very tall and abundant trees. I personally spoke and meet with VP Lucas who came to the community to view the scope of work. I want to say they did an amazing job at cleaning up and removing all the dead branches and trees especially after hurricane Ian, it was alot of work but very well done. I will defiantely recommend them for all types of work. For anyone who is part of a HOA feel free to contract them as they came to get the job done on time and at a very reasonable price.
Some of their employees are rude, disrespectful and careless. They came on to my property and stole avocados off my tree. They have also broke several sprinkler heads and refused to acknowledge it.
Me and family shopping at the plublix and your guys weed eating the grass all over my truck and other cars in the parking lot it s very unprofessional to make a mess all over other peoples vehicles and act like it s no big deal . One star for being unprofessional
Had a driver today almost hit me with one of there trucks running the stop sign in Carlton arms of winter haven flying through in a large truck
We felt compelled to write this review to thank you for the absolutely WONDERFUL job your landscaping crew have done to the Berkley Ridge community in Auburndale, FL! We understand that companies usually get complaints instead of praise, but today, we want to reassure you how OUTSTANDING the crew is that serves the Berkley Ridge community in Auburndale, FL! Our previous landscaping company DESERVED complaints, but since September 2022, the Prince & Sons crew have restored beauty to all of our common areas and retention ponds by removing spanish moss off the trees, cutting back overgrown crepe myrtles & magnolia trees, allowing new growth/beautiful blooms! Now that the rains have come in June, everything has greened-up, bringing back much wildlife to our beautiful community. Please thank the crew that serves us. In our eyes, they are second to none! Prince & Sons do my community lawn care. Today I had 1 guy in a lawnmower not looking and almost Tbone into my car when he pulled out between two townhouses. Thank goodness I was going slow enough to do an emergency stop. Then on my walk, two of the lawnmowers were kind and stopped while I passed. However the leaf blower, and a lady doing edging didn t care even though they saw me. They sprayed me completely with dust and fragments. I do not recommend this company.

Very prompt and professional
Their mowers equipment does not cut the lawn. Just leaves tire marks in the lawn and dirt marks in your driveway and sidewalk. Ive spoken to the boss and he doesnt honor his word in what he says. He told me hed make things right and he never did. I dont recommend using them.

Prince and Sons are a very good company. Jahe responded quickly to do the estimate. We were satisficed with his terms, and he scheduled us immediately for leveling our 20 year old pavers. He also replaced pavers as needed. We highly recommend Prince and Son for any landscaping or paver projects.
Company drivers drink Corona while driving. Yes, drinking and driving. Management knows but won t do anything about it. Pictures and videos are available to justify this review.
Someone with this business was going almost at least 80 through Lake Alfred this morning (it s like 7 am ) and passed me. Then tried to pass a group of 5 cars just to almost hit someone head on. Then, a few minutes later, a police officer with sirens went by, everyone got over and this guy just kept going. It s literally the law. I wasn t surprised to see the bad reviews about this company s principles and reckless driving here before. Yikes. Locals don t give business to locals who put our lives and our children s lives in danger. It s school hours. We are trying to get our kids to school, and to work safely. Do better.
I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with the services provided by Prince and Sons. Despite my repeated efforts to maintain my property within the guidelines set by our HOA, the company has consistently sprayed grass killer along my fence line. This is particularly concerning as my fence is several inches within my property line, making their actions a direct damage to my personal property. I have raised this issue with our HOA, and while Prince and Sons temporarily ceased this practice, they have unfortunately resumed it. Their lack of regard for personal property boundaries is unacceptable. Furthermore, my attempts to directly address this issue with Prince and Sons have been met with unprofessionalism. After providing my contact details for a supervisor to call me back, I have received no response, reflecting a disregard for customer concerns and a lack of accountability. I am left with no choice but to rate them one star due to the damage theyve caused to my property and their poor customer service. I hope this feedback prompts Prince and Sons to reevaluate their practices and improve their communication and respect for property boundaries.
Nice place to work
I sit on an HOA Board in Riverview,Fl. We were fortunate enough to hire Prince and Sons to do the landscaping in our community. They immediately assessed the conditions we had and started working to correct them. Their attention to detail is unheard of in a big box landscaper. They are friendly and very accommodating to our residents and even visited with residents who requested them to check their individual sprinkler systems and correct them. In every way they have exceeded our expectations. We wish we could give them a lot more than five stars.
This company has not only killed my lawn, but they are continuing to mow it after it is dead! This is the worst lawn company I have ever seen.
Pcrf33 that s the license plate of one of your vehicles that was driving like a maniac. Sped up to cut me off twice. If you can t be professional while driving a company vehicle, than you re definitely unprofessional in business. No wonder you have such a low star rating. Reading the reviews tells me my assumption is accurate.

Price andson truck driving down 570 with unsecured bags of mulch I saw 6 large sheets of white plastic blow off the back along the highways. One almost stuck to my windshield. Need too have a pretty careless crew to not notice tons of trash flying out the back of the truck.
Called looking for a dump truck load of clean fill delivered, and they delivered same day with no issues. Competitive price and quick service.
A chubby white guy with shades was disrespectful and don t know how to treat people that come in for the first time don t recommend coming to this place
Prince and sons have been cutting the lawn here in Winter Haven, the preserve at lakeside landings. I just had noticed my fence was damaged and James the manager has responded by saying they no longer are in the community.. they have in the past broke my gate, destroyed my downspouts and chipped my exterior of home.. no one in this small community was happy with the work they provide. Beware they will leave things broken and damages.. alls I wanted was someone to unbend my fence.. Mary was very nice.. James you need to be talked to.. I plan on letting the preserve know how you treated me and hopefully they will not be using your service in the future.

This Company is horrible, they are irresponsible and dont own up to their damage they do to your property. They damaged the fence in September and it is now near the end of November and they still havent repaired the damage. They say they are waiting for the fence xompaney . BS they just dont care about the quality of work and services they provide. I do not recommend anyone to use this Company
Prince is hired by our HOA. When it rains, Prince employees take cover on my back porch. They lay down on the porch 6 inches away from the back door. They also like to antagonize my dog while she is in the back yard.
Whoever drives the white truck marked with this companys logo should realize that extreme tailgating all the way down del prado at 615 am is not a sport. Get off peoples bumpers, to include while stopped at red lights. Youre not making anyone move any faster.
This company recently took over grounds keeping in Calabay Parc At Tower Lake and we encountered some initial issues. The community management company was advised however nothing seemed to have been corrected. The company owner of Prince went out of his way to contact us and deal with them directly. Given the recentcy of the contact it appears that things have gotten ironed out. This rating is based on the customer service displayed by the owners of Prince and the anticipated service they continue to provide. Thanks again.

We had Prince Land Services clean up our property after Hurricane Irma and a Tornado hit us. The crew of Jimmy, Eddie & Ian and the others were Awesome. The worked for 2 long days in the heat. They were reasonable, did an excellent job and we were extremely pleased. We would highly recommend The Prince Team. Thank you very much!
